L’accueil , l’emplacement par rapport à l mer , aux commerces, McDo juste en face , en pleine ville , établissement très propre et luxueux à l’intérieur ! Les chambres au top et toujours entretenu par les femme de chambres merci 🙏🏾 ! Le petit déjeuner de qualité.! L’équipe en cuisine et le service son au taquet et au top . une propreté et un suivi propreté autour de la piscine et transats tout au long de la journée ! Plein d’activités et de jeux par un personnel bien veillants ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour … le rdv est déjà pris pour l’Anne prochaine ! Merci à toute l’équipe de Vila galet

Breakfast was really really good. They had a lot to choose from and they also had a chef there at the counter cooking fresh omelette or even an egg benedict if you liked. Lots of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices and also fresh multivitamin juice which I thought it was really nice. Plenty of clean cups oh and they also had ice too! And the desserts were yummy.... Fresh pancakes with nutella were insane... Pastel De Nata's went down really well for breakfast too haha! It was 10/10 for me! The staff was really nice and welcoming, they all had great English too. I got to use the spa area downstairs also and got a full body massage done with Michelle, she was so sweet and an amazing beauty therapist.

The only thing that I didn't like was the view from my balcony but that's my own fault because I didn't choose to pay for a pool view lol.

Hotel antigo, os funcionários carecem de mais treinamento, encontramos baratas no quarto, sanitário com vazamento de água (o que sugere pouca manutenção), sem salva-vidas na piscina, atividades de que envolvem música alta até às 23hs. Não vale a pena.

Não tenho reparos a fazer mas já agora aproveito para dizer que os serviços de entretenimento nomeadamente a sala onde está o bilhar o mesmo poderia estar disponível ao hospede e em melhor estado o que seria uma forma de manter o cliente nas instalações e por sua vez convidava ao consumo.

Me gustó mucho el trato con el personal del buffet. Muy amables, sobre todo una chica que se llama Ana y que está en recepción del buffet en la cena. Se portó estupendamente conmigo, ya que me sentí bastante mal uno de los días durante mi estancia y no pude comer de nada y me pidió dos yogures naturales sin problema alguno para cenar. Solo me pude comer medio pero se lo agradecí muchísimo y nos informó de todo lo que hacer por si me sentía peor. La piscina me ha encantado, no estaba tan masificada como en otros hoteles. Respecto al desayuno y cena, están bien pero podrían incluir algo más de variedad.

No podría decir que algo no me gustó porque lo he visto bastante bien respecto a calidad - precio. Es un hotel que está bien ubicado y que tiene paradas de autobuses, taxis y trenecito prácticamente en la puerta.

The pool, outdoor space and large indoor bar were amazing. Proximity to the old town was a bonus and just a 10 min walk.

While the staff was always friendly, the afternoon pool bar was slow which may have been due to short staffing. Another person working at the bar and kitchen would be helpful.

The facility was outdated and lacked a good flow. Getting a towel for the pool was like a treasure hunt. The breakfast buffet felt like a test in a survival show. The spa could easily be improved with a few minor changes.

Nous avons en parti reserve cette chaine d’hotel pour l’animation pour nos enfants et pour les adultes. L’an dernier nous sommes partis a vila gale Ericeira l’animation etait geniale. Cette année a Cerro Alagoa Albufeira l’animation valait un zero sur 10. Les animatrices etaient sur leurs telephones dans la cabane des enfants : Mardi, mercredi jeudi vendredi samedi … Le planning des animations n etait pas respecté mes enfants sont decus et nous aussi vu le prix de la semaine !!! Le chateau gonflable etait bien gonfle tous les jours le reste inexistant … L’activité pizza a duré 10 minutes et a ete effectuée par le personnel du restaurant c est trop trop dommage !!!

We had an amazing experience at this hotel and most of that was down to the amazing, helpful staff, especially Sammy. Sammy couldn't do enough for us. When we realised our room didn't have a balcony we asked would it be okay to move to another room, thinking it might be an issue. But Sammy was so helpful and made it happen straight away. The pool and bar at the pool were also amazing and the pool is huge. We also got massages at the spa which were so relaxing and lovely. we had the best time ever!

