Excellent and quiet location, yet only a few minutes' walk from the heart of the shopping area. Great ocean views with a beautiful pool, small but solid gym, and an innovative spa which incorporates local products. High quality breakfast and lovely rooftop bar, too, with very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, clean and stylishly appointed rooms with large bathrooms.

€35/day valet parking should be included for a hotel at this price point, and the large, beautiful lobby area could be put to more effective use such as another full bar or restaurant. Rooms are a touch dark due to the small windows, while the shower room cubicle was a bit tight with certain amenities not topped up when we arrived.

From the warm welcome at the front desk; to the accommodating efforts of the Housekeeping staff; and including the attentive service of the Restaurant & Bar Service Team; no wish or whim is left to chance. The Breakfast service is outstanding, both in variety and quality, as well as care and attention from the staff. Monica, Mary, Stefano, Giuseppe and Emmanuela are quick on their feet and watchful of whatever one may need or desire. Sarah's guidance as Concierge is invaluable. Her dedication to follow through with plans and reservations is admirable and deeply appreciated. Warmest thanks to Eleanora, Giovanni, Valeria, Cecelia, Clarissa and Lorenzo for welcoming us warmly and cultivating a space and feeling where we wanted to stay forever. We will certainly return to this wonderful hotel and its dedicated team. Thank you.

This was our 2nd trip to Taormina, but the first time at NH Collection. We both felt that this experience was much better due to the hotel’s comfortable bed and room, as well as the ideally situated location and proximity to the town center, including the Teatro Antico, where we attended the Il Volo Concert, which was amazing and ever-so-memorable! Fabulous service was provided by not only Giovanni and Clarissa in Reception, but also by the housekeeping team (Diziana?), as well as Stefano, Monica and the rest of the breakfast team. The hotel has a working relationship with the beach clubs, so we went to La Caravella Beach Club. We were picked up at the time we selected (both going and returning). It was a short drive to the lido, a stunning, ever-so-clear water mini-paradise. Be sure to bring water shoes (or, perhaps buy a pair from a vendor that may stroll by), and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at the open air restaurant The pebbles throughout the beach and in the sea are beautiful. We had a most memorable stay and highly recommend NH Collection. PS: upon departing, NH Collection gifted us with a small ceramic to remember them by.

From the minute you walk in you feel special. The staff are all so friendly, polite, helpful and attentive. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Taormina and I cannot find anything bad to say about it.

Myself and my wife took their presidential suite, and wow, what a joke! For their "very best" the room we had had a broken sink, bath on/off button that was not attached to anything and was faulty, the shower was smaller than a UK phone box and was very worn and dated. After switching on the spa tub, located on the roof terrace, it leaked and came through the ceiling of the bedroom, we had a huge leak that we feared would collapse, paint around the ceiling leak also started to immediately flake and looked like it had been snowing! There initial solution, "pop out for a few hrs and we will paint over the leak area"!! This could not have been the first water issue as we counted 5 botched ceiling patches whereby they have cut a hole, placed a piece of plaster board and refixed with silicon. After complaining several times we were finally moved to their other Suite. After seeing the same ceiling patches in this room we switched on the air conditioning. It didn't work!! we had two different maintenance workers turn up who simply turned the room power off and just said "it will reset after 10mins"! it never reset. After having no sleep due to the room temp we again complained, this time we were told, air conditioning is broken on our floor!! this new room also had a new spa tub canopy installed moments before and was left with screws and waste pieces on the floor. Breakfast - tried an omelette (that you have to pay extra for!) and was raw in the middle! overall breakfast is very basic and they have a toaster that doesn't even toast! maybe why the roof terrace restaurant was always empty? Hotel Pool - if using be quick, we noticed that people were taking the very few sunbeds at 9am and most lose their sun mid-day. Cherry on the cake - compensation for the many issues we endured was cut in half and the customer relations manager denied all knowledge even though it was a face to face conversation!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff were very attentive and friendly yet efficient and professional. The room was lovely. It's position is ideal for the heart of Taormina. The pool area was immaculate and staff were constantly keeping it tidy and replenishing towels etc. The views from our balcony were excellent, as is the view from the pool and the rooftop bar. We really didn't want to come home and would definitely visit again.

A concierge made a booking error with me and I just apologized and said there was nothing I could do, I believe she should have tried to resolve or minimize the situation.

The NH collection hotel in Taormina was an excellent hotel and a wonderful experience. The staff at the hotel were extremely professional and courteous and kind. All the restaurants were incredible. I was extremely impressed with this hotel and I Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Taormina.

