L’équipe d’animateur était très sympa. Beaucoup de choix pour la nourriture.
Mauvaise literie

I really enjoyed my 2 week stay at the hotel. I was on my last day and was enjoying the last few hours of my holiday with my two young children and husband outside the shop downstairs within the hotel. I heard some commotion and the angry shop keeper came out shouting at the man the maintenance man. The lady from the tattoo went to defuse the situation. This was followed by shouting and the shopkeeper in front of me and other guests very clearly hit the tattoo lady while shouting at her. She spent the next few hours in floods of tears and my children were very distressed and scared and this was a very healthy young man hitting a visible elder. Tawfik is the shop owner with this anger which he’s happy to do in front of paying guests he’s a clear danger and shouldn’t be working at the hotel.
Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing, with a long list of issues that significantly affected what should have been a relaxing family holiday. We were required to move rooms, which resulted in approximately 2–3 hours of disruption on my twin daughters’ birthday, 21 August. This was particularly frustrating given the significance of the day and the amount of time we lost dealing with the move. We also experienced repeated power cuts, including periods of approximately 25–30 minutes without electricity, meaning we were left without air conditioning during very hot conditions. Unfortunately, there were also problems with the air conditioning in the new room. The new room itself had several further issues. The TV was not working when we moved in and required repeated chasing before it was eventually resolved. The toilet was leaking, the bath was not draining properly, and the toilet seat was loose. We also repeatedly had to contact the hotel to request clean towels and basic supplies. Perhaps most surprisingly, although the beds had been made after we moved rooms, the bedsheets had not been changed. This was another issue that we had to raise ourselves. Our interaction with reception when requesting an additional room key was also unacceptable and added to an already frustrating experience. The biggest issue throughout the stay was that we constantly found ourselves having to report, follow up and chase the hotel about problems that should have been identified and resolved by the hotel without requiring repeated involvement from us. We understand that occasional issues can happen in any hotel, but the sheer number of problems during our stay made this feel far beyond an isolated incident. Instead of enjoying our family holiday, we spent far too much time dealing with basic room, maintenance and service issues. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and certainly not the standard of service or accommodation we expected. We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues so that future guests do not have the same experience.
Dear administration, please take action! There are too many cockroaches in the hotel, especially in the restaurant. One even climbed onto me during lunch! Otherwise, everything was good, especially the friendly and helpful staff.
I came back from this hotel yesterday, my first time in Tunisia. I travelled with my two children one aged 14 and 18. When we arrived late in the evening they said go straight to dinner because the restaurant will close soon. We left our house in London 11am and arrived to the hotel at 21.10pm. My holiday booking said it was 252 Tunisian dinar for the tourist tax for 7 nights and 3 people, the man at reception charged me 282 Tunisian dinar. I queried it the man said no it’s 282. The food was cold and had no taste which I was surprised about because being in North Africa I was expecting the food to be well seasoned full of nice spices. As we were eating there were cockroaches around the floor as my children were quick to notice. I know it’s a hot country but I’ve been to the Caribbean and never once saw a cockroach in the hotel and I stayed there for 2 weeks each time. We went up to our room on the 4th floor lots of ants running around the bottom of the beds and cockroaches in the bathroom with black mould on the bathroom ceiling. My kids said there’s no way they can sleep in there. I went back to reception to complain and we waited and was given a clean room on the 8th floor. I said thank god because i didn’t know what I would do if I had to stay in the over room, I tipped the person that brought us to our room as I was so relieved. We started to make sure we go for meals as soon as services started to make sure we get hot food because the food is always cold, nobody puts down the lids to cover back the food. Although I waited at the pasta station where the person is heating the pasta with the meat it was still cold. I did discover a microwave on day 4 in the restaurant as I saw a guest using it. Just to say there were 3 people that serve the tables that were very good and friendly they are always around the first 3 rows of tables near the entrance. They work very hard. Day 2 me and my son went to the bar on floor -1 we got our drinks and sat down then a man from the bar came over to us and said he will make us a nice drink i said it’s ok he said no no then rushed to make the drink so I went up to collect it he said no he will bring it. He brought us the drink then just stood there smiling and kept looking down and my handbag and didn’t move, then i realised he wanted a tip so I gave it to him then he went back to the bar. First time I’ve experienced this we go on holiday abroad every August to different countries. I saw a man selling excursions near the pool he stopped us and tried to sell us excursions i said we arrived last night. He said did I go for the welcome talk in the morning i said no one told me about a welcome talk so he explained where every food place is around the hotel. I said my kids only want to do quad biking i said I might come back to him Friday. I didn’t I paid for the quad biking on the app then the man saw me waiting at the front of the hotel 2 days later waiting to be picked up for quad biking. He asked what am i doing here I said I’m waiting to be picked up he said for what quad biking. He started shouting he told me I can do quad biking and said something in his language. He saw me 1 or 2 days after this again and said the same thing. The pool area and the beach was nice. There is a waffle hut near the pool, I was with my daughter she ordered herself a waffle and i ordered for me and my son a waffle each he was upstairs. The man was preparing the waffle then the young girl who was with him in there said something in her language to him and then she said to me I can’t get 2 waffles I said one is for my son. She said he has to come and get it himself. I saw multiple people walk away with 2 waffle plates in their hands that were in the queue before us. I just gave mine to my son. The bar on -1 I was drinking a cocktail before realising there was a big lipstick mark on the glass and I don’t wear lipstick so I had been drinking from a dirty glass. On holidays me and my children always try to eat the local cuisines only I tried everything except fish or shellfish, food always not having any taste even the chicken. The only thing that had any taste was one day they had this very dark looking rice cooked with chicken. There were always cockroaches about especially near the salad. Day 4 me and my son was feeling really sick it was coming and going throughout the day kept having a loose bowel after eating so as the days went on we ate less and less with the last day we just got plain chips nothing more. We never eat things like chips on holiday we always like eating the local foods. My daughter became sick the next day. We go on holiday every August abroad it’s the first time we have ever been sick. We came home yesterday we still have stomach cramps and pain in our stomach’s and I have contacted NHS 111 for advice on our condition today and I’m waiting for a doctor to call me back. We have not eaten or drank anything today as the pain is worse after eating and drinking. We did speak to some other guests on day 6 who said they have been sick too. Day 3 we had put the sign on our door not to have our rooms cleaned but the cleaning lady still knocked and opened the door I was in the shower, my kids asked her just for fresh towels she didn’t seem to like that we said not to clean. The next 2 days while we were out she took the towels and didn’t put any clean towels in our room. Both times I had to go and find her and she didn’t want to give me any towels I had to keep asking her. There was no language barrier as I spoke to her normally on the 2nd day I was there and she understood fine. There was a different cleaner on day 6 she was outside the room next door to mine and I asked can I put some rubbish in the bin bags she had outside, she gave me a horrible look and said rubbish I said yes then she said something in her language and gave me a horrible look again so I said never mind and I went back in my room. The lifts you will sweat to death in there, small lifts 8 people maximum, you will sometimes have to let the lift go about 3 times because it’s full. The entertainment in the evenings wasn’t my kind of thing but each time I did attend the beginning of it. I think the best one was the beach party. The DJ should play a more variety of music. On our last night me and the kids were fighting cockroaches in our room I covered them with cups and was just counting down the time for our transport to arrive. I was so relieved when it came, I said thank god. On a positive note my kids really enjoyed the quad biking. I am very disappointed with the holiday it’s the first holiday that I have wished to hurry up and finish and we go abroad every August. It was a late booking holiday to celebrate my daughter passing her exams and to start university this September as she will be living away from home. I worked many 12 hours night shifts in a row in July to be able to afford this holiday and now I’m sitting here sick and in pain.
This was one of the worst resort experiences I have ever had. I would definitely not recommend Riadh Palms Resort in Sousse. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with a very unpleasant smell that made it uncomfortable to stay inside. The air conditioning barely worked, which was especially frustrating considering the heat in Tunisia. The bathrooms were also not properly cleaned, and the overall condition of the room felt old and neglected. The food was very disappointing — poor quality, repetitive, often cold, and with very limited options. Definitely not what you would expect from a resort. The staff was another major problem. Some employees were rude, unhelpful, and acted as if guests were bothering them whenever they asked for something. At the bar, we were sometimes told that there were not enough glasses available, so getting a drink became unnecessarily difficult. The beach area also felt unsafe. Personal belongings such as towels and inflatable swimming rings can easily disappear, so you have to constantly watch your things. There was very little security or assistance when problems occurred. The resort looks much better in the photos than in reality. Poor cleanliness, bad air conditioning, unpleasant-smelling rooms, terrible food, rude staff, poor service, and a general lack of attention to guests made this holiday extremely disappointing. For the price and expectations of a resort, this experience was absolutely unacceptable.
