After many years of staying in some of the world's finest luxury hotels, we can honestly say that **Casa Angelina has earned a place on our extremely short list of absolute favorites**—alongside only two exceptional resorts in the Maldives and one iconic hotel in Dubai. That alone says everything. From the very beginning, every detail was flawless. The private airport transfer was outstanding. We were collected in a luxurious, exceptionally comfortable vehicle by a highly experienced driver whose professionalism was particularly reassuring while navigating the Amalfi Coast's famously narrow, winding mountain roads. It was the perfect, stress-free start to our holiday. Our room was simply breathtaking. Designed almost entirely in elegant white, it felt modern, sophisticated, and immaculately maintained. Everything looked and smelled brand new. The panoramic view over the Bay of Naples was mesmerizing, and every morning we woke up to scenery that seemed almost unreal. The room was beautifully equipped with every imaginable comfort, while the luxury bathroom amenities were of the highest quality. The beds deserve special recognition. The mattress, pillows, and exceptionally luxurious bedding provided some of the best sleep we have enjoyed in any hotel. Combined with the peaceful atmosphere, every night was wonderfully restorative. Housekeeping was absolutely impeccable. The room was cleaned with extraordinary attention to detail every single day, often exceeding the standards we have experienced even in renowned five-star luxury properties. What truly distinguishes Casa Angelina, however, is its people. Every member of the staff—without exception—was genuinely warm, smiling, attentive, and highly professional. Whether at reception, housekeeping, the restaurants, or by the pool, every interaction felt sincere and effortless. Their hospitality made us feel not simply like guests, but genuinely welcomed. The pool overlooking the bay is another highlight. Peaceful, elegant, and perfectly maintained, it offers spectacular views that make it difficult to leave your sunbed. Breakfast each morning was exceptional. Every product was of the highest quality, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Fresh local ingredients, outstanding pastries, excellent coffee, and attentive service made breakfast something we looked forward to every day. Dinner at the hotel's all-day restaurant was equally impressive. The menu offered a wonderful variety of beautifully prepared dishes, all enjoyed on a magnificent terrace overlooking the sea. Every evening combined excellent cuisine with one of the most romantic settings imaginable. But the true masterpiece of Casa Angelina is undoubtedly the fine dining restaurant on the fourth floor. Dining there is not merely dinner—it is an unforgettable culinary journey. Chef **Leonardo** is an extraordinary artist. His tasting menu is filled with delightful surprises, and every course is a masterpiece, beautifully plated and perfectly balanced. Many ingredients come from local fishermen and regional farms, allowing the authentic flavors of the Amalfi Coast to shine. Every dish feels personal, creative, and thoughtfully composed. Watching the sunset while enjoying this remarkable experience high above the bay creates memories that will remain with us forever. A funky modern hotel with fantastic sea views from the restaurant, bar and pool, plus a garden area and access to the sea via 'a few' steps. Well staffed with very friendly people, a great evening restaurant as well as a great wine selection. The pool area is lovely and the gym is also very good. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our 7th stay at this incredible piece of Heaven. The staff are all - and I mean every single one of them - intelligent, polite and absolutely focused on creating an exceptional experience for their customers. Unlike many other hotels on the Coast, Casa Angelina is a modern, fresh and beautiful property. It has undeniable class. The food is out of this world - do not miss having dinner at piano nel cielo, it’s the best food in the area (we’ve had dinner at le sireneuse, Conca del Sogno, monastero Santa Rosa among other places and Casa Angelina is absolutely the best). The rooms are of course spotless and the ladies who clean them intelligent and caring when attending to them. You have two “lounging” options - one quieter experience at the pool upstairs and one at One Fire Beach downstairs which is great fun. Try and explore Praiano - it’s lovely (and quiet unlike its crowded neighbours). I can’t recommend this beautiful place enough, it’s an extraordinary place staffed by kind and intelligent people.

We could not have asked for a more attentive, engaged and caring staff. From arranging for a doctor visit, or miraculously getting us “Fast Pass” at the airport ( our driver was 45 minutes late) without which we certainly would have missed our flight or the very least, gotten separated from our luggage. In so many instances, from house keeping, to dining, to the concierges desk, the team at Casa Angelina exceeded our expectations resulting in the most elevated and enjoyable hotel stay we have ever experienced. Well done! We hope to visit with you again, in the mean time, we are “raving fans”, encouraging anyone considering a visit to the Amalfi coast to plan some of their stay at Casa Angelina.

