Eigenlijk was alles fantastisch. We hadden een hele grote suite en die ruimte was insaneeee. Ik moet wel zeggen dat het een iets modernere upgrade zou kunnen gebruiken maar was het was schoon. Dus absoluut niet storend. We komen zeker terug!

The staff were wonderful, and all the food, both the breakfast and the al a cart sun terrace restaurant was fabulous. BUT, the poor hotel is clearly run down and in need of some love.

The access to the beach is through the closed up shopping and other facilities area, it felt sad, like walking through a grave yard. I stayed here 20 years ago, and it was a vibrant high end hotel, now, it feels shabby and run down. I feel very sorry for the staff, as they are so happy and work so hard.

Les conditions constatées sur place sont manifestement incompatibles avec le niveau de standing et de prestations attendu d’un établissement commercialisé comme un hôtel 5 étoiles, compte tenu notamment de son état, des travaux en cours, de l’ascenseur hors service et de la fermeture de plusieurs infrastructures. La moquette de l’entrée principale dans un état extrêmement mauvais …etc .. Un très grand décalage manifeste entre le standing annoncé lors de la réservation et les conditions réellement constatées sur place

La ubicación y el personal. El personal consigue que te sientas como en casa, incluso estando el hotel en una situación delicada. Son grandes profesionales, siempre atentos y amables, y hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable. Su dedicación y trato cercano marcan la diferencia.

Las habitaciones necesitan una remodelación; se nota el paso del tiempo y agradecerían una renovación.

Very enjoyable, great location and staff. Shame badly needed refurbishments cannot take place due to the uncertain situation, Will definitely come again.

Love this hotel, been going for 20 years. The staff are fantastic and we got a great upgrade, couldn’t ask for more, however the hotel is really in need of some investment and desperately needs to sort out the bottom floor. That said I’ll be back next year. Thanks guys!

My wife and I stayed at Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banús to celebrate our wedding anniversary and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Despite requesting a double bed when booking, we were allocated a room with two single beds. Not ideal when celebrating a special occasion. The room then suffered repeated air-conditioning failures, leaving it hot, humid and uncomfortable. I reported the issue to reception and maintenance attended, however after a power outage the problem returned and required further intervention. There were also concerns regarding the condition of the room. The balcony door latch was broken, meaning the door could not be properly secured. More concerningly, the furniture provided was in poor condition. A lounger on the balcony was defective and collapsed when used, resulting in an injury to my arm. The lounger support structure was completely missing offering no support, as you can imagine sitting from a standing position with no support can easily result in injury, which the hotel assistant manager could not understand in his initial response. I have uploaded photographs of the issues. Following our return home, I raised these matters with the hotel and supplied photographic evidence. Whilst the hotel eventually acknowledged the issues and offered compensation, the only cash refund they were prepared to offer was €160 despite the number of defects encountered during our stay. A larger amount was only offered in the form of a future-stay voucher, which was of no value to us given that we have no intention of returning. I appreciate that problems can occur in any hotel. What matters is how they are dealt with. Unfortunately, for a property marketed as a 5-star hotel and charging premium rates, the standard of accommodation, maintenance and customer service fell well below expectations. Based on our experience, I would not return and would struggle to recommend this hotel to others looking for a special occasion stay in Puerto Banús.

The resort is located on a beach in Marbella which is sandy and where one can park yourself to sun. The real action is at the pool which is large, comfortable in temperature, and has the pool bar located nearby. The bar is staffed by an incredible group of people who make it known that they are there to make their guests happy! We had the good fortune to meet Angel Gamez, a phenomenal individual that seemed to appear out of nowhere whenever our drinks were done. Great conversationalist and super friendly! One of the many fantastic people who worked there. The bar also took food orders which meant that you could focus o your day without having to leave the pool area. The rooms are superb! We had a corner suite with a living area and a deck that faced the sea. Blackout blinds covered the floor to ceiling windows. And see through shades provided shielding from the sun. The view was quite nice and extended from the balcony to our room. The balcony had several chairs, coffee table and a large table which would serve well if you wished to entertain. The folks servicing the rooms were exceptional and efficient! We visited the restaurant and there was a nice diverse menu from which to choose. Again, the staff were great and made you feel welcome. The front desk staff were also welcoming and made it known that your needs were their priority. The resort was a quick Uber drive away from the local restaurants and shopping areas. And there were always taxis lined up out front waiting to take you where you needed to go. Overall, I would highly recommend this establishment. It is super clean, comfortable, modern, and the folks that run the place make it feel like a home away from home. Always an important item!

