The view from my balcony was great. Breakfast was 10/10. The room and bathroom were both very small which makes the value feel like it was not worth it.

My only complaint was the lighting in the corridors it felt really sterile to the rooms and the lack of view in my room we were overlooking a wall with a small window in the room. This is probably my fault for not reading it properly that certain rooms were like this, but for the amount of time we spent in the room it wasn't worth paying the extra for a view and it certainly didn't affect my holiday .

I loved the location in Praiano. It was convenient to Amalfi and Positano without staying in the busy tourists areas. The staff gave exceptional service. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make sure guests are happy. I would highly recommend

Great situation in the village, definitely at the right end. Close to other bars and restaurants. Didn’t have a poor experience all week. We ate at the hotel and the food and service was fantastic. We also ate at Il Pino twice and Che Bonta. 3 times. Bar Mirante gets a special mention. Sunset drinks are a must, Mario and the team were fabulous.

The view of Positano from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Like anything in life, it’s all about the people — and the staff here were first rate. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. A special mention to Roberto, who organised dinners, water taxis and anything else we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Roberto helped make our trip very special. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Beach is quite far and once you get there you have to pay for a chair from EU100, would be nice if the hotel had a few chairs available down there for guests.

This was the most beautiful family run hotel in Priaino with the best views on the Amalfi Coast. Even the tour guides on the Amalfi Coast say Priaino has the best view of the sunset over Positano! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and we had a gorgeous sea view. The pool area was peaceful and never too busy and the perfect rest if you didn’t want to adventure around the coast! The food was absolutely stunning both in the evening and breakfast. The breakfast felt so homely with home baked goods as well as eggs, bacon and tomatoes and then the evening food was like a fine dining experience - on the pricier side but totally worth it!! The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were so welcoming. There was not a single fault with the stay!

Our stay at Tramonto d'Oro was truly unforgettable. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with spectacular panoramas that make every sunrise and sunset feel special. The service was equally impressive. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you're looking for a place that combines incredible scenery with exceptional hospitality, Tramonto d'Oro is a wonderful choice. We would happily return.

the insulation of the doors might have been better as the noise from the hallway can be a bit noisy, but that is cause I am a light sleeper my wife and girls did not notice

What impressed us most was how quickly and efficiently they addressed our concerns and went above and beyond by upgrading us to a magnificent, spacious suite. This hotel is simply amazing .Let me start with praising the staff that were friendly and gave us good recommendations about restaurants around the hotel.The room that was with generous size , very clean and comfortable,Beautiful terrace . The pool and the rooftop bar were welcoming with nice music and good cocktails. Breakfast was superb and the view was simply breathtaking. Carmella the owner of the hotel was so welcoming and made us feel at home. It felt that Carmella cares for each guest personally.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredible — so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring no matter the time of day. They truly made us feel at home throughout our entire stay. The views are breathtaking and worth every second. The walk down to the beach was stunning and honestly great cardio with such beautiful scenery along the way. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate anything we needed. The only small downside was the hot water not always staying consistent during showers, but aside from that everything was wonderful. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again!

There was honestly nothing that I did not like. The pool was closed during our stay, which was unfortunate - but if we came at a later time, it would have been fabulous. The pool deck was beautiful and super clean.

Allt tar toppen! Utsikten helt fantastisk. Personalen var toppen. Alla var väldigt måna om att man skulle trivas. Frukosten var jättebra. Vi åt på restaurangen 3 kvällar och det var jättegod mat. Praiano var en lungn liten by jämört med t.ex Positano och andra städer runt om . Bra om man inte vill ha det för livat där man bor.

Ingenting egentligen. Ett plus hade varit om poolen var öppen men det visste vi på förhand att den inte skulle vara så inga konstigheter.

