I don’t usually rate anything 10 out of 10 because there are always things which could be improved but not so in this case. We just loved this little hotel.

Warm welcome & tour of this beautiful accomadation, arrived later than planned but this was no problem. Amazed at the facilities avaliable & attention to detail throughout. Booked two nights but would of loved to of stayed longer to appreciate the calm, tranquil enviroment. Will be recomending to friends. 🏘

Just a note to say for me the walk down the steps into Tavira was fine however a gentle reminder its a good 10 minutes.

El sitio es precioso y el desayuno que te ponen es increíble. No es un hotel al uso, si no una casa con habitaciones y baño privado.

No me gusto que no avisarán con antelación que, aunque aceptaran perro, éste no se pudiera quedar un par de horas solo en la habitación. Además, hay gatos en la casa, lo cual debería avisarse

Beautiful location with view over the river. Our room had patio doors which opened directly onto the pool area which was gorgeous. Lovely breakfast on terrace with views to die for. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Didn't like that we had only booked one night!!

Todo! Un sitio súper coqueto que te da una paz inmensa. Además el personal atento y amable. Situado a 10 min del centro andando, pero con toda la tranquilidad sin ruidos. Además, al ser pequeño no coincidimos más de 3 parejas en la piscina. La cual no tiene horario. Sin duda repetiría.

Por sugerir algo. Una mini nevera en la habitación y que por la mañana entraba muuucha luz y costaba seguir durmiendo. Pero vamos, todo genial.

Our air con didn’t work too well and happened to be a very hot week during our stay but it would have been fine ordinarily when outside temperatures weren’t so hot

Une superbe maison, la piscine rafraîchissante, pas loin de la ville, on peut faire à pied. Le petit déjeuner succulent. Le personnel très courtois.

J'aurais aimé avoir un petit frigo dans la chambre pour mettre des choses au froid.

Lugar con encanto, cerca del centro de Tavira, donde se puede llegar dando un paseo de 15 minutos. El hotel es pequeño y familiar con una ambiente muy tranquilo y acogedor. Tiene una terraza con una piscina muy agradable.

Algunas instalaciones podrían mejorarse, como la grifería y los enchufes. Y alguna renovación de las sábanas no vendría mal.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Gästehaus, tolle Lage und wunderschöner Ausblick beim leckeren Frühstück. Es gab sogar vegane Milch Alternativen ☺️ Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die familiäre Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Das Team war so herzlich! Wir haben die Unterkunft bereits Freunden empfohlen. Danke für einen tollen Urlaub.

We had a wonderful stay at Tavira Terrace for 5 nights. The hotel feels more like a guest house, which made it the perfect peaceful escape from busy everyday life. We stayed in a suite with a terrace, which was wonderful. The room was very spacious, and they had set up a lovely cot for our toddler. The terrace was also very spacious. Although it's technically shared with the room next door (it's separated by large plant pots), we were never out there at the same time, so it felt very private. The view across to Tavira from the terrace is beautiful. Location-wise, it's only about a 15 minute walk to the centre, and we walked in and out every day. Be aware, there are a lot of stairs. As an active couple, we didn't find them an issue (we carried the buggy up and down each day), but they could be challenging if you have limited mobility, as there isn't an alternative route. We enjoyed the walk into town along the river and loved staying in a peaceful location away from the restaurants and bars. The swimming pool was lovely, and we appreciated the thoughtful extra touches, such as the honesty bar and the umbrellas available to borrow for beach days. The two ladies who work there were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were so kind to our daughter and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend Tavira Terrace to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful Portuguese town.

We loved sitting out on our terrace, but unfortunately the outside light wasn't working, so we couldn't sit out and read in the evenings once our daughter was asleep, which would have been nice. The lift was also out of service during our stay. It wasn't a deal breaker, but with the number of steps leading to the property, it would have been nice to have it available! Breakfast was nicely presented each morning, with a lovely little table set up on the terrace, and we enjoyed the yoghurt. Sadly the fruit was disappointing, and it would have been nice to have a few more options available. As a result, we chose to have breakfast out on most mornings. One other small thing is that there isn't a toilet in the communal areas, so if you're by the pool, you'll need to return to your room.