Casa Angelina is a very special place. The minute we walked in we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff. I have been to many hotels in my lifetime and the concierge at Casa Angelina is by far the best I have seen. They are quick to meet your every need always with a smile. The service at this hotel is exceptional. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The decor is warm and inviting. The pool area is great as well as the beach club down below . If I could give this hotel ten stars I would. It is officially one of my favorites.

The hotel greets you with daily gelato when you arrive. Staff are excellent and remember your names. 2 hotels onsite and the one on the top floor overlooks the Positano shoreline. Absolutely stunning. Room was upgraded to ocean view and Although a little small compared to US hotels it was nicely designed with all the white. We had complimentary champagne and fruits in our room. Free shuttle van available to guests into the town of Positano which is only 5-10 min. Away. 2 pools onsite as well. The water was very very cold but relaxing. Pool service for snacks and drinks available. Would visit again!

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. We normally stay in Positano at Le Sirenuse but Positano has become so crowded we decided to try something a little different. The fit and finish of this property is impressive. It has a modern Italian feel throughout the property. The breakfast was next level. Some of the best pastries we had on our entire trip through Italy. The area although very close to Positano was much more quiet which we enjoyed. If you want to head over to Positano, they will take you via car or adorable buggy (see pic) free of charge. Our room was spacious and so well appointed with the best of everything. We had a lovely terrace and enjoyed it every night soaking up the amazing views. The hotel is situated close to the town and they have “shortcut” access to get into town. We walked everywhere. There is a beach club that the hotel has access to just below and not gonna lie - it’s quite a few steps but that’s the almalfi coast for you (steps galore). We had a blast at the beach club! We also enjoyed the pool everyday. Absolutely would stay here again. We had another hotel booked in Praiano and we switched it up last minute after reading some of the reviews here. We are so glad we did, we had a wonderful time.

I should give it to this place : heavy luxury at its best The staff bends over backwards to serve you but in very respectful way Very clean, very exquisite Great food, both for breakfast and dinner BUT: Everything works great, when there are not that many guests. Once the hotel is getting crowded, isome things become mediocre at best. Forget about the sunbeds near the pool - they are always taken, because they are set only for like 20% of the guests. The same goes for the main restaurant - you won't get a table on the terrace, 'cause while there are tens of rooms in the hotel, there are only 6 tables. ( 250 steps to the beach, and no other decent places to eat nearby makes these issues quite important) I, personally, believe that for 1500 euros per night one should be eligible for a dinner table and for a sunbed. Thus, it is not a luxury place for me.

Great complimentary shuttle into positano and an amazing beach club. The most delicious breakfast with an incredible view of Positano. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

This is Hotel where every detail is thought through and beautifully executed. The stunning location is only a part of what makes Casa Angelina so special. The staff are amazing and the food is simple and exceptional. The hotel was pristine and the rooms were incredibly comfortable.

Staying at Casa Angelina is a very special experience. Everything about the hotel is world class. The location and view from the rooms is one of the best in Europe, in fact, the world. The staff are available, friendly and willing to respond immediately to any request. The range and quality of the food at breakfast, and in the casual dining restaurant was excellent. We did not use the fine-dining restaurant. The rooms were immaculate, the toiletries supplied top quality and to your choice. Housekeeping was attentive. I think the room received attention 4 times a day. When your eyes take a break from the spectacular view, the hotel boasts a wonderful collection of whimsical sculptures. We used the complimentary valet parking and the car was returned to us having been washed and valeted inside. If only the car hire people had taken the same effort before I picked it up. Oh, and they have a gelato cart in the driveway. The hotel is expensive (although not the most expensive in the area) but we did not regret a penny spent at this fabulous haven.

My wife found this gem in the Michelin Guide, and I was very skeptical about the high price (it was last minute and busy season, but the rates are more reasonable if you avoid peak summer). I am writing this review almost a year after my trip because I was discussing one of my best and most memorable hotels, and Casa Angelina was at the top of the list. The staff is very courteous, food was excellent, and the views were phenomenal. I hope I get a chance to go back soon. Only suggestion to management that I can think of - just offer the gelato at the entrance at no cost to your guests for their entire stay. I remember a free scoop when I checked in and then there was a charge which took me by surprise. The goodwill from your customers will be much better than the $20 you earn per day by charging your customers.

