Everything at the hotel was exceptional - from hospitality to food to service. No complaints. We even ended up extending our stay by a day - just because everything at the hotel was so perfect!

Not much of a fan of Raddison Frenchise. The moment we entered the lobby, it became clear this was different and a very aesthetically designed, niche hotel. Our four days stay here confirmed the hotel's pursuit of excellence in all aspects. Always attentive and sensitized and trained to give the guests a happy and rich experience. The hotel has created a huge terrace overlooking the hills and the valley right outside the large dining room. Families hung around here enjoying the live guitar and singing in the evenings. Many guests were up early in the morning enjoying their cutting chai with the valley view. The Decor of the Room was pleasing and very functional. Across the hotel, each carpet selected looked a special picking. Many areas had niche seating. An electrical Vhair for the old to navigate two short flights of steps was very thoughtful. One of the interesting aspects for me was the tremendous Team Work visible. It was fun to see the chef coming out and checking the banquet and talking to the guests and his own staff. All in all, a great stay, great view from our room and the terrace, very affable and cheerful staff - great attention to details. Would love to stay here gain should we return to Shimla. Cheers for the Delhi Family that continues to run the hotel itself.

There were a lot of problems with the hotel room, 1st the hotel room floor was very slippery for a wooden room. The room size was very small for it to be a suite. The extra bedding that they got is broke in the middle of the night and my dad almost hurt himself. The door of the balcony got jammed, and we had to literally shift rooms after a 12 hour journey because the room was such a mess.

Size and view from room was very good. Very few people at breakfast or dinner so was a little worried buffet might have sat out too long.

Room smelt of smoking particularly the curtaining but was too tired to ask to change rooms as only stayed one night. TV Remote instructions do not make clear you have to turn the box on by underneath the shelf, had to call someone to ask.

Bel hôtel, superbes vues, personnel très gentil, notamment Tanya et Khalil. Le restaurant est excellent du petit-déjeuner au diner, le buter chicken est délicieux

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Except paratha , fresh and to order! Location was great too and the views were amazing!

The room was very cold and we paid for an upgraded Bigger room and then a smaller room, the night VIP room was cold. The aircon did not work to make the room hotter. Eventually the hotel did bring a physical heater. But it needed to be on 24/7 to make the room warmer. The spa was good, however again was absolutely freezing. Both me and my mum went and they only had one heater. So I ended up shivering during my massage…… which wasn’t great.

Location, atmosphere, the staff are clearly well managed because they were all wonderful and considerate.

There was no Gym

A very comfortable hotel, like all the top hotels located outside the town centre, the free shuttle bus was very useful. Breakfast was excellent and the room was spacious with spectacular views.

The wifi was poor, painfully slow. I was shocked that rice in the dinner menu was 600INR.

Beautiful hotel which overlooked the valley in Shimla. We had a lovely welcome when checking in, and our room was superb...Great price, Great shower.

The staff at the restaurant wasnt friendly at all. Location is off the mall road. The hotel is located 5kms from the mall road lift, it is connected to the end of mall road but thats far from the centre. Breakfast had limited options. The reason we paid so much was the proximity to the mall but alas didnt get. Could have booked 2 nights somewhere else for the price of one here.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Radisson Hotel, Shimla. The staff were exceptionally polite and always eager to help. The rooms were clean, and the food was good. However, the bathroom felt a bit outdated and could use an upgrade. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Excellent property in the heart of Shimla. Close to major attractions with complimentary shuttle service to go to Mall road. Amazing food at the restaurant with lots of choices at the breakfast buffet. Tried Himachal Thali which was delicious and flavourful. What made the entire experience memorable was the exceptional courtesy and service of the hotel staff. Very much enjoyed the entire experience. Hotel’s executive chef Rajiv Bhardwaj and their team went out of the way to make us welcome and comfortable.

No fitness facility however given the amount of walking and stairs climbing in the city didn’t feel the need

Pool maintenance.

The food was delectable. The location was apt as the hotel is just few mins away from Shimla Mall road. The drop off and pick up facility was provided by the hotel itself.

Some staff member started knocking on our door around 11:15 pm saying housekeeping. He knocked on the door(Room No.2001) multiple times and rang the bell also (although the service was requested in Room No.2002). There was a lot of disturbance outside our room .Finally had to request the staff members in the corridor area around 12:45 am to not disturb us further. Also ,My husband had to wait for 20-25 mins for a cocktail during lunch time. The room service was really slow. Considering 57,000 for two day stay in Shimla, the experience was not at all great. We were here to celebrate our birthday, Nothing was complementary not even a single piece of cake or any flower arrangement. Not even a single staff member wished me Happy Birthday.

Clean and good property with swimming pool

1. Booking.com of property page says 5 swimming pools. There is 1. Incorrect information. 2. Couldnt use swimming pool because water was vedy cold. 3. Reached very late in evening and asked to extend the stay till 3pm; plainly refused; even though hotel wasnt near full as well. New from 5 star. Generally if its not fully booked; extending stay by couple of hours or so isnt an issue.

The property is amazing, Tamanna was very courteous & tries to accommodate major of our requests. Restaurant has amazing and food was delicious. Every staff member is so courteous & do their best to make you at ease. Aditya also helped accommodate our shuttle requests last minute. Cheers to the amazing property & Kudos to an amazing team!!

It was lovely staying at the Radisson Jass Shimla, and I must say, the property is absolutely stunning! The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and courteous, making the entire experience even more memorable. A special shout-out to Rakesh & Sudiksha who checked us in. He was very professional, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable right from the start. The restaurant staff was also wonderful and ensured that all our needs were met. Gorgeous property, the excellent staff, or the wonderful food, everything about this place made for an unforgettable experience!