We had a wonderful stay at Riadh Palms Resort & Spa. The hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach, with a beautiful sea view and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the animation team did a great job spechel wiilam creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was varied and there was always something to choose from. Our room was comfortable and clean, and overall we really enjoyed our holiday. We would definitely recommend Riadh Palms to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Sousse. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily come back again! ❤️🇹🇳
The bar staff where fantastic. However hotel is in a poor state. On arrival effluent running outside. Air con non existent. Food bland and partner got food poisoning and had to call out emergency doctor. Plumbing in room leaking and smelly. Booked a fine dining evening for my steps sons 18th only to be told 2 hours before closed and we have to eat in al acarte. Would never come back if you paid me feel sorry for the staff that have to face the disgruntled guests day after day owners should be ashamed. In uk hotel would get closed
⭐ 1/5 — A Holiday from Hell Riadh Palms Resort in Sousse was probably the worst hotel experience we have had in over 20 years of travelling. From the outside, the hotel looks impressive. The entrance, lobby and reception area initially make you think you have arrived somewhere nice. Unfortunately, once you check in and see the rooms, the reality is completely different. After a long and exhausting journey, instead of the reception staff handling the check-in details efficiently, we were made to complete five or six different forms ourselves. When we were finally given our room key, there appeared to be no proper communication between reception and the staff responsible for showing guests to their rooms. A staff member took our key, wrote room numbers on his hand and then disappeared with it. When I returned to reception and explained what had happened, they refused to issue another key because they apparently provide only one key card per room. We were left waiting for more than an hour with no idea where the staff member had gone or when he would return. Rather than contacting him or resolving the problem, a member of reception staff actually told me to go and look for him myself. I went upstairs, but he was nowhere to be found. He eventually returned the key, but the entire situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional and dismissive manner. The condition of our room was horrific. We found cockroaches in the bathroom, and the room and bathroom were dirty and unhygienic. Housekeeping appeared to simply tidy the room without properly cleaning it or replacing the bed linen. As far as I could tell, I had the same bedsheet for around five days. Although the main public areas look reasonably presentable, the rooms and corridors are grim, dated and poorly maintained. The difference between the attractive entrance and the actual accommodation is shocking. The lifts were another major problem. There are only a small number of very small lifts serving a large hotel, and we regularly had to wait 10–15 minutes just to travel downstairs. The air-conditioning was also unacceptable. We stayed on the ninth floor and could barely feel any air-conditioning at all. When we visited the first floor, the air-conditioning was noticeably stronger, suggesting that the system does not work properly on the higher floors. In the Tunisian heat, this made the room extremely uncomfortable. We were not the only unhappy guests. During our stay, many other holidaymakers—particularly British guests—were openly complaining about the poor rooms, cleanliness, air-conditioning and overall service. I genuinely cannot understand how this hotel is rated four stars. Based on our experience, it felt closer to a two-star hotel at best. Poor service, cockroaches, inadequate cleaning, unchanged bedding, ineffective air-conditioning and staff who appeared unwilling or unable to resolve basic problems completely ruined our stay. This was not the relaxing holiday we paid for it was a holiday disaster. I would strongly advise people to avoid Riadh Palms Resort.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! 40 years of staying in 3&4 stars but this is 1*. Lift and internet doesn't work. Food has made me Nd all the English people I have spoken to ill ..... Been ill for the full 7 days as caught the staff washing veg in a sieve in there water at the Neptune bar! The bathroom leaks on you from the above bathroom!!!! The floor is always wet with the leak! The alcohol is watered down so we've spent £100 a day on vodka and food from the restaurant across the road!!!! Has a sports bar but you have to pay!!!!! No toilet roll in the bars/reception toilets, not had wash and no cold water in 2 weeks!!!!!! I've never written a review before but this I felt I needed too!!! The staff and country are perfect but this hotel is disgusting!!!!!
Firstly let me say i hve been to Tunisia a few times before so i know it doesnt have the same level as standards as other countries, however the experience at this hotel was awful! Firstly, the toilet didnt flush properly for 2 day and when it did flush it flooded the bathroom! I complained and had numerous engineers out stating "it was fixed" when it wasnt and each time they all left a mess. It was only at the end of the 2nd day we finally got moved which i had to do myself in darkness as they couldnt leave the light on in the new room or give me a key fob which is ridiculous! The bathrooms are awful! The bath isnt wide enough to have a bath if youre older than 6 and they dont have plugs anyway (they do but only brought them to the room on the LAST day of the holiday!) This means you have to use the showers which are terrible! they are in the middle of the bath so the screens they use dont cover and water goes everywhere plus if youre over 6 foot you have to duck! There was mold all the way round the bath and as my son has athma i was appauled! The air con broke and left a puddle of water - now i understand things break but their excuse of us going onto the balcony for 1 second (litereally opening and closing the door) was pathetic and i told them this was BS You cant complain to reception as the phone doesnt work and i'm sure the cleaner took the change off the side When you order your drinks at the pool, they collect your glasses if there is drink in them or not and numerous times they tip the liquid over your bed so it goes on your towels etc plus they just dont care Do not stay here!
unclean the bed sheets are dirty
We just came home after 5 days here. The reception staff are miserable, the cleaners are miserable, the animation team are great fun, always up for a laugh, some of the bar staff are miserable. The food in main restaurant is not great if you’re a fussy eater, and you will have to move out the way for pushing in from non British people who don’t know how to queue and barge through you. The hotel is dated and in need of a renovation, the savour is the pool area and direct beach access. While around the pool/beach areas, the bar staff offer to get you drinks but we quickly worked out they want tipping for doing this event we were all inclusive. Outside the hotel is a dump, it’s not very nice and a bit intimidating.
I recently stayed in riadh palms and as a frequent traveller i can say i would never go back first of all as soon as we arrived the receptionist was so rude and not welcoming at all then i got my room and in my life i never seen anything like this the state of the bathroom was truly choking i ask to change my room straight away but been told i had to wait the next day i had the worst night and was contemplating to move hotel the next day they changed the room which i appreciated but still i found cockroaches most of the days in the bathroom the cleaning lady didn’t even bother to wait for us to leave the room and proceeded to clean while my son was still asleep if you can call that cleaning plus she left the balcony open every single time i have never seen anything like this truly The staff apart for a handle were so rude and dismissive they truly make me feel like very bad several times i had to bed for cutlery at the buffet even though it wasn’t finished they throw away my drinks while i was still on my sunbed drinking it and not apologies and instead pester me to get a other one which wasn’t easy as i was by myself with a young kid The queue at the snacks bar was endless and they could organise themselves better Kids club is basically nonexistent I could go on Avoid at all cost
Great pool, rather deep in places so need to be a good swimmer. Entertainers good. Hygiene questionable, some occasions would have a sewage issue. Smell can leak into rooms and aircon. Several occasions have had some leakage into social outside areas. Rooms are basic, only issue one key card so if you leave the room fridge will turn off so no cold drinks on your return. Frequently run out of ice and drinks, no access to drinks when bars/ restaurants closed so no early morning coffees or water. There is 24hr room service however never experienced so cannot comment on service or quality. Some staff not so friendly.

We had a really great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The food was also delicious, with a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel itself was beautiful and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!
i love this hotel so much! everything is perfect here! the animator team is the best☺️the guy in gym is so nice to people

We had a wonderful stay at Riadh Palms Resort & Spa. The hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach, with beautiful sea views and a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, and we especially enjoyed the pool, beach and entertainment. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. A special thank you to all the staff for making our holiday relaxing and memorable. We would definitely recommend Riadh Palms and would be happy to come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Animation team the best spacile yaya 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
big queues at the restaurant and bar. food and drinks cheap and poor quality. sunbeds can be obtained if you come at 6 am. glasses at the beach bar and by the pool are not washed.
