Nothing around the property just buildings
The food was consistently good. I liked the arcade. The bartenders were competent.
20 euro fee was deducted from my 50 euro damage deposit for a beach towel. Too many little kids and their parents screaming everywhere. How about make one pool for adults only? I didn’t feel welcome.
Ruime kamer, uitgebreid buffet. Wed netjes schoon gemaakt. Leuke game hal.
Área do lazer.

The are the best! Best food best service I would recommend everybody. Love the paella
Been here a few times and always a goof experience. Waaaay too many loud kids though, so be prepared, but thats not a hotels fault.
Just back from 10 nights. We got room 289 right in the corner facing the back over 18s end with trees right outside our balcony. At first we thought we always get a bad room but tbf we where glad of it as it was quiet and we where able to leave our balcony door open all the time. Rooms were very spacious beds so comfy but pillows where just too high for us. Only 1 English channel on tv(luckily movies) i know most people dont go to watch TV but my hubby enjoys a midday lie down with tv. Food was great no complaints. Drink was usual, good beer but cocktails out of machine so need extra liquor. Main pool with entertainment, never able to get a bed as not a lot of beds and all gone really early. Night entertainment hit and miss, mostly good as all inclusive goes but over way too early (10.20pm) bar closed at 11.30pm. Upstairs bar open to 1am but payable. Location good, bars just round the corner. Lovely irish bar mulligans, great food. Don't expect cheap booze or food anywhere, gran canaria mostly same price as Belfast. Definitelygo to see show sala scala, sioux city and go into puerto rico, about 25 min bus journey but worth a visit as shopping great.
We had a wonderful stay at Abora Buenaventura. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment for both adults and children, so there is always something fun to do. The food was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and delicious dishes every day. There was plenty of choice, and everyone could easily find something they enjoyed. The biggest highlight was the professional, friendly, and helpful staff. They were always smiling, attentive, and willing to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Abora Buenaventura to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with great facilities, fantastic food, and outstanding service. We would be happy to come back
Amplio! Y limpio

La temática de las comidas. Muy parecidas los días que estuvimos alojados.
We recently stayed here for two weeks at the start of the school summer holidays. The Good: The hotel is massive and boasts great facilities, including two main pools, a couple of kids' pools, and a fantastic splash zone. There are plenty of bars, a play area, and a few reasonably priced on-site shops. The kids' club staff were absolutely brilliant, kids can have breakfast with the mascot, Panchi, which happens twice a week. The Bad: Unfortunately, the service was highly inconsistent. Many staff members in the shop, reception, and dining areas were quite abrupt, though there were a few lovely exceptions in the main restaurant a d kids clubs. It definitely felt like the hotel was short-staffed. Housekeeping was also a letdown. The cleaners seemed rushed, effectively only changing the towels rather than actually cleaning. We kept the room tidy ourselves, but the floors weren't properly cleaned, and our bedding wasn't changed once during our entire two-week stay. Furthermore, we noticed some favoritism, with Spanish guests who were not all inclusive frequently receiving free drinks while other nationalities were charged. As half-board guests, we were also frustrated to be charged completely different prices each time we ordered milk for the kids. Hygiene & Wildlife: The hotel grounds have several resident cats that the hotel feed. While this might seem nice, the cats frequently wander into the indoor and outdoor dining areas. Because they are effectively wild animals, they hunt on the property; we unfortunately came across a few dead birds left around the children's play areas, which is a bit of a health and safety concern for families. Entertainment & Dining: The entertainment was hit-and-miss. The kids' disco runs five nights a week, but the mascot only showed up three times, which disappointed the kids since it’s heavily advertised. As for the food, it became very repetitive. The children's options were incredibly poor, and even as a fish lover, I struggled with the selection. Popular items ran out quickly and were rarely replenished. Facilities & Location: The advertised launderette is just two washers and a dryer hidden away, costing €5 to wash and €4 to dry. There is a free beach bus, but it gets so crowded that it turns into a battle to get on; if you don't want to fight for a space, you'll have to walk a mile (which takes a while with kids) or pay for a taxi. Summary: The hotel is a bit dated in areas and needs some TLC. It has the potential to be really good, but management seriously needs to focus on basic service, staffing levels, and hygiene standards.
