Stunning location, great views. We especially liked the three restaurants, from casual to fine dining. Breakfast had a superb selection, anything you could reasonably think of they offered. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly.

Not really a lot to comment on here. The only issue we had were the wasps which were very prevalent during breakfast and around the pool side restaurant.

Stunning boutique hotel with beautiful interiors and wonderful staff. The pool setting is fabulous and the views are incredible. It’s also a short walk to town and has a shuttle service.

I thought the bar and food prices were over the top and a bit of a rip off. While the breakfast buffet was lovely, I didn’t feel like getting porridge that was €18 and club sandwiches for €36. It was just over the top and unnecessary.

Nemmeno spremuta di arancia fresca, ma succhi commerciali tipo Ace… I bagni delle aree comuni non curati, bidoncini immondizia straripanti di carta, sia zona reception che in palestra dove ci hanno permesso di fare una doccia pre partenza. Assenza di asciugamani (dovuto chiederli in piscina dato che la Spa era chiusa). Sarebbe gradita una maggiore cura e pulizia in un hotel 5 stelle!

Il ristorante per la cena, oltretutto carissimo. Il pranzo in piscina e il personale ristorante piscina erano invece eccellenti. La colazione buona ma il menù accessorio a pagamento mi sembra esagerato .

We so enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel. It's a fabulous location, right on the sea where you can sit and have breakfast overlooking the ships sailing by. The breakfast was delicious, best avocado toast ever! The pool area is stunning and so relaxing. We had a large and spacious well appointed room with Terrace overlooking the garden and the sea. We will return!

We had the most gorgeous stay. Hospitality was top notch, all excursions booked easily through concierge, decor is outstanding and, dare I say, better than the four seasons. The artist of all caltragirone work at the resort is a master and everywhere you look was beauty. We stayed in the isola bella penthouse suite and we plan to return in 2027. Thank you for a beautiful time 💕

Absolutely incredible hotel with stunning views. The rooms were so clean and immaculately kept. Water pressure was strong. Everything was flawless. The staff treated us amazingly as well. Every single staff member from the drivers to the front desk to the pool staff were so kind and sweet. Could not have had a better stay. Drinks at the pool were very expensive but I guess it’s to be expected at a hotel like this. Location is about a 15 minute walk into town but the hotel offers a car transfer service (mercedes van) to take you to/from the town center.

Just left yesterday. Great property, excellent service. The views are spectacular, the pool and lounge chairs are very comfortable. Wonderful setting. The shuttle service is very convenient, super friendly too! Our room overlooked Taormina and the sea, wonderful. Breakfast was very good. My family from Italy met us and loved the property! 5stars with an L is ultra luxury so be prepared! Very clean. They also have a deal with a beach club La Cavalla, shuttle included as well as beach chairs and umbrella. Water was calm , clear.

This hotel is a real gem. If you want a 5 star hotel that is well priced for the market and excellent service and facilities then this is it. The service is outstanding. The main pool is beautiful and quiet with one of the best views in Sicily. The food is excellent and the rooms are nice. They aren’t the biggest rooms but they are really well designed with a great bathroom and decor. Overall this was an excellent stay and we were really pleased we booked it. Nothing to complain about. In fact only complementary points. Would come back for sure

Our stay at Grand Hotel San Pietro in Taormina was truly exceptional and easily one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The hotel is beautiful, elegant and incredibly peaceful, with breathtaking views over the sea and a wonderful atmosphere throughout. However, what impressed us most was the service. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after. Everyone was warm, attentive and professional, while still making the experience feel very personal. We were travelling as a family with our young daughter, and the kindness and attention shown to us made the stay even more special. It is the small details and the genuine care from the staff that we will remember most. The rooms, breakfast, pool area, gardens and spectacular views all contributed to an unforgettable experience. The hotel manages to feel luxurious without being pretentious, which is something we particularly appreciated. We have stayed at many five-star hotels over the years, and Grand Hotel San Pietro genuinely stands out. It is one of those places you leave already thinking about when you can return. The most fantastic stay! The staff was absolutely lovely and so helpful. We had lost luggage and cancelled flights and they were so instrumental in retrieving luggage, extending our stay etc. it was actually incredible how helpful they were! We were traveling with our 15 month old and they were so sweet with her and her needs. The hotel was immaculate, the grounds are spectacular, rooms are perfect. The pool is a dream, food was amazing. It was a 5 star stay. The hotel’s location is also ideal!

My husband and I spent 5 nights at Grand Hotel San Pietro for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The property was very clean and updated, concierge & the entire staff was very attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend & can’t wait to come back!

