Gefallen hat uns alles sehr. Beim Frühstück wäre etwas Käse schön. Im Pool hängen tatsächlich offene Kabel aus der Lampe. (Man braucht für den Pool eine Badekappe, ist aber auch für 2,50 € zu erwerben).

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Close to main sites in Waterford, comfortable beds, however room was at the front of hotel overlooking main road and pub across the road was a bit noisy on Saturday night, not sure if this is due to booking thru other website and not direct on hotel's website. Breakfast was very good and had gluten free options that I needed. Staff were all kind and helpful. Parking option was also greatly appreciated!
crowded hotel bar due to wedding, which can't be helped when you are in a hotel of that size. We just left and had drink across the road at a pub.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Nice hotel with helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. Great location. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Didn't get the opportunity to use the leisure facilities (other than the changing room), but overall I was happy enough with my stay.
The only downside was that check-in wasn't available until after 4pm. As I had a function to attend, I ended up showering and getting ready in the leisure centre changing rooms, which was a little inconvenient.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026I haven’t had a breakfast here yet. If it is anything like the restaurant food I was served at Pier37, the restaurant inside the Tower hotel it will be superb. The room is more like an apartment than a room. The room is very large, the bed is a large and comfortable bed with nice pillows and the bathroom is bigger than some Motels I have stayed in over the years. Everything was spotlessly clean. and my bed had even been remade for me.
Some people will whine and expect Gold Leaf Toiletpaper and Hot and Cold flushing toilets. There was nothing I didn’t like about The Tower Hotel. For me, they covered everything beautifully. Anything i asked for or needed was handled with courtesy, grace and professionalism. My bed had even been remade perfectly for me when I came back from sightseeing. You can’t ask for better than that.

Cleaning service wasn’t the best. There was dirt on the carpet, the bathroom was never cleaned while we were out. We’d put the sign every time we go out, but still come back to find the room the same as we left it. There was no fridge and no espresso machine. For a four-star hotel, I expected more in terms of such amenities than what was there.