Food was plentiful and varied - exceptional cleanliness - the hotel is very noisy and geared for families however the children’s pools miss out on the bulk of entertainment as it all takes place at the other pool. The rooms are well equipped comfortable beds and pillows and air con is good. The balconies are good but have large spaces that I wouldn’t advise for young children. There are plenty of lifts available and everything appears to be disability friendly. All in all it’s ok - but if you want a peaceful relaxing time this is not the hotel for you.
We stayed at the hotel for one week in June with family and overall had a really good stay. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of space and no issues getting sunloungers, which is always a bonus. The food was acceptable — it didn’t particularly wow me, but it was fine and there was plenty of choice. The restaurant itself is huge and very open-plan, but it is also very loud and noisy. Thankfully, there is an outside terrace, which was much quieter and made meals far more enjoyable. The drinks machines in the restaurant were a bit hit and miss, and didn’t always seem to be working. I think this may have been linked to the setup for non-all-inclusive guests, but either way it could probably be improved. A special mention has to go to the lifeguard — the gentleman who wears a hat and long sleeves/leggings to protect himself from the sun. He was an absolute saviour. My partner was doing handstands in the pool and unfortunately his shoulder came out. The lifeguard knew exactly what to do, acted quickly and calmly, and managed to put it back in place, saving us from what would no doubt have been an entire day spent at the hospital. We honestly couldn’t thank him enough. The rooms were good, although it is worth noting that the hotel is massive. Depending on which building you are allocated, there can be quite a bit of walking involved to get to and from your room. Overall, I would definitely stay again. It is good value for money, large enough to enjoy without feeling overcrowded, and there is plenty of space throughout the resort. A few small improvements could be made, but overall it was a top-notch stay.
The room was lovely and so much room
The ac didn't work all the time.
Habitacion
Q hubiesen abejas.
En general, todo aconsejo reservar este hotel.
No tengo quejas de nada.
Todo
Menos variedad de comida
The location was perfect, I did pay for a pool view and the view was beautiful. Our rooms were cleaned and tidied to a high standard daily. The staff who cleaned our rooms were so polite and greeted us whenever we walked past. The hotel is based in the perfect location with a short walk to the Beach and shops, there is also shops, a gym and a salon on site which is brilliant! The noise level was perfect. Music around one of the pools during the day, music and entertainment on the evening for adults and children. The service we have received has been brilliant from start to finish. This is our second time stopping in Abora Buenaventura and we were welcomed back like it was home, the lady at the desk was brilliant. This shows to us the staff value returning customers. When we have had any questions the staff at the reception were polite and welcoming. Their English has been great and they’ve been more than happy to help. When going to the restaurant, we were greeted by Eva who was really polite and friendly. Such a lovely lady with a welcoming presence. The staff in the restaurant are quick and efficient at clearing tables off, they are polite and walk around with really beautiful smiles, often talking to us about the England matches. Thank you Abora Buenaventura! Everyone’s hard work does not go unnoticed. It’s been a pleasure.
Hotel was ok, clean enough however our bedding was never changed just made. There was a cockroach in the hotel lobby on our leaving date. Food was varied however didn't change much so by the end of our week it was extremely repetitive. The soda machine was always closed off at evening meal so we had to queue up at the small bar in the restaurant every night just to get a Pepsi which was frustrating. My 2 year old caught a virus from the pool which ended up in us going to the hospital to get medication. We found the children's pool to be very small and far away from the actual hotel. Overall the hotel was nice just a very bad layout. Our room meant we needed 2 different lifts to take us from our room to the restaurant which having 2 young kids was a bit of a pain. The location was good and there were a lot of taxis about. It was nice to have the market just down the road on a Wednesday and Saturday. Entertainment team were good and staff were friendly. Overall an ok stay but won't be returning.