Property is in a very good location. There is currently no parking which is quite inconvenient. The rooms are very outdated the bathroom is very old, the air conditioning doesn’t work. Had to ask for an iron and other essentials but was provided. The staff were friendly.

Awful run down property

The staff were very accommodating and the service was exceptional. Food was great! The pool side staff were amazing! Kudos to Angel for his abilities and personality. All staff, from front desk to room service were amazing! The grounds were clean and inviting.

Läget var magiskt! Maten i restaurang Sofia och i baren vid poolen var fantastisk🤩 Frukosten var otrolig, fattades inte nåt😍 Personalen var supertrevlig och tillmötesgående på alla sätt. Suiten var rymlig och bekväm

Enda nackdelen var att några gäster var högljudda och störande till långt in på morgonen. Men det är ju inte hotellets fel. Jag hade gärna haft en bäddmadrass i sängen, men det har man inte i Spanien. Det är synd.

Excellent, clean and friendly hotel situated within walking distance to Puerto Banus. Very friendly staff, and very clean! Good food. Nice swimmingpool area. I would really like to go back to the same hotel for another holiday!

Det burde vært ytterligere varslet hvor stort renovasjonsarbeid som pågår. Strand-tilgang var ødelagt, det var slitent og avstengt. Frokostsalen likeså- midlertidig løsning i baren. Dessverre ikke tilfredsstillende! Vi bodde i en stor suite, uten kaffemaskin! Kun vannkoker og pulverposer, det er ikke holdbart Litt slitent, trenger oppgradering

Dommage, restaurants fermés

On a su la veille par mail que les restaurants de l hôtel etaient fermés, seul un petit restaurant est ouvert.

Lovely large room and balcony area was great. Bed very hard but we were told we should have asked for a mattress topper… we will know next time if we go back…

Lots of areas closed and not much going on. Very tired and all the areas and restaurants in front of the sea are closed and look really shabby. Car park is also closed.

Colazione ottima, cibo di qualita’ e vario, personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile.

La mancanza di servizi, del resto preannunciata, che dava un senso di disfacimento a tutta la struttura un po’ lasciata andare con gli anni.

A szálloda elég koszos volt,sokkal jobbat vártunk.A szálloda környezet sem volt olyan mint amit a képeken láttunk. Egy alapos felújítás már ráférne a szállodára.

The room had a pool view

Most of the place was closed down to a court in junction which I think was very unfair as I was only told this after booking !!! I feel like I should have got a discount our refund ……

Staff were rude & not very accommodating. We had ants in our room. I booked a double bed but got 2 twin beds - breakfast is awful and a must avoid

Bed was rock hard. But the added a topper on 2nd night. All restaurants were closed down.

Reception staff extremely amicable and helpful. Quality, standard and cleanliness of room excellent. Bar staff amicable and friendly. Breakfast and dinner meals faultless.

As much as it pains me I CAN'T recommend the hotel. The staff were amazing and without them this place would shut. The hotel is NOT a 5 star and is an average 4 star. There are no facilities. Everything is cordorned ouff and common areas are very very shabby. The basement areas have not been touched in about 10 years and have tape blocking them. The rooms need a massive updgrade as does the hotel hotel. Bfast tables were in the lobby of the hotel..genuinely. The location is great and if it got a proper invesmtent it could be very very good. Staff second to none and couldnt fault them but it needs a massive investment.

The hotel seemed quite old, the tv didn’t have no Netflix, no YouTube. I couldn’t even share it from my phone as tv didn’t have that option. Then to my surprise early in the morning they put the music in the room, I mean who does that? They said “oh it’s like alarm for breakfast you can switch it off”. Not a pleasant experience I must say. However, staff was lovely.

While we did understand that there is a dispute going on and that all facilities were unavailable but unfortunately the hotel is being left in disrepair

The breakfast was much below our expectations, disappointing in fact .the room and facilities were not bad, though.

Breakfast, too little to choose from, a few cruisers and breads, and only one orange juice; no coffee machine seen in the cafeteria; they prepared manually and served. The staff at the reception were not jolly or smiling, did not bother who came and left, let alone greet “hi” but one at the swimming pole was very nice!

We stayed with my husband in the hotel for a second time. We liked the room , terrace , Hot tub and a view. Good value for money in the low season. Nice breakfast.
