Food price and quality, didn't meet my expectations.

1) Мы жили в 4 корпусе. Прямо напротив была реконструкция. Стройка во время отдыха! Ремонтные работы начинались с 7 утра. Перфоратор и прочие звуки! Тем более мы просили тихий номер! Это недопустимо на отдыхе! Отель должен предупреждать перед заселением или предлагать переместить в более тихий номер, или компенсировать стоимость. Со стороны отеля было только письмо с извинениями на 3 день. Это было самое неприятное. 2) Так же очень расстроило во время выезда, когда нас уже ждало такси и мы торопились в аэропорт, сотрудница рецепшен стала говорить о неуплате за трансфер во время въезда. Пришлось доставать документы и тыкать пальцем в оплату. Затем она стала вызывать старшего на помощь. Потом она засомневалась в оплате ужина. Хотя у меня были все чеки и я доказал все. Но почему это не делается сразу во время получения денег и оплаты не вносится в расчет с клиентом сразу по получении средств??? Очень слабая бухгалтерская отчетность-на бумажных носителях. Почему это надо делать во время выезда и ожидания такси? Очень слабое место в работе отеля! 3) Так же очень низкое знание русского и английского языков, используют переводчики. Ну можно хотя бы ставить в смену хотя бы одного понимающего английский или русскоговорящего сотрудника. Спасибо Татьяне, русской девушке. которая помогала с общением. Она молодец, очень внимательная, хотя только начала работать в отеле. 4) Практически все сотрудники не здороваются при встрече-это обращало внимание. Здоровались только сотрудники старшего возраста. Молодые вообще нет. 5) очень неудобное расположение туалета при входе и душевой кабины возле балкона-диаметрально. Удивительно неудобно "Баня здесь, а раздевалка через дорогу". В туалетах нет биде или гигиенического душа.

Понравились бассейны, красивая территория.

Номер староватый, нужно обновление. Грязный ковёр на полу.. Запах сырости в номере. Еда не вкусная и дорогая. За завтрак с нас взяли дважды.

Отель поживший, но чистенький. Дизайн микс локального стиля с шале. В целом не плохо, привычно для уровня сети. Кто любит стабильность и привычку - Wellcome! Много дерева и мрамора. Номера уютные, комфортные. Персонал отзывчивый, но не говорящий по английском. Приходилось изъясняться через переводчик в телефоне. Основные отдыхающие локальные туристы, поэтому наверное и сервис настроен больше на местную аудиторию.

На завтраки каждый день приходилось стоять очередь по 15 минут. Рацион разнообразный с локальными и европейскими блюдами. Но все время на раздаче все быстро заканчивалось и приходилось ждать когда обновят. В номерах скудный набор снеков.

Nichts wirklich. Habe noch nie eine so schlechte Erfahrung mit einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse gemacht. Eine einzige Abzocke! Es ist Gaesten nicht erlaubt an den Tischen in der Lobby zu sitzen ohne etwas zu kaufen! - wo gibt es denn sowas ...? Mehrfach wurde ich aufgefordert, etwas zu bestellen. Das Personal ist nicht ausgebildet, versteht nicht ein Wort Englisch und ist unhoeflich. Von einem Hilton fuer die Uebernachtungskosten haette ich mehr erwartet. Das Hotel laesst sich gut mit einem Bahnhof vergleichen so ueberlaufen war es. Ein einziger Massenbetrieb fuer Chinesen und Russen (und wer das mal erlebt hat, weiss wovon ich spreche). Zum Fruehstueck musste man sich anstellen!! ... eine unglaubliche Situation. Draussen sitzen kann man vergessen; ich verstehe wohl, dass Klimaanlagen draussen nicht funktionieren, aber dass das Management nicht auf die Idee kommt, Ventilatoren aufzustellen spricht fuer den Mangel an Kundenorientierung. Nie wieder! Nie wieder Sanya und nie wieder Hilton! Wer als Europaer nach Asien kommt sollte Sanya per se meiden.