It took my wife and I a while to come to grips with the price, but once we did, we did not look back. This was the finest hotel we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The location is stunning. The building is immaculate. The rooms are spectacular. The restaurants are superb. The bartender makes a mean mojito. And the staff, well, they were the best. They are graceful, charming and thoroughly engaging. They were there with answers to all out questions and helped us with drivers, etc. Casa Angelina is not inexpensive, but if you're willing to pay the rate, it is worth every Euro.

luxury , Italian, ravishing, I don't have more words to describe it, we enjoyed every moment. the only thing is that the place is far from the main attraction but we booked a boat trip with Dolcevita charter and a private car tour in Ravello and they come close to the place

This hotel ticks all the boxes. Views to die for, just down the road from Positano, so no huge tourist crowds and noise. They have a water shuttle or van to Positano if you wish to go. The staff is impeccable, catering to and also anticipating your needs and requests. Food is excellent, bartenders, ditto! The decor is calming and the collection of glass art is fun and everywhere and adds the pop of color against the whitewashed contemporary interior. Poolside service is great. Our room was amazing, with plenty of space, a wonderful terrace with endless ocean in front of you and a lemon trellised barrier to separate our terrace from the one adjacent. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. Nice bathroom, although for myself personally the tub/shower combo was a little bit of a high climb in for me at 5’4”. I would have preferred just a walk in shower, but not complaining since they upgraded us on check-in. (It was our 40th wedding anniversary trip to Italy) We loved all 6 nights we spent here so much that we never ventured out at night to go to dinner in town. If we have the chance we will be back! GRAZI to all who made our stay so special.

Casa Angelina is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was like heaven. If you like to relax and like to eat and drink well, you will love it here. The staff are amazing too! Things to do include a shuttle to the next town, Positano, which is a must do activity. The hotel has breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno and village of Positano. You can also take nice walks and enjoy their beautiful pool and gym. The location is somewhat remote (but you may know that already); you will need a car service to get there. The hotel concierge is fantastic and will arrange it. They advise taking the high speed Frecciarossa train to Napoli Centrale and meeting your driver there. It’s a one and a half hour drive from there to Praiano. Yes, it’s an expensive hotel but you will be glad you stayed at Casa Angelina. I saw one review where someone complained about staff expecting tips. No one pressured us for a tip. On our last day we tipped the key staff members who waited on us and cleaned our rooms. Do this discretely and at your discretion. The turndown service is epic. Think of this hotel as a country club. Little children are not allowed and guests dress nicely for meals. It’s an upscale and very civilized place. The manager is omnipresent and runs a tight ship. It’s super clean. We hope to return one day. But there’s more of Italy to see, so who knows?

Everything was so lovely here. Truly a gem and we appreciated that it was close to positano but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded. The staff really went above and beyond to make our stay incredible.

By far, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I celebrated my birthday with my family. The staff at Casa Angelina made my day feel special from start to finish! The Chef even made a delicious cake that accommodated all of our dietary restrictions. I'm looking forward to returning someday soon! Thank you for making my birthday perfect!

We had yet another wonderful stay at Casa Angelina and it remains our favorite hotel in the world. It was our third time coming back after we fell in love with the place a few years ago. Thank you for the room upgrade for our 15th anniversary! Everything was fabulous: breakfast, cleanliness, pool, Seascape staff and food, room was immaculate. We wouldn’t change a thing. Many thanks to the whole staff for a special stay and a particular extra thank you to so many who spent time chatting with us and made our stay exquisite, specifically Domenico, Francesca, Angela, John Mario, Daniel, and Claudia. Grazie Mille! This hotel is a special place and we prefer it far more than the comparably (or even higher) priced Positano hotels. We will be back!

I would give this hotel a 20/10 if I could. Everything about Casa Angelina is pure perfection - from the staff, rooms, turn-down service, food (omg the breakfast), overall ambiance, ease of activities and access to the beach, Casa Angelina exceeded all expectations. We stayed here before our wedding in Ravello and it was the best decision. The staff took the most incredible care of us and ensured we were well rested ahead of the big day. The quality of Casa Angelina is beyond words and we cannot wait to one day return soon.