My stay at Radisson Jass Shimla, though just for one night, was an experience I’ll always cherish. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine warmth and kindness. The entire staff, especially at the front desk, were extremely courteous and down-to-earth. It was heartening to know that most of them are local Pahadis—people native to Shimla—who bring a special charm and humility to their service. After two sleepless nights traveling from Bangalore, carrying my 8-year-old due to limited connectivity, I was exhausted. Mr. Rakesh at the front desk went out of his way to arrange an early check-in, ensuring my daughter and I could rest. That thoughtful gesture made all the difference and showed true hospitality. The breakfast spread was generous, and the in-room dining service was both fast and delicious. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to nearby attractions, which added great convenience to our short stay. Everything about the experience—from the service to the people—was simply perfect. Radisson Jass Shimla is a shining example of hospitality done right. I truly hope they continue this level of service. People will not only love the hotel but also the warm-hearted Pahadi spirit behind it.

Not easy to find room sign post are good but hard to follow?

Great location. Bedroom faced the valleys which was amazing to wake up to. Staff very helpful. There’s a free short shuttle bus that takes you to the end of the road where you take the steps up to Mall road. Spa facilities were great also. My only criticism is that the pool needs to be better maintained. The tiles could with a good scrub and clean. The water, needs a regular netting of leaves and bugs. Due to this i didn’t fancy a chill session in the pool.

Layout of hotel over many buildings and levels quite confusing.

It's a good property, staff is very welcoming and room has a good valley view. Good breakfast and a shuttle facility to go to the mall road. Special mention Aradhana and Rakesh, they were very courteous and helpful.

Food prices are really steep.

Positive- Few courteous staff members Disappointments - one really needs to know even before booking, in which block you are booking, the bookings in A block which are not suits but rooms, are extremely disappointing for the money you pay, we paid almost 23000 per night, and we had expectations of service to that level. Having experienced the excellence in hospitality of taj from mumbai. Dehli, Udaipur and such for comparable cost, the service received here was clearly gave us a feeling of ‘loss of money’. Particularly those who are elderly, or need ease of movement for one place to another in a hotel, these rooms aren’t meant for them. Plus it’s really not possible to know about these hurdles from online portals, the staff isn’t courteous enough to give all details. The day we reached the complete road to hotel was blocked, we couldn’t go out for any sight seeing, considering only two days we had we lost one half day just being at hotel where there was major restrictions on movement due to various levels and lack of lifts ( my husband needs assistance for climbing up and down) The temperature of the room can be adjusted only till 19 degree, again for someone who is used to 24 degrees and not below, it was not possible to adjust temperature and we were told that either we switch the ac off ( with no ventilation ) and only then they may provide heater ( if we keep ac off) what kind of science and engineering is this ? We don’t mind not having ac if there is a scope for ventilation

Faucets were blocked and bidet was leaky throughout my stay. Staff were very welcoming and cordial. Some breakfast items were not up to the mark, cold or not well prepared.

Professionalism at all forms. I had a pleasant stay and the views from the room was awesome. They have shuttle pick-up and drop-off to certain point if you are going out from the hotel. If i ever come back to Shimla, this hotel will be on my first thought.

Wifi could have been better, especially for customers who depends on wifi. It was bit annoying at times

- Behaviour of staff - They charged my Credit Card without my consent and knowledge. I think this is illegal in India. I didnt enter any OTP or Pin code even. I have raised a dispute also for the same. - Room view was pathetic as they had seating area of restaurant outside my room, so cant keep curtains open as it hampers the privacy - When I asked to change my room they simply told me that they cant offer any other room in same category and if I want I can withdraw my stay but they wont return my money. So Ill have to loose my money. - All services were closed or something or the other not functional. - Kids room was too cold and they didnt have heater in it. One heater was der but it wasnt working. - All other services were below average. - Food quality & taste was below average - My room didnt have lift access

These upgrades would make the property more convenient and enjoyable.

Staff was excellent. Sometimes the Shuttle was not available for pickup.

Our stay at the Radisson was really disappointing. While there were some minor issues like the room was stinking when we went in, there a few major issues 1) The floor was very very slippery and the rug didn't cover the whole area, so we fell/almost fell multiple times 2) The base of our Kettle in our room was FILLED with Fungus. When I then called to inform them, there was no apology from the manager, and he was just like: we'll change your room if thats what you want. I was really frustrated with his answer. The front desk staff and the service staff were courteous and nice, but the overall experience was very disappointing.

The team right from security, house keeping , F&B front office were full of energy, very helpful and courteous. Impressed to see a global level of services by the hotel.

The location is little offset with connecting road not being good

The fixtures and fittings are all modern and clean. The restaurant did great food at breakfast and dinner. The location is good, but be aware it’s a short but very uphill walk to the Mall and Ridge.

We booked a suite with a bath. On arrival we were given a suite with no bath and it became quickly apparent why the photos of this room had the curtains drawn. It was immediately above the entrance and car park with no view. We were moved to a lesser room with a lovely view but no discount on the price was offered. On day two we had a morning hike and had pre booked 2pm treatments at the Spa. When we arrived 5pm slots were suggested due to the noise of building work. We had a trip planned for 5pm so said “don’t worry about the noise, we’ll go ahead” it was at this point the Spa team admitted they had another commitment and couldn’t fulfil our appointment, so we had been lied to! If we’d been told in advance that would have been ok, but it really messed up our plans. Throughout our stay the hairdryer wouldn’t work, my wife has long hair so needs it. The plug wouldn’t stay in the socket. We had 3 replacements, a promised visit from maintenance never arrived and it was just very annoying. The staff were always very polite but weren’t empowered to make decisions, every question was responded with “take a seat while I talk to my manager” this isn’t their fault, it’s a failure of the leadership on site.