Beautiful property location and close to beach and amenities and a small plaza nearby about 7min walk with restaurants and supermarkets.

pool actually a bit small for my liking. A big section of the pools were blocked as they lead to private rooms. I did not like that I had to wait 15min or so to get breakfast. Sometimes longer - this is something I have never experienced before in a 5 star hotel. There are too few seating areas in the lobby. On the final day I was waiting for my taxi, I sat by the teak cafe and was told I needed to buy food or drinks to stay there. I complied and asked for some drinks but as we had a big party I moved some seats around the table so we could be seated together. This was not causing an obstruction - I was told this was not allowed and told I had to sit outside in the heat. A very disappointing end to the stay with a rude member of staff who failed to realise this. I suggest that you do not kick your guests out of the seating area when they are awaiting transport and sort out your breakfast capacity.

Очень красивый отель, территория как тропический сад, удобный выход к морю, завтраки отличные, жезлонки у бассейна и на море всегда в наличии, полотенца и вода безлимит.

Отдыхали в Hilton Sanya, в целом всё понравилось. Территория красивая и ухоженная, номера комфортные, персонал вежливый и всегда готов помочь. Завтраки хорошие, есть большой выбор блюд. Пляж и бассейны тоже оставили приятное впечатление. Но больше всего нам запомнились вечерние выступления с живой музыкой. Особенно хотелось бы отметить кубинского певца Reynier Gorina Ortega. У него прекрасный голос, очень харизматичная подача и замечательная атмосфера на каждом выступлении. Благодаря его музыке вечера в отеле были по-настоящему особенными. Именно эти концерты стали одним из самых ярких воспоминаний об отдыхе. Спасибо за такие прекрасные эмоции!

Не смачна їжа і персонал не розмовляє англійською, усе китайською і російською, тільки бачуть словʼянську зовнішність то відразу усе на російський, ангел мовним немає ні інформації, особливо на рецепшені не володіють англійською, це було дуже не зручно

Хороший пляж, ужины на пляже очень вкусные, очень красивый и уютный отель, все удобно и близко расположено. Брали номер с выходом в бассейн, такие номера в Шератоне лучше. Но сам отель нам больше понравился, больше ресторанов. Ресторан морепродуктов выше всяких похвал.

If you pay with card they’ll charge you 17% more, plus there are a bunch of photographers, so sometimes they will anoy you and ask you to move so they can take photos, it was really anoying, not a relaxed experience at all

Очень чистый красивый отель с чудесный территорией и ухоженными садами. На территории можно погулять и насладиться растениями, озером, фруктовой плантацией ( увидите, как растут ананасы!) и прекрасными черными лебедями!!! Номер был очень приятный с отличной уборкой и всем, что необходимо. Персонал приветливый. Завтраки отличные, огромный выбор различных блюд, все очень вкусное, ресторан чистенький и уютный. Вечером очень хороший буфет и приятная музыка у бассейнов.

Очень долго выбирали отель для пляжного отдыха в Санье и остановили выбор на данном отеле. Не пожалели! Отдых в отеле оценят те кому нравится комфорт, отсутсвие толп (несмотря на то что в отель мы прибыли в разгар китайских праздников, места хватило всем). В интернете начиталась отзывов о том, что на пляжах Саньи проблема с лежаками, а когда у тебя 3 ребенка- это первостепенно. В 8-9 утра приходили на пляж, свободных мест было предостаточно, да и после 11 часов лежак можно было найти. Читала отзывы, что номерной фонд уставший. Да, отель не новый, но чистый и уютный, халаты и банные принадлежности меняются ежедневно. Питание разнообразное, есть варианты досуга для детей и хорошая детская комната (как в помещении, так и на улице). При этом детская зона в стороне от пляжной зоны и зоны бассейнов, поэтому отдыхающим без детей также будет комфортно. Локация очень понравилась. Прежде всего отель расположен на самом комфортном для купания пляже. Отель практически последний в цепочке отелей, протянувшихся вдоль пляжной линии Yalong Bay, рядом Ritz Carlton и Marriott. Благодаря чему в отеле немноголюдно и комфортно на пляже (без толп). При этом в пешей доступности кафе, едальни и супер маркет. Если хочется большего разнообразия можно на такси (оно в Китае недорогое) проехать до Swiss Hotel, либо мин 20-30 пройтись пешком. В этой зоне с развлечениями и питанием дела обстоят отлично и количество людей уже на порядок выше