Our family arrived at Casa Angelina after traveling a week in the Dolomites and Venice. During our travels we stayed at two other 5 star hotel properties, both which exceeded our expectations. Yet the Casa Angelina property and staff is a level above them all. The “Casa” experience was top shelf: exceptionally warm and attentive staff, excellent food, impeccably clean facilities, manicured landscape, all wrapped up in the charm and privacy of the Praiano coastline. We cannot overstate how responsive the concierge staff was to our every request. They made us feel like it was our home away from home. The front office team deserves 5+ stars!!!

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in this lifetime, this hotel was my absolute favorite. Staffs were extremely accommodating and kind. I had tons of questions regarding traveling to Italy for the first time and the staffs of Casa Angelina has helped me tremendously during this trip. Everything was down to the detail. Housekeeping made our bed every day and night. They kept our room tidy like our mother!! They even went the extra miles to organize our cables, give us nighttime chocolate and eye masks. I felt extremely special during my stay here with my fiancé. The views and breakfast here was also another highlight. They even had a pool and gym that was never crowded and you felt intimate at all time. Best hotel ever.

I have already traveled to several countries. and I've stayed in several good hotels. but this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. the hospitality, the staff, the room, the environment, the breakfast, everything was flawless. They're perfect with everything. They treated my husband and I very well. We would like to back to praiano just to stay in this hotel again. The trip is good when we can be comfortable and they make us feel like this is even more.

Stunning hotel excellent view very nice staff and exellent breakfast and diner at the restaurant of the hotel. This is really a place in paradise. You can walk to the small town Praiano. The hotel has a shuttle to Positano. We will certainly come back here.

First, definitely stay in Praiano or another nearby town instead of crowded, tourist-trap Positano - which is more like a budget cruise ship tumbling picturesquely down the Amalfi Coastline than it is a charming town you'd want to spend any significant time in. But back to Casa Angelina. We stayed her on recommendations from friends who have been to the Amalfi Coast multiple times, and their recommendation was righ on target. Super chic and stylish. White on white on white everything (with a full-time touch-up painter on staff to keep it that way, we're told), resulting in a stylishly stunning perch above the Tyrhenian Sea. The pool setting - with its views of Positano and lemon tree arbor overhead - is, if anything, even more stunning than in all of the photos. Service was over-the-top spectacular, from our arrival to our departure, their high ratio of staff to guests resulted in amazing service and attentiveness. Breakfast was the best we had during our 2+ month-long trip, and that's saying quite a bit, considering the many 5* hotels we enjoyed. Dinner was absolutely amazing - both the setting and the gastronomy, but we'll post that separately. The only qualifications are in cost and room size: 1. Rooms at Casa Angelina are super expensive; likely? worth it, but really, really expensive. The cost does cover the high ratio of staff to guests and complementary shuttle service (sometimes by Mercedes sedan, sometimes by a van), as well as hotel facilities, amenities, and services one would expect of a 5* hotel. But still; really expensive. 2. Our room - Romantic Sea View - lived up to the view moniker (we woke up each morning to views of Positano and Capri further in the distance), but was really, really tiny. The balcony was equally undersized, with barely room for two chairs. 3. Drinks are super expensive. Our benchmark for cost of living everywhere we visited was the universally (and daily) consumption of Aperol spritzes. The low was 5 euro in Palermo; an average was about 15 - 17 euro, exemplified by really nice waterfront restaurants in Portofino. Casa Angelina's by the pool were head and shoulders more expensive than anywhere else our entire trip at 30 euros a pop. No regrets at all, but the cost of enjoying everything Casa Angelina had to offer was something of which we were continually reminded. Would highly recommend, just bring your wallet!

What a gorgeous stay all around. It’s not that easy to get to unless you hire a private transfer but it’s worth it! The staff and attention to detail is second to none. The food is out of this world and the pool is heated for cooler trips like ours. “Dolce far niente” Casa Angelina is the place to live your best life!

The design, the fun art, the level of service, room comfort (the house keeping team / standards are incredible), the casual restaurant with suburb wine list, and the amazing breakfast…note to forget the lemons & the views….