Firstly walked got into hotel to check in and was told the room you have booked is not avaliable till the morning. So was given no option but to be put in a room which was dirty and air-conditioning was just about working. We then came down in morning and was told to wait for 4 hours until the room is ready this is 1030am we had to wait to get till 2 to get our room and settle in. We then got to out room and it was dirty bed sheets has very bad stains on them and there was a bunch on hair in corner looked like it wasant even cleaned. The phone in room wasant working so had to go back down to tell them to clean. The staff at the reception are rude and very disrespectful they don't care about u as there was another 2 3 family complaining about diffrent issues. I would recommend anyone who is going pay alittle extra and get a better hotel. The staff will not help u they won't even smile at you they are so rude and will not help you whats so ever.
Poor customer service from the start. The reception staff were grumpy and were not willing to listen. Kept us waiting to check in and even then we did not get what we wanted as a family. The hotel rooms were in poor state as well as some parts of the hotel. We had 7 rooms and not all ac were working. There were no instruction how to operate the safe or how to use the telephone. The lifts were old and did not cope well with number of guests in the hotel. There was no kettle for tea in the rooms which is pretty basic wherever you go. The only positive is the food which was very good and fresh.
Good hotel! We had a wonderful view from our room, the food was very tasty, and every evening there was an interesting program; the animation team is the best, special thanks to the animator Yaya.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Animation is good. Rooms are okay but them are not clean. Employes can be rude, but animators are execelent.
Animators are great they are very nize, smile and kind and very profesional but the rest emploirers are not so kind. Location is good.atmosphere is good ,good vibes with animators.romms are big but not so clean,.
The first thing I have to mention is the incredible animation team. They truly make this hotel come alive and create an amazing atmosphere every single day. Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It really adds something special to the whole holiday experience. I was a bit worried after reading all the negative reviews about this hotel, but after spending a week here, I can honestly say our experience has been fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with a smile. The food has been very good throughout our stay. My only advice is to arrive on time for the buffet rather than waiting until the very end, as you’ll have the best selection that way. The longer you wait the less to choose. That way everything stays fresch. The rooms are fine and are cleaned every day. The only minor downside is that the bathrooms are outdated, but they are clean and fully functional. For us, this certainly didn’t affect our holiday. As for the comments saying the people here are unfriendly, that has been the complete opposite of our experience. Everyone we have met has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. Don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off—come with an open mind and enjoy your stay! Tips visit Medina, take a taxi across the street and let them turn on the meter 3-4 Dinar Go in Camel and Quad Safari Visite Port El Kantaoui!! Also take a taxi meter
Really clean, the entertainment is really good, there is a good range of foods, it is on the beach which is nice and there is nothing bad about my stay at this hotel and did I is the best because every day smile and friendly
Riadh Palms Resort & Spa, Sousse, Tunisia This hotel completely ruined our only family holiday of the year and was, without question, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The Room Our room was dirty, dated and poorly maintained, with broken tiles, damaged shower fittings, stained furniture and stained bed linen. A broken floor tile with sharp edges remained unrepaired throughout our stay despite being reported on day one. The shower head had been removed and left in the sink on arrival. It wasn’t replaced until the following day, and only after I confronted Guest Relations. The “double bed” was simply two single beds pushed together, with ill-fitting bedding that came off every night. Maintenance entered our room without warning while we were out to dismantle the luggage stand, despite us never reporting a fault. No apology was offered. There were also stained tables and chairs, an unreliable hairdryer, inconsistent toilet paper replenishment and no complimentary toiletries. The only soap was a foul-smelling liquid dispenser in the shower that appeared diluted, with no hand soap by the sink. Health & Safety A leaking ceiling in the corridor outside our room created a serious slipping hazard. My daughter and I both nearly slipped on pooled water. Housekeeping placed mops underneath but displayed no warning signs. Despite reporting it, no meaningful action was taken until a large section of the ceiling collapsed on day three. Although patched, it continued leaking for the remainder of our stay. The lack of urgency and failure to make the area safe showed an unacceptable disregard for guest safety. Food & Service The all-inclusive experience was chaotic. Food was repetitive, bland and often overcooked, with the same ingredients recycled daily. Every meal involved queues of 15–20 minutes for freshly cooked items, making dining stressful. Eventually, my son refused to eat because he was so fed up with queuing. Hydration /Drinks In temperatures of 36–38°C, bars frequently ran out of ice and appeared to ration drinks and bottled water. My husband was even told off for helping himself to a drink after we’d waited so long for service. Many staff were rude and unhelpful, and Guest Relations dismissed our concerns rather than resolving them. Both à la carte restaurants were disappointing, with poor food, painfully slow service and lengthy waits for drinks, resulting in us walking out before finishing our meals. Cash Only Guests were expected to pay tourist tax, spa charges and shop purchases in Tunisian dinars and cash only, despite businesses outside the hotel accepting cards. The Final Straw At 5:15 a.m. on departure day I became trapped in one of the hotel lifts. It appeared to have broken down before and should have been out of service. Staff only acted after my husband made a considerable fuss. As someone with claustrophobia, the experience was terrifying and a dreadful end to an already ruined holiday. Overall Poor maintenance, serious health and safety failures, unhygienic food practices, rude customer service, overcrowding and constant queues completely overshadowed what should have been our annual family holiday. I would not recommend Riadh Palms to anyone. Given our experience, I believe Plan My Tour should review whether this hotel continues to meet the standards expected of its customers and whether it should remain part of its recommended holiday portfolio.
Terrible experience at Riadh Palm Hotel This hotel is in a very poor condition and feels more like a ruin than a proper holiday hotel. The bed sheets were dirty, the room was noisy because of the street, and the air conditioning did not work properly. The staff were not friendly or helpful. I would not recommend this hotel. It needs a serious renovation and better customer service.
The hotel is quite good for the price. The service deserves special mention. The hotel offers excellent cuisine, with a wide variety of delicious food always available. There is an entertainment team, and a huge selection of drinks. I would particularly like to highlight the waiter Khamis T.; he is always smiling and helpful, and he refills your drink before you’ve even finished the last one. I really want to commend his professionalism and hope that management reads these reviews and rewards him for his efforts.
When we checked in the first experience we had was a family next to us complaining about the room. We were already concerned. We had to wait a while for our rooms to be ready as we had a party of 12. The room its self was ok but the bathroom was disgusting and needed redoing. It was so old and grimy. The balcony didn’t seem safe, it had a beautiful view but I was scared of the structure of it, so didn’t want the kids to lean up against it. We were only allowed one key which was so inconvenient. The AC doesn’t really work and the switch has no numbers or anything to indicate how to use it. No point in asking house keeping as they are not bothered. There were cockroaches in our room almost everyday and my son was terrified to sleep in his bed as there was one on the sheets. The lift was very packed and always busy. My husband helped people get out of the lift as it got stuck between floors and people were screaming. There is no ventilation in them either, so it’s hot and stuffy. Thank god we never got Stuck. Try and stay on the lower floors to avoid using them. There is a mad rush at breakfast and 6pm when the pool closes, so be prepared the wait. The Resturant was hectic and the staff who cleans the dinner tables are quite rude. One man snatched a drink out of my husband’s hand. Another ignored us when we asked him to clean a table for us to sit at. He looked at me and went to another table and decided to clean that empty table as well. It was very petty stuff but unnecessary when your only in holiday for a few days and want to have a nice time. I found that some people were treated well, and they were the ones that were tipped. The food reminded me of slopp from the school dinners from a cartoon, they slopped it into your plate. Your only followed a max of 4 so not ideal if your getting food for your kids. Most of the cooking staff were nice but very very long ques. Again I saw money handed over and plates being made up for those who didn’t want to que. The coffee machines tasted very scaly and if you want hot water, use the water machine instead. Cockroaches are walking around on plates, work tops and on the walls. The staff will just get rid of them of you see it. So god knows if they were in the food. It made me feel very sick but I had to firm it. Most nights I just had salad and chips. One night had some nice roast chicken and some of the Tunisian food was nice. The meat and the fish wasn’t very nice. The Russians put their towels out at silly hours of the morning, so you will need to get up early to do the same sadly. The beach sometimes has the odd beach. Make sure you bring something destinctive as they will put stuff on top of your stuff. They don’t care! The pool and beach was nice and the animation team was brilliant. That’s what made up for everything else. There are jelly fish in the sea but we got nipped by little fish and little rashes by sea larvae. Don’t expect to run on the treadmill at the gym as you will get told off😂😂. The girl who works there sits there on her phone scrolling on ticktock and looks up and tells you off if you run on it as apparently it’s too old. You’re only allowed to walk! I also got told of for letting the weights on the cable machine clatter as she said I needed to be careful as it’s old. There is no water or towels in the gym and not even a fan let a lone air con. The good points was that you could get bottles of water down staires and drinks and chill which was nice. The entertainment was semi good and the white beach party was good. There was lots of security so you felt safe. The spa was nice and I had a massage twice. If they just cleaned the place up and fumigated it. Also updated the bathroom and ensured that the food was completely hygienic it would be better. The beach bars for food were horrific. The hot dogs were kept on a sweaty jar and the boy uses his bare hand to take them out. There are ants all over the place. He is then wiping his face and carrying on with making the hot dog. The burger bar was also shocking. As he gets a burger out of this Tupperware then puts it in a bun with mayo and lettuce then puts the whole thing on the grill 🤯. So the burger is still cold and the mayo is warm. The chips were nice!! The panini place has this chicken the it’s like very old dry roast chicken and I took one bite and i had to throw it away. Word of advice to management is to pay your staff more. So that they don’t hate their job and take it out on the holiday makers. Remove cockroaches by fumigating especially in the dining area. Update the bathrooms and check it is all safe on the balcony area. Make sure the is security at night as we heard fighting like a domestic going on and didn’t see any security attend. PLEASE USE GLOVES TO SERVE FOOD 🙏🙏 surely this is a basic level of hygiene in any country??!
