We had an early check in, the room was great, and the staff very kind. The hotel is in the heart of the center, so it’s very noisy when you step out.

Me da alegria saber que la calidad del hotel se ha mantenido durantemuchos años. El personal siempre es muy amable, las habitaciones decoradas con mucho detalle, se mantiene muy limpio. Es centrico y ahora ya tienen elevador. Volvi despues de muchos años y sigue sumamente cuidado.

Super good location. It is just one block away from downtown and 15 minutes walking from the famous Santo Domingo church and archeological museum and ex convent, on a beautiful pedestrian street. The hotel staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is also very good.

The location was perfect. Staff was helpful and friendly. The outdoor seating area was very inviting and beautiful. So pleasant to sit outside, have something to eat or drink from the cafe, and enjoy the beautiful and calm atmosphere. Loved the birds, Javier and Lucia!

The water pressure in the shower was poor and it did take time to get to a comfortable temperature. But the room was excellent and worth the less than perfect shower water situation.

Our large room, considered a suite, did not have any windows. Felt a little claustrophobic.

The court yard was beautiful.The location was terrific. There was nice collection of books in their library. We had great breakfasts each morning.

When we checked out the morning guy was rather grouchy.

The Parador San Miquel is a lovely Colonial styled hotel perfectly situated walking distance to all the important sites of Oaxaca. The staff was very helpful and cheerful, the dining room menu extensive and of good quality. The rooms were large, well appointed and spotless. Asking for a room to the back of the hotel will ensure a quiet stay.

We ended up eating in the restaurant a few times over our 8 night stay. Once for breakfast and 3 times for dinner. Enough variety on the menu and the food was good! All staff we encountered was extremely nice and accommodating.

Only thing we didn’t care for was our room was on the first floor - right off the courtyard. Couldn’t leave the curtains open and there was very little daylight. Room itself was wonderful, as were amenities.

Beautiful hotel, friendly & helpful staff, spotlessly clean, inviting courtyard, singing birds, a short walk to the Zocolo. The restaurant was excellent too. We stayed 8 nights.

Very close to Zocalo and right in the heart of the city. Short walk to Benito Jaurez park and the Jalatlaco Neighborhood which has beautiful murals. The facilities were very clean and the customer service exceptional.

Street noise and early departures can be heard walking through the corridors.

The staff, how clean it was kept, the architectural style,and the restaurant. It is beautiful and colorful.

It was a bit noisy and there is a rooftop patio we didn’t even know about, we would have enjoyed being outdoors in the sunshine.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The same goes for the attached restaurant. I won't stay anywhere else in Oaxaca.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

Food, property quality was high and everything was clean. Majority of staff was very polite

The last morning I had an early flight out, there was no hot water at 3 am, I had to take a cold shower. The person at the front desk was pretty rude when I asked if my taxi had arrived.

La television esta muy mal colocada, cuando estas en cama solo ves una parte de la pantalla ya que cubre una gran parte el mueble donde guardas la ropa...

Great location, near the Zocalo, but not noisy. The hotel is old architecture and has a lot of character with a beautiful courtyard. We had many of our meals there. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly,

We had to upgrade our room. The first room did not match the photos on Booking.com and was too small with no closet. We paid a little extra and had a very comfortable room.

The property was very well located, clean and exactly as advertised. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We contacted the hotel a few days before for help to arrange transportation and private tours - they were super responsive and everything was perfectly coordinated, in particular many thanks to Damaris for her help with our tours!

The hotel is excellently located for the main sights of Oaxaca. The staff were mostly friendly and the room was comfortable.

There was no window in our bedroom - except one in the bathroom and one facing the internal corridor. We asked to change rooms but the only other option was the same! There was also a tricky set up with the clothes closet being on the bathroom and the way the doors were configured was quite irritating as we were constantly having to move out of each others way!