Just finished our 2nd holiday here in consecutive years, and we’ve had a lovely time on both occasions. We’ve even booked for next year! Lovely members of evening bar staff including Yudith & Kathleen, as well as all staff at pool bar. Our daughter attended kids club every day and was well looked after & entertained by Sophie, Janina & friends. Can’t wait for next year!!
The food- although there’s a huge variety. We unfortunately found the quality quite poor overall. The rooms - clean enough, not quite to my expectations for a 4 star hotel. Quite basic, beds aren’t very comfortable. We booked a family room which is meant to come with a selection of games, a mascot toy and a play tent. It came with ONE abacus (wouldn’t class that as a game?), a pop up play tent and after complaining we had no mascot toy, we were given a very cheaply made drawstring bag with the mascot printed on it. So if you’re going with children and booking the family room expecting a selection of games or a games basket, lower them as you only get a pop up tent and an abacus. The playground was closed our entire visit (10 days) and wasn’t ever told to us upon arrival, so a main facility we were hoping to have was closed off. I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone as I wasn’t overly impressed. I think their 4 star rating should probably be lowered to a 3. We had an incident at the pool where the umbrella broke apart and splintered hitting my partner (thank god it wasn’t our 4 year old) the staff didn’t seem too bothered by this when I took the broken wood to reception and no one came over after to check even though I was assured maintenance would be over to sort this. I’ve complained and had a blanket email sent apologising but no real response to what I’ve said and felt quite blunt. The location is quite good, a short walk to the beach, and good restaurants as well as taxis readily available to take you to wherever you need to go. We spent quite a lot of time away from the resort due to all of this to be honest.
Our stay at the hotel was quite mixed. Unfortunately, my partner was served raw chicken, which was a serious concern. When we reported it, the staff said they had checked the rest of the chicken from the same batch and found no issues, but this did little to reassure us after the experience. The food in general was disappointing, with very limited options available throughout our stay. Housekeeping was also lacking, as our bed linen was never changed. On a more positive note, the pool area was clean and well maintained. There was an issue with guests reserving sun loungers for long periods by leaving towels on them, but staff did step in and remove unattended towels, which helped make the loungers available to others. The staff were generally lovely and polite, and most interactions with them were pleasant. However, the issues with food quality and housekeeping meant that overall the experience did not meet expectations.
Location in Playa del Ingles had good transport links to many destinations and large market on Wednesday/Saturdays with a lot of local bars. Room was very clean and regularly cleaned with big balcony even if not a lot of sun reaches it still nice to have although beds separate with no locking mechanism so they don’t move. Relatively quiet at the time we visited and sun beds easy to get without rushing. Service was good but very very eager to take away plates and drinks even if clearly not finished 😂 Food was on the whole great with some really tasty options, could be a tad fish orientated at times and lack of desert options but pleased with it 95% of the time. Absolutely pile alcohol into mixed drinks so good value on that front. The only negative was the reception service. Major lack of communication and detail on check in such as towel hire and check out procedures and big queues whenever needed even if not busy hotel at the time. However, does not take away from the fact we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend.
Excellent value, room size, quality and amenities. Booked a cheap and cheerful getaway that turned out to be a brilliant find.. staff are really helpful. Lots of food to choose from and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The room size is great, entertainment in the pool and evening is really good.fantastic value for money. Lots of local restaurants and bars for great food for a change from the all inclusive option.

