The location is absolutely amazing. Right next to the Nanjing Road shopping mall, and the main metro station is just steps away. Shout out to the concierge, so polite and helpful. The service is outstanding and the guys made us feel very welcome and cared for.

It’s a bit run down, which is understandable as it was built ages ago. A refurbishment is needed sometime soon to lift up this hotel.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. My computer couldn’t connect to the internet, so Justin explained the reason to me and helped me get connected successfully. I really appreciate his help.

Loved the location. Right at the start of pedestrian street if you turn left. And less than a 2km walk to the former French quarter to the right. Plenty of restaurants and shops right outside the door and there are metro subway accesses all around you. Loved the breakfast buffet. This is the only restaurant we’ve stayed at in Asia (and we’ve stayed at a LOT) that has actual freshly squeezed orange juice!

I emailed ahead that I love a really soft bed and could I please have extra toppers on the bed but no it was still like sleeping on the floor so I was never rested. :( The pool wasn’t as luxurious as it looks in the photos and while it’s got long opening hours (yay) you can’t go in without a swimming cap which removes the resort feeling of it. I accept it’s their prerogative but think it’s a bit weird, especially when you could be leaving behind deodorant and make up still. The restaurant was nice but the prices were ridiculous. It was cheaper to buy alcohol than a can of soft drink ($10AUD). I think when you can buy them for 50c in 7-11, charging your guests $10 is just taking advantage. A meal for two of us without drinks (one main burger meal, and one entree potato platter thing) set us back close to $60.

The rooms are good, they're cleaned properly, dental hygiene amenities are not placed in the rooms — they were offered at reception upon check-in. Good hairdryer, slippers are always replaced, there's an ironing board and iron. Very beautiful view from the window, we stayed on the 37th floor. Delicious breakfasts. The concierge Alb was very helpful with the delivery of power banks that had been taken at the airport. We communicated with him via WeChat and he made sure we got everything back. A very nice girl at reception, Riley, also handled everything quickly and professionally. I give them a 10.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast offered a good selection, the room was spotlessly clean with good facilities. The staff Yuki was extremely helpful and ready to assist:helped carry our luggage with big smiles. I highly recommend this hotel.

Locations as excellent right above a shopping mall why a food court and across the street from the metro station. Easy to get around and navigate to major sights such as the Bund etc. Breakfast was excellent and even with an abundance of people fresh and orderly. Coffee machines were great - 4 which is wonderful for such a big hotel, but meant no wait time. We had an executive king room on the 32nd floor and the night skyline view was spectacular. Thanks to the hotel team for making our stay such a memorable first visit to Shanghai.

The revolving restaurant was sadly disappointing due to the service being incredibly slow. We were two people and had looked so much forward to this experience, but it was completely ruined by wait time, drinks not being delivered, starter not arriving and after an hour wait and enquiring being informed it was on its way. We cancelled part of our order not wishing to wait so long and then took the meal to our room after sitting for almost 2 hours. Very strange to have so few wait staff and very slow prep and service. This experience could have been out of this world, so very disappointed with the experience we had.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! What impressed me most was the warm‑hearted and professional staff Jeff Chen. Every team member was friendly, attentive and ready to help with any questions. Their thoughtful service made our trip so comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again!

This hotel’s kinda old. My room wasn’t on a very high floor, plus there’s this persistent stale smell in the room. That’s the only con tho. Service is really awesome! Big thanks to Yuki at front desk, she’s warm & helps with anything I need. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant has plenty options, the bread is so good.

Reserve una habitación para dos adultos y una menor de 15 años, nos dieron un apartamento con sala , oficina , dos baños y UNA CAMA !!!! Como va a dormir una niña de 15 años y dos adultos en una cama ??? Luego me tocó pagar adicional por la cama extra, según el hotel era porque era una menor , pero en la reserva específicas y te preguntan la edad del menor . Según el hotel me hicieron un precio especial por la cama extra. Cuando llegué había solo toallas para dos personas . Nunca volvería a este hotel

Mi estancia de tres días en el Radisson Blu Shanghai ha sido excepcional. This is a hotel that exceeded expectations in actual experience, and what was truly impressive were the service details. Just when I was troubled by some problems, Justin helped me. He was very professional, humorous, and attentive, and he considered many details for me, which ultimately allowed me to resolve the trouble perfectly. He is really great. Surprisingly, I even saw a robot in the lobby, which shows that the hotel has kept up with the times and is not “old and outdated” as described in other reviews.

The hotel location is very good, near People's Square. There is Huanghe Road nearby, a street with lots of good food and very busy. Yuki from front desk is very nice, she explain things carefully. Food is also satisfying，balanced taste, can fit different guests. It was a really great stay

Obsługa (szczególnie Pan Piotr z recepcji: mega-profesjonalna osoba), śniadanie (przepyszne - niech nikt nie mówi, że monotonne, bo wybór jest bardzo duży), lokalizacja (tuż przy Nanjing Road, czyli najsławniejszej ulicy w Shanghai) i super-widoki. Aha - ciekawostką jest, że bezpośrednio z hotelu można wejść co centrum handlowego :)

Очень приятный отель, отзывчивый персонал, есть русскоговорящие, номера большие и чистые, у нас в номере было меню подушек, можно выбрать по своему предпочтению. Завтрак неплохой, стоит 110 юаней. По просьбе приносят воду в номер. Рядом торговая улица.

There was an office in the room. Who does need a desk on holidays? Not me. I can imagine other uses for it to increase the room's cachet.

I asked for a city view which is valid for almost of the rooms (being a tower), and I got one facing West, still nice view. Ask for a city view to the East, to the Bund ((Huang pu river water front), so you will see also the skyscrappers, Shanghai tower. The weird of electricity in the room (we cannot switch on only the bed lamp, unless we have all the other lamps on!). I still consider this minor, overall good hotel.

A really lovely hotel with cosy, comfortable rooms and thoughtful service. We were grateful to Yuki for her kind assistance whenever we had questions. The location is very convenient, every member of staff was courteous and welcoming. It is truly an excellent option for travellers visiting Shanghai, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Super central location well connected with the peoples square metro. The access via the shopping mall next door made it especially convenient for the when it was raining. The breakfast is very varied and one of the best I have tried in hotels in China. The staff is very professional and helpful, in particular Mr. Piotr that helped me a lot during the check in and later during my stay also. It was a great stay!