They advertise jacuzzi and provide bath products but water shortages in Oaxaca make it impossible to use anything but shower function. The frosted rooms’ frosted, engraved windows open onto the internal balconles facing the opposite rooms, which prevents street noise but must be closed at night to avoid hearing neighbors.

If you want a quiet location this isn’t the best but we wanted to be in the centre so it worked really well for us. Spa is closed due to water shortages we think.

Great location that was walkable to every part of town. The hotel and gardens were immaculate. The staff bent over backwards for every request.

Great location. Lovely appropriate furnishings. In a wonderful colonial building. Welcoming.

Few windows in bedrooms. No Overhead fans. Good AC. Rooms , while comfortable, felt a little close. But beautiful outdoor patios with lounge chairs and tables and chairs and service.

The staff was most helpful from the people who clean the rooms and common areas to the people in the front office. The location is most ideal: within walking distances to the Zocola, museums, botanical garden and meeting places for tours. The restaurant is also good.

Not the fault of the hotel, but when the fireworks went off in the Zocalo, the noise seemed to explode right outside of room door. The first time was at 6:00AM. Later on, we saw the "adviso" in the lobby telling that the the noise was not gun shots but fireworks. This did not distract from our choice of Parador San Miguel

Amazing staff, very friendly, excellent location of hotel close to the zócalo, safe at night, lots of restaurants, they can organize group or public tours. Excellent hospitality and we loved the restaurant, the food was excellent!

Since the first day we arrived, we were treated like royalty. They gave us coffee. They took our luggage upstairs. They treated us with respect with love and appreciation. It’s a great experience.

The bed was rock hard, making sleep difficult. They have the wrong address on all their documents and emails due to a typo and it made it difficult for the taxi to find it. I hired their car service for the airport run but he was very, very late.

It’s very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They are so sweet that they set up a birthday decoration for our room when I mentioned it was a birthday celebration trip. It was such a pleasant surprise! They made the birthday celebration extraordinarily a special one to remember for years to come. We enjoyed our stay very much and we truly appreciate the effort they put in.

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Restaurant has tasty food and drinks the only complaint is that they need to open the restaurant early not after 7:30am. Some of us are early birds that needs coffee before a tour.

I felt very safe staying at this property. The restaurant downstairs is excellent!

Very nice decor but this hotel is hardly in the upper class category. It’s clean and I would equate it more to three and half star. The bed is a bit old. The hotel has signs in the room about what they do not give you and even limits the amount of personal hygiene product they will supply and threats of charges if you make the towel dirty. It’s not very welcoming at all.

Great location. Walkable to all tourist attractions. The only flaw was the wifi which had poor strength. Had to go outside to get wifi. Otherwise I liked this hotel and would return

This is a pretty and very comfortable, and clean hotel. The location - so close to La Plaza is just perfect. The staff works so hard to keep everything clean and sparkling.

Staff were courteous and helpful. We’ve never stayed at any place with a higher level of cleanliness. The staff were polishing windows, railings, floors, etc every day. Close to Zocalo and center of town. An excellent place to stay.

The location is unbeatable – in the heart of downtown yet surprisingly peaceful. Everything we wanted to explore was within walking distance: the cathedral, museums, zócalo, restaurants, and mercados were all steps away. The three-story hotel has no elevator, but the stairs are remarkably easy to navigate. Our room was a cozy sanctuary with thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The cleanliness was impeccable – every surface sparkled with attention to detail. We recommend this hotel. It perfectly balances prime location, comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

Friendly staff, welcoming. Good size room, lovely quaint feel to it. Location is excellent to just go and walk and explore. Very safe. Fabulous restaurants and bakeries nearby. Staff very helpful. Booked junior suite and looking forward to Jacuzzi after long day. But ours did not work. This was quite frustrating. To their credit they offered to move us but this was day 2 of 3 and we didn't want to move everything again. Also safe didn't work but they give us an over ride key so we coudl still use it. I think they need to check everything is working before guests arrive. I was told hotel woudl contact me after I left to offer compensation for the jacuzzi but I did nto receive a call. This was not good.