We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this one tops them all. Everything was superlative. We can't say enough about the staff, the accomadations and especially the breakfast buffet and menu. We had a sea view room with a balcony. The room was meticulously clean and was kept that way with nightly turn down service. We dined in the restaurant our first night and had an excelent meal. In the morning their breakfast buffet was the most extensive I had ever seen in all of Europe. The quality of the food was exemplary. They offer a menu with additional choices. The most significant value to this hotel is the staff. Plenty of hotels offer excellent service, but in addition to that, the staff at this hotel could not be more genuinely friendly. At the breakfast buffet if the staff sees you walking with a plate they will come and take it for you. They are exceptionally attentive. Note: The hotel is located down from the main center of Taormina. It is a 10 minute walk if you chose to do it. However, the hotel has two vans that will shuttle you up and back. In the August heat we did walk down to the hotel twice, but we never walked up to the town center!

Staying at Grand Hotel San Pietro was undoubtedly phenomenal. The team was extremely friendly and offered the beat customer service experience I've ever had. Mind you, I've traveled alot. The scenery and location was stellar. The shuttle made it extremely easy to get around. I'm definitely booking a return stay for next year.

It was one of the best hotels I have ever been. The people, the service, the decoration, the silence, the impressive place with the views. AMAZING

From the moment you walk through the front door all the way down to the spa area, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is spotless. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, and perfect for recharging your batteries. The views overlooking the surrounding area are picture-perfect, and while it’s an easy walk to local shopping and extra restaurants, the hotel’s own pool, spa, and dining are so incredible you’ll barely want to leave the premises. Our room was so comfortable that adjusting to the time change took only two days. The vibe here would be very hard to beat. My absolute favorite part of our stay, however was the amazing staff. From the front desk and service team to the bar and waitstaff, everyone treated us like we were the most important people in the country. I actually took down everyone’s name planning to list them all, but I don't want this review to be so long that people miss the point! We will definitely visit Sicily again, and when we do, we’ll be coming back to stay with what now feels like family at The Grand Hotel San Pietro.

Hello From the moment we were lucky enough to discover Grand Hotel San Pietro in Taormina in 2024, we knew that we had to return! The Hotel is enchanting in every way with lovely private gardens overlooking the crystal blue water. The rooms are decorated beautifully and each one is individually special. Our second trip was for my birthday in June 2026 and the entire staff could not have been more welcoming! We were upgraded to a fabulous room and they delivered chilled champagne and a delicious berry cake. The restaurant was as wonderful as we remembered, the pool area overlooking the water has a new Cabana for lunch and drinks and we enjoyed long afternoons by the pool. We love the charming town of Taormina, but the hotel made it so hard to leave! A huge thank you to every member of your team for such amazing memories.

The hotel is beautiful, with outstanding staff who made our stay truly memorable. The views are spectacular, and the pool area was exceptional—we spent most of our days relaxing there. Our room was lovely, with beautiful finishes, although it was a little on the small side. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. The location is excellent, and the complimentary hourly shuttle service to and from the Old City made exploring incredibly convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying at this property.

One of the very best hotels we’ve stayed at. The location was beautiful, the rooms were fantastic, and the service was impeccable. In fact, the staff were one of the highlights. They were so attentive, friendly, and made our stay all the better. I must give a special mention to Samira, Maria, Luigi, Virginia and Cettina who were all so incredibly helpful in the build-up to this trip, answering all my questions and requests, which made our stay all the more special.

Hotel is beautiful; walking distance to town but they also provide a shuttle (must reserve in advance). Highly attentive service. Breakfast is really nice; many options. No problem getting pool chairs. Shuttle service available to 2 different beach clubs (reasonable rates).

The design, the look and feel. The plants used, like the larger shaped Oliver trees or Bogonvilla trees were stunning colors. The service from start where from basic to exceptional The individuals at reception were always helpful and made sure things going done. The lady on day 1 Franscesco was so welcoming and lovely to deal with. She made us feel at home and you can feel the genuine care

I like the way to looked, it was the colors I expected. The spa was “okay” would not rate this as an example to the levels at Maldives’s or Bali/Thailand. It would great if there were amJacuzzi options for the some rooms. Also the offer of alcohol for the room should be improved. Add prosecco, 1 white and 1 red at customers.

What a gem of a hotel! The photos online aren’t a true reflection of how incredible this hotel is. The rooms, the design, the views, the friendly and helpful staff were all incredible. We loved the beautiful pool area with breathtaking views and great food after a hot day of walking around Taormina. The hotel made our visit to Taormina extra special. I have to mention Antonella in particular as well as the concierge (whose name I did not get). They were so warm and friendly and a goldmine of info and recommendations.

