Nice, quiet place if you don't need to be in Queenstown centre every day. Big room, good heating. Very convenient for Coronet Peak. Bus-stop right outside and across the road, for buses up to CP and down to Queenstown centre. Food opposite at Gantley's is very good. Small grocery store nearby. Resort's own food is also good.
Nothing
El personal fue muy amable. Las camas eran cómodas.
La alfombra necesita renovación. El desayuno era promedio para el precio.
Great place to stay for big group of people
comfortable & a nice big room
was a bit noisy being close to a busy road at times
No seats, bed uncomfortable, noises from other guests when they leave their room, can also smell petrol fumes from cars, wall heating is noisy, internet is slow for a hotel standard.
Good location for events in Arthur’s Point
Hotel is in need of a good upgrade. Our room had black mould around the window area, and there was water lying underneath the sponge cushion on the window seat
Close too ski field
Hard bed
Les lits chauffants
Ventilation du chauffage un peu bruyante
Shower pressure not good
The snow outside made it special
No staff in restraunt at times
It was opposite the onsen, but also around 15-20 minutes drive to Queenstown and Arrowtown.
The heater broke on the second night so it was freezing cold. We were given a small portable radiator heater but it didn’t have enough power to heat up the entire room. I also found a black curly hair in the bed (neither me or my partner have black curly hair) as well as nose pickings in the sheets.
Stunning in the winter with the ONSEN straight across the road from the resort was a bonus. The bowling alley for the kids, superb

The room was clean. The service for cleaning was good. Made up beds, tidied room and cleaned bathroom and provided clean towels. Breakfast was ok.
I hated the shower over the bath. The phone did not work and had to get maintenance, but failed a number of times. I had a courier addressed to the Hotel with my name. According to the courier they came and the staff did not know the name ( my name registered there) and it was taken back to their deport. It was my medication. Staff should of checked my room number. By the time I found my courier I had it sent back to my home address. Very inconvenient, I was not happy. Talking to the staff (reception) and lack of understanding English was a problem. At times I felt like I was the problem. Breakfast. I was not impressed that yesterdays breakfast was offered. The TV only had one channel. Maintenance could not fix. Ummm we had to watch the games on our phones. I was not happy.
The size of the bedrooms is awesome
Room 204 toilet is leaking. Absolutely no waterpressure. When you shower you slip on floor.
Close to Queenstown. Place is clean
A little dated.
After hours staff were really helpful and friendly
The bowling hall where breakfast was served was very cold and felt like the aircon was on cold, which made the breakfast get cold fast
It was warm
Very very tired. Bath had mouldy batch in it Carpet very tired
Beds are comfy, electric blankets. Clean & tidy. Handy location to most places just a short drive
Very dated!! Tv channels were very limited, no netflix etc. Heater is extremely noisy, to the point we didn't use it sometimes and it was the middle of winter. Breakfast was below average, standard buffet but definitely lacking in standards😫
Great that it was dog friendly and we also appreciated the free bowling in lieu of no housekeeping offer! Did think that the car parking should be free and included. The location is good if you want to ski but for us that don’t ski it is a little far out of town but an ok drive. The 3 beds in one room was good but would have been good to have a kitchenette so we could make breakfast. Overall happy with it the staff and stay! Would stay again!
Location is good, easy to find.
Rooms are too far from entrance, if you have luggage then very hard to manage. Have some access emergency doors but didn’t opened for guests check-in and check out. Management put notes everywhere like you got fine for this, you got fine for this. Its mean you can use anything but can pay us fine. Hidden charges for carpark, which is not too high or unjustified but At least 1 car they should charge in room rent, rather than extra. And another is parking charges if any.
Location beds bathroom and everything
All was good
Comfortable accomodation. Clean, warm and cosy on a cold winters day
Had to pay small additional fee for parking. Cafe style fare at in-house restaurant.
Great location, gorgeous views, plenty to do with fun activities
Slept terribly with uncomfortable beds. Two singles pushed together with no real comforter or topper meant we were falling in the middle all night.
Excellent hotel. Friendly welcoming staff. Excellent facilities. Perfect location.