Довольны всем

Довольно чисто и спокойно. На 90% семейный отель, преобладают местные, но русские тоже есть, соотношение примерно 80/20. Так как китайцы боятся солнца, днем зона бассейна почти пустует, как и сам бассейн. А вот к вечеру они тоже выходят к бассейну) Понравилось что при довольно крупном размере отеля сохраняется вайб спокойствия и умиротворения. Не донимают аниматоры, не долбит громкая музыка. Если устали от Турции и Египта-точно хорошая альтернатива. Пляж небольшой, но места нам хватало Были включены только завтраки-довольно вкусно, но для эвропейуев выбор небольшой. через неделю, уже приелось

Главное разочарование -это детский клуб. Точнее его отсутствие почти). Выбирали отель в первую очередь ориентируясь на то чтобы ребенку было чем заняться, по фото-показался прям лучшим вариантом. По факту: 1. Детский клуб на вото сейчас уже не работает, его переоборудовали в ресторан, а сам клуб перенесли на цокольный этаж отеля. Там тоже в целом не плохо, но.. 2. ПОСЕЩЕНИЕ КЛУБА ТОЛЬКО В СОПРОВОЖДЕНИИ ВЗРОСЛЫХ. То есть никто вам не даст просто сдать ребенка, чтобы с ним занимались и спокойно отдыхать, как работают клубы а Турции, Египте. Это при том что моему почти 9, он вполне мог бы остаться один на этих горках. Так же второй факт, менее значительный, но все же. Далековато от главной зоны с магазинами и ресторанами. Около 30-40 минут пешком. По жаре. 2 раза в день на обед и ужин, конечно не находишься так. Спасало такси, благо не сильно дорогое, 9-13 юаней.

Хилтон один из лучших на Санье но не соответствует 5 ти заездам , это 4 -. Не глубокие бассейны . Не понимаю проблему лежаков, почему отели не купят лежаков так чтобы их хватило и на гостей из соседних отелей. В чем сложность с полотенцами и лежаками в китае( они бесплатные у китае, просто поставьте их)

Боле менее современное все и удобные кровати в отличие от других отелей острова. На острове 4/5 звезд не соответствует привычному уровню. Как правило это 3 ки. Хилтон самый приличный.

Лучшая территория в бухте Ялонг бэй. Гуляли по всем ближайшим отелям. Рускоговорящий менеджер Мария помогла при заселении и интересовалась как у нас дела в течение отдыха, что приятно. Завтрак вкусный, разнообразный.

Мало лежаков на пляже! После 8 не найдёте даже стульев! Лучше бы были лежаки вместо них, неудобно же. Уважаемый отель, разместите больше лежаков на пляже. Гостям приходится вставать в 6-7 утра (на отдыхе!) чтобы успеть позавтракать и занять лежак на день. В отеле скучновато. Нет никакой музыки, даже какой-то нейтральной у бассейна.

Удобное расположение, вежливый персонал, разнообразные завтраки с большим выбором, чистые номера! На любые просьбы моментально реагировали и выполняли!

Public area was good. People at the concierge desk were friendly.

The room smells damp. Facilities in the room look old. The first room we were allocated to smelt so bad we had to be changed to a different room. Staff on the beach are not very attentive. Staff at ritz Carlton next door were much more attentive in comparison and made their guests felt welcome.

Все было отлично

Отель ужасен за те деньги которые платишь. Развод сходу, требуют депозит. С 10 тыс юаней депозита до 3 тыс дошли за 2 минуты. Инфраструктура хорошая, но используется отвратительно. Завтрак полный провал. 1 креветку на человека дают, рыбы нет совсем. На берегу океана на минуточку. Говядины нет, если не считать пирог раз в 3 дня наперченый так, что есть невозможно. Ужин на песке подают, столы и стулья прикрыты тряпками, потому что они ужасны. Туалеты в лобби как на вокзале, разве что не дурка в полу. Отель полное днище на данный момент, менеджмент явно не дорабатывает, деньги выкачивают, услуги не адекватные. Это в Китае, где народ трудолюбивый, аскетичный, товары дешёвые, ресурсов много. Разочарование.

