Gran hotel, buenas instalaciones, magnífica ubicación, buen desayuno. En general todo bien.

La limpieza en las habitaciones debe mejorar, la moqueta olía, los cristales estaban sucios, en general la limpieza podría estar mejor.

Das Gesamtpaket war sehr gut.

Ich hatte 3 Zimmer, bei einem Zimmer ging die Klimaanlage kaputt und es floß Wasser aus der Klimaanlage. Das Personal wurde informiert, danach ging es 2 Tage und dann wieder nicht. Zum Glück waren wir nicht lange im Zimmer.

Do quarto, não tinha varanda e o ar condicionado fazia muito barulho, do jantar temático estava muito vento era desagradável.

Location was great, right on the beach and facing the marina. Room was really spacious and comfortable, didnt use the kitchenette but great to have and we had a beautiful view of beach and marina.

Very dated and old fashioned hotel . Air-conditioning didn't work . Room smelled from air-conditioning . Breakfast time was like a cathal market no organisation. No tea or coffee facilities you have to request them

Quanto com janela minúscula virada para a piscina dos miúdos com ruído permanente. Refeições sem grande margem para escolha para o preço cobrado. Falta de vigilância nas piscinas, embora de adultos as crianças correm por toda a área e podem cair á água. Noites temáticas muito fracas, exemplo a noite de Portugal com animadores brasileiros de vestes folclóricas e música gravada para os hóspedes dançarem e pouco mais. Muito fraco. Dos mais fracos da rede vila gale onde ficamos.

Have stayed on numerous occasions and was pleased to see major improvements in the bar and restaurant areas.

Rooms facing the Marina are subject to noise disturbance from the nearby dance / music venue. Not too bad during the afternoon but at night it's a pain in the backside. We experienced this previously and asked to be moved but we were told the hotel was fully booked. I doubt that !!

Da boa energia de todo o staff de forma natural e sem forçarem simpatia. Fiquei em regime pequeno almoço, num dos dias decidimos jantar no hotel e fomos surpreendidos com a boa qualidade da comida. Tudo foi perfeito!

STAFF BRILLIANT ROOMS CLEAN POOL AREA LOVELY

IN MY OPINION HOTEL COULD DO WITH MODERNISING

Lovely hotel in a great location, the main issue is noise disturbance. We had a harbour facing room on the 10th floor and the music from other establishments is overwhelming. The beach club next door blasts out music from lunch time to 7pm every day, which meant we could not have a relaxing drink on the balcony. Then there is a night club just nearby that blasts out dance music till the early hours of the morning, it’s so loud we did not sleep well. From the ground the music doesn’t seem so bad, but on the 10th floor it carries. I’ve been to this hotel several times and never had a problem, I think the authorities need to sort out this noise nuisance. Not everyone is here to party every night until the early hours.

We have been using this hotel for our annual golf trip now for over 10 years. As always the staff were great and in particular Ines Alao. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Vilamoura.

The room and staff were excellent. The dining hall and buffet were above par. The food was great.

The hotel was extremely busy, so it felt a bit like a human zoo, especially at meal times in the dining hall. The pool area was also quite busy and the beach was not convenient to get to, even though it was close. Parking options were very poor. We paid to park at the adjacent casino, but it was a walk to the hotel entrance, so it wasn’t ideal. I didn’t love that the hotel was near several other large hotels in that it didn’t have the charm of a hotel that was in a town. It had more of a senior community feel, which may be appropriate for some. It was inundated by families with young children and multi-generational families, which would be ideal for some travelers, but not for my adult daughter and me. Also, it was a bit expensive for what we got.

Stayed at the Ampalius many times over the past 20 years ... Perfect location 2 mins to beach and 5 mins to Marina. Hotel very clean and staff friendly. We were left a beautiful fruit platter..wine and nata s as mentioned was in the industry which was very kind. Would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again for sure. Thank you

Excellent location right beside the beach. A 2-minute walk to the beach where there is a cafe and toilets, sun loungers and parasols (additional cost of approx €35 per day). Nice big rooms that are kept spotlessly clean throughout your stay. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with a huge selection to choose from. The freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh pastries are great. Staff are very attentive and constantly refilling everything and clearing tables. The pools are nice with plenty of sun beds available throughout the day so no rush to reserve them. The pool area is clean and safe. They gave us a birthday cake and bottle of wine during our stay but we hadn’t said it was my friend’s birthday so they noticed from the passports on check-in and arranged it - a really lovely gesture. Overall, a great hotel and I would stay here again.