Clean, tidy and easy to get to from town
Our room was cold. We only had one blanket for three beds. The little heater in the room only warmed the entry corner. Facilities were good just the room was cold.
clean and reasonable value for money.
Couldnt get the wifi to work. TV options were minimal
Good location Great staff
Bedding not tidy On one bed electric blanket not fit properly, it's almost off the bed
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Otherwise clean and tidy. Bonus was the large bedroom and huge bed with electric blanket but wall heater couldn’t warm the room. Temp overnight was -5 dgrees outside.
Staff still busy turning the rooms after 4pm. We apparently cut short room check as old soap was still in bathroom. Heater did not warm room. Room was so cold. Single glazed windows were ajar to get rid of condensation covering the inside. Mould in shower tiles. No heater in bathroom in -5 degree outside temp but it was cgeapest Qtn accom. Thsnk goodness we had brought our own hotwater bottles but bed still freezing with electric blanket on 1 and a blanket and three coats.
We really enjoyed our stay will definitely stay there again 🙂
Well situated if you plan to ski at Coronet Peak.
There was a shower over the bath. I could see dirty rings around the bath and the base of the bath was dirty. A bottle of Jif and some elbow grease wouldn't go astray.
tidy clean
arival good recption lots of smiles we asked about dinner a n told you can have a PIE in the bowling ally heater in room very noisey bathroom no heating ie towl rail or floor in a 2 to 6 celcis morning hotel was empty 4 gests breakfast very good JC
We only stayed one night as a special treat for our daughter to do some activities in Queenstown. We have stayed before and she liked the bowling rink and entertainment available. The staff particularly were wonderful and made the stay memorable by giving our daughter a special treat of a we desert for her birthday brought to our room.
It had everything we needed for our short stay. If staying longer having some more things available like a microwave and utensils would be helpful.
Location
Cleanliness and hygiene
-Big rooms -Views from outside are nice.
-Very away from everything if don't have car -Soundproofing was not the best, lots of noise in hallways.
comfortable bed
general maintenance standard v poor parking now is a seperate matter, was ok but run by another company.
Service
The location was lovely. Large comfy room. Everything was very clean.
Our room was at the end of a very long corridor. The only door at that end was an emergency exit, which we could not use. I would recommend that the hotel get a luggage rack, so we didn’t have to make multiple long trips to bring our luggage into the room.
The locality was great. Beautiful area
Housekeeping didnt restock coffee or clean cups
The 3 bedroom villa was excellent, nice, new and very tidy - would recommend to stay and book these ones.
Room didnt have any towels which had to be picked up from reception and the family room was pretty old and also found mould at places.
It’s far from Central Queenstown
Staff and breakfast is really bad. Showers are not working and bathtub is in very bad condition
The fact that you have entertainment zone in the hotel with restaurant and bar
The condition of the whole area. Everything looked old, worn out and just not so appealing
Bed comfortable, restaurant and bowling and bar on site.
TV is not smart tv. Shower gel was finished. Duet had somestains. But duet did got replaced once i told the staff.
The location was good for us. The cooked breakfast was good and they kept replenishing the trays so it was nice and hot and freshly cooked.
It is an older building and showing its age. When I entered the room, there was a bit of a musty smell, so opened a window for a bit. You can see the dampness has got in to the wooden window frame. Some of the tiles around the bath shower were broken and there appeared to be mold or something black in some of the grout. Water pressure from the shower was pitiful-very low pressure. For Queenstown standard it was below average for the price.
Location,clean comfortable
No glasses in room. TV was bad.Picture would disappear for up to an hour not many channels. Stay at a motel in Greymouth they had 51 + channels its called SKY.
The rooms were big.
The overall facilities are old and not maintained at the expected level. The refrigerator didn't work well; I needed to store some temperature sensitive meds, and the old refrigerators don't do even a passable job. There are no microwaves and the staff refused to warm up my son's food in the staff microwave. It was very inconvenient. The twin beds have small base with bigger mattress on top, and the mattress (with you on it) can fall if you lean on one side.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Dated...carpet in the hallways needs replacing, bowling alley needs serious maintenance, the balls are all pitted.

