J’ai trouvé dommage de devoir payer un supplément pour avoir un lit bébé alors qu’il est précisé lors de la réservation que le séjour pour l’enfant est gratuit.

La paroi de douche/baignoire inopérante. La vétusté et le manque d’accessibilité de la baignoire (avec un genou blessé et le peu d’espace pour enjamber) et l’eau partout dès qu’on l’utilisait

Je voyageais avec mon vélo et avais demandé si je pouvais le stocker sur place, en fait ils ont demandé à un autre hôtel à 500m, c'était pas génial, il pourrait proposer un emplacement sur place.

We komen hier al jaren. En het zwemmen en parkeren was altijd gratis bij Regina palace. Heerlijk. Het zwemmen is nog wel gratis, maar de auto parkeren kost nu EUR 20 per dag. En dat hoor je pas achteraf. Dit had ik niet zo gedaan...

Prachtig klassiek hotel, bijna direct aan de boulevard gelegen. Direct ertegenover liggen de bootjes te wachten om naar de Borromeïsche eilanden te gaan. Wij hebben de service als uitstekend ervaren, vooral aan de receptie en bij het ontbijt. Er was glutenvrij brood op verzoek. Mochten wij ooit weer in Stresa zijn dan komen wij graag terug.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super schön! Sehr nettes Personal, top Lage um den Lago Maggiore zu erkunden! Das Frühstück hat sehr viel Auswahl und sogar Sonderwünsche, wie Kaffee mit Laktosefreier Milch waren gar kein Problem! Wir waren super zufrieden und der Ausblick vom Zimmer mit Seesicht war atemberaubend! :)

Заявлен бассейн- по факту он в соседнем отеле и идти через улицу, парковка тоже. Вроде бы 300-400 метров, но на ресепшен нам забыли вернуть парковочный талон (по факту получилось находить километр пока решился вопрос). Напротив отеля есть платная парковка в шаговой доступности и по такой же цене. Завтрак очень простой, нарезки мясные, сыр, хлеб разных видов, яичница из порошка, мюсли. Минимум овощей, фруктов. Утром всё грязное белье из номеров оказывается в огромных мешках прямо в коридорах между комнатами, выглядит не очень приятно. В комнате элементарно нет стаканов для воды.

No és per res un hotel de 4 estrelles. Habitació molt petita. Accesoris al bany per una persona quan erem dos. Esmorzar justet per les estrelles de l’hotel. No tenien habitació de consigna. Vam haver de deixar les maletes a recepcio. Vaig demanar amb vistes i balcó i no totes les habitacions tenien balcó amb taula i cadires i a les fotos de l’habitació sí que ho dèia. No hi havia ni màquina de cafè a l’habitació.

They accepted to give us a room with a better view, breakfast is perfect and very very friendly staff.

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and had fond memories of the room, balcony, views and wonderful staff. We were thrilled this time that it was just as lovely as we remembered! Its old world charm, decor, service and meals were wonderful. Now there’s also access to a swimming pool at a nearby hotel, which was lovely.

The bar fridge in our room was not cold enough to chill drinks. It’s only a small complaint which the staff were aware of, and unable to fix during our stay

De ligging aan de boulevard en het uitgebreide ontbijt.

Zwembad is niet bij de accommodatie zelf maar hebben ze geweldig geregeld met het hotel dat er praktisch naast ligt.

La difficulté de régler la température des douches .. Et un autre petit detail de moindre importance: le manque de Bouilloire et de thé dans la chambre.

L’emplacement se situe en plein centre-ville, du coup pour le parking( couvert idéal) il faut aller à pied environ 80 m et la piscine pareil car ils sont situés dans un autre endroit, mais à part cela c’est parfait.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and beautiful, with elegant décor. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast was good, and the location is excellent. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I LOVED everything. Firstly, the staff. They were, without exception, welcoming, helpful and friendly. Secondly, the location. You cannot get better in Stresa. We had views of the lake from our balcony and the old town was right at our doorstep. Thirdly, the decor. Olde world opulent think murano glass chandeliers, deep red patterned carpets, velvet and brocade lounges. A grand place to stay in a grande town

I would've liked a proper hairdryer and an iron or clothes steamer in my room or even just on loan.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel. La literie est très confortable et l’hôtel est très calme. L’emplacement est idéal juste en face du point de départ des bateaux. Préférez les gros bateaux plutôt que les taxis boat pour vos déplacements c’est trois fois moins cher ! Le petit déjeuner est grandiose.