The only thing that could have been a small bit better would be the food for breakfast. It was lovely but I would have liked more bread options and maybe some more meat options. However, there was still an amazing selection and what was offered was gorgeous and so tasty!

El spa no lo usamos habia que llevar gorro y 4 euros y sólo para un dia ya que estuvimos 2 noches. Los precios de la bebida super caros. Es un hotel más para el turista. Bañera muy alta y aunque estaba limpio un poco antiguo... Asin que los huéspedes compraban comida y bebida y se las llevaban al hotel. En la piscina. las papeleras llenas de latas.de no vaciarla en todo el dia Una cerveza y una coca cola de tanqueta 10€ un café 3.25€

Hall e reception accoglienti. Piscina e spazi esterni puliti e ordinati, così come il ristorante. Posizione a 10 minuti dalle spiagge e dal centro. Comoda la presenza di un centro commerciale accanto all’hotel.

Unica pecca le camere. Potrebbero essere pulite con più cura. Inoltre il terzo letto è più una brandina che un letto.

We spent 10 brilliant nights at this hotel and couldnt fault the place one bit, the rooms are great and even the rooms facing the road are quiet, not been on a holiday where you didnt need to reserve sunbeds as there was plenty to go round The pool bar is great and food was excellant Location is perfect for the old town Will definitly return as albufeira is our fave place, all in all its worth 5 star review as had not faults at all

Hotel alright stayed here for a week - tourist train right outside to get but expect bumpy ride - download Bolt and book taxi much cheaper. McDonald’s and kfc across road however Netkafe beside it is great . Never used indoor swimming pool. Outside pool good size - some staff excellent however there are some that need to smile more. Air conditioning in room good - avoid minibar in room jumped up prices. Breakfast ok but if looking for good bacon and sausages keep looking as not good - bar needs work as not utilzed due to having no atmosphere and entertainment needs revamp as people avoided the entertainment.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It is in a great location, with lots of amenities around it, but quiet. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and a free safe, fridge and coffee making facilities. I slept extremely well with no disturbances, as you could not hear other guests and the corridors were carpeted. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout. The food was of a high quality with plenty of choice, all at the correct temperature. Servers made fresh salads of your choice and were cooking meat and fish in front of you. The fresh water pool was great. Staff organised fun activities for both kids and adults. There was a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere and people did not race down for sunbeds first thing in the morning as I have experienced in Spain and Tenerife. There were always sunbeds available. All the staff were great. I would happily return to this hotel as a single traveller. 10 minute walk down to the beach or the old town if you want something livelier.

on arrival , room nor available until 3pm ,luggage area unsecure ,room had 6 hangers, eventually got more after 3 requests , bathroom toilet seat loose 3 days to fix , overflows and bath dirty ;breakfast in restaurant abysmal poor choice and barely warm.loads of stag/hen do,s we were in middle of 2 sets of girls coming in 4am then talking until 6am , po0l area constant ghetto blasting music, a certain supervisor needs to be trained in people skills, overall staff dont seem to want to be there DEFINITELY not 4*

I booked the hydrating facial. It was very relaxing. Included neck, shoulder and gentle foot massage. Michelle was lovely and very good . I enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend treating yourself to one .

Hotel Boa estrutura, boa localização, bom pequeno almoço, Wi-Fi funcionou bem.

Tenho duas observações, sendo uma delas bastante preocupante. A primeira não conte com informações turísticas. Solicitei opções de passeios e orientação, não há nenhuma e a recepção não está disposta a ajudar nisso. A outra, foi que Durante todos os dias da estadia, reparei que havia um grupo de homens a consumir bebidas alcoólicas na área da piscina. Entendo que os hóspedes tenham o direito de desfrutar das suas férias, mas acredito que esta área deva ter alguma supervisão para garantir a segurança de todos. O que mais me preocupou foi uma situação em que um desses homens, aparentemente alcoolizado, chegou à piscina e saltou para a água sem olhar. Por muito pouco não caiu em cima do meu filho. Eu estava a observar a cena e vi exatamente o que aconteceu. Tratava-se de um homem de grande porte, o que poderia ter causado um acidente muito grave. Dirigi-me imediatamente à receção para comunicar o sucedido. O colaborador informou-me que iria verificar a situação, mas, na prática, nada foi feito e o grupo permaneceu na piscina sem qualquer intervenção. O hotel dispõe de muitos colaboradores para diversas áreas, como atendimento, recreação infantil e para adultos, massagens, entre outros. No entanto, chamou-me a atenção o facto de não existir qualquer funcionário responsável pela supervisão da piscina. A minha sugestão não é restringir a utilização do espaço, mas sim que existam regras claras e, sobretudo, uma pessoa responsável pela área da piscina para prevenir acidentes e atuar quando necessário. A presença de um colaborador faria uma grande diferença para a segurança e tranquilidade das famílias.