Animation team was very nice and friendly. They are make cool party!
The food is really good and also the shows are amazing and so much fun and the beach is so nice
This hotel was a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we were given a room where the bed had not even been changed after the previous guests. The towels looked as if they had been used to wash the floor and then simply rinsed. They smelled absolutely awful. One of our son's beds was completely dirty, and the mattress on our other son's bed didn't even fit because it was larger than the bed frame. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet didn't work, and there was dirt and mould everywhere. The worst part was finding cockroaches in our room. We complained and insisted on changing the room. At first, we were told that there were no better rooms available, but after refusing to accept that answer, we were finally given a decent room. It still wasn't anything like the rooms shown in the hotel's advertisements and promotional videos, but at least it was clean, and the towels were of a completely different quality. The receptionist even admitted to us that the rooms shown in the advertisements are only used to promote the hotel and are not what most guests actually receive. In other words, the advertising is misleading. The hotel has three categories of rooms: newly renovated rooms, average rooms, and rooms that are completely unacceptable and should never be given to guests. Unfortunately, they still accommodate people in those terrible rooms without any hesitation. There are cockroaches crawling on the dining room walls and even on the serving counters among the food. Everywhere you go, you have to stand in long queues for food and drinks. Glasses, plates, and cutlery run out very quickly. Even if you manage to get your meal, there is often nowhere to sit because there aren't enough staff to clear and prepare the tables, despite them working hard. The same situation applies to the bars. We ended up buying our drinks from a nearby shop because we were tired of waiting 20 minutes every time we wanted something to drink. Quite often they don't even have enough glasses to serve drinks, so we brought our own. The beach is full of rubbish. Nobody cleans it, and the sand is covered with cigarette butts. Although it is the hotel's beach, it is right next to the public beach, so the sea is full of rubbish washed in from nearby – plastic, watermelon rinds, used nappies and even sanitary pads. For two days the sea was so dirty that we didn't even want to go swimming. The swimming pool is overcrowded, making it impossible to swim properly. There is also a snack bar outside, but the lady making waffles and pancakes has only one working waffle maker and one hotplate, so waiting in line for 40 minutes is completely normal. The same happens throughout the hotel. Breakfast is the worst we have ever experienced on holiday. The only bread available is dry baguette and toast, plus about three types of sweet pastries. If you want eggs or pancakes, you have to queue again. Lunch and dinner deserve praise because the food is tasty and there is a good variety. However, once again, the queues are extremely long. This is not the fault of the employees. They work very hard and do their best, but the management has completely failed. There is nobody organising things properly, and for such a large hotel there are simply far too few staff during the peak season. The worst staff are at reception. They are rude, arrogant and unhelpful. When we checked in, we placed 20 US dollars inside our passports. The receptionist simply put the money under the desk and still gave us the terrible room I described earlier. The men exchanging money at reception were also very arrogant. One of them literally threw the money onto the counter without even looking at us or saying thank you. We have never experienced such behaviour anywhere else. Think very carefully before booking this hotel. We know for certain that we will never return, and we definitely cannot recommend it. We are not demanding travellers, but this has been the worst holiday we have ever had, and we can't wait to go home.
very nice place good entertainment amazing food
Great place! Mr Seif is the best! He founds his polish lady and she said „Kocham Cię” ✨
I was extremely disappointed with my stay. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the rest of the holiday. The bedroom was very outdated, and the bathroom was disgusting. It was dirty, the shower curtain was covered in mould, and the air conditioning barely worked. The balcony overlooked what appeared to be a carport or service area, which was far from the view we were expecting. Housekeeping was also poor, with clean towels often not being provided. The food in the restaurant was the worst I’ve ever eaten at a hotel. There was very little variety, the quality was poor, and many of the restaurant staff came across as rude and uninterested. The pool area was another major disappointment. Unless you were out before 6:00 am to reserve a sunbed, you had virtually no chance of getting one. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Between the poor cleanliness, outdated rooms, rude staff, terrible food, and lack of basic facilities, I would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not return.
Beautiful animation amazing entertainment my favourite person was definitely jozef I would definitely come back again
everything was good, I love the hotel , everyone is so friendly, the atmosphere is good , we’ve had a lot of fun❤️
it’s my first time i cam to this hotel it’s super hotel the servece the bar good and restaurant to and the best it’s animation it’s very nice and active and didi it’s very funny and friendly
the location is really nice and its easy access to the beach. The staff is very friendly and makes u feel welcome. Amazing service
I enjoy the pool in this hotel, the private beach, parties. The hotel is very big and it has places to chill which is very good
The view in my room was amazing and it’s near to the beach so like this
There’s love of people and only few elevators, many times i wait more than 10min just to go up or down
Location
No air conditioning in rooms, eating area, hallways, elevators. Rooms were dirty and run down. Elevators were either broken or very slow. They were also extremely small with no air circulation. A coakroach was crawling around the food on the baffee. This hotel did not meet expectations.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful (especially Kemal Akrami on the reception desk). The food was exceptional and the choice unbelievable. The hotel was clean and centrally located. Beach and pool very clean and so many activities. I would definitely recommend this hotel for family holidays.
Lifts a bit slow but understandable as so many people.