Location
Very rude front desk staff. Hung up on me when I went to make a change. Bathtub was dirty with holes patched with grey hard putty. Outdated decor and worn carpets
View from the room
Were not informed about breakfast options when checking in. Not good TV service.
Location
We didn’t get conditioner filled up , dental kits replaced and bed was not prepared for our stay.
Staff were nice, room was clean and location was good.
There were a couple for restaurants across the street
Rooms were not ready at 5pm, dirty laundry bags left in hallway, Bowling ally down stairs, entire hotel needed a redoing, over carpets stained, smelled, looked like a back packers,
It was clean, spacious and short drive to Queenstown.
TV signal was spotty, wasn't entirely what we expected when paying a large amount of money.
The only thing going for this place is the bowling!
Stains all over carperts in hallways and lobbies ,very budget vibe Tv had bad satllite ,moldy grout in bathroom , i would not pay more than $130 to stay here
A little kindness goes a long way.
Handy at Arthurs Point to both Queenstown and Arrowtown.
Could probably do with a refresh.
It’s at a good location
There were bed bugs which has resulted is a lot of bed bug bites on my legs and hands. The parking is on rough road which as a hassle as we had to life our heavy bags after parking due to the rough surface. Also lack of a lift made it harder to carry heavy bags upstairs.
We loved that it was outside of Queenstown which was so busy. Arthurs Point is quieter but has two very good restaurants and a grocery store. Really enjoyed the bowling alley too!
スタッフが親切で、部屋が清潔で広くて使いやすかったこと。

A spacious room
Very dated and worn. Toilet cistern valve didn't always shut off. Room felt barren; no bedspread or throws. $100 bond not released four days later, despite room being left in perfect condition.
Lovely staff member to check in and training another Free parking if staying - other hotels in Queenstown charging up to NZ 50 per night and very little public parking and hr rates Away from busy Queenstown
Old and tired Worn carpet Shower curtain needs replacing Don’t get room at front with view You will hear every car the drives over the rock driveway that all premises have Would be quieter around back side We came in and heater was on 26 On a beautiful sunny day wheew So no aircon only heating and we were warm for a bit Breakfast was basic buffet Did have milk alternatives
The location
Pool tables were terrible and very worn, staff were unhelpful with getting money to play on the pool tables. Had one game of bowling but because the lanes kept breaking down the one game had to be held over four lanes. All-round the place is very run down, not overly clean and there is a massive hole in the toilet wall.

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
6.8/10Mixed comments: several guests said rooms were clean and housekeeping was good, but there are notable cleanliness issues reported (black curly hair in bed, nose pickings in sheets, mould in bath, tired carpet) indicating inconsistent standards.
Service
8.3/10Mixed-to-positive: multiple reviewers praised friendly and helpful staff (including after-hours help), though there were service failures (no staff in restaurant at times, courier mishandling, language/communication issues at reception). Overall staff responsiveness is a relative strength despite some lapses.
Location
9/10Strong positive: repeatedly noted as conveniently close to Queenstown/Arrowtown, opposite the onsen and good for skiers; some find it a little far from town if not skiing, but location is a clear selling point.
Room Quality
5.5/10Below average: multiple functional problems reported (very low shower pressure, heater breaking and being inadequate/noisy, leaking toilet, slipping showers, mould in bath, dated/tired rooms, limited/poor TV). Bed comfort had some positive notes but overall room condition needs refurbishment.
Amenities
8.5/10Generally positive: family-friendly amenities (bowling alley was repeatedly praised, on-site parking available, dog friendly, free bowling offered in some cases). Some amenity shortfalls noted (no kitchenette in family rooms, paid parking).
Value for Money
7.5/10Mixed: guests appreciated perks like comfy beds, free bowling and convenient location, but many felt the property is dated and that breakfast/TV/room issues reduced perceived value.
Food and Beverage
6/10Below average: several complaints about breakfast quality (below average buffet, cold breakfast served in a chilly bowling hall, complaints about re-served food), indicating food & beverage is a weak area.
Overall Experience
9.2/10Overall impressions are positive despite issues: many guests said they would stay again, enjoyed the snow/onsen proximity and bowling, and found staff helpful. The positive experiences and amenities tend to outweigh the service/room shortcomings for many visitors.