Holiday was really nice, good localisation, many taxis from the entrance, Dinners are interesting, lots to choice Staff was friendly
Everyday same breakfast , nothing speciall, eggscramb was very bad! Fruits are good but monotony, sholud be more choices Long way from the lift to room
Good morning everyone. We have just returned from a 11 night stay at the Abora Buenaventura. There was myself and my husband on holiday with our two grown up sons and their partners. The hotel is brilliant for both families and just adults too . It is a very large hotel with 2 pools on either side of the hotel with a number of smaller pools for children , plenty of sun beds, absolutely no problem at all getting a bed . There is also a splash park and play area too for children . Lovely grounds with plenty of sunny and shady areas . There is also 2 shops , 2 arcades and a hairdresser on site . The restaurant is lovely as well , plenty of choice and variety. There is also a snack bar opened from 11am till 11pm every day , also plenty of bars to get a drink , hot, cold , soft and alcoholic drinks available The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds , plenty of wardrobe space and massive showers, maid service every day with clean towels left each day and beds made each day . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The entertainment programme is very good, something going on at the pool all day and the evening entertainment is very good for children, as we are all adults we tended to use the bar behind reception, there was a singer in the bar most evenings which was excellent . This hotel is fantastic for both adults and family holidays . All in all a brilliant hotel for everyone .
We recently stayed at Boro Buenaventura as a family group and had a mixed experience overall. One thing that disappointed us was that all of the couples in our group received tea and coffee facilities along with complimentary goodies in their rooms, while our family room received none of these extras. It felt unfair and left us feeling overlooked compared to the other guests in our party. The evening entertainment was also quite limited. On one night it consisted of a game of bingo, and most evenings the entertainment finished by around 10pm. The hotel bar was advertised as being open until midnight, but on most nights it was closing around 11pm, which was frustrating for guests who wanted to relax and enjoy a drink later in the evening. We were also disappointed to hear other guests complaining about our two-year-old using a potty, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. That said, there were plenty of positives. The daytime entertainment around the pool was excellent, with lots of activities and something going on throughout the day. The food was great, with a wide variety of choices available at every meal, and there was always something for everyone. The excursions offered were really good and well organised, and the hotel’s location is excellent, being close to shops, bars and other local amenities. Overall, the hotel has some strong points, particularly the food, daytime activities, excursions and location, but improvements are needed in the evening entertainment, bar opening hours and consistency of room amenities.
We have just returned from an amazing week at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is massive. If you have mobility issues or don't like walking, I would recommend requesting a room near the main complex when booking. We were on the 6th floor, right out of the way, which turned out to be a blessing as it was very peaceful. I couldn't quite justify giving this hotel 5 stars, mainly because the evening entertainment was poor and the food was below par. However, despite these shortcomings, it was still an amazing holiday. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis and, as with many Spanish resorts, local spirits, beers, and wines were included, while premium brands were available at an extra charge. There was never any issue getting a sunbed. However, if you wanted one of the premium loungers by the pool, you needed to get up early as some guests would queue to reserve them with their towels. Towards the end of our holiday, though, the hotel team started clamping down on this and removed towels from loungers that had been left unattended for several hours. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile and a cheerful "Hola". The rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, and the accommodation was modern and well-maintained. I was really impressed with the quality of the rooms. The pool area was clean, and there was no smoking around the pool or throughout most of the hotel grounds. Designated smoking areas were provided for those who wished to smoke. Overall, a brilliant hotel and a brilliant holiday.
Location is great with transfers. Atmosphere is great the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very clean and the app is a great way to give you more control over when and what you need doing. Value for me wasn’t an issue but my partner had a different experience as he hated the food and the beer. I didn’t mind the drink but upgrade to all inclusive plus. I wish we had done. Noise level was fine. They keep the families away from the entertainment area of the hotel but having a room next to the entertainment area. Wasn’t an issues for me. The food and its variety, to me and mostly my partner wasn’t the best. Soft drinks fine. Lots to choose from. Alcohol was nice choices, but upgrade to all inclusive plus if you can. 24/7 bar was great. But would be nice to have bottled water in room for brushing teeth and kettle water. Free bus to the beach is great. Bus times fitted all over the hotel and lifts. Taxis not badly priced and plenty available in busy areas. The staff whilst in the dining area. Very clean and efficient. I’d say they was on point, collecting empty glass and dirty plates. Very helpful and polite. Bars and reception very welcoming and cleaners are great.
