Its a very traditional Italian hotel.

Been five times before but it’s starting to look a little tired now. In need of refreshing. No flexibility from staff on late check outs and one of the staff / life guard at the sun deck was just rude.

Forse, per il pranzo in spiaggia, sarebbe opportuno inserire anche qualche piatto tipico della Costiera, valorizzando un po’ di più la cucina locale, e non proporre soltanto piatti pensati per accontentare la clientela straniera.

This was our 5th visit to this hotel and whilst we had a great stay once more, such a small thing really irked us. The location is great, a short walk into Minori for local restaurants and bars, a 10 minute journey by taxi to Amalfi and about the same up to Ravello. Most of the staff are super friendly & can’t do enough for you - from the reception staff to the breakfast staff & bar staff - but what let the stay down was the rudeness of the guy who ‘ran’ the bathing/sunbed area! We are not normally ones to give negative feedback. Travelling as a 3 (all adults) the beds are largely laid out in groups of 2 or 4. One morning I dared to move a bed and was made to feel that I’d really upset his day telling me I can’t do that as he has ‘many customers’ who need the beds as 2 or 4 - he didn’t seem to appreciate that we were also customers. A lot of huffing & puffing and he eventually ‘allowed’ me to keep the bed. The next morning the same, and he directed me to a set of 4 beds which made no sense as we were taking up a spare bed for one of ‘his customers’ He showed the same annoyance when I asked for 2 extra towels - no, he has many customers!! In the end I just shrugged it off & tried to ignore the obvious irritation - it wasn’t just us I noticed - but Jonny who also worked the beds ensured we had additional towels and he was super attentive - he made up for the silly man & his attitude. Such a silly thing to moan about but he really did alter the way we felt about this otherwise lovely hotel!!

Minor gripe was that the apartments, where i was staying, had no daily cleaning or breakfast included.

Ravello Art Hotel Marmorata is a gorgeous, clean, and extremely well-kept hotel with a cozy, quiet, and uncrowded vibe. Its location is unbeatable—built directly into the cliff right above the sea, next to a beautiful waterfall. The pool is on the smaller side, but it’s seamlessly built into the scenery, and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic.

On the downside, I’m not big on nightlife or large, lively evening events, so the late parties and massive group dinners weren't really my style. Because of that, I found it a bit hard to just sit back and enjoy a quiet, authentic local meal in the evenings.

Our stay at Hotel Marmorata was absolutely perfect. This is one of those rare places where everything exceeds expectations. The level of service is exceptional. Every member of the staff was genuinely kind, attentive, professional, and always smiling. From breakfast to dinner service, and even on the private beach, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The rooms were impeccably clean every single day. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared, with excellent quality throughout our stay. Nothing was ever missing. The breathtaking sea views made every breakfast and every evening unforgettable. Waking up to this scenery is an experience in itself. What makes this hotel truly special is not only its beautiful location but also its people. They create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home while enjoying a luxury holiday. We are leaving with wonderful memories and one certainty—we will be back. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stanza situata al piano -1 , poco insonorizzata. Al passaggio di persone al piano superiore si poteva udire ogni passo.

Booked this last minute. Customer service was fantastic, property is spectacular. Only small issue is that the shuttle service into town is very limited and the taxis are insanely expensive. Highly recommend this one!

We stayed in Charming Apartment which is500m from the main building- spacious and has the lovely views all around. Well equipped and with sufficient sockets all around the unit. The hotel has access to the sea and it’s definitely a plus plus point for us.

The water pressure in the bathroom can get low at times. But this is not an issue big enough to make our stay unpleasant.

Absolutely perfect location, the views are stunning, wonderful access to the ocean/sea and a great pool area too! We loved that they have three restaurant options as well as an exceptional breakfast buffet! The staff is some of the best we’ve ever encountered in our vacations over the years. Paolo, Teresa, Giuliana, Roberta, Johnny and Luigi are so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome and by the end of our stay we were hugging them goodbye! Thank you all for everything and memories that will last a lifetime❤️

We stayed in the large boutique apartment, which is not directly attached to the hotel itself… the description said it would be a short walk to get to the hotel, but the distance was quite a bit more than we expected…BUT, after settling in and walking it a few times it was really no problem at all, and the shuttle service was great and was able to pick us up most of the time as well!