Se esiste un posto dove il tempo si ferma per lasciarti senza fiato, è senza dubbio Hotel Tramonto d’Oro. Qui il tramonto non è semplicemente bello: è un vero spettacolo naturale che ti resta dentro. I colori del cielo che si fondono con il mare creano un’atmosfera quasi surreale, difficile da descrivere a parole. Le stanze sono semplicemente pazzesche: spaziose, curate in ogni dettaglio e soprattutto impeccabili nella pulizia. Si percepisce subito l’attenzione e l’amore per l’ospitalità. Ma ciò che rende davvero speciale questo hotel sono le persone. La proprietaria e tutto lo staff, dai camerieri al personale di servizio, sono di una gentilezza rara: sempre disponibili, sorridenti e pronti a farti sentire come a casa, ma con un tocco di classe in più. E poi il ristorante… una vera esperienza. Ogni piatto è preparato con cura e passione, e tutto è semplicemente buonissimo. Dalla qualità degli ingredienti alla presentazione, è un viaggio nei sapori della Costiera Amalfitana che vale da solo il soggiorno. Amazing rooms, views and facilities

View was amazing! The breakfast had so many choices of pastries, juices and other fresh options. The room was on the smaller side but was comfortable and immaculate.

We had a leak in our room from the refrigerator line. Maintenance on duty at the time was not very knowledgeable.

Everything about this truly wonderful, family owned and operated, GORGEOUS Amalfi Coast hotel was EXCEPTIONAL. All staff here, especially including the wonderful owner, were very friendly, accommodating and bent over backwards to make staying here a truly 5 Star experience. The owner made an extreme effort to talk to us daily and to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. She truly cares about her hotel, guests and wonderful staff. Her great attitude has transferred to all employees at the hotel and the experience of staying here. The room was very modern, very clean, very comfortable and in perfect condition. This room and hotel overall is on equal par with 5 Star ***** Casa Angelina located down the street from Tramonto d’Oro. We have stayed at Casa Angelina in the past, and Tramonto d’Oro offers the exact same tremendous, upscale, luxury experience for a fraction of the price charged at Casa Angelina. The room balcony overlooking the blue sea , Positano, the iconic Island of Capri and the historic church in Praiano was large, relaxing and absolutely fantastic. The view of the Praiano historic church and it’s beautiful bells ringing below the room balcony added to the magic of this truly incredible hotel. The location was perfect, allowing easy walking to everything and everywhere in Praiano. The front desk staff made everything easy including check in, check out , booking additional spa services and making dinner reservations at local restaurants. The housekeeping staff was exceptional and made the room perfect in every way.. All employees of this hotel have fantastic attitudes and truly exceed all expectations. The parking attendant and bellman from Sri Lanka was friendly fantastic The breakfast food selection, food quality and breakfast staff were also exceptional. The breakfast staff was more than happy to provide coffee to take to the room to enjoy before breakfast opening hours. This customer oriented service is truly a rarity in most hotels in Italy.

Personale gentile, vista pazzesca sembra un quadro, colazione molto varia e abbondante. Sala ristorante panoramica e Rooftop magnifico dove poter rilassarsi e ammirare il tramonto da cartolina.

Unica nota stonata: avevamo una camera economy che oltre a non avere la vista, aveva una finestra in alto che non ci permetteva di vedere fuori. Si apriva con un pulsante vicino all’interruttore della luce poiché era impossibile arrivarci. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio camera ma era consentito solo a pagamento.

המיקום מעולה. כפר רגוע. יש חנייה, דבר קריטי באמלפי. היה לנו חדר גדול ומרווח, עם מרפסת ונוף מהמם. החדר היה באזור המשופץ. הצוות ידידותי. ארוחת בוקר טובה. יש מסעדות טובות בקרבת מקום. (גם במרחק הליכה וגם בנסיעה קצרה ברכב).

אפשר לשפר קצת את האביזור בחדר. (ונטה בשירותים, כוסות זכוכית, מתקן לתליית מגבות ) לעיתים היה ריח של טחב בחדר.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. A stunning hotel with views to die for. The staff was accommodating from before we even checked in, until the moment we left. They helped us arrange transportation and excursions to make a few. The staff is a true family…literally and figuratively. Speaking with the owner, Carmella, was always a joy and staff had our breakfast coffee orders memorized in just a few days. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

I booked this hotel to celebrate my girlfriend’s 30th and I can honestly say the hotel staff could not of done more to make the trip any better. From the complementary upgrade of our room, to a boutique of flowers and drinks upon arrival.