Great 3.5 star hotel.4th floor room with good view of pool and sea .Air con iffy but ok ,Clean room with working fridge !! Food ,plentiful, but bit of a rugby scrum at supper. Pool large and warm, very clean, plenty of sun beds.Drinks service on the whole superb. Food from 10 am round beach ,varied and good. If you find the outside restaurant on the left ,quiet and very good for lunch Beach cleanish, plenty of beds if you get there before 9
⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid this hotel at all costs. This was genuinely one of the worst holiday experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude, dismissive, and acted as if guests were an inconvenience. Any issue we raised was either ignored or met with empty promises that nothing would be done. Customer service simply doesn’t exist here. The rooms are filthy, outdated, and in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom smelled like sewage throughout the stay, the air conditioning barely worked, and basic maintenance issues were completely ignored. The hotel looks nothing like the photos online. The food was absolutely dreadful. Every day was the same tasteless, lukewarm buffet with very little variety. Hygiene standards seemed questionable, and after a couple of meals we completely lost confidence in eating there. Even the drinks were poor quality. The entire hotel feels neglected. Dirty communal areas, broken facilities, overcrowded restaurants, and a general lack of cleanliness made it impossible to relax. The lifts constantly broke down, queues were ridiculous, and the atmosphere was chaotic from morning until night. The final day summed up the entire experience perfectly. Before checking out, we politely asked reception if there was somewhere we could shower before leaving, as this is a service many hotels provide. We were told by the receptionist that we could use the showers in the spa free of charge. However, when we went to the spa, we were suddenly told we couldn’t use those showers after all and that we would have to pay. After being sent back and forth, arguing and complaining because we had been given completely different information by hotel staff, we still got nowhere. Instead, we were told our only option was to shower by the pool, in full view of other guests. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the manager, Hussain, came out to deal with the situation and his attitude was appalling. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or apologise for the hotel’s mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and spoke to us with complete disrespect. It was the worst customer service we experienced during our stay and left an awful final impression. This hotel advertises itself as a four-star resort, but it barely deserves one. There are far better places to stay in Sousse for the same money. I wouldn’t return even if the stay was free, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone else waste their hard-earned money here. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. You’ll thank yourself later.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after staying at Riadh Palm Hotel I feel it is important to warn other travellers. This hotel falls far below what I would expect from a property advertised as a 4 or 5-star hotel. The biggest issue throughout our stay was the attitude of many staff members. We repeatedly experienced rude and dismissive behaviour. On one occasion, bar staff handled ice for drinks with their bare hands and served drinks in dirty glasses, which raised serious hygiene concerns. After we confronted the staff for handling ice with their bare hands they went behind the bar and just poured the drink into another glass so that it looked like they did something. We once again confronted the staff member for this and they just started shouting at us calling us liars. The most distressing incident occurred when a shirt was stolen from a sunbed. Instead of dealing with the matter professionally, security initially suggested that another tourist had stolen it despite there being witnesses who disputed this. The witness stated that a staff member was walking around the pool with a black bin bag and putting items in it from around the pool. It took around two hours to resolve the issue, and eventually the shirt was found after an employee was reportedly dismissed. Despite the inconvenience and distress caused, we received no apology or compensation. I was offered 3 meetings with different managers where they all claimed that they do not understand why I am bothered as the shirt has now been found. I am bothered because a situation like this should never occur at a hotel and management should not hire untrustworthy staff that steal. I should be able to leave my shirt there all week and no one should touch it. Communication was also extremely difficult, with the head of security unable to speak English and another security employee refusing to assist after we asked them to take responsibility for resolving the issue. Soon after this I was speaking to another tourist and was told that money went missing from their room. Activities were equally disappointing. We paid for the hotel’s quad biking excursion, but no protective eyewear was provided because they had run out. Riding through sand without eye protection is a serious safety concern. We then waited around 45 minutes while staff inflated the tyres before the activity could even begin. Housekeeping was poor. Our room was not cleaned for three days until we specifically requested it. The bathroom contained mould, the shower head was broken and sprayed water throughout the room, and the Wi-Fi was virtually unusable unless you were sitting near reception, disconnecting after only a few seconds elsewhere. Even when we asked for our room to be cleaned the housekeeping team would not clean it they would just put new towels and toilet roll in. More over we were not even given the correct amount of towels. Cleanliness across the hotel was unacceptable. There was a constant sewage smell around the pool due to poor drainage. Food in the restaurant was frequently covered in flies, and staff often behaved as though providing drinks or cutlery was an inconvenience. We also encountered cockroaches in the spa changing area and in the luggage storage room, where they were crawling over luggage. We had to put something into our case as we was leaving and the cockroaches crawled into our case. So we are now bringing back Tunisian cockroaches to the UK. The all-inclusive package was extremely misleading. Drink options were very limited, alcoholic drinks were restricted to only basic options unless you paid extra, bottled water was refused. I went to the bar with a friend that I made at the hotel both if us asked for a bottle of water and the bar staff started arguing with us saying that we are in the same room and we do not need two bottles. It is water I should b of be refused water especially at a hotel where I paid for all inclusive. Drinks were served in tiny paper cups, and even ice was rationed. This did not feel like an all-inclusive experience. Some of the bar members were very tight on alcohol where they wouldn’t even give you a shot of alcohol in your drink. Which is unusual for an all inclusive as we all know that usually on an all inclusive they like to pour like crazy. When you asked for extra alcohol to be difficult they would purposely poor in an unbearable amount. The hotel had a club where you had to pay for drinks. We went there on our first night to watch the England match as it was on at 4am and all the all inclusive bars were shut. Even though we were paying for the drinks we were getting dirty glasses and the main man working at the bar was extremely rude and constantly had a very unapproachable face. On our departure day, we were told that we can shower in the spa facilities by the morning shift receptionist, which had always been the case no matter what country I have traveled to I was always given a room to shower in or would use the spa facilities. When it came to leaving, we went to the spa and asked the lady where the showers are. She then kept on saying “finished finished’. We were confused about this so we went to reception to question this. They then said you can’t shower in the spa for free you have to use the pool showers. Which is crazy as I am not comfortable with that. Even the tourist manager agreed with us, she said she was new and did not know that that was the case. She the. Called the general reception manager to come and speak to us. His name was Hussain, he was incredibly rude and had an awful attitude these are his exact words “ So what is your problem? You checked out and wanted to go for a swim and are now expecting a shower” we addressed his attitude to him straight away and he responded “Yes I know I do” he told the lady to carry on with us and just walked off. The tourist lady was extremely nice but said it’s not her decision and apologised she could not help. We then asked for some towels, which was also a problem. We had to speak to three different staff members to even get some towels. It’s like all the staff were shocked that we wanted a a shower. Check out is at 12pm and our flight was not until 11pm like if course we will go for a swim and want to shower. We are not gonna sit around waiting all day. Other issues included: * The lift did not work for our floor. * Emergency fire exits appeared poorly maintained. * Staff frequently gave conflicting information, suggesting a lack of training and communication. * Some male staff made members of our group feel uncomfortable due to inappropriate behaviour. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. A hotel claiming to offer 4 or 5-star standards should provide clean facilities, professional customer service, basic hygiene, and competent management. Unfortunately, Riadh Palm Hotel failed on all of these fronts. I would not recommend staying here and certainly would not return.
Seriously seriously think about your life choices before booking this hotel. I urge you NOT to as you will regret it. From the moment we walked in being thrown 4 bits of paper to complete, wristbands being forgotten, to walking to a restaurant and seeing a fight all within the first 20 mins. No welcome from Love Holidays, having another family tell us where things are. Having to drink tea/coffee out of cereal bowls due to no cups despite asking for them. Lack of coffee machines meaning a 10 mins wait because there are NO tea/coffee facilities in the room. NO satellite TV despite it saying. Pointless asking reception to help because they dont care!!! All the hotel is interested in is filling rooms. It’s overfilled and not able to manage! The outside food area needs to change, you cannot make each individual burger/sandwich for that many people. 45 mins in 32 degrees heat for 1 burger is unacceptable!! The drink choice is terrible and tastes like paint stripper. You will be well looked after if you tip. Tip, tip all the time tipping. All inclusive becomes quite expensive when people expect to be tipped every 5 mins!!!! The icing on the cake was not having anywhere on the last day to change/shower as we had a late flight. We were told we had to be out at 12 and weren’t being collected until 18:40. When i asked if we could shower somewhere, we were told “by the pool”. A public area!!!??? Absolutely ridiculous. So spent 6 hours waiting around. The main hotel is clean, the rooms are not. Bathroom is dirty, black mould, a dirty shower curtain that kept sticking to me!! A plug that doesn’t fit….. I met another 5 families who felt exactly the same way and were given nothing from Love Holidays/the hotel. Save yourself the misery and book somewhere else……..
Ive only been here for 24hrs, not as good as we thought it would be. Food is terrible. So eating salads and melon. Beer and coke etc all warm and not kept cold.roms very worn and dated , but clean. So can't wait to get home. Every time I ask for a different drink , I'm told we have none. The food is definitely for more foreign taste certainly not British etc. Reception staff very helpful.
A big thank you to the animation team for making our stay so enjoyable! They were energetic, friendly, and professional, creating a fun atmosphere every day with games, activities, and evening shows. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude made a real difference to our holiday. Great job, and keep up the amazing work!
L'emplacement de l'hôtel La vue de la chambre
Manque d'hygiène Buffet médiocre avec quantité limitée par personne Plage médiocre Piscine bandée de gens Comportement de la plupart du personnel catastrophique
A great hotel right on its own beach, just to the main promenade in Sousse. Excellent service: reception, restaurant, bars in the hotel and on the beach. Exceptionally delicious food, all meals international cuisine (beef, fish, seafood, chicken) and always at least 3 to 4 traditional Tunisian dishes. Lots of vegetables and fruits, special section for vegans. Always wonderful cookies French style. Good local wines that we drank with the meal. There are all kinds of alcoholic drinks. Everywhere is very clean, all areas are cooled, pleasant ambience with soft music. In the evening, the team of animators organizes entertainment and dancing by the pool. At 11 pm everything is quiet for rest. All recommendations!