This hotel hits way above its weight with renovated rooms and amenities. Great comfortable rooms, awesome shower and all you can ask for in comfort. At the price point, hard to beat. The gym is very nice as well and food top. The terrace happy hour with live music is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel has the most beautiful scenery and the staff provided just the right amount of attention. It’s truly a resort and not just a hotel. There was also plenty of seating by the pool. They have a great collaboration with a private beach club, which picks you up and drops you off.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and lots of seating. plenty of dining options off property at a lower price point.

This is our 4th visit and have seen an improvement each year on the decor and facilities at this hotel the staff really care and it’s a great location.

The bar closes at 11:30pm even for residents. And the last shuttle bus back is 11:15pm so it’s almost impossible to catch a nightcap,

the shuttle service offered from the hotel to the town was great. Fresh water replenished in the room every day was excellent. Beautiful room with lovely furniture and fixtures.

This is a newly renovated hotel on the hills of Taormina. The decor and facilities are beautiful with a style reminiscent of Capri Tiberio Palace. The staff were great. Beds are very comfortable and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. The shuttle service is a great plus taking us to and from central Taormina at no cost. I was genuinely surprised by the quality and level of service.

Everything was great! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taormina. They offer free shuttle service to the town center, the minibar in the room is complimentary and replenished every day. Their service is amazing and the best part. The views are beautiful and you won’t regret it.

A true five star experience of luxury. You can stay at the Four Seasons but stay here and experience true Sicilian hospitality. The rooms are large and every need is considered - even a hand steamer for those last minute wrinkles. We stayed in an executive suite - the view is spectacular all over but from the fifth floor it's unbelievably beautiful. The staff is not intrusive but available and helpful at all times. Whatsapp any request and you are aided efficiently and effectively. The hotel does not feel overcrowded - you can relax and get away without the crowds. The hotel shuttle takes you to high street Taormina hour on the hour or if necessary more often. The town is a reflection of an ancient civilisation of art and beauty. Really I can't think of a better place to stay. The actual photos of the hotel don't reflect the true grandeur and luxury.

Our rooms were upgraded which was a very nice surprise. The rooms were spacious, bright and had a lovely, large balcony overlooking the bay. The concierge was very helpful. The resort in its entirety was beautiful. Housekeeping was excellent. They also had a lovely buffet breakfast.

We didn't like the hotel restaurant. It was very overpriced and the food was substandard. The concierge asked us if she could make a reservation at the hotel restaurant for us and since we were tired from the day's activities, we agreed. What she didn't tell us is that we would be the only people in the restaurant. Because the restaurant was empty, the restaurant staff swarmed around us every 2 minutes, even to wipe away a crumb. We were so uncomfortable, we could hardly wait to leave. When we checked out, they showed us what we owed plus 10% with no description. We had to ask several times what this 10% charge was for and she finally relented and explained it was a tip for the hotel, but that it was optiona. This wasn't at all apparent from how the bill was presented.. I've done my fair share of traveling and staying at 5 star hotels and never have I seen a hotel do such a thing.

Ho fatto prenotazione il 9 marzo, con cancellazione gratuita fino al 31 marzo; il 24 marzo mi comunicano che non saranno disponibili Spa e piscina; l'1 aprile mattina, poche ore dopo l'addebito della mia carta di credito, mi telefonano e mi comunicano che non possono ospitarci, e che ci propongono (impongono, visto il preavviso) un "upgrade" presso un altro albergo, anch'esso 5 stelle. Ho trovato il comportamento per niente adeguato (non potevano avvisare prima ?) e poco trasparente (non mi hanno comunicato il prezzo della diversa sistemazione offerta, palesemente inferiore a quanto ho pagato).

I recommend this hotel to everyone planning a trip to Taormina. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and clean. We stayed in an executive suite, and the view from the spacious balcony was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed with a separate wet closet featuring a large shower. The lighting was subtle with motion-detector night lights in the bathroom, hallway, and closet. Electrical outlets near the desk made charging devices convenient. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel at home. They assisted us with tours and transfers and were always ready to take us to the city center and local restaurants. They responded instantly via WhatsApp whenever we reached out to them. Breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, was delicious. We didn't want this experience to end and were sad to check out. We would return without hesitation.

Everything! The view and the workers were unbelievable. It truly felt like a 5 star experience.