The Buffet BBQ at the beach watching sunset with live music was fantastic and the highlight by far.

1.Персонал. Его ооочень много, стоит только подумать о чем-то сразу появляется сотрудник и если он не говорит по английский, то обязательно имеет на руках аудио переводчик. У нас была накладка во время заселения, но нам сделали крутой апгрейд номера, очень быстро и квалифицированно!На бассейне 5 спасателей! Они даже там где воды по колено, первый раз вижу такое. 2. Территория. Она просто потрясающая, зеленая, ухоженная, много подсветки, фотолокации, фонтаны, бассейн с мальдивским песком, инсталяции 3. Детские развлечения. В номере была детская комната с игровой зоной и детским туалетом, даже косметика детская была, на первом этаже игровая, на улице площадка, каждый час программы для детей, детский бассейн, развлечений масса, но все сделано так, что детей я не видела и не слышала, все удалено от взрослых мест 4. Хороши завтрак, 70% китайской еды остальное европейская, но если разобраться в китайской много всего на наш вкус 5. Отличный пляж, но он одинаковый по всей линии у каждого отеля 6. Есть китайский ресторан на территории, с отличной кухней и морской ресторан, но мы туда не попали, в пешей доступности есть рынок на котором спокойно можно поесть, там вкусно и чисто Мы жили в соседних на букву ш и м поэтому есть с чем сравнить

Такого не было, но если уж сильно придираться 1. На лежаках не хватает мягкой подстилки, они из ротанга и ты постоянно сползаешь 2. Отель не новый конечно есть в номере какие-то эксплуатационные потертости, но все остальные плюсы затмевают 3. Можно было бы добавить разнообразия в европейское меню

Very nice beach section as yalong bay has excellent sand without any stones. Very nice hotel and spacious rooms such that it is perfect for families and I felt like we got a good value for the money we paid. Food prices ces were fair I have to say.

Not much to complain about but I would give the criterion cleanliness an 8 out of 10. And the walls are very thin such that you can always hear a lot of sounds from other hotel rooms.

Good Beach side location with direct access. Supermarket and food area half an hour walk away quite vibrant and good fun.

Very old and tired hotel. Dirty, mouldy, water marks, rust, stains, dirty carpets and the mouldy damp room and corridors smell!! I had to keep my window open all day to try to make it a bit better. Not a 5 star hotel, needs an update. I had the room with the bath in the window, so weird. The room was dark so would have been nice to have the table and chairs at the window and not the bath! Breakfast ok but such expensive resort prices for food and drink at other times! I didn’t bother and went to restaurant strip. Also spent most of my time in the beach and not at the pool. Pools ok but nothing too amazing, clearly a family resort with heaps of toys everywhere.

不要再标榜丰富儿童玩乐了，儿童来了，早就被熏死了。这一情况不仅违背了国家关于建设生育友好型城市的规定，为市民创造健康生活环境，尤其是保障儿童免受二手烟危害是建设生育友好型城市的重要内容，该酒店此举显然与之相悖。同时，也违反了《海南省爱国卫生管理条例》，其中明确规定室外公共场所设置的吸烟区不得位于行人必经的通道上 ，而酒店这些吸烟区位置使得住客在正常通行时不可避免地会经过，暴露在二手烟环境中。 Stop touting your "abundant children's entertainment facilities" — by the time kids arrive, they would have already been choked by the smoke. This situation not only violates the national regulations on building "family-friendly cities" (a key part of which is creating a healthy living environment for citizens, especially protecting children from the hazards of secondhand smoke), but the hotel's behavior is clearly contrary to this goal. At the same time, it also breaches the Hainan Provincial Patriotic Health Management Regulations, which clearly stipulate that smoking areas set up in outdoor public places shall not be located on the necessary passages for pedestrians. However, the location of the hotel's smoking areas forces guests to inevitably pass through them during normal movement, exposing themselves to secondhand smoke.

