Clybaun Hotel

Good ambience, decoration, open and light, various public areas to relax, we didn’t use the leisure facilities so can’t comment, room was fine and big enough, nice big bed, restaurant/bar was good. We had 2x dinners and 2x brekkies which were good, wide selection both.

Window handles needed attention, bathroom needs more than 1 hook for towels or clothes We had cause to send back some undercooked food, which initially wasn’t handled very well but resolved

Staff were friendly, they made the children feel so welcomed and special. They even said they felt like they were staying in a fancy place because they were giving ice cream on arrival. Lovely touch.

Nothing.

Clean, tidy, quiet and great facilities onsite with gym and leisure centre access.

The staff were exceptional, especially Barbara at the front desk. The meals we had at the Courtyard were delicious and the wait staff were polite and friendly. We also like the decor and our TV worked well.

Having a refrigerator in the room would have been helpful.

Struttura comoda e accogliente e con ristorante e bar aperti . Colazione e cene ottime .

Breakfast was good and the staff were super helpful when the pancake machine was not working. The lobby was very elegant and chic.

The view out our window was the only room that looked out to a wall, so that was disappointing. The rooms, compared to the rest of the hotel/lobby etc, were not as impressive.

Nice bar good atmosphere with sports. Breakfast good

Not value for money

Luxurious

No wash clothes

Nice hotel. Excellent food.

Bath/shower not very accessible. Need to update.

Very clean and great shower

We had a great British breakfast with available Gluten-free option.

Shower curtain... all in all just a small nuissance, but I hate it... :)

The welcome from Ivan at the front desk. Superb. The decor throughout

No complaints

Good clean modern hotel with the exception of the lift. Small and could have benefited from a deep clean. We choose to use the stairs rather than travel in the lift. Breakfast each morning was excellent

Dirty lift

Staff so friendly , child friendly , fab hotel

Liked everything

Tutto perfetto, consigliato!

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Perfect for a weekend away. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was great.

Nothing I didn't like

Clean, comfortable, welcoming and the food is very delicious!

Car parking and friendly service. Convenience of public transport.

Good hotel. A bit of a drive from the city center though

The room were spacious, great location, friendly staff

Size of the meal at the restaurant, fish and chips was really good but it was way too much for one person it’s a shame to waist such a great food - the pillows were way too hard for my liking and the elevator looks pretty old comparing to the rest of the hôtel.

Very clean, staff were amazing, food was great we had a lovely stay and will be back

Staff were friendly. Breakfast very good. Walk in shower very good.

A little bit pricey. Location a little far from city centre.

It has a lovely family vibe and kid friendly

Just a little too outside salthill for a walk with the small kids along the prom

Exceptionally friendly staff.

Bed uncomfortable.

Ottima colazione

La colazione eccezionale

We stayed at the clybaun last week for 3 nights. It was our 2nd stay in 12mnts. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a beautiful soul. He was so chatty and brought a cheerful vibe. We absolutely loved our room. It was spotless, so comfortable, and definitely worth every penny. The rooms have such a luxurious feel to them. Through our whole stay we didnt hear a peep there, which was great for our kids. The food was really nice. They have a fabulous garden to sit in or bring the kids on a small walk for air. The water ball is definitely a winner with our kids. Our 2 ASD boys which are hard to please 🤣 love the hotel and staff. They couldn't wait to get back again. Our only problem leaving was we didn't want to leave. We were sorry we didnt book another 3 or 4 days. The promenade is 1.2km away!! Ideal. The cleaning staff are on top form, very pleasant, mannerly and don't miss a beat. If I could give it 10 stars I would

I have no complaints about staff , food comfort, and the cleanest of the room.

The only one issue we had was the swimming pool facilities. It is not suitable or has it any assess suitable . There is no disability toilet.

Travelled to Galway for a business trip and stayed one night at the Clybaun. Bence and the team were just superb- super friendly, offering to package up breakfast and takeaway coffees for my colleague and I before we left for our 7am meeting, and making the stay just so seamless. The room was also lovely, clean, and quiet- a dream!

Convenient parking, good food and beverage options, and a nice pool and spa area. The hotel isn’t really centrally located to Galway City Centre, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to explore on foot. Our room also did not have air conditioning or a refrigerator. If those amenities are important to you, make sure you ask about them before booking or request them in advance, otherwise you may be disappointed. Overall, a comfortable stay with some nice amenities, but there are definitely a few things to be aware of.

Lovely Galway hotel , very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Reception staff were so helpful while checking us in. Bed was very comfy and room was spotlessly clean, loved the toiletries and we slept well. Hotel in general was very clean, decor was fresh and location is good. We didnt dine there as we had other plans with friends. We would definitely stay at the Clybaun again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable. It was very easy to locate. The breakfast was excellent. The price of the hotel room was very reasonable.

Popped in for a few pints with a friend and had a great time. Nice atmosphere, clean and welcoming, with friendly staff. Special mention to Bence, who was very friendly and went above and beyond. Would definitely come back!

Breakfast Hotel in general

Location a bit far from Salthill via public transport

Bellissima struttura

Posizione, colazione, parcheggio gratuito, grandezza stanza quadrupla

Mancanza cassaforte e minibar in stanza.

Beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff! No complaints and would love to go back. Our room and very spacious and very comfortable.

Ivan on reception was warm and friendly on arrival. Rooms were a good size with comfy beds

Just a bit tired. Bathrooms need a refurb - cracked sink in our room, and for £250 per room per night I’d expect something a bit more modern. Location was further from town than I’d anticipated

Nice pool girl on check in dest very professional

We got premium room and it had no bath or fridge also air conditioning not working i assumed there would be a bath especially paying 556 euros for 2 nights i was in a motor bike crash and need bath most suits in hotels have a bath

Very comfy

Restaurant and bar have great food and drink at reasonable prices. Staff are attentive and accommodating. Facilities at swimming pool are great to have on site. Breakfast is also worth including.

Banoffee pie for dessert was only disappointment.

Very good selection breakfast. Staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in was very comfortable. Bus stop right outside so very handy for travelling in and out of the city

Everything was buffet style. Would have liked if tea/coffee and toast were brought to the table. In the room, there were no drawers for storage - OK for one night but a bit of a drawback if staying for 2 or 3 nights