Absolutely amazing service and a bunch of fun and caring bartenders and staff
We had the best time here. Plenty to do, brilliant location, brilliant hotel and brilliant friendly helpful staff. Analiet was very kind and helpful! Would definitely recommend
Absolutely amazing staff and hotel could not fault it one bit. Very clean and always tidy, staff always say hello and answer all your questions. Food and entertainment Absolutely spot on! They did amazing well done to the cooks and servers. Always clean and tidy rooms toilets immaculate. Only thing I can say was the air con wasn't very good and beds were abit hard but didnt stop the holiday! Would a million percent come back here, well done to every one of this hotels staff members 👏
Absolutely amazing staff, I couldn’t fault anything apart from the Aircon not working when we got here but they fixed it straight away food is lovely
Todo
La cama separa y aparte era incómoda
We have returned for a 10 night stay at this hotel which was appalling from start to finish. Im saying this from a family who is easy going, and just expects what they pay for. For starters the food was awful. Kids buffet was disgrace it consisted of 3 items chips, pastas and something else. One day it was jalapeño bites. How is that a child friendly item. There was no freshly made omelette or crepes like we normally expect from a 4 star all inclusive. The food was repetitive and they would put fresh food on top on old food. My son got refused broccoli because it was for the specialty plates. I could go on but let's move on. Next the pool area was run down and not kept well. The pools was dirty and gritty. I never saw it get cleaned every hotel I've been too, I've seen the pool getting cleaned in a morning. Jet2 categorised this hotel as a family favourite but theres no favourite about it, no baby changing facilities? We booked this hotel for the playground and it wasnt open, no courtesy email to inform us of this matter, it was just tapped off with no message board or any update. No work got done to open this during our stay because they frankly dont care about the upkeep. We paid for premium all inclusive and there was nothing premium about it. Only included cocktails and bottled beer, wasnt even any apple juice for the kids. Moving onto the main issue, the room was unclean and unhygienic. The bedding was not changed, the maids came in to make the bed, what's to point. The floors was dirty never mopped or swept. The side never got wiped and cups didnt get moved for 5 days. There was glass on the floor behind the door which I noticed after arrived and it never got cleaned just left which could have caused harm. The decor was sloppy there was paint on the tiles. Jet2 support was terrible. No support or solution. They said we would get a deep clean every day but didn't. Weve stayed in nicer 3 stars in the past. Definitely not a 4 star. Worst hotel weve stayed in, believe the bad reviews idk why its highly rated on trip advisor. Photos taken after "deep clean"
Overall, our stay at this hotel was pleasant and enjoyable. The first impression was very positive. We were warmly welcomed at reception by Natalia, who was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Employees like her create an excellent first impression and make guests feel welcome from the very beginning. I would also like to highlight the food. The meals were delicious, fresh, and varied, with a good selection available every day. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and most of the staff were polite and friendly. However, there were a few issues that negatively affected our experience. Shortly after we checked into our room, a staff member responsible for the safes came to show us how to set a password. We immediately explained that we do not use hotel safes and that we did not need this service. His reaction was unexpectedly negative, and he began calling the reception desk and insisting that we use the safe. A receptionist then also tried to persuade us to accept the service despite our refusal. Later, we discovered that this was a paid service that we had never requested and did not need. Fortunately, Natalia resolved the issue quickly the following day, for which we are very grateful. Another area that requires attention is the condition of the room linens. There were stains on the bed sheets, and some pillowcases had holes in them. For several days, I left them in a clearly visible place for housekeeping, hoping they would be replaced, but nothing was done. The towels were also in very poor condition and clearly worn out from long-term use. They are in urgent need of replacement, as their condition does not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this level. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel left a generally positive impression thanks to its good food, cleanliness, pleasant atmosphere, and the professionalism of most of the staff. Special thanks to Natalia for her excellent customer service and for resolving our issue promptly. Overall rating: 7/10.