Our stay at NH Collection Taormina was fantastic from beginning to end. What stood out the most was the exceptional service from the front desk team. We initially booked a room that wasn’t quite what we had expected. Although the hotel was fully booked for our first night, the staff handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism. They offered to move us to a beautiful suite at no additional cost after the first night, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and made a huge difference to our stay. It’s this kind of customer service that truly sets a hotel apart. The hotel itself is outstanding—modern, elegant, and perfectly located within walking distance of everything Taormina has to offer. Our suite had breathtaking views that we looked forward to every morning and evening, making the experience even more memorable. The breakfast was excellent, the facilities were beautiful, and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. A sincere thank you to the entire NH Collection Taormina team for turning what could have been a small disappointment into an exceptional experience. Just incredible…the breakfast selection/presentation is outstanding; the staff is incredible and extremely accommodating (especially Monica, she is a treasure). The hotel is just beautiful and I wish I had the names of ALL of the staff to thank but here are a few —Emmanuela, Angelo and Gabriel. We highly recommend NH Taormina and will be back!

If you want to look at the best view in Taormina, you got it. The rooms are spectacular, the service is amazing.

⭐☆☆☆☆ They Did Not Just Change a Room. They Ruined the Reason for Our Trip. We booked NH Collection Taormina six months in advance because three lifelong friends, traveling from Brazil, Venezuela, and Miami with our partners, wanted to reunite and spend three meaningful days together in Taormina. This trip was not spontaneous. It took months of planning, international flights, coordination, and commitment from six people. We chose NH Collection Taormina because we trusted a recognized hotel brand to protect such an important experience. On the day of arrival, that trust disappeared. Without proper notice, the hotel decided to send one of the couples to another property more than 20 minutes away. In a matter of minutes, they destroyed the entire purpose of our vacation. We had not traveled across countries simply to sleep in separate hotels. We came to share breakfasts, evenings, conversations, and memories together. What made the situation even worse was the lack of empathy, accountability, and urgency from the staff. There was no serious effort to find a solution that kept our group together. We were treated as reservation numbers instead of guests who had invested time, money, and emotion into this reunion. A respected hotel should understand that hospitality is not just providing a bed. It is honoring the experience the guest trusted you to protect. To anyone planning a family reunion, anniversary, celebration, or meaningful trip with friends: think very carefully before booking here. If NH collection Taormina can separate a group after holding a reservation for six months, then no important occasion is truly secure. The greatest disappointment was not the inconvenience. It was realizing that our experience simply did not matter to them.

Stay here! My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in June. Our luggage stayed in Chicago and the staff was so helpful trying to get our luggage back to us. Angelo the valet was a wealth of knowledge and always very friendly when we came back to the hotel. Monica and Jeanluca took care of us at breakfast, the pool, and the rooftop. Their service was impeccable. Sarah at the front desk was instrumental in getting our luggage from the Sicily airport and so helpful on things to do around town. Stefano on the roof top made our last night memorable. Lauren gave me a great massage in the spa. The room was great; the bed was very comfortable, and the extra amenities were so helpful. When we go back, we are definitely staying here. They made us feel like family. So many of the staff have been there for many years. They love the management and their jobs. Speaks well for the organization.

We were very pleased with our stay at the NH Hotel in Taormina. The location was perfect as it was only steps away from the main town with all the shops and restaurants. The staff was so welcoming and thoughtful with respect to our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who prioritizes location and service above all else. The hotel has a very good location. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It is within walking distance to shops, cafes, and restaurants. It has a nice pool. The staff was beyond excellent. I had lost my passport, and they went out of their way to help me with everything I needed. Very patient and attentive. Honestly, that was the highlight of the stay.

With respect to the price you pay, you don’t get the quality you deserve. The hotel needs cosmetic refurbishment need specifically the exterior areas.

The hotel rooms are clean. Breakfast service is good.

They charge you for parking, 20 euros per day. And if you decide to go out at night for a drive after 8pm, you won’t be able to valet the car again (for the service you already paid for). Facilities? Only the small gym (barely a gym) is free. The spa: you have to pay for everything per the hour. You want the sauna? You have to pay. Want to the steam room? You have to pay. For massages it is fine and it expected to be charged for that. But their excuse for sauna and steam room being chargeable is that it is not part of the hotel (even though it’s literally in the hotel). The pool is good size but it’s not clean. You may find occasional bugs in the pool. For the price they charge, it’s just not worth it.

Hotel was prestine and had everything you could hope for while you stay in Taormina. Very close to the town and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Absolutely recommend.