Loved the location and comfortably, home from home experience that Tavira Terrace offers, staff work hard to keep the property lovely and clean and tidy. Loved the honesty bar and easy walk to / from Tavira

We had an amazing stay at Tavira Terrace. The room was large and clean, with all the facilities you need to truly feel at home. From beach umbrellas and an honesty bar, to a table full of sunscreen and other toiletries you might need, it made our stay even better. The villa has a large pool with a great view across Tavira (which requires walking up 100+ stairs from town!). We would stay here again.

The bed was a bit hard and could feel springs, but didn’t take away from the whole experience.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and had a twin superior room, it had air con and a big bathroom, which looked out directly onto the pool. This suited us perfectly and we enjoyed sitting on terrace in the evening having a drink from the honesty bar. The pool was lovely and there are plenty of beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with restaurant recommendations and helping us to book restaurants. We had breakfast and it was just what we wanted, continental and fresh. The area is so peaceful and just a 15 minute walk into center if Tavira. There are the steps back up from town, but that's to be expected if you want views and relaxation.

Lo tienen todo, comodidad , instalaciones impecables y buen servicio., Si no tienes ganas de salir te puedes quedar a leer o disfrutar de la piscina, juegos de mesa (billar) con bebidas disponibles para servirte. Es un lugar para repetir. Y mi perro no sólo fue bienvenido sino que muy bien tratado. Gracias 🙏

Schon der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir fühlten uns gleich super willkommen. Tavira Terrace ist ein sehr besonderes Hotel. Jeder Raum ist individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt zwei große Wohnzimmer und viele schöne Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken, die das Hotel so besonders machen. Der Pool ist fantastisch und durch die etwas erhöhte Lage des Hotels hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt. Es wird morgens frisch am Platz serviert und ist sehr reichhaltig. Zur Lage: Vom Hotel erreicht man das Zentrum sehr gut zu Fuß. Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Tavira zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

La casa es preciosa, el desayuno muy bueno y el personal también. Tiene buenas vistas y es una zona tranquila.

La habitación situada en la planta baja no tiene.persianas ni contraventanas, además las cortinas no son suficientes para evitar que entre muchísima claridad por las mañanas. La cama y las almohadas no eran muy cómodas. La habitación de al lado, como te toque alguien ruidoso, en nuestro caso, te amarga. Deberían mejorar estas habitaciones.

It was a good location with a beautiful view of Tavira.

The facilities were a bit worn out and could use some updating. Specifically the bed was very uncomfortable and seemed like it had seen better days. The pillows and pads on the pool furniture was very worn out.

L'accueil et les conseils de Capucine, la tranquillité du lieu, les espaces communs sont spacieux, chaleureux et vivants, le souci du détail, les petits déjeuners sur la terrasse avec vue, l'ambiance relaxante, le mini bar ouvert 24h...

On est un peu captif! on ne se lève pas le matin pour aller prendre notre petit dej en ville et revenir au gîte, la prise des petits déjeuners sur place est quasi essentielle.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Everything was exceptional from moment of check in . Easy stroll in to town for shopping or dinner down /up some steps but not difficult. We will definitely return.

Not a luxury hotel – something much better. Lovely peaceful vibe. Kind and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Being able to walk out of our simple room straight to the pool. Small scale – just a few other guests when we stayed at end of May. Very quiet. Excellent air con. A great base to enjoy Tavira.

Warme ontvangst met een welkomstdrankje en koekjes. De twee dames waren altijd heel vriendelijk en we kregen zelfs een parasolletje aangeboden toen we naar het strand gingen. Het zicht op Tavira vanop het terras is prachtig. Zalig ontbijten zo..