Нам очень понравился отель! После проживания в Хилтоне у нас ещё было забронировано проживание в соседнем Мариотте, сравнили и поэтому на 100 % в следующий раз вернемся в Хилтон! Заселение. Это минус! Приехали раньше, нам сказали , что номер не готов и подойти позже. В итоге Заселили только в 15.30. Ну да ладно. Мы до этого спокойно изучили территорию и искупались в море. Номер большой, оригинально расположена ванна и душ около балкона, мягкий ковер у огромной кровати. Все в номере продумано на 5 баллов. Завтрак на самом деле больше ориентирован на китайскую кухню, но всего много! Омлеты, выпечка, супчики, много нарезанных и штучных фруктов. Вкусный кофе из кофемашины и различные виды чаев( в пакетиках) Территория-шедевры зелени и бассейнов!!!!!Есть 2 бассейна для деток-вход по песочку, джакузи в тени под навесами, лагунные бассейны(закрываются в 18 ч), прямой бассейн( он работает до 22 часов). Шезлонги всегда свободны и вообще днем до 16 часов почти никого нет потому что отдыхает в основном местное население. Номерной фонд различный-есть номера с выходом в бассейн. Где-то из 4-5 номеров выход в один бассейн. Если номера выходят на противоположную сторону от моря, то там тоже зелень и пруд с живущими там черными лебедями . Очень понравилось вечером прогуливаться вдоль пруда, рассматривать рыб, лилии и лебедей. Зона спа-согласна запущена, а была, видимо, очень красивая! Рядом с ней водопад и небольшой сад с разными растущими фруктами: Драгонфрукт, ананасы, манго и т.д. Хороший детский клуб около бассейнов и супер новая площадка для детей с другой стороны корпуса. Море супер, зона для купания выделена большая, шезлонгов на пляже хватает всегда. Полотенца выдают на пляже и у бассейна. Так же на пляже есть кулер с водой и одноразовыми стаканами. Ужины проходят на улице-барбекю и внутри здания. Магазины есть рядом с отелем Мариотт, там же и несколько кафе на улице и внутри супермаркета.

Und hat alles gefallen. Das Essen, die Ausstattung, das Programm für die Kinder. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Poollandschaft. Die ist einfach ein Traum! Nicht weit vom Hotel kann man shoppen und sich in den kleinen Garküchen das leckere Essen schmecken lassen.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sandy Su from Housekeeping during my stay at Hilton Yalong Bay. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Her warm smile and thoughtful service truly made me feel at home. Thank you Sandy， you represent the Hilton brand with excellence!

The Hotel is one of the better hotels on this strip of Yalong Bay. Sanya has been labelled as the Hawaii of the region. I think this is over stated and nowhere near compares to the fabulous beaches of Hawaii. The hotel does cater very well for families and children so if you are looking for somewhere quieter go elsewhere. The whole region is very crowded with Chinese who move south to get some warmth after the colder winter in the northern regions. Its also packed out with Russians who are doing the same thing. Its a big hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with all the extras you would expect in a five star hotel. Breakfast was good but very limited for western appetites. We thought the food prices were exorbitant so we went up the road to the food markets who offered much better value. The beach area is pleasant but not always possible to find a vacant space under one of the beach thatched umbrellas. The hotel gardens and pools are excellent.

Terrible Experience at Hilton Sanya! Do Not Recommend, Especially for Families with Kids! Our room was paid for starting April 4th, but we arrived at the hotel on April 5th at 1:00 AM due to a late flight. Despite this, they made us wait until 4:00 AM to check in—meaning we lost almost an entire night that we had already paid for! I’m a single mother traveling with two children (a one-year-old and a nine-year-old), and forcing us to wait for three hours in the middle of the night with a baby in my arms was unacceptable. Because of the delayed check-in, we missed the included breakfast. We had to order an overpriced paid breakfast instead, which took 1.5 hours to arrive—while my hungry children cried. When it finally came, it was a disgrace: just scrambled eggs, rice, and coffee. They had the nerve to charge us $200 for this! But the worst part? The mold in the room. It was everywhere—in the bathroom, on the walls, even on the furniture. As someone with allergies, this was dangerous, and for small children, exposure to mold can lead to serious respiratory problems. I demanded a room change, but they claimed all rooms were the same. Even worse, this is supposed to be an international hotel, yet NOT A SINGLE STAFF MEMBER SPEAKS ENGLISH—only Chinese! How is this acceptable for a global brand like Hilton? The old man Hilton himself would be rolling in his grave if he knew what a disgrace his once-luxurious hotels have become! Hilton Sanya is a complete scam and a health hazard! We paid for a full night but got nothing. The hotel is dirty, outdated, and negligent—especially toward families. Never staying here again! Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. Important Notice to the Hotel Management If you do not provide us with free meals for the remaining 11 days of our stay, I, along with my relatives, friends, and acquaintances, will write negative reviews every single day in all languages on every booking site and travel platform exposing how terrible your hotel and service are. We will make sure no traveler ever considers staying at Hilton Sanya again. The choice is yours—compensate us properly, or face endless bad publicity.

