Outdated, stains on beds / towels, bed and pillow could've been replaced with new ones - Yellowish colors and flat. Room is cleaned everyday, towels were replaced everyday (all looked the same - with stains). Breakfast was.confusing - nothing was outstanding.

Some spot of outside hotel,expecially at the back,not maintaince well. But it is ok still. Parking lot were limiteb on the inside.

The staff’s service is truly outstanding—attentive, warm, and consistently helpful. From the concierge to the dining staff, as well as the pool and spa team, everyone made our stay enjoyable. Special thanks to Ms. Risti for assisting my husband and me with all the facilities, including the gym, pool, and spa. The room is spacious and comfortable. Although the building is older, it is clearly very well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised that even the standard rooms come with a bathtub—something that reflects the hotel’s past as a luxury property, with its quality of hygiene and comfort still preserved today. The food selection could be improved, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again the next time I visit Semarang.

Dangerous step heading into Lobby area There are warning signs on the floor but this is not good enough There should be barriers to prevent people walking straight into the room and handrails I fell and bruised my hip and it could easily have been broken Staff were good but the situation needs to be fixed I have never fallen any where else before

Suasana hotel di malam hari terlalu redup (efek lampu yg terlalu banyak warna kuning) misal lampu di kamar sebaiknya diberi yg lebih terang (diberi pilihan untuk terang/putih) shg memudahkan untuk membaca di kamar.

I had an amazing time at this pool! The place was very clean, the water crystal clear, and the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The staff Mr. Risti were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help — truly making the experience memorable. The pool area was well-maintained, with plenty of comfortable seating and fresh towels available. I also appreciated how organized everything was, from check-in to service. Whether you’re coming for a quick swim or a full day to unwind, this place delivers comfort and quality.

Location great. Staff friendly and responsive. Pool nice. Room layout nice. This room had good A/C although my previous stay did not.

Shower head old design, shower head support kept slipping down the pipe. Tub too small, hard to keep balance during shower. Needs remodeling and add rain shower head option. I enjoy Novotel Yogyakarta and I expected more from the Novotel brand.

A/C not functioning. I waited awhile to see if it improves, it didn’t, so I called front desk. They sent mechanic who worked on it and told me to wait 30 mins . It was very slow to descend below 25° C. Finally it was good enough to sleep. Shower head kept slipping down the metal pole, difficult to have a hands-free shower. This was a Standard room. I recommend booking larger room with a full size couch for extra room to move around. This room felt small.

The swimming pool is very clean, Mr. Ristyono's service is very good. My child really enjoys swimming in here. Thank you.

A unique experience and I would like to repeat it. The hotel in general is very good, very complete and with good facilities. The Citrus restaurant has an unbeatable atmosphere. The employees are very friendly with the customer, they make you feel at home, especially many thanks to Indah and Ale for their love and care. I would repeat it without a doubt. THANK YOU.

Old is Gold! I have been staying at this hotel for almost 20 years and always back here. Resti at breakfast restaurant provided excellent service.

We hebben voor 4 personen geboekt (2 volwassenen, 2 kids (van 9 en 12 jaar).We kwamen achter bij de kamer dat alles voor 2 personen (1 bed voor 2persoon, handdoeken enz)behalve ontbijt voor 4personen best raar. Bij inchecken werd niks gezegd over extra bedden. Meteen de receptie gebeld waar blijf onze extra bedden voor de kids na overleg kreeg we gratis 1 persoon bed voor de andere moet we extra betalen voor 300.000 rupiah per avond. Het is best vervelend omdat je voor 4 personen geboekt heeft en je krijgt niet alles wat je geboekt heeft. Slecht geïnformeerd.

Location is strategic in the city center Bed and bathroom already old style, towel and bed linen color grayish/ yellowish, is so filthy... BF menu is very bad, limited food choice and tasteless, all fruit are not fresh

Very strange hotel in many ways. 1) Payment taken at time of arrival 2) No ability to charge dinners to room 3) Hotel Restaurant doesn't appear to open (Both nights so far( 4) Can only eat in a strange bar, cafe, Restaurant on ground floor...where people are smoking when you try to eat. 5) 2 small complimentary bottles of water in room...however when asked for more (Its charged to you...unheard off in all he hotels I have stayed in. 6) The rooms need a refresh....dirty/mould in bath not good. Bed is comfortable

The hotel has potential, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The first room was damp and humid AMD the bathtub was dirty. Most concerning were the pillows – they had large yellow stains, which is simply unhygienic. After reporting this to the front desk, I received new linens and replacement pillows, which were better. The next day, I was offered a different room (an executive room), which looked much cleaner. However, even in that room, the pillows were again stained. I had to ask for the cleaner pillows from the previous room to be brought over. While the staff did try to assist, it felt more like a workaround than a proper solution. I would have preferred basic cleanliness and maintenance to be in place from the start — especially in a hotel of this category and price point. Hopefully, the hotel will take this feedback seriously, as the location and potential are definitely there.

Overall, it was not bad, quite an old hotel but maintained well. My room wasn't that clean though, there was a stain on my bed sheet, tables/surfaces were not wiped down properly.

Good hotel, relaxing pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, opposite Paragon shopping mall. Reception and lobby area has nice art and nice furniture to relax with coffee or do work on laptop. Semarang has many tourist attractions to visit.

The pool is spacious and well-maintained. The staff (Mas Risty) was so friendly and knows best for the guests. It was really a great experience to stay at Novotel Semarang. I will definitely come back here for a short or long stay in Semarang.

Swimming pool is good. Gym is good. I enjoy so much.People are very nice, and they are always smiling. Room and restaurants are also nice. I would comment to offer more various good style, like Chinese and western style food. Nevertheless, I will stay next time.

The reception area, start from front lobby attendee are responsive to the guest luggage and helpful. As the basement for parking space are quite tight, as It not enough to give you peace of mind leaving your vehicle parked between spaces. The room are nice, with a view of semarang main street. Ammenities and room beverage compliment are well served as it come in jar which are plentiful and conveniently reusable for our satisfaction in tea and cpffee. Something I unfimilliar with in hotel room. The bed and sheet are clean and comfortable. Other facilities are adequately provided as the tv are quite outdated, upgraded television are much needed addition. The pool is nice with wind breeze and sunbathe area. Pool attendant is quite thorough keeping the pool area clean and friendly too. Breakfast is nice, providing ample enough of delicious food.

Order non smoking tapi dikasih smoking room. Keran wastafel copot . Air panas tidak jalan. Handuk kelihatan kotor dan sudah tidak putih. Bau asap rokok. Kondisi furniture yang sudah rusak dan tidak ter maintain.