We were due to go to the Grand Hotel San Pietro in July last year. First of all when we booked our room the hotel took twice the amount from our credit card ( €7548 extra ). We had a right pain actually getting them to repay us. They were totally unhelpful and basically said that we had booked two rooms instead of one. As this was a non refundable rate they didn’t want to repay us! The second €7548 was taken from our account a week after we had booked the room. We actually thought this was fraud, and our bank stated that this should not be done. Took ages to get them to repay us. Unfortunately i had a mini stroke the week before we were due to go and could not fly on doctors advice. On contacting the hotel they were totally unhelpful and when asked for a credit note or ascertaining whether we could move the dates, again they were totally unhelpful and didn’t even reply to our emails or telephone calls. They ( of course ) did not repay us or moved the dates. Awful. Another hotel we booked for the same stay could not do enough for us, immediately gave us a credit note ( even though this booking also was non refundable). We will be visiting this hotel ( Bastio Suites ) in May. We will stay well away from the Grand Hotel San Pietro. Terrible inhuman service.

Everything was perfect. The staff were really friendly and always had a fast response for whatever we needed. The hotel has a shuttle service to the city center that is awesome, very helpful. Amazing room (great balcony view, big bathroom), pool, gym and breakfast.

Absolutely excellent hotel in every way. We think without doubt the best in Taormina having visited most. Fourth visit in August and more cracking every year. The delight of this real oasis is that the hotel is superbly run and has the best staff we have come across (photos below) out of the 23 hotels we have stayed in the last 12 months. What an awesome stay at the Grand Hotel San Pietro! The shuttle to the main area of Taormina was very helpful for us. Our room was wonderful. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The food was very good but the buffet breakfast was my favorite. There was live entertainment at the bar a couple nights. All the bartenders were great. The entire staff was always friendly and engaging. Everything was perfect...the room, staff, food, location.....we cannot wait to return!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They are also very professional and bend over backwards to ensure your comfort during your stay. The breakfast was outstanding, the service during breakfast and at the restaurant for dinner was outstanding. The hotel pool was lovely and the shuttle service was a welcome addition to the stay. We would definitely return and stay again. Thank you you too the hotel staff that recognize my husband‘s birthday and made it special by having a cake made for him and presenting it to him during breakfast. He was very thrilled!

Breakfast was amazing; Gabriella was wonderful. The pool was lovely. The valet and shuttle staff were very helpful and accomodating. Gabriel at the pool was also fantastic.

There was a lot of staff for the amount of guests so there was a lot of “fussing” during breakfast. We asked the concierge for restaurant recommendations as we were meeting friends for dinner but the staff kept recommending the hotel restaurant and offered no other options.

Ein wunderschön gelegenes Hotel mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ein Highlight. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist beeindruckend. Der Pool wunderbar. Auch die moderne Ausstattung der Zimmer ist perfekt.

Way Over priced.

Great location Amazing staff

We ended up at this hotel after having a problem with a 4 star hotel (at best). My family loved staying at this hotel. Housekeeping did an outstanding job twice daily for all of us. The entire hotel staff was great. They made the start of our vacation something we will always treasure.

I’m not sure the hotel itself or the staff could have been better or nicer. From the moment we were greeted as our taxi pulled up, to the moment we departed, we received white glove service. Our room was beautiful and faced the sea. We had our own large patio/terrace to enjoy the view. A shuttle was available to take us to the city center and pick us up when we wanted to return. The shower was large and never ran out of hot water. The bed was amazing and we both slept like babies. I could go on and on about the service but let me just say they were very attentive to every need without question. The hotel is expensive but you get what you pay for. This was one of the finest stays we have had anywhere. If I were to pick one slight “issue,” it would be the WIFI was just ok. But the service, staff, food and the hotel itself were all 10/10.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel San Pietro, with excellent accommodations, service and conveniences. Located via a short walk and steps from the main center for excellent food, shopping and people watching. Fantastic time and can’t wait to go back!

The view of the Ionian Sea from our room was mesmerizing. The service was wonderful the reception was so kind and helpful 5 stars . The spa - my massage was amazing ,deep tissue , with dry and stream saunas followed by a hot tub and view of the sea . The pool atmosphere and other guests were very friendly and social and the setting is spectacular. Breakfast on our terrace with a view of the Sea was complimentary . I left my nice Sunglasses at the spa the day before we left . Upon check out , the glasses had not been found . The manager credited our bill for both my wife’s and my massage 200 euro . 5 minutes later housekeeping found them and he still honored the credit . The shuttle leaves every hour but they make every effort to provide a special extra pick up or ride to town .We stayed 3 nights . They also honored the Amex $100 credit . The snacks in the room plus a bottle of wine and waters were all complimentary. You pay for luxury and it feels that way at the Grand Hotel Dan Pietro it’s no wonder they have a 5 stars Luxury rating .