The first impression in reception was very bad the way he speaks, iwas there for 2 days I couldn’t get 1 cold beer without ice cubes , the bar staf asking me to bring food …
From the minute you arrive you see how dated and dirty the whole place is We arrived at midnight, and was told food would be on all night, so we wher escorted to our room where we could barely get into the tiny scruffy room, which contained multiple beds and tables and chairs, all of which covered doors and the wardrobe as there was so little room. It was immediately obvious that we had been missold a holiday. The misrepresentation of this hotel, is unreal; the photos must be years old as the entire place is so unclean amd in need of closing to start again. Admittedly the pool amd beach are lovely, but even then there is always broken glass and plates to cause injury.back to the room… So; upon realising we had been downgraded on the room we booked, we found multiple live wires exposed in the wardrobe, which had 3 quilts covering the hole where wires wher pertruding out. Toilet had a massive l leak with a puddle that covered half the toilet floor, with a broken toilet seat hinge, as well as a crack that tore a hole in the top of your leg on contact.when discovering both safes did not work, we decided to shut the pointless tiny balcony doors, which only just fit the broken table and two chairs on, with no room to even move them an inch in any direction.we decided we’d go complain and get food. Suprised, suprised, reception said there was no other room available, they’d get us a change the next day. Well, that day turned into two days, constantly wasting the two days chasing up with both the hotel and love holidays, to get moved. Food was unavailable by 2 am when we finished trying to reason with reception, and 3 of us had to make do with a bottle of water from our room, as there wher also no glasses available at the 24/7 snack bar and late dinner place. Day two…went for breakfast nice and early, to find no glasses or cups. Then the only options available for someone woth meat and dairy intolerance, wher tomatoes and plums, so rubbish start to first day. We did get told later in the day to get the doughnuts or pastries which once being shoved about and knocked over multiple times just to get a croissant that where burned amyway(amd again no plates), I decided to leave the restaurant as I didn’t fancy eating where last nights chicken bones lay all over floors and surfaces, with food splattered up all walls. Got sunbeds(no cushions available-which is an issue for me as I have just undergone major surgery, and awaiting upcoming surgeries and rely on a stick most the time as an aid). We quite enjoyed our day by the pool, even though there was only one way in and out for anyone who can’t use the two ladders, of which animation staff used to do their entertainment and water aerobics ect, so trying to wade through 50 people when disabled isn’t easy, amd even after saying excuse me you get scoffed at by racist guests and get laughed at and shoved out of the way.Day after day, we witnessed security moving family after family belongings from sunbeds, as soon as they went to the toilet or to get a drink or food. We witnessed those who rose early who wher actually using the beds and not those who got up at 4am(yes really 4 am they wher out putting towels on sun beds, then security wher paid to secure them), having their stuff removed so those who came to the pool later in the morning could pick the spot amd pay to get the other stuff removed(no joke, you couldn’t leave the bed at all, someone had to say at all times). Food in the day was hard also, as English people are constantly pushed to the side and get sniggered at from guests and some younger staff, but there are some staff that also get treated very badly by the same guests. Honestly I’ve never been to anywhere where you’re made to feel like you can’t eat or drink within an all inclusive. I repeatedly asked for just salad wrap or cob to be told no, or to be given meat. I managed to get soup 2 nights which was edible, but had multiple hairs in it. Booked a boat trip asap to get out of the hotel, which was absolutely great. We booked memos bar one night, so we could actually eat something more than two tiny bits of cake or bowl of soup( most nights even soup was meat, amd the veg options wher literally just coked veg, amd tasted of nothing, couldn’t even get hold of a pot of salt, or ketchup for over cooked hard fries. Took half s as k hour to get a drink at mealtimes, so we didn’t bother, we just had a couple of bits of cake and left. Couldn’t even get to the melon, as there was too many pushing you out the way, amd when you got there, there was no plates, or you wher handed 6 massive bits of melon, which is why you struggled to get any, as the one man melon carver, was chopping it amd dishing it out needed to disappear again after dispatching a whole melon for folks to waste in about 1 minute flat. Our meal at neptunes(although we double checked I could get vegetarian), consisted of a piece of lettuce, 2 oluves, a slice of cucumber and tomatoe, and a teaspoon of tuna, followed by spaghetti in meat sauce with meat, with chips so hard you couldn’t eat them. Followed by an entire plate of meats(yes I did ask for vegetarian before each course, so ate nothing again). At this point we left as we asked if we co up ld take our daughters food to our room as she was very unwell, amd was told by management, it would absolutely not be possible to take food to her, after not eating all day. We wher tss as ken to the side by a lovely waiter and told where to find guest services, amd sat for over an hour eating, before I gave in amd marched into the restaurant, d found a nice staff member who got me a napkin amd allowed me to take some melon to my daughter( nothing more substantial was allowed). Honestly, after all this and no air con in our new room, leaking shower and again no safe that’s wired in, a cleaner who doesn’t clean, couldn’t even get a single loo roll or towel(maybe as we had the nerve to complain about our room initially), we had to endure some woman amd man in a wheelchair, who rocked up at around 7 am and start trying to rip our stuff off our sunbeds whilst I was trying to get a drink and doughnut for my daughter at breakfast, whilst my partner was on our beds, where we’d been since 5.30 am as we’ve been kept awake every night by staff partying g with guests until gone 3.30 am almost every night, as our air con doesn’t work so have been trying to get sleep in our balcony(others in our block have slept with their balcony amd front door open, to try and get some sleep, which is horrendous. This hotel isn’t safe in any way, shape or form). The woman was screaming at my partner telling him to F off, they want be there as her man was disabled in a wheelchair( he had cut hi felt entitled to remove anyone who had already been sat for an hour and half, decided to sit there, due to my daughters sunburn, also as mentioned slready, I can’t get in and out the pool, also needed to be between the toilets if possible as am awaiting surgery for complete abdominal prolapse and am double incontinent), but nope, the woman was screaming and shouting , amd the husband rose up and hit my partner with a big metal cup full of drink, then tried to swing at his head, amd a further swing with his fist, shouting we want two parasols as disabled. Honestly, all we needed on day 5 of this place, was a morning to rest up as by now, we’ve all got horendous toilet issues and dehydrated, as getting drinks is just as hard as getting food. Yes we’d asked love holidays to move us, and they asked for photos, of which took 2 days to send as WiFi is so bad, to then have the case closed. The agressive guests then proceeded to get security to come remove our stuff, so in principle and after trying to explain I have 5 crumbled disks, just undergone surgery to remove 2.5 stone of lumps from my stomach, a full hysterectomy, two carpel tunnel surgeries, I have no feeling in both legs due to peripheral neuropathy, suffer ms and seizures, amd have a complete abdominal and rectal prolapse, and needed the beds we got up early to secure, then to be accused of removing this other couples items, amd security young lad trying to pull all our stuff off the beds, as well as laughing his head off, was disgusting. I refused to move, so management wher brought over. Eventually a pool guy stepped in and said he saw everything, we had been there already and that they guy repeatedly hit my partner, as did other guests. Then the couple refused to move and sat spitting at us amd offering to fight us. My partner got so annoyed he was half an hour later shouting for police to be called, at which point he was escorted out the building, amd we wher moved elsewhere, but complaints wher not listened to. We wher offered a free trip on quads or camels, but I can’t , we just want to go home, even the director said they can’t remove the other guests as they are going home tommorow as are we, amd he is disabled as he hurt his foot on the beach. Here it is acceptable to hit another guest and intimidate them because of disability, you’re to hit someone without consequences. We will be seeking a full refund, amd will take this as far as needs to go .we should have paid to get out, we wish we had, but tried so hard to make it simple for our daughter with autism, who ended up spending more time sleeping due to stress Lifts-mostly always broken down or overcrowded: expect half an hour in a lift to get where you need to be Going home today and cannot wait. we have been before to a 3 star which was so much cleaner, safer and friendlier than here. Most things at the hotel are closed, and the only entertainment is the animation team. The night club is closed, the onsight cafe is no longer here, no amphitheater as it dilapidated and overgrown, amd entertainment happens on the volleyball court on a makeshift stage. Hence the partying outdoors as there’s nothing to do here. After our initial two days, we thought we’d give the place the benefit of the doubt-we wher so wrong. Won’t return
The hotel's location is absolutely beautiful, and the sea is crystal clear and clean. Unfortunately, that's where the positives begin to fade. The beach itself could be much cleaner, and the hotel accommodations are nowhere near a true 4-star international standard. I would rate it closer to a 2-star hotel. The rooms were not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and maintenance was poor. After every shower, half of the bathroom / room floor flooded. The refrigerator in our room didn't work, and despite requesting a replacement, nothing was done during our entire one-week stay. The air conditioning also struggled to cool the room properly. The elevators were one of the biggest frustrations. There simply aren't enough for the size of the hotel, and several were out of service for the entire week without being repaired. Waiting 10–15 minutes for an elevator became routine, so we ended up using the stairs. Another inconvenience was that only one room key was provided. While I understand the hotel's effort to reduce electricity consumption, this policy is very impractical, especially when two adults are sharing a room. It unnecessarily limits guests' freedom to come and go independently. The hotel manager was helpful and accommodating, but the reception staff—particularly one of the female receptionists—was not friendly or welcoming. Customer service at the front desk could definitely be improved. The restaurant was another disappointment. The beer was served warm, which made it unpleasant to drink, and the service was consistently slow. Overall, this hotel has an amazing location and beautiful water, but it has too many maintenance, cleanliness, and service issues to justify its 4-star rating. With significant improvements, it could be a wonderful place to stay. Until then, I recommend arriving with realistic expectations.