The location was brilliant it was not in the busy area but easy enough to get to Amalfi which was packed. The views were exceptional Having breakfast and dinner in such a wonderful setting was all anyone could ask for The Shower gel & shampoo were so nice! The staff were so lovely especially the breakfast staff and reception

The pool as tiny and too shallow to swim in There was no beach associated with the hotel or even nearby The rooms were clean but a little basic. Toilet extractor fan was so loud it was annoying and the shower 🚿 was not working in full, could only use the hand held nozzle

Beautiful sea view, good location

Très bel emplacement , bien situé, vue magnifique. Le personnel est vraiment très attentionné et très accueillant.

Pas d’eau chaude dans la douche deux matins de suite malgré le signalement fait le premier matin. Nous étions en avril , il faisait très chaud dans la chambre.

The view from the terrace is great. The apartment is big.

The location, which is 500m from the main hotel, is really not great. I don't think these two should be advertised as the same accommodation. The ratings are misleading. No sponge for washing the dishes. Kitchen not well-equipped.

Amazing views and they make you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive. All staff are very friendly & attentive. Breakfast was nice and had everything you need. The hotel is quirky and fun, however traditional Italian style rooms (if you are used to modern rooms these will feel slightly retro). Shuttle buses available to most local towns and area is good for seeing Ravello, Amalfi, Positano & Minori nearby. Bed was comfortable & we got upgraded to a sea room at no extra cost which was really nice of the hotel. Lovely meal at lunch (all sea food) but again slightly expensive for what it is, but I guess you pay for the view.

The showers were cold (we didn’t complain as we were hot after a day of walking so not an issue, but if it had been cooler outside would have mentioned it). Others complained so must be issue across the hotel. No aircon due to time of the year (April), which isn’t great as some days it was hitting 24 degrees and aircon for the price of hotel is expected. Unable to use the steps the sea as they were shut off which was super disappointing as we booked this hotel in anticipation that this would be fully in use to those staying there. Cocktails / beers etc extremely expensive - £18 per drink is extortionate, we would have spent more time at the hotel having drinks before / after going out if they had been cheaper.

View was excellent, staff were very friendly and obliging and the food and drink offerings were great.

This hotel and the location were amazing. The mattresses in the sea were a really good touch. The food was amazing as well, the staff really lovely. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We loved it there

We had booked a room for 2 days in Septembre, but unfortunately our transportation fell through and try as we might we could not manage transportation that would get us back in time for our flight home so we had to try to cancel, or even re-book for another date. The hotel refused to even consider any kind of options. No partial refund, no re-schedule (even at a different time convenient for them). They even charged us for 2 days parking which is unheard of. We had only booked the hotel three days earlier so it was not as if they had held a room that they could have otherwise booked. In fact they had 3 other rooms still left on their site. They staff was rude and impatient, and the manger even laughed at us on the phone. As for unethical, they had sent me and email a few days before the reservation saying they (the hotel) had cancelled my reservation but we still owed them the full amount. I guess that was a big red flag that I missed. I have never heard of a hotel keeping the money for the whole stay, and especially for parking as well.

Restaurant views are wonderful, the location is good especially if you have a scooter you can easily explore around, plus they have a free guest scooter parking. The interior design is cute and pleasant. We didn't use the pool because it was a bit cold but I am sure it is nice during the summer.

Very small and inconvenient room with a tiny window and a cramped bathroom. The on-site restaurant is overpriced for what it offers - our pasta was undercooked, and service at dinner was inattentive; no one checked on us once. Breakfast was just average and seemed designed without much consideration for international guests. The only thing I enjoyed was the lemon pie...it was delicious but it is not the same every day. Overall, we paid over NZD 700 per night and can’t justify the cost given the experience. Not the resort’s fault but the taxi to the next hotel was €130 (just 30 minutes drive). Try water taxi instead we couldn't take it as the weather was not allowing us but it was much more reasonable pricing compared to taxi fees.

The food in general was just ok or ill prepared. However, the fresh bread in the morning was the very best bread I have ever had in my life.

Most of the staff was very friendly. Right on the water and beautiful pool. On the other hand you are very far from the square, my room and a lot of ants, and the tv did not work at all.