Spent a very enjoyable week from the end of May at this hotel with my wife . The hotel is really nice. Worthy of the 4* rating. Our room, 440, Was on the fourth floor and had everything we wanted. I requested a pool view and that was excellent. Everything in the room worked fine. The main things for us were the air-conditioning and shower and they all worked well. I’ve read a few reports on here of some beds being really uncomfortable, ours, two single beds pushed together, were perfectly comfortable. I’ve also read reports people commenting on how the decor is dated. Well my wife did slightly agree with this but, for me, everything was clean and worked and we were very comfortable. One thing we do like is a kettle in the room and, whilst initially we only had a coffee machine, a quick request to Reception and very quickly we had our kettle. In fact our room had an unexpected bonus in the form of a small kitchenette so we could have cooked had we chosen. (We didnt). The bathroom was fine. The shower worked and the only improvement here might have been a walk-in shower. A complimentary bottle of water was left just for day one. There was a good size TV in the room but the only English channel was BBC News. I'm sure nobody goes abroad to watch TV but we like to have it on whilst getting ready for breakfast/dinner so it was disappointing to not have at least the basic English channels (BBC1 and ITV). The Hotel is very well situated with an array of shops and restaurants just a few minutes outside from the front of the hotel. There were fast food restaurants including McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, and Pizza Hut but we didn’t actually visit any of these because we were half board and ate in the hotel every evening. The Beach is about a 10 minute downhill walk away but obviously less fun walking back up the hill. We only went there after dinner one evening and it was very busy with people. More restaurants there too. There is a well stocked games room with a fussball table, a pool table and a snooker table amongst other things. Food. I always find commenting on the food a tricky subject. It does seem to us that the choice of available food seems to be reducing in the hotels that we have visited, over the past nine years. I would have to say that the selection at this hotel was good but not great. We have found more choice in a few hotels but, having said that, there was always something to eat and the thought of eating outside of the hotel was never a likely possibility. There was one live cooking station which in the mornings for breakfast would do omelettes and in the evening it was a pasta type bar one side and meats or fish the other. All were nice. In the dining room there was quite a reasonable sized seated section separated for an à la cart area but, in the week when we stayed, we only saw two people, eating in there for that entire week. As a suggestion, maybe the hotel could better use this space for a bigger selection of food. For instance many hotels we have stayed at do themed dining evenings eg Mexican or Chinese etc. Having slightly criticised the amount of choice of food available I have to balance that by saying that the quality of the food was excellent. The waiting staff were very good, very attentive and swift to clear your finish plates of food. Lifts. As stated, we were on the fourth floor, so we regularly used the lifts of which there were three and all three worked all week without fail. One small recommendation to the hotel would be that it might be nice to have, on the walls opposite the lift doors, the number of the floor that you have arrived on. The floor number is on a display inside the lift but sometimes it wasn’t always very visible and I certainly wasn’t the only one to get out at the wrong floor, so having the number of the floor visible as you exit the lift might be helpful to some. Swimming and sunbathing. There were never any problems getting sunbeds for the entire week that we stayed. The area surrounding the pool and sunbeds we found to be clean and tidy. The swimming pool was really nice. I do try and choose a nice big pool and this was pretty much perfect. The water was never too deep anywhere in the pool. I think no deeper than about 5 feet at any point. T`he water was cold initially but within two or three seconds instantly became refreshing in the hot sun. There was a lifeguard station but I can’t say we ever actually saw a lifeguard. There was aqua aerobics happening at one end of the pool most, if not all, days. There is a poolside café which did hot food and drinks and ice creams. A few minutes walk up the road from the front of the hotel were 2 large supermarkets, one was so big it was on 2 floors. There was also a very nice cake shop next to the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We cannot comment on the Entertainment as its not our thing. Overall, a very nice stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The cockroach infestation