Casa Angelina is a sophisticated, elegant hotel with first class service, incredible attention to detail and staff that are professional and want to ensure that your stay is perfect. We are vegan and the staff and chefs went out of the way to make sure our experience was complete with tailored food options. The Michelin star restaurant was amazing and the views at sunset breataking from the open terrace.

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I knew that we had made the right decision with Casa Angelina. The staff is first-class and does everything possible to go that extra mile. As for the property, it is beautiful with an amazing view of the water. The food, drinks, and attention to detail are astonishing. After day one, we decided to extend our stay at Casa Angelina by an extra day. I only wish we had canceled our trip to Naples completely and extended our stay an additional five days. The property provides wonderful transportation to and from Positano, making getting around very convenient. In addition, if needed, they will arrange for a private driver or boat to explore the area. I can go on and on about the team at Casa Angelina, but I would be writing on forever as they are wonderful. It was such a special vacation that after returning from our trip, I immediately began to plan our return trip for the next season. So do yourself a favor, make the trip to Praiano, and get away from it all at Casa Angelina.

Flawless! My wife and I stayed at Casa Angelina for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We were blown away. We have travelled a fair bit but we have never received service like what we received at Casa Angelina. The room, the view, the food but most of all the people. Just incredibly warm and helpful. Special shout outs to Francesca and Antonio for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

It is impossible to describe CA with a words or with iphone photos. It just does not do the justice to this super special place and people who run it. If you think you have been to a fantastic hotel before then you need to come here to see what THE FANTASTIC hotel really is. It is out of the world. Staff will treat you like a royalty, but so naturally. Nothing is too much for them. Design and art works everywhere. How details fit together - work of a genius. Rooms - talking about how clean and well equipped they are is meaningless because there is so much more. Purely white without a single scratch, all add-ones one can imagine, including Bang-Olufsen TV, Dyson hairdryers, CA flip-flops, beach bag, house perfume and lemon candies as a gift. And fresh flowers every day Food - having a lobster paccheri watching over to Positano and then home made delicia al limone is something money can rarely but. In four days stay we didn’t have a single bite outside of CA. CA is like home you can’t have because home is never perfect. CA is. Dolce vita at its best!

I’m scared to write this review as I’m worried about turning more people on to this outrageously beautiful, shockingly luxurious, and wildly attentive hidden jewel (not a gem, a diamond to be honest) in Amalfi. First of all - any visitor to the Amalfi coast needs to know; it can be stressful. Crowds, cars, weather, boats, the works - all need to be taken into account. However, at Casa Angelina; we rarely ever felt like leaving. First, the decor and design - modern, clean, beautiful, not a single thing out of place or off, nothing offensive - like a contemporary design museum where everything fits in. My husband and I stayed for two nights and had a gorgeous corner suite. Everything was brand new, and nice tech touches; rare in Europe. They had Apple TV and in-room iPads, for example. Everything was easy to understand and work. The views from this hotel are indescribable - human vision can barely comprehend the scenes you’ll be soaking in from your bed, the couch, the lobby, the terrace, etc. The staff: incredible. Made me feel like family. Spent time talking to you, getting to know you, and making recommendations. I witnessed quite a number of times the staff dealing with “fussy” customers with grace. Every team member went out of their way for you, and honestly I can’t wait to be with them again soon. The Food: Chef Leopoldo is a master. From the breakfast (I won’t spoil it here but it’s not your typical luxury hotel buffet. I stayed at 3 hotels in Amalfi and this was hands down the best) to the other on-property dining moment (Chef Leopoldo introduced me and my husband to a special type of local squid, and then showed us videos of how he personally went to fish it the night before) - it was nothing short of magic. My husband and I love “infiltrating the locals” and Praiano is good for that. A short 5 minute walk from the hotel and you’re sitting a the town cafe sipping espresso with locals and eating 10 euro pizzas. So cute. The rest of the hotel experience: We stayed fit with morning Pilates (just wait til you see where they hold it in the garden…), enjoyed the lemon tree pool, and just generally did what you should be doing on holiday - relaxing. Seriously…can’t recommend this place enough. We ran into guests who were lucky enough to be spending a full two weeks on property, and they looked like they’d just gotten work done: a glow from within and a smile permanently on their face. Be sure to book it with Leading Hotels of the World’s loyalty program Leaders Club. They have a lot of hotels in the country and give great perks!