Its a comfortable hotel on a very nice stretch of beach- Yalong Bay. The area is not exactly the 'Hawaii of China' as its stated to be. That's overstated. The room was adequate and comfortable and the food prices were exorbitant for what you get. Breakfast also good but very limited Western food.

Hilton Yalong Bay - All-Sea View Suite (Room 8510) I stayed in the All-Sea View Suite (Room 8510) at the Hilton Yalong Bay, which is located on the top (5th) floor of Building 8. This spacious suite is about 100 square meters and offers one of the best views in the hotel—there are only two of these suites in the entire property. Pros: Unbeatable View: The view is truly spectacular. You can enjoy unobstructed ocean views right from the bed or bathtub. When you open the balcony door, you can hear the soothing sound of the waves. On clear days, you can even catch the sunrise over the sea from the balcony. Excellent Service: The housekeeping staff was very attentive and thorough, keeping the room spotlessly clean. Noticing that I drank a lot of water, the staff thoughtfully provided a full case of bottled water without me even asking. Cons: Small Shower Area: The shower is relatively small, which feels a bit cramped given the overall spaciousness of the suite. Dated Décor: The hotel has been open for some time, and the room’s décor feels a bit dated, with a lot of dark elements that make the space appear darker than it actually is. I recommend staying one night in this suite to enjoy the stunning view (since too much sea-gazing can get a bit monotonous). Afterward, you can switch to a more budget-friendly room and enjoy the pool or beach activities. This also saves you from waiting for your room at check-in—the concierge can bring the room key directly to you and help with luggage.

Loved the 5 star chinese rural coastal location. South China Sea beautiful. Beautiful ecology, quiet & refreshing. I say Hilton is there with the best of the resorts. Grounds are probably the best. Had a beach front room just paradise. Can't say more. Not enough English or Russian spoken by staff.

Nothing: the worst experience in hotel in my entire life.

Customer service, pickup from the airport (only 6 seats car?!?!), if you order cold water they serve you hot water and after that they just add ice in the hot water, they don’t exchange currency (unless it’s USD), food selection at menu is limited, personnel only speak Chinese, no facilities at the beach, at the check-in no one explains to you how the hotel functions and where are the facilities.

Old facilities and stuff did not speak English at all. Pool was dirty my son got fever because of a bacterial infection. The hotel room door wasn’t sound proof at all and had trouble sleeping. The breakfast was okay however not many options there

There are many activities for the children, but not much for adults. Since there is not much to do in the immediate area, something for the adults would be nice. No coffee in the room.

We went on vacation for 14 days to Hainan. We booked a week at the Rirz and second week in this hotel. The only reason we booked this hotel is because they present them selves as a family hotel with child friendly facilities. When we arrived we were given s room with steps in the room they made me sign a waiver that there after step s and of my child falls is not their problem. How is that child friendly???? Then we go to the pool. There are steps all over. Ours child is still in the baby carriage, every 30 feet wet have to pick up the carriage over the steps. Not child friendly at all. Hotel is old not as clean as you expect the Hilton to be. Hotel was prepaid. I went to the manager told him we were very unhappy They were nice to refund the whole amount. We moved to the next door ST Regis hotel which was less expensive but very nice

The best resort in Sanya is where you can see a lot of rainforest in the mountain area also the people are very kind and friendly. the transportation is very easy to find. Some foriegner from europe are also common for business trips and for leisure.