The hotel is very well located, with lovely pool and lovely infrastructure! The animation girl Paula and Carol are a walking joy! They cheer up the crowd and bring a great energy to the guests! It’s a big a shame the shows now are all inside, if they were outside more people would join in! The staff from the bar and from the restaurant are terrible, excluding one or two that are very nice and helpful, in terms of service they leave a lot to be desired! And when their boss arrives… things get even worst! She starts shouting at them in the middle of the guests! It’s very unpleasant when you’re trying to enjoy your meal at peace! The guys from the bar should also learn to leave the safety of the counter and do some table service or at least clean a bit of the tables outside… they’re not that busy, they are just a bit lazy!

Gostei da limpeza , os funcionários simpaticos ,a piscina interior impecavel ,ginasio bem fornecido. A nivel do spa tambem impecavel , fizemos massagens e sao muito meiguinhas .Gostei do peq.almoco muito variedade e com qualidade.o quarto bem espaçoso.

A piscina exterior não tem vigilância e nao devia ser permitido jogos de bolas dentro da piscina , existe alturas q nao dá p estar dentro da piscina é só bolas a voar . Não existe animação exterior . O bar exterior da piscina tem uma organização pessima , dos 3 dias que tivemos o sistema sempre avariado ,era sempre fila muito tempo a espera . A animação do bar noturno também nao havia . O meu filho chegou a encontrar barata no wc perto do bar. No SPA o jacuzzi tinha no fundo muitas particulas de ferrugem. Eu paguei massagem completa ao corpo e a parte do abdómen nao fizeram ,e é uma parte do corpo que faz parte fazerem.

The toilets in the hotel room were stinky and had a strong smell of urine. Had to ask the cleaning lady to clean it twice but no change.

Our experience was terrible from the very beginning. We found cockroaches in the bathroom, which was extremely disappointing. There were endless queues at the bar because their system apparently wasn’t working. Even when they were serving drinks, the staff seemed to ignore us. I don’t want to assume it was because of our nationality or that they thought we couldn’t afford the drinks, but that’s honestly how we felt. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, and the shower water kept changing from hot to cold without warning, making it very uncomfortable. The outdoor pool was overcrowded, with many people playing with balls in the water, which made it unpleasant to use. We ended up using the indoor pool instead, which was much better. The staff were generally rude and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. In the restaurant, they treated us as if we were stupid, which made the experience even worse. The only positive aspects of our stay were the spa massage, which was very good, and the indoor pool, which we really enjoyed.

My wife booked this hotel as a surprise for my 50th birthday. We paid around £2,000 for an 8-night stay in a Junior Suite with a pool view. What we actually got was a tired, dirty room overlooking the roadside. Not quite the birthday surprise we'd imagined! We lasted one night out of eight before deciding life was too short. We packed our bags, paid for another hotel ourselves in Vilamoura and never looked back. The room was filthy. There were dirty walls, paint splatters everywhere, stained curtains, damaged furniture, cobwebs, marks throughout the room and even the toilet roll looked damp and unusable. The attached photos speak for themselves. I genuinely cannot understand how this hotel is classed as 4 stars. The hotel was also full of large groups, including stag parties, creating a noisy atmosphere that was the complete opposite of the relaxing holiday we had booked. Loud music carried on into the evening. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, but most of the hot food was only lukewarm. When we complained, we were offered an alternative room. We were later told the manager had tried to call us, but both room phones were beside us the entire time, no calls came through and nobody knocked on the door. That explanation simply doesn't add up. The only positive was that TUI kept communicating with us throughout. In the end, though, we solved the problem ourselves by paying to move hotels. Thankfully, we managed to save my 50th birthday by moving to another hotel in Vilamoura. Had we stayed here, it would have been a completely different story. Would I return? Only if I accidentally got on the wrong coach.