Voor de mensen die slecht te been zijn, hou er rekening mee dat het 120 trappen zijn naar beneden naar het dorpje. Met de aangename temperaturen van mei was dat wellicht minder een uitdaging -vooral naar boven- dan in hoogzomer bij 35 graden.. 😅

Heerlijk guesthouse met aangename sfeer en vriendelijke, hartelijke eigenaar en beheerder. Prachtige ruime kamer met uitzicht op Tavira en terras.

Ein wunderschöner Ort! Alles sehr individuell und dennoch ein hervorragender Standard. Ein gemütliches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Ein kontinentales Frühstück gibt es auf dem sonnigen Balkon mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Das schönste am Frühstück ist der traumhafte Blick vom Balkon über die ganze Stadt, das Marschland bis hin zum Meer. Zum Relaxen gibt es einen tollen Pool mit kleinen Sesselgruppen und Liegen. Den ganzen Tag gibt es Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank, die bei Abreise abgerechnet werden: die Bar of Honor - einfach toll! Das beste aber, sind die beiden netten Gastgeberinnen, die jeden Wunsch erfüllen und immer gute Tipps für Besichtigungen oder Restaurants haben. Danke, ihr habt den Aufenthalt so persönlich gemacht!

Hadde et fantastisk opphold på Tavira Terrace. Kjempe koselig sted og den super vakre utsikten over Tavira er virkelig fantastisk. Fra ankomst da vi ble møtt av Kristoff & Manuella fikk vi veldig god informasjon og fantastisk god service. Rommene var koselige med eget bad og veldig koselig interiør. Det var ca 10-15 minutter gåing så var du i Tavira sentrum, med fine kafeer og restauranter. Hvis vi skal bo i Tavira igjen så kommer vi absolutt tilbake til dette sted 👌.

The staff and house are welcoming and lovely. The view is fantastic and the pool is a great bonus. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

The location is up on a hill so be prepared to climb several stairways. The breakfast was pretty good but the coffee was not strong enough and eggs would be a nice addition.

The photos do not do justice to this boutique-style hotel . We stayed in a very comfortable superior room with en-suite and large balcony and fantastic views. Everything about this place is well thought out, breakfast is fantastic, the pool area delightful. A peaceful haven - but the steps up and down to town will be a barrier for some.

The steps on the walk down to town! The trains that others mentioned are infrequent and slow running so really are not an issue.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We stayed in the room that had the bathroom 'outside of the room' which was not an issue. It is right next to the room and we were provided with robes. It was never an issue and the bathroom was very nice! We had an early departure on our last morning and they were kind enough to make sandwiches for us to take since we couldn't stay for their wonderful breakfast. The women that run the place are so wonderful and kind. Make you feel like it is your home.

We stayed here for 7 nights which was so relaxing. Staff were all very welcoming & attentive to any of our needs. Pool area was so tranquil ,on occasions we had it all to ourselves. The honesty bar was a lovely touch. The only downside were the steps which may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt... Der Empfang war herzlich und informativ. Das Zimmer hatte eine Terrasse mit wunderbarem Blick über Tavira. Das gute Frühstück gab es auch auf der Terrasse, serviert von unseren lieben Hausdamen. Im Haus gibt es eine Bar, an der man sich mit Getränken versorgen kann. Die Innenausstattung des Hauses ist überaus geschmackvoll, man kann sich kaum satt sehen. Tavira ist zu Fuß über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Wer es nicht zurück schafft, nimmt ein Uber Taxi. Wir sind immer gelaufen, trainiert.

Am Pool wäre eine Einstiegshilfe nützlich. Ansonsten alles gut...

Wir wurden besonders herzlich empfangen und bekamen bestmögliche Unterstützung von Manuela in einer für uns schwierigen Situation. Sie war während des gesamten Aufenthalts außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit. Toller weiter Blick von der Zimmerterrasse mit Swimmingpoolzugang. Wir würden wieder buchen !