This hotel is top notch. It didn't disappoint. They have thought of everything, down to earplugs,eye patches, robes, slippers etc. Good facilities, great friendly staff and great food. Excellent selection at breakfast,that caters for everyone. Staff, polite, professional and friendly. Attentive to anything asked of them. Definitely one of nicest places Ive stayed. Fantastic views from balcony. Would love to stay again. My only 3 small niggles would be, better hairdryer as doesnt blow fast or very warm. Took forever, so had to leave to dry which took hours. Maybe provide milk for tea and coffee in the little pots in the fridge. Provide info on how to use heating/ aircon as we had a bright light going on and off every night.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was an absolute DREAM! Unbelievable views, delicious breakfast buffet, and the friendliest, most helpful staff that felt like our friends by the end of our stay. Walking distance to beach and One Fire Beach Club, amazing restaurants everywhere, and a quick 10 minute water taxi ride (or 15-20 minute bus ride) to beautiful Positano. More affordable than staying most places in Positano and definitely less crowded, but so easy to get there when we wanted to, which we loved! We’ve been back for a couple weeks and we’re already talking about how we miss it and want to go back!!! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Praiano is not for everyone, as you need to walk on the road with cars buzzing by to walk anywhere. The restaurant is beautiful and the views are fabulous, but we had some mechanical noise from the air conditioner fan (it wasn't loud but it was annoying enough that we couldn't sleep). They said they had fixed it but they didn't fix it, so we complained and they finally moved us to another room. It was a bit like pulling teeth to get them to do that and they weren't nice about it. They did waive the cost of our lunch and dinner, which was a nice gesture, but I still fault them for not properly addressing the noise in the first instance. Overall, the property is dated in certain areas, but if you want to stay in Praiano and you can make sure that you have a quiet, nice room, the views and the restaurant are quite nice.

We stayed at Tramonto D’Oro for 6 nights and it was simply unforgettable! Our room was gorgeous, with a breathtaking sea view — honestly, the best choice we could have made on the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is in Praiano (perfectly located between Amalfi and Positano), and everywhere you turn, you see the sea. It has a beautiful rooftop, and the pool is just perfect — spacious, deep (2m), and overlooking the coast. The food and service were excellent, both at the rooftop bar and at the main restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant — the view is absolutely stunning! From the hotel, you can even walk down to the beach. On the way, there’s a charming little bar where you can stop for a drink with a view. The location is also very convenient — pharmacy, shops, tabacchi, and other great restaurants with amazing service are all close by. Worth mentioning is the private parking which is included and is located on the hotel premises. The reception staff were incredible. Roberta, Luigi, and Antonella were sooo kind and always ready to help with anything — from tips on what to do on the coast, to booking taxi boats, making restaurant reservations, and recommending the best places to eat and spend quality time. The owner, a lovely lady, was always present, greeting every guest with a warm smile and making sure we were happy and comfortable. That personal touch really made a difference. And the sunsets… wow. The most beautiful ones we’ve ever seen, right from Tramonto D’Oro. 🌅 We are 100% coming back!

Unbelievable by today’s standards, really nothing !

This is the best hotel on the Amalfi Coast!!! Everything about the stay was lovely. Our room was spacious and clean, the pool and views were unbelievable and the staff was awesome. We will be back.

The hotel had an spectacular view that one could appreciate in the restaurants and at the pool. The pool had a nice size even for laps. Also, it is not crowded at all. Parking from the hotel is a major plus. Food was really good too. If you want to sleep late that can be an issue, there is a church nearby with bells reporting each hour and we acho half hour in the morning. I had earplugs that helped, but did not completely suppress the noise

If you were to pick a place away from the touristy locations like Positano and Amalfi, Praiano is the perfect halfway point. The hotel was perfect. Timeless in drawing you in to the nostalgia of what one imagines the Amalfi Coast to be. Our room, was one of the renovated rooms with a beautiful view looking out at Positano and the evening sunsets. The church next door, San Gennaro was a treat and a beautiful back drop on the restaurant’s veranda! They can also make arrangements for a shuttle to take you to a scooter shop which was a great way to travel to Amalfi and Positano for the day. This hotel was recommended by a friend and I would highly, highly recommended others to go there! Also what makes this place special is being family run. The next generation continues to joyfully make your time with them very special. Amazing!