Everything Was okey,thé entairtement team ,the bool was clean ,the sea ,the bar men were gentle, only the rooms was not clean enough for a family it wasnt cleaned for 3 days
I’ve been to Tunsia 4 times and this hotel is absolute awful. I came last April, gone down hill. I’ll never come back here they over fill it with guests and not enough room. Food is awful, I have to go outside the hotel to eat and waste money daily. Animation is alright not the best but good enough. The beds are very uncomfortable and hard and the cleaning is very bad, dust every where, floors not cleaned and there’s an egg sulphur smell that stays in the room all day. Also the AC doesn’t work, have to sleep with door open. There’s one life guard who doesn’t let you save beds. His gives you until 9am for you to be on the bed and expect you to be there all day. Otherwise he will remove your towel and your beds will be gone. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel there is definitely better, it’s like living in a ran down hotel.
We had a great time, the weather was lovely, the food was great and Zizou was particularly nice and welcoming
Mouhib J is the best barmen in hotel
Absolutely shocking Hotel not fit for purpose. Filthy chaotic and falling apart! If you’re thinking of coming here DO NOT !! If you’ve booked cancel! This place needs closing down. THIS IS NOT A 4 star hotel. Rooms are dirty and antiquated, fixtures and fittings falling apart. Lifts are filthy and not cleaned. The restaurant has to be one of the worst. Food is awful, noisy and chaotic. drinks machine doesn’t work, no cutlery or spoons. Food splashes up the walls and worse still guests putting serving tongs in their mouths! picking up food with their fingers and putting it back. Same food every day some of it isn’t edible! This is such a shame as staff are helpful and nice. Pool area surprisingly nice. The beach is dirty with cigarette buts bottles and rubbish everywhere. sun beds are broken. Outdoor food serving places are awful dirty and a health hazard. In fact I have had a stomach bug whilst here. Only here for 5 days that’s more than enough!!!
A big thank you to the whole team for your professionalism, positive energy, and teamwork. You made our experience enjoyable and memorable. Keep up the great work a special thanks to lolo for her kindness
This was not our usual destination and I can safely say we will never be back . This whole experience was awful . Just to be clear , we always stay AI so we fully understand that all inclusive food can be a hit or a miss but the food here is terrible with no variety . Our room was barely cleaned , we had to ask at reception for clean towels as we never had any put in our room , our bedding hasn’t been changed all week . There is a dose of stomach issues going round the place but and there isn’t any soap in any of the dispensers so nobody can wash their hands properly . The male workers in the animation team are all over the young women and girls and it’s really uncomfortable to watch . We really feel like our annual holiday has been stolen from us and we won’t be returning or recommending this place
recently stayed here and had a mixed experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely funny. They made the stay enjoyable and always had a smile on their faces. Their positive attitude and great customer service were definitely the highlight of my visit. Food wasn’t amazing had to go out to eat most nights.
Location brilliant, staff good, rooms untidy, bathroom/ shower water leaking, toilet not flushing & ac not working 😕 to top it off only 1 room key reception system down
We have just returned from the Riadh Palms Resort & Spa in Sousse. I really cannot believe that anyone can write a bad review about this place...we are pretty fussy with our hotel selections and this really is an amazing place!! Yes, parts are a little tired but the food choices, cleanliness, beautiful beach and amazing swimming pool cannot be faulted at all, as well as the amazing staff. Whilst talking about the pool...I had the misfortune of slipping whilst getting out of the pool, fell back and cracked my skull open! Was totally out of it for a while but the hotel staff ( and many guests) were amazing. Went to hospital for scans, tests and 7 stitches. All the hotel staff were so helpful but the one who was absolutely amazing was the Manager - Safira...she came with us to hospital and stayed during all my time there, helping with translations and procedures. She really deserves a special award!! Back to the hotel - you cannot fault the choices of food, both in the main dining room and snack huts scattered around the grounds. If you arrive late there is a 24 resturant which does good snacks. One thing to bear in mind which we were not made aware of either by our On the Beach operator or hotel reception on arrival- there is an A la Carte restaurant which you can book once during your stay. We didnt find out about this until our final day and were not able to book it so book early. Outside the hotel there are about 10 shops which are all very reasonable and sell all the usual clothing, bags, drinks, jewellery etc at prices the same as the market. The market ( Modena) is a pleasant 15 minute walk along seafront although there are very few bars or cafes to pop in for a drink on the way. The Modena is open daytime hours only and is a maze of narrow streets selling everything you can imagine. Lots of bartering and pushy pushy but that is their livlihood and they are only trying to make a living, all part of the fun! So- in summary, if you are thinking that the price of this hotel and any poor reviews reflect its standard, you will be very wrong!! We rate the food as some of the best choices we have experienced and beachside location brilliant! Above all- the staff are amazing and well worth a few quid in tips every day ( they will still take English pound coins) for all their hard work. Well done Riadh Palms and Safira - we will definitely return!
I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. While at the bar, I noticed that glasses did not appear to be properly washed between customers. Instead of being thoroughly cleaned, they seemed to be quickly rinsed with water and reused for serving drinks to other guests, Shortly after my stay, I became ill with stomach-related symptoms, which has raised serious concerns for me about the hygiene standards at the hotel. While I cannot say for certain what caused my illness, the practices I observed at the bar left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about guest safety, I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its hygiene and sanitation procedures to ensure a safer experience for future guests.
Overall it was okay experience. Location is absolutely beautiful with beach view, food was good, service in main restaurant was ridiculous, they were very moody. First day there, our bathroom light wasn't working, told them few times, someone came to have a look and said will sort it out which they didnt so we didnt have light in our bathroom. We were in family area which was very outdated, their bathroom absolutely stinks! Due to not having any fans in bathroom, toilet was dirty, preferred using downstairs toilet rather than our own rooms. Restaurant staff were quite rude, they all expected a tip for a smile, except for one staff member he would play little tricks (forget to get his name) Hated their service of them bringing drinks to our table we can get our own food why weren't we allowed to bring our own drinks to our tables ? Shops around the hotel didnt have much and staff there were too snobby. Kids play area was all broken, slides were damaged. Last but not least THERE IS NO ICECREAM !! They only served ice cream during dinner that too not every day !
the animation team were brilliant every single one them , always got so much energy and always putting there all into their shows , absolutely amazing
This hotel is the worst I stayed no air conditioning when questioned was told the 16 th will be switched on,disgusting but even worse was when in the pool someone decided to leave excretes in there I know because it was me who was unfortunate to put my foot in it. The pool attendant just put chemicals in it not close it,disgusting I will never ever go back to this dump
Hotel itself is ok, rooms are ok need a little updating and very warm we asked to be moved to lower floor and on other side of building even offering to pay and rude reception women just kept saying no to us not even trying to help with two babies struggling with the heat as no air con until 15th June. The breakfast is not good at all unless you like crepes, crossaints or doughnuts. The restaurant was far too busy and very overwhelming for the children. No children options at all and no spoons anywhere the waiting staff were lovely but the cooks were rude. The lifts let the hotel down as we sometimes had to wait 20 mins to even go down to entertainment we even carried the pram several times down the marble staircase. The pool is good and clean and plenty sunbeds. Snack bars during the day are really good we ate there instead of the restaurant. The beach was dirty. They dont do ice cream or lollies during The day for the children so we had to buy at yhe shops. The best thing about this hotel is the entertainment staff they are amazing and keeping this hotel going. The street noise is ridiculous on a night until 4.30am every night so get sea view rooms. If u dont like smoke everywhere avoid this hotel as smoking is everywhere even in reception. The kids club floors and tables were filthy. Our room wasn't swept or mopped once the whole stay and bedding wasn't changed when we put the yellow card on but they removed the sheet and didn't bring it back along with no towels one day and our other rolm had no pillow cases. We will not be going back as there was too many little issues.