Le café du petit déjeuner est ce que j’ai le moins apprécié mais il était correct

We booked a lake-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with any questions. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good.

The rooms were quite basic for a four-star hotel and could benefit from some renovation, while still preserving their charming European character. The soundproofing could also be improved, as noise from the bathrooms in the neighboring rooms could be heard.

Dieses Hotel hat das besondere Scharm aus vergangenen Zeiten. Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle Unternehmungen.. Wir hatten Zimmer in der 6. Etage mit sehr grossen Terrasse mit Atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den See. .Unser Zimmer wurde täglich geputzt und handtücher auch täglich gewechselt. Preis-Leistung- Verhältnis stimmt

אחלה מלון, במיקום מעולה. יושב ממש על אגם מג׳ורה בעיירה מאוד יפה. המלון ממש על שפת האגם כשמאחורי המלון כל הבלאגן של המסעדות והחנויות. יש חניה ציבורית מול המלון ב 14 יורו ליממה או שאפשר לחנות במלון ליד ב 20 יורו. ארוחת בוקר מעולה, הכל טרי. צוות מקסים ושירותי, מלון נקי וחדרים גדולים. אין במלון בריכה, יש להם הסדר עם מלון במרחק של 5 דק הליכה שאפשר לרחוץ שם, לא היינו. ממש מול המלון יוצאות המעבורות לאיזו בלה וכפר הדייגים.

we visited this hotel last year, so knew that we loved it. This year we booked a front facing room with a balcony - which made our stay even better.

We stayed here (in the Milan building) in a fourth floor lake view double room. The views from the very compact balcony were beautiful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The glass chandelier in the room was beautiful. However the decor is generally very dated, and was a throwback to the 1980s. The bathroom, if a bit old fashioned, contained all amenities, except the shower gel and shampoo dispensers next to the bath we discovered were empty. We asked the housekeeping staff on two occasions for replacements, as we'd only taken small travel sized bottles with us. Unfortunately housekeeping did not replace these during our stay, despite our requests. The hair dryer is a wall mounted type, but not too bad considering. The electric sockets in the bedroom were very scarce, and had no USB ports built in. We had taken 4 european two pin adapters, but, only one of these actually fitted the two pin socket, as the diameter of the pins on the other 3 adapters were just slightly too wide a diameter to fit in the socket. Having visited many areas of Italy over the years, we have never encountered this issue previously. We even tried buying an alternative adapter in a nearby supermarket, but even that didn't fit! Most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. But our experience on arrival was much to be desired. We arrived not knowing which building (the Milan or Speranza) our room was allocated. So we went into Speranza, where a very welcoming receptionist greeted us, and informed us that our room was next door in the Milan building, and her colleague would take us across to the other reception. Now, both myself and my husband had a suitcase and a bag each. I have mobility issues due to a back injury, but am able to wheel my luggage on a flat surface. But, to traverse from one hotel build across to the other meant there were a number of steps to negotiate, and to lift our luggage over. The young receptionist guided us across, and actually looked on, as I struggled to get up the steps, lifting my suitcase, without any offer of assistance. (Would she have watched her mother or nonna struggle I wonder?) . When we reached the reception desk, she checked us in promptly, however we had to ask what hotel amenities were available, ask where the bar and restaurant were located, and what time breakfast is served, also asked about the access to the pool at the sister hotel. None of the information was offered to us. A complete contrast to the several other very helpful and accommodating reception staff we encountered during our stay, who were excellent. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night. The atmosphere was strained, and service was very disappointing. We waited 25 minutes after being seated , before being asked if we'd like water or drinks. We weren't asked if we wanted to order wine with our meal, and the wine glasses were promptly cleared from our table. Eventually our orders for food were taken. The food, when it arrived was very good, and reasonably good value. But the conservatory setting is curb side, so you are subject to scrutiny by passers by in this busy area. We didn't eat here again, as the atmosphere wasn't very inviting and we felt a little underwhelmed and uncomfortable there. At breakfast and dinner, the main dining room next to the conservatory restaurant is occupied by noisy large group tours. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered many options. We didn't like the scrambled eggs as they contained olive oil, so were very greasy. But plenty of alternative choices. Staff at breakfast were excellent and very friendly and welcoming. (Unlike the staff at dinner). All in all, it was not an awful stay, but could've been better, and we don't understand how it's rated as a 4 star hotel. Not by modern standards at least.