We absolutely love this hotel! The proximity to the shopping area, Teatro Greco Romano and the other sites is so convenient for any visitor to Taormina. The hotel is maintained immaculately, rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Last evening we dined at Zafiero, their rooftop restaurant. A spectacular sunset and an orange moon were accompanied by a scrumptious salad prepared by Chef Giuseppe along with a delicious pasta dish, called la linguina which is a must try if you enjoy seafood. My husband and son enjoyed the zuppa di verdura and two different fish entrees which were prepared to perfection. Chef Giuseppe combined the best flavors of Sicily for these dishes which are not to be missed. We met him and he was so gracious! Importantly, I must absolutely thank Monica and Stefano who are so very kind, welcoming and treated us so very well which only made our evening dinner so special! If we have a chance to visit Taormina, we will absolutely stay here. Lastly Danielle at the pool was so welcoming and helpful, along with the front desk.

A bit overpriced

Our stay at the NH Collection Taormina exceeded any and all expectations. This is a beautiful resort that delivers on the highest level across the board -- attentive, personal service from a wonderful general manager (Amedeo Zaffino, who took time to greet us personally and welcome us) and staff (Giovanni, Gabriel and Emmanuela, all of whom went over and beyond to help however possible), an over-the-top breakfast buffet with made-to-order items offered as well, a to-die-for infinity pool that overlooks the Ionian Sea, and cozy, stylish rooms guaranteed to provide a good night's sleep. The location is perfect. It offers incredible views since it's perched high on the hillside above the sea, and is a short jaunt to Corso Humberto, the long pedestrian street lined with chic boutiques, designer shops and pottery stores and a host of wonderful restaurant options. The NH Collection is also a very short walk to the Roman Amphitheater and the Public Gardens - both must-sees when in Taormina.

The NH Collection hotel in Taormina was outstanding. We stayed 4 nights in May, and we loved everything about the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A big thanks to Valeria, Alessandra, Clarissa, Lorenzo and Angelo, along with those who worked the wonderful breakfast. The location was great. We were able to easily walk to anywhere in Taormina, including the trail that leads up to Castelmola. Highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Taormina.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for 4 nights in May 2026. What a beautiful hotel and the staff were outstanding! Our travel agent moved us here from another area hotel, and imagine our surprise when we got to check in and Valeria tells us we’ve been upgraded - to the Presidential suite! It was like wining the lottery! Our friends got a Junior Suite and were also thrilled with their room and facilities. We loved all of the touches in the lobby areas - fresh flowers, candy, snacks and water, always available. The breakfast buffet was the best we had during our three weeks in Italy - better than all the other hotels! Custom made omelets, pancakes, French toast, pastries and cakes, fruits, coffee to order - it was truly a wonderful feast every morning! I also used the workout room in the spa for lifting weights. I had to search for the lighter weights, but they are tucked in under the workout bench. Very nice, private and quiet facility. Overall, Taormina was our favorite city and this hotel was definitely our favorite hotel during our three weeks visit throughout Italy. We highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is in a great setting at the higher level of Taormina so the views are spectacular. The hotel itself is immaculate - really clean and fresh, exemplified by the superb spa and gym. All the staff can't do enough to help - they work as a team to make our stay so pleasurable. As a great example of that team we will highlight Giovanni on reception. He couldn't do enough to help - he recommended and booked a first class Godfather tour, he recommended and booked two excellent restaurants - and even printed a map of Cafania for our day trip there. We had the pleasure to spend some time at the NH Collection Taormina. Beautiful city, and a wonderful property. What really jumped out to me was the frendliness of so many of the people we encountered, especially at this woderful hotel. It's location is excellent, just off of the main pedestrian zone, as are the rooms and furnishings. Among all these exemplary aspects one person's small acts of kindness shine through. We enjoyed our stay at the NH Collection Hotel in Taormina. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and speak some English. The location is just above the main pedestrian street. The rooms are generously sized and well appointed. I think this hotel is a great value considering all the amenities and location.

No pudieron arreglarlo porque eran las 4 de la tarde y ya no estaba el de mantenimiento. Dangerous bath—design-driven bathtub is a real danger getting in and out. Plus the rain element is so gentle that it is difficult to wash your hair once you do finally get in. Wouldn’t stay here again!!

We booked a " Supposedly Presidentail Suite" and got charged in ecxcess of Euros 1,220 per night. What we did not realise is the price was inflated due to the balcony which we did not in fact use. To add salt into the wound, the same Suite was being offered during our stay at Euros 900.00 per night. Regrettably, we will NEVER EVER go to an NH Hotel again.

Our stay at NH Collection Taormina was faultless. From the warm welcome at reception to the ideal location, comfortable rooms and beautiful pool, it was a heavenly 3 nights away. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage von Taormina. Wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade mit Blick über Taormina erhalten. Tolle Aussicht. Der Service war top, das Frühstück sehr gut. Der Parkservice über einen externen Dienstleister hat sehr gut geklappt und kostet 20€/Nacht.

Einziges Manko war die Sauberkeit.