המיקום על קו החוף היה משוגע, כשהגענו הודיעו לנו ששידרגו אותנו לסוויטה הפנורמית זה לגמרי אחד החדרים הכי יפים ששהינו בהם. צוות המלון היה מדהים האוכל היה מעולה ויש ייציאה לחוף עם איזור פרטי של המלון זה היה חלומי. למי שמתלבט אם להגיע פשוט ממליץ לא לדלג גם אם זה ללילה אחד.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! Fabulous view, delicious food, amazing staff and lovely rooms truly make this hotel very special.

Driving into this hotel was no easy task as it is located on the side of a cliff but well worth the effort once we arrived. We had 2 rooms one of which was a single and very very small.

The staff are absolutely awesome. The facility is clean but my room had no AC for my entire stay. When I complained to the manager, she came up and pretended that she had it fixed, but nothing happened. I couldn’t sleep for my entire stay there due to the high temperature. It was absolutely miserable for nearly $1000 per night. Everything else was ok. Just the lack of AC is a problem. It absolutely destroyed our vacation there

Location is outstanding

Emplacement proche de la mer, bien aménagé au niveau de l'accès, avec transats et piscine/jacuzzi. A proximité à pied des lieux à visiter et s'y rendre gratuitement avec leurs navettes. Petit déjeuner très bon et complet. Leur restaurant est également très bon pour un repas du soir en bord de mer.

Le prix de 25 euros par jour pour la voiture, mais il y a bien plus cher dans la région.

La spiaggia a portata di mano è il motivo per il quale abbiamo prenotato questa struttura. Il servizio navetta gratuito che l’albergo offre per alcune località limitrofe è un benefit non trascurabile. Abbiamo cenato una sera presso il loro ristorante con prezzi un po’ sopra le righe, ma abbiamo mangiato bene.

La stanza vista cortile non era vista cortile, ma vista scale. Attenzione, non sto criticando il costo elevato della camera, ne eravamo perfettamente coscienti! Specificare con esattezza le condizioni della camera, però, ci avrebbe consentito di scegliere una vista mare laddove il cortile è inesistente.

The two bed apartment is slightly further away from the hotel than expected and a fairly dangerous walk along a very busy, narrow winding road.

We stayed in lemon apartment and it was simply amazing. EVERY employee here went above and beyond... AMAZING customer service and very convenient. Food was fairly priced and high quality. My kids LOVED the fries calling them the best in the world. Burger was yum... pizza was well done although my kids didn't love pesto on top. Staff was among best on trip.

Upon arrival, the staff was very nice and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the room we were initially given—a Comfort Sea View—was extremely small, humid, and did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. The sheets, pillows, towels—even the air in the room—were damp. I immediately called the front desk to report the humidity, and while the hotel manager offered to change the sheets and bring a fan, that was the extent of the solution. When I asked if we could move to another room, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no further accommodations could be made. We had no choice but to spend the night in that room, and it was incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom layout added to the discomfort—the shower was awkwardly placed right next to the sink, making it difficult to get in and out. The next day, after breakfast, I raised the issue again and thankfully, Sandra was kind and proactive in finding us another room. The new room (just next door) was slightly larger and had a more functional, comfortable bathroom—thankfully, a big improvement. We stayed a total of five nights. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff truly stood out: Sandra, Francesco, Caterina, the lovely ladies at breakfast, and the housekeeper were all incredibly kind, polite, and warm. They greeted us with a smile and kind words every day, and their hospitality did not go unnoticed. We were also very impressed with the front desk staff, who were extremely proactive in helping us schedule tours, transfers, and transportation each time we asked. They made navigating the area much easier and were always quick to assist with any logistics we needed. While my husband and I really appreciated the staff, the stunning views, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the overall upkeep of the property, we were disappointed with the room size and presentation. We did not feel the price reflected the value we received, especially given the issues with the first room. For a hotel that markets itself as a 4-star property, we expected a more consistent standard in the rooms offered.

La situation. L’accès à la mer. Baignade depuis l’hôtel de haute qualité pour les aqueux qui ne craignent pas les côtes rocheuses. Cadre naturel exceptionnel. Eau cristalline et poissonneuse avec une chute d’eau de source montagneuse à proximité. Le petit déjeuner royal. Personnel aux petits soins. Service valets pour l’auto. Qu’est ce que je n’ai pas aimé ?

Le prix prohibitif. Dépassant les cinq étoiles. Probablement lié à une demande importante. Mais quand même.
