Hotel is way too overpriced for what you get. Room is clean but basic.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous! PERFECT location for enjoying both Salt Hill Prom area and Galway shopping and dining.

Hier stimmt das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis nicht.Zimmer mit winzigem Fenster zum Innenhof in dem die Lüftungsanlage laut brummt. Es hat etwas von Massenabfertigung. Wir haben in der Bar gut gegessen, sie war am Samstag total überfüllt und extrem laut. Passt zur gesamten Stadt, deren eigentlicher Charme und Schönheit dem Massentourismus zum Opfer fällt.

I loved the room , was so spacious and clean .And the bed was so comfortable. i fell asleep really well. The food was amazing and the staff were so nice and helpful.

Le personnel très gentil. Spécialement Youssef à l’accueil qui a été très attentionné. Nous avions une chambre vue sur la Baie. Nous marchions tous les jours vers le centre ça prend 40-45 min et c’est très agréable.

Pour vous ça a été excellent.

There is a thing called toppers on the beds and I was still a wake at 3 am in the morning. I rang reception and explained, he said there was nothing he could do for me ! Customer satisfaction :(

The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. The room was small but very, very nice. The location was overlooking Galway Bay and very easy to access public transportation to go downtown.

The choice of restaurants in the immediate area was limited. Twin beds instead of a queen or king. Trivial; however, very limited channels on the TV.

Big comfy bed, short drive to Galway. Onsite parking at a cost. Nice and comfy.

Atmosphere and decoration of the hotel was beautiful and staff were attentive and friendly.

Would have appreciated an information leaflet/booklet in the room with further information on the hotel facilities etc. in addition to the short leaflet on ordering breakfast. (Don't always want to have to look things up on mobile phone which may not be charged yet also screen is small so I would prefer to have a page or leaflet to read from.)

Location was fab. Right on sea front & promenade. Local bus (401) from outside hotel, into Galway great value for money & a good way to see a little along the front.

Taxis are quite expensive!

Great location along Salthill’s famous promenade and close to bus route to Galway city. The staff were friendly and very efficient, particularly one morning when lots of guests arrived for breakfast at the same time. We have stayed here previously and would have not hesitation booking the hotel again 😊

The location and overall ambiance of the property is excellent. The staff are very good on the breakfast although a buffet is always well stocked and additional items can be asked for. We will definitely return.

The bedroom furniture was a little bit dated, but this was forgiven because of the extraordinary sea views and spaciousness of the rooms.

What a wonderful spot! Love the fact that it’s right on the prom and that we could literally walk along the beach into town and that there’s parking. They have some of the best customer service. The woman at the front (forgot her name, but has a nose ring) went above and beyond for us numerous times. Same with Alessandro in the restaurant. As a celiac, I felt so safe (and satiated) there. I was shocked by how many breakfast items they had, and how the menu was almost all gluten free and how Knowledgeable the staff were. I would for sure stay here again. We also loved the little park in front and the gym access is fantastic.

Our bathroom smelled a bit mold-y, but I imagine this is challenging to manage given how humid it is.

We enjoyed our stay at Salthill. It's a beautiful hotel across from the beach. Our stay was comfortable and our room a good size. The beds were comfy and the bathroom a nice size. There is a bus stop not too far from the hotel, so it makes it easy to catch a bus down to the main square. There is parking on the premises. We ate at the hotel restaurant and it was good.

Being near the sea, the spacious bar. A lovely walk to the city We stayed there for our Wedding Anniversary for a few years

Il bagno vecchio con doccia fissa che funzionava male. Ho chiesto cambio stanza con bagno vasca o doccia con flessibile,mia moglie aveva il ciclo,la reception se ne è fregata. Ci hanno messo nell' ala più vecchia. Pulizie non fatte a richiesta un inserviente ci ha solo cambiato gli asciugamani..una vergogna!! Neanche una cuffia per la doccia in reception ci hanno recuperato. Ho girato molto in Irlanda,ho sempre pagato bene ma mai ho trovato un hotel così gestito. E non ho certo risparmiato. Altrove accolto benissimo,per fortuna l' Irlanda è fatta di gente accogliente ma al Salthill fanno di tutto per non farti tornare in Irlanda!!!

During the stay the guests experienced significant disruption, including excessive noise. As a result, a manager acknowledged the issues and agreed that the hotel would provide a partial refund of as compensation. Over a month later, this refund has still not been received, and a phone call and formal email complaint not responded to.

Beautiful hotel welcoming staff at reception

My husband and myself suffer from sleep apnea we needed a outlet (for a cpap and bipap machines) unfortunately there was only one outlet next to the bed but there were 3 outlets at the desk across from the bed which means one of us had to sit in a chair for 4 hours (totally unacceptable)

Fantastic location with sea views and a minutes walk from the beach . The sandy beaches in Salthill were easily accessed for swimming . The bus route by the hotel has regular buses to Galway and the Galway tour bus also stops en route. Staff were all very welcoming . Food served in the bar was delicious and reasonably priced . There was ample easy parking . My room was a dual aspect sea view room which was very comfortable. The foyer has plenty of seating and is a pleasant at place to spend time in.

Requested breakfast to the room, unfortunately no one collected the order from the door. Buffet breakfast ok, never offered water for tea. Work going on in the hotel, loud drilling until dinner time.

This was the first hotel in Ireland that provided slippers in the room — a lovely surprise!

The sliding entrance door was quite dirty — covered in dust and cobwebs, which left a negative first impression

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Bar area was busy and well staffed. Wish I had time to test out the pool.

Service in the Restaurant was very slow and it was meant to be the premium option. Food was very good when it finally arrived.

La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, sul lungomare con vista Oceano, il personale è accogliente, le stanze spaziose.

La colazione un po' troppo affollata .....

Room was very spacious and comfortable, as was bath.

The listing says the facility had laundry but instead they only had the option of sending it OUT - very expensive! It was a much farther walk (40 min.) from main tourist area than we expected. On-site restaurant was not great, neither the food nor the service. (Waitstaff couldn't explain one of the dishes!)

Didn't think it was value for money especially the dinner menu.

My daughter has a disability with her hands and they couldn't provide a mug for her breakfast.