Excellent place. Rooms at front overlooking beach. Air con works well. Very busy hotel. Breakfast varied food and tasty. Highly recommended!

Room (junior suite) was a great size and had a reasonably well-equipped kitchen. Staff were generally helpful and manager made a point of welcoming us on arrival. Breakfast was fine (especially appreciated the egg station for a made-to-order omelette!), if a bit of a scrum if you didn't avoid busy times - suppose this just goes with the territory.

Not within the control of the hotel, but we had moved from an apartment on the marina to avoid the noise at night (and early hours of the morning) and were slightly disappointed about the Puro beach club across the road from the hotel pumping out quite loud techno music for much of the day, though to be fair it only ever seemed to last until early evening. Didn't affect us to any great degree, but we thought it was a bit strange that the pool bar never seemed to be open at any time throughout our stay (in late June??!).

Great location, good facilities

The hotel is excellent value for money, ideally situated a moments walk away from the beach and close to the marina. The pool area is large, with plenty of room around both pools. The hotel is well maintained and spotless throughout, while the bedrooms are well sized and well equipped. The refurbishment to the bar and restaurant have really made a difference and all staff were friendly. Our hotel of choice when visiting Vilamoura.

Breakfast time can get a little hectic and overly busy.

Acho que precisa de alguma reformulação está desatualizado. Zona do pequeno almoço confusa. Falta creme do corpo no quarto.

La habitación, el gimnasio sin aire acondicionado y las máquinas sin engrasar, los ascensores rotos continuamente , las tostadoras del desayuno antiquísimas sin funcionar bien y las toallas de la piscina parecen papel de fumar y pequeñísimas.

Prima locatie, vlak aan het strand en op 5 minuten van de Marina. Omdat we beiden jarig waren en onze huwelijksverjaardag vierden (op voorhand door gegeven) kregen we een upgrade van de kamer alsook een flesje wijn op de kamer. Zeer attent.

Het hotel is dringend aan vernieuwing toe, vooral de badkamers. Hygiëne is zus en zo. Een dopje onder het bed lag er van dag van aankomst tot dag van vertrek. Het zand op de mat bleef ook liggen... Het ontbijt is héél eentonig, elke dag hetzelfde en ook weinig keuze van charcuterie. Bediening in het restaurant liep ook niet altijd vlot. Kortom, veel geld betaald voor een hotel dat beter zou kunnen.

Dirty balcony with bird crap over the rails. Not cleaned. Room 501 had no working air con. Told staff, they had been to look but not fixed.

Just returned from our 15th visit to this lovely hotel and was as good as ever ,lots of modifications since last year and a lot of new staff who were so friendly, again I would like to single out Patricia on reception who was really helpful, the hotel is well situated for all amenities and my wife and myself really love it and will hopefully be returning next year.

Just come back today lovely experience once again cannot fault the staff they are so helpful.love all the new decor . Massa Fina restaurant so friendly cafe always a delight to go to warm and friendly atmosphere rooms were spotless housekeepers great

Absolutely incredible time at such a wonderful hotel. The entertainment staff in particular could not be more fun and helpful especially Leo and Marcello who organised so many activities for children from start to finish. Full of energy and with a wonderful smile every day, they raised the roof on providing our family with incredible memories. Thank you both. The pool for children is also perfect for younger ones.

Perfecte ligging bij het strand en kort bij de haven. Mooie kamers en fijne bedden. Ook het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

De badkamer mocht iets ruimer. Je kon er niet met 2 personen aan de wasbak. Verder vond ik het gebrek aan talenkennis jammer. Slechts enkelen spraken Engels of Frans. Voor zo een groot hotel vind ik dit toch een must.

I felt the breakfast left down what was a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. It genuinely was poor.