We stayed at the hotel with our 9 yesr old girl who had an amzing time with the animation staff, carolina and Paula. They were very interactive with my daughter and always had a smile on their face and happy to help.if we got stuck with anything in the hotel.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Zimmer hatte einen schönen Balkon, war ausreichend groß und man konnte in der Minibar auch eigene Getränke kühlen. Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Getränkepreise zu hoch (Bier 5,90), am Pool wurden schon von 08:00 Liegen belegt, sehr, sehr laut viele Engländer - meistens junge Erwachsene Männer. Nachmittags am Pool stehen Getränkebecher herum - die Gäste werden nicht darauf Aufmerksam gemacht diese wegzuräumen. Albufeira ist vollständig in englischer und holländischer Hand, extrem laut, kaum portugiesische Restaurants. Wer wie wir etwas Entspannung nach einer Rundreise sucht ist hier falsch - hätten wir auch wissen können also unser Fehler.

Our stay at this hotel was ruined by a serious security failure. During our stay, someone broke into our room and stole approximately €1,500 worth of belongings. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of concern shown by hotel management when we reported the incident. We expected some level of sympathy, assistance, or reassurance, but the manager was dismissive and showed little interest in helping us deal with what was a very distressing experience. We were shocked to discover that there is no CCTV coverage in the corridors, hallways, or even the reception area, making it extremely difficult to investigate incidents like this or provide guests with any sense of security. A hotel has a responsibility to provide a safe environment for its guests, and unfortunately, this hotel failed us badly. The theft itself was upsetting, but the poor response from management and the lack of basic security measures were what left the worst impression. We would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think carefully about the security arrangements and to keep valuables with them at all times. Sadly, based on our experience, we would not return.

旧市街ではなく街の外側にあることと、大きな駐車場がホテルの敷地内外にあり車でのアクセスが良い。そのため街には歩いて降りていく必要があるが、観光用電車に乗れば歩かなくても行ける。また、周りにスーパーやカフェもあり、買い物も便利。

We had a great experience at the spa. The area was calming and clean. My niece and I had Jessica and Katerina for full body 1hr massage. I needed a light touch and Katerina was perfect.

We were excited for the wine tasting experience but it needs improvement as there was no one explaining the wine we were drinking- it just needed more staff or one dedicated to the wine. Restaurant had a lot of choices but we also needed someone to talk through the different food stations on our first night. There was a hot counter and certain food was cooked in front of you for dinner & breakfast. All tasted fresh and lots to taste. Beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers. Easy walk to the old town.

Amazing pool both indoor and outdoor. The staff were really lovely. Breakfast was good.

What a fabulous hotel, we loved our stay. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The facilities were great especially the indoor pool. The outdoor pool was great. The whole hotel was extremely clean and breakfast was lovely. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. This hotel is within walking distance of the old town and 7 mins walk to the beach. Loads of great local restaurants as well just outside. A lovely cafe is just outside and a supermarket within 5 mins walk.

Lovely rooms and pool area. Plenty of sun loungers. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was ok but hot food not great. No iron in bedroom and had to pay to get some clothes pressed.

Lack of entertainment, cleaning was mostly late afternoon which was inconvenient, pool was very cold water, sun beds needed to be upgraded as a 4start hotel grade over all it was fine

As piscinas eram ótimas, tanto a interior como a exterior. O pequeno almoço era também ótimo com muita variedade. Os empregados eram muito atenciosos e educados, o quarto é muito limpo com uma ótima varanda, que no meu caso foi com vista piscina. A localização era excelente, a 2 minutos de uma ótima pastelaria (reviera), a 5 de um centro comercial pequeno mas com o essencial e a menos de 10 de um pingo doce. Sem falar de quem gosta de fast food tinha mesmo a frente do hotel. A 10 minutos a pé da melhor praia de Albufeira, com escada rolante

We stayed here for a week @vila gale Albufeira, And it’s our second time to stay, (2015 also) this time as a family. The suite we stayed was very clean and plenty of room, the staff were great and the girls (Carolina & Paula) were great with the kids. Very entertaining and so helpful. Looking forward to staying again.