A wonderful hotel with great facilities, very good breakfast buffet, awesome location and an outstanding group of staff. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Taormina

Pleasant hotel with great views but a very tiny bedroom and a bit shabby. The walls were paper thin which meant we heard every conversation, cough, sneeze, snore and tv from room next door. Also the plug sockets were loose and coming away from the wall. The shower was over the bath but the sides of the bath were so high that as an older couple we had difficulty getting in and out of it and it also leaked over the sides leaving the floor wet and slippery. The bath was non slip at the end where the shower was but dangerously slippy where you got out and I banged and hurt my leg. Breakfast was good and the staff pleasant.

Reasonable Hotel in a great position.Way over priced for what you get.The service provided by Angelo and Sarah was top class.Unfortunately, this was not shared by the rest of the team.The place needs better and stronger management and more quality control.Regrettably, there is NO value for money at this Hotel.

The breakfast could definitely be improved. While the selection was decent, I would expect more from a five-star hotel of this standard. In let’s say the US, this might feel acceptable, but here I was hoping for fresher, healthier options—perhaps freshly squeezed juices, higher-quality eggs, better coffee etc. Overall, it lacked that memorable, high-quality touch and felt more like something to eat and forget rather than enjoy.

Der Contractor markiert aber auf dem Protokoll erstmal ab allen Kotflügel Schäden um sich abzusichern. Aufpassen - nicht unterschreiben.!! Website bietet early Bird breakfast an, wenn man früh abreist - um 7.00 (7.30 regulär Frühstückszeit) war es nicht mal möglich einen Kaffee zu bekommen, stattdessen gibt es eine maximal trostlose Breakfast Pappbox. Für 5 Sterne, 600€ die Nacht (Vorsaison Preise!) Armutszeugnis. Insgesamt keine Empfehlung.

We had a remarkable experience at the NH Hotel Taoromina from check in to check out. The entire staff was exceptional. Most notably, was Sarah T. (Guest Relations Manager) who sat with us at check in to educate us on getting around Taoromina, recommending restaurants for dinner during our stay and making the reservations. Sarah goes above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed at the hotel.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous close enough to everything yet off the main streets. Staff exceptional. Room was beautiful balcony as priceless. Breakfast was wonderful overall must stay.

Very impressive sea view from the room. We stayed in one night and in the evening the AC was not strong and the staff, especially Gabriel, helped us change to a much warmer room. The view from balcony has a small mountain and ocean which was five-star scene. The breakfast is also diverse, we tried Sicilian cannoli there.

Arrived and were greeted by Giovani who should have been a UN diplomat. Nothing was too hard to do. Firstly he had our car juggled between spaces in the limited outside parking. We had booked a room with a view, however ours was on a lower floor so when asked if there were any on a high floor, he looked at the screen and immediately upgraded our room and wa-la, we were up there with a fabulous view. He had our luggage delivered without a prompt and it was nice to see an employee who had the philosophy of "the guest comes first'. Breakfast was on the ultra new mezzanine floor with a wonderful selection, just not cakes and pastries which most European hotels think make a great breakfast. Room spacious and well appointed with coffee/tea facilities. The view from the hotel roof garden worth the visit. If we return to Taormina in the future, this would be our hotel of first choice.

Csodálatos volt minden! Rendkívül kedves, mindenben segítőkész személyzet, csodálatos és kényelmes szoba. A reggeli hatalmas választékkal és minden nagyon finom! Mi a Karácsonyt töltöttük ott, Szenteste volt lehetőség ebéden résztvenni a saját éttermükben, igazán hangulatos volt. Kutyával érkeztünk, még fekhely is volt bekészítve neki. Arra viszont készülni kell, hogy a város területi adottsága miatt nem lehet helyben parkolni, a kocsit egy szolgáltatás keretében elviszik és parkoltatják, ha szükség van rá, hozzák.

Our stay at NH Collection Taormina was wonderful! The staff went out of our way to way to make our stay special. We were on our honeymoon and when we arrived at the hotel the staff brought champagne and cookies to our room. On our last night they gifted us a beautiful ceramic pine cone. Sarah was incredibly helpful scheduling reservations and a tour of Mt Etna. We highly recommend NH Collection Taormina!

I loved how I was greeted, Angelo welcomed me with perfection kindness and friendliness. Valeria in the check in was another wonderful surprise exceeding my expectations

Would have liked a stationery bike in addition to the recumbent bike

Every detail was extraordinary. The staff was friendly and kind in a manner that comes from being authentically caring. The daily evening treats, the sumptuous breakfast prepared with care. Amazing hotel. Wonderful location.

Great service, helpful employees. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Only thing I didn’t like is I couldn’t lock the bathroom door in my room, and the doors were glass, so you could see through the top and bottoms of the door. Otherwise, my stay there was awesome.