The Hotel is nice but the staff is rude and the manager acted completely wrong. He lied to us about many things and one day he said that we could not go out cause the rain. I cannot understand how he got that job. Do not go to this HOTEL!!!!!

I don’t like writing bad reviews because it usually clouds good things about the hotel-however in this case I can’t say that is true. First, we called the Hilton Yalong Bay the day of booking and spoke to Manager “Koi” on duty at that time. later that week (1-2 days later we arrived), (July 16/17 booked through Wechat), we were told the beach was in swimming condition and safe for 3/4 year olds. Arrived July 19th (they have airport pick up but didn’t bother sharing that information), we got to the hotel-we played in the pool for most of the day, saw construction happening however our son was fine in the pool so we figured -“go later after his nap”, later after the nap a notice was delivered on paper to each room by a service worker who stated that the beach will be out of service for three hours. In Chinese-no other language available for notice. The next day we decided to make that “the beach day”, after the rain, we headed to the beach where we were stopped at a beach chair barricade and told that the beach is closed and if we choose to disregard and go down now BEFORE construction starts, there is no guarantee we will have access to the hotel from the beach entrance meaning we would need to sneak into the beach entrance of another hotel down the way or leave via public beach access and find our own way back. We decided to go and at least see the finished portion of the beach. We walked down to the water-unfinished, choppy waves (not safe for children), and frankly quite polluted as many dredging ships were going along the coast while backhoe fleets were levelling the section of the beach directly behind Hilton (almost exclusively). Around 4:40pm (10 minutes before I wrote this review we were told the beach is out of commission for the entire day-got notice about beach closure at the next of the day. Nice *insert sarcasm here*. Many upset patrons of the hotel refused to accept that there was no compensation, especially after the rain out of the BBQ Buffet the night before of 398RMB :/ Here I am-writing this as a warning to #stay at the Pullman hotel if you are set on a Yalong Bay resort as they provide golf cart service to the public beach access and offer generally all the same things as the Hilton-the construction is not of Hilton and should not state they know the construction will be done soon as it is public beach. The beach construction has changed the beach into a more aggressive wave beach than what it has been in the past where one could walk pretty far out into the water before getting into swimming depth of the beach (it seems). Recommend checking Haiting as their beach seems to be relatively free of maintenance. For Hilton, I’d suggest compensating with HHonours Points as offering to switch to room to ocean view from garden view is a bit of an annoyance (especially on the last day of the stay), and is bit tarnished by the amount of long arm excavators and dredging boats in the pictures :/ After being told that they would get a flood of bad reviews this month of July they have now offered to upgrade the room free of charge OR extend checkout to 2pm…well, thanks for trying. I am indeed sour as originally we considered the Pullman but the direct access to the beach was specifically why we chose the Hilton. Many people made similar statements. By the way breakfast buffet is bland in flavour, decent selection but the only thing with flavour other than beverages is the bakery selection. 150¥ or whatever it was, I’d only pay 100¥ MAX for what the quality of the flavour they had-snob note, an omelette is not a fried egg wrapped around a sausage XD sorry Hilton. Sincerely disappointed. Better marketing and advertising for the future is what I recommend.

Is was a really good experience. Definitely we will repeat. The staff is really nice and all English speakers, the spa is also good and the beach is nice. The location is great one of the best spots of the island surrounded by a lot of options for dining. The people in the reception helps us with all of our questions, also give us discounts for the spa. Also the guys in the beach are really nice.

The hotel has the most beautiful garden and pool scenery with an amazing look over the ocean that we saw so far. Therefore we had amazing 11 nights in this hotel. Unfortunately there were also a few negative points: - bad quality of the walls, we heard a lot of noise from neighboring rooms - to be improved service quality (e. g. not very professional reception staff) - less choice and high prices in the hotel restaurants

We were here for two nights. As a Hilton diamond member, I received a room upgrade to a beach front room in building #8. Fantastic sea view! This property has different styles of pools such as canal pools, lagoon pool, and children pool. Room was comfortable and functional. Hilton diamond members received free breakfast buffet for two adults per room.