Disgusting hotel. Don’t fall for the pictures or any good reviews. This place is a trap, staff is incredibly rude and useless. Food is inedible . Beach is dirty, I’m sorry I came here / it’s a terrible disgusting place and no management takes any responsibility
Riadh Palms was an ideal location for walking to the promenade or shops in the evening.THere are a few stars that work there mainly the Night Manager Mr Moez who was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable and solved our problem very quickly. The restaurant staff are excellent they have such a hard job. Unfortunately the reception staff leave a lot to be desired when it comes to Customer Service I know its not an easy job but politeness and an occasional smile would make their job more bearable for them.Madam Ahlem on reception is very experienced helpful friendly and funny she should be in charge of training the other reception staff.overall we had a good stay atvthe hotel. It is very clean and I would stay again,
Great pool and animation team! Nice restaurant and à la carte restaurant with very friendly staff willing to help with anything!!
Very good enjoyed it a lot would come again mimi very nice

Arrived on 14th may for 10 days, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the most amazing staff, very kind and very helpful, I genuinely had the best holiday, and I don’t have any bad words to say, I would highly recommend visiting, i will be returning in October, I would like to thank all staff, the whole animation team are amazing, especially LouLou, Maya, Max and Bomba, Thank you Riadh palms
Best hotel in susa. Big rooms, good foood. Lot of things to do. Best entertiment team on the world🤘😁 I recomended on 100 % 😃👍😝
Went on holiday here with family and had the best time met a lovely animation team called Mimi and micha both very friendly and always took time to come over and speak to us ! Had a great conversation and always willing to get us all involved with activities I highly recommend coming here for a family holiday 100%
We stayed there for a few nights in late May. Kamel on reception was wonderful at answering all our questions, he allowed us to view 2 other rooms which were larger with double sea view balconies and upgraded us the next day and for a small fee we were able to extend checkout due to a late return flight. All the staff we came across were great, notably Yassin who showed us the upgraded rooms, Ismail and Mohammed in the outside buffet seating area and the chefs - the fresh donuts for breakfast were delicious. The security beach and bar staff were also really helpful always making sure to provide loungers and drinks with a smile. Kamel is the front face of the resort and a real credit with his level of efficiency and helpfulness.
We had a wonderful stay at Riadh Palms Resort & Spa in Tunisia. The hotel is located right on a beautiful sandy beach with stunning sea views. The rooms were comfortable, the food was varied and delicious, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The highlight of our holiday was definitely the animation team. They were incredibly energetic, professional, and enthusiastic, creating a fantastic atmosphere every day. There were plenty of activities, including pool games, sports, dancing, and entertainment for both adults and children. The evening shows were fun, well-organized, and full of positive energy. The animation team worked hard to make every guest feel involved and entertained, and they truly made our vacation unforgettable. The hotel offers great facilities, a large swimming pool, direct beach access, and a relaxing spa area. Overall, Riadh Palms Resort & Spa is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable holiday in Tunisia. Thank you to the entire team for the amazing experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.
I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. The food was varied and delicious, with a wide selection of both local and international dishes. The pool and common areas were clean and pleasant, making them perfect for relaxation. The hotel’s location is also excellent – close to the beach and major tourist attractions. The value for money is outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in Tunisia. I was especially impressed by the animation team. They were energetic, friendly, and always made sure that guests were having a great time. Their activities and evening shows were fun, well organized, and created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the stay. Thanks to them, my holiday was even more enjoyable. I left with a perfect impression of the hotel and would gladly recommend it to others.

The fun team is very fun especially the boy BOMBA!!!! Animation team BOMBA guy :d :d :d
The hotel is great with good food and good service. My favorite animator is called Bomba, he is nice, kind and very polite to the guests.
We are here right now. Very nice place. Animators are doing very good job. Nice, polite people. Really recommend....Bomba best Animator 😊
We booked here for 10 nights still here till 10 june. Location is a little bit out of the main part of sousse but its about 20 min walk into a busy area. Feel safe within the hotel plenty of security around the outside too. Plenty of bars and food choices throughout the hotel.. so deffo found something to eat and drink. The entertainment team are fantastic with activities throughout the day they work hard getting the guests too join in great entertainment for adults and children everyone is welcome to join in.. Bomba and josef are great.. Only fault is the beach has alot of bits in the sand from guests but they do try there best to clean it everyday. Rooms are basic but very clean and tidy the cleaners have cleaned and changed our towels everyday.. beds made everyday.
I have had a bad experience at one of the hotels in sousse prior to heading to RIADH PALMS hotel where i found an amazing treatment. The reception staff were very helpful especially AHLEM . The rooms were very clean , equipped with everything a person would need and most importantly very clean !! The food was excellent and varied. Staff at the restaurant always smiled at you and tried to be as helpful as possible. You basically have access to food 24/24 since they have another restaurant by the pool for people that arrive late at night or very early in the morning. They had entertainment going on every day and a lot of activities during the day including Yoga , dancing and beach volleyball. The pool was very clean and well taken care of . Easy access to the beach and multiple food/snacks area around it . Overall i recommend it as i have enjoyed my experience at this hotel and will definitely come back !!
Brilliant hotel. We just came home on Thursday and had an amazing week. All the staff are very friendly, welcoming, work really hard and do an amazing job. Bar staff, entertainment staff and my wee pals in the snack bar. Moez, Maya, Walid, Majid, Beliel, Ahmed to name a few. Entertainment was great, food was good (most I’ve eaten on any holiday, hotel was clean and tidy and had the best room we could have asked for. We will definitely be returning next year. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel was lovely, the outdoor space was amazing with lots of sun-beds available both around the pool and on the beach. The animation staff at the hotel are brilliant, they are very welcoming, entertaining and great with all guests. They provided activities for all ages and interacted with you throughout the day making you smile.
My 4th trip to this hotel. And it keeps improving its all inclusive offering. The ala carte restaurant does Italian , Tunisian and Seafood nights. The main restaurant is very very well provided for - at dinner over 100 dishes to choose from . With very attentive waiters. And a choice of sitting indoors or on the beautiful terrace outdoors. Outside low season there are multiple snack huts open all daytime outside serving , crepes , waffles , paninis , wraps , pizzas , French fries , baguette sandwiches, burgers in a bun. In fact there’s no reason to be hungry at this hotel . The -1 level All inclusive bar is a great place to relax and feel the evening vibe, as well as lovely coffees during the day. The new manager there really seems to be raising standards. The staff there are all so friendly. We didn’t take part in the evening entertainment the hotel provided but plenty people did and seemed to enjoy themselves. There is also an American cash bar which had recently been refurbished. As well as a disco which stays open until 2am - drinks payable here. There are trips organisers at the hotel who will help you with quad bikes , horse riding or pirate ship. Nice man around the pool will also show you his jewellery wares. The beach is beautiful here with helpful attendants and plenty sunloungers. Poolside is beautiful too with outdoor and heated indoor pool. WiFi is fine in communal areas but hit and miss in the guest rooms. If internet is important buy an orange Tunisia SIM card for your phone at the airport when you arrive. Overall this is a hotel that excels at happy holidays and great value for money. Glad to see it keep improving. We'll be back.
Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this hotel has everything and more you would want and need, it’s great value for money and everything is just on the doorstep. My first time to Tunisia and won’t be my last and are booking this fabulous hotel again for next year, the biggest highlight is the staff.. ALL staff from bar staff, animation team, restaurant and shop staff they all can’t do enough for you and are just effortlessly so friendly, they definetly gave 5 star treatment throughout our whole stay, there are so many facilities on site and lots going on, the beach is right next to the pool and is beautiful and clean, the food could be improved but there’s a wide selection and we didn’t go hungry, plenty of little shacks with burgers chips and paninis ect. Thankyou so much for having us and giving us an unforgettable stay, see you next year!!
amazing hotel, the animation staff are amazing, special shout out to Zizoo the foods great, hotels nice and clean
