The staff were very friendly toward us and our baby.

Great location
Sunbeds are a lie folk leave for 5-6 hours and no staff take away towels , Some folk take double sunbeds for sun and shade Towels are a joke Ants everywhere in the hotel
First time staying here and I can say what’s pleasant and enjoyable experience, from staff to facilities I could not fault them, well stocked drinks and buffet restaurant was great a good selection of food daily. I will surely return.
Perfect family holiday. We (grandparents) stayed at the Zafiro with our family including two grandsons 10 and 7. Great children’s entertainment, really friendly energetic kids team. Lots of activities for the children. we were all inclusive, food was excellent plenty of variety at all times. couldn’t fault. Very clean hotel, all staff very pleasant and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the outside restaurant. Near to the beach if you want to go there and a lovely promenade to walk. Entertainment team included Chris, Greta and Nuria. a special shout out to Nuria, for some excellent yoga and Pilates 🧘🏼♀️ classes a genuine professional instructor 💖. Would recommend this hotel for a family holiday. 🎉✈️
Amazing hotel, Bruno mars entertainment was amazing. Absolutely unbelievable. Definitely recommend. Staff are super friendly, day time entertainment for kids is mega. Definitely coming back.
The Zafira Palmanova is a fab hotel for families. We travelled with our 6 year old daughter would absolutely loved the pool - so much fun. Rooms were clean & spacious. Entertainment every night suited both adults & kids. Also the cocktails are amazing! Close to the beach & some lovely restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone thinking of booking.
Unfortunately, I don’t feel this hotel was worth the price we paid. The room felt quite tired and in need of some updating. We booked a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, but there was no shade at all, so it was far too hot to sit outside and enjoy it during the day. The main pool area also felt incredibly cramped, with nowhere near enough umbrellas or shaded areas for the number of guests. Felt chaotic due to the sun-beds being so close together. Plus the rule of towels get taken after 40mins if no show, they do not do this which is a shame. So you’ll be lucky to get a bed. We also had some disappointing service issues. We asked reception what time dinner finished and were told 10:15 pm. We arrived at 9:20 pm only to be told we were too late, which was frustrating. At check-in, we felt quite rushed and weren’t given a proper explanation of the hotel layout or map, which would have been helpful. Our baby’s towel also went missing for a few days, which they did replace and our bedroom door creaked loudly every time it was opened or closed. With a sleeping baby, this became a real inconvenience. Location was good, 7 min walk to lovely beach and gorgeous restaurants. Overall, our stay didn’t meet our expectations, especially considering the cost. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here
The staff at this hotel are amazing. From the warm reception upon arriving to the the waving off when leaving, they smile all day long. The hotel including our room was extremely clean and the air conditioning coped brilliantly with temperatures in the middle 30's. We were on an all inclusive package and the food and drinks were excellent. My granddaughter is vegetarian and was very pleased with the wide selection of food available. In fact I started copying her food choices as they were so appealing. The cocktails were a highlight. The location of the hotel was great, just a very short walk to a lovely clean beach. We hired pedalos on 3 days and had a great time. When we enquired at reception about buses to Palma we were advised to take a taxi in as the buses are often full by the time they reach Palmanova and to take the bus on the return journey. This was great advice and we ended up taking a taxi both ways for 23 euro in and 27 euros return . In 35 degrees of heat being picked up and dropped off at the hotel door in an air conditioned taxi was bliss. The entertainment was good but I feel the acts are asked to do an hour which is a bit too long. So in summary we loved the hotel and would definitely return.
4th time staying at this hotel and the whole family love it. My two kids are so comfortable here the staff are all lovely. Kids club team and bar/ restaurant staff all work so hard. Recommend this hotel to everyone and will be back next year.
This is our 4th visit to Zafiro Palmanova and we had an amazing time as we have done in previous years. I have a 7 and 10 year old and they love it here, the pool is a hit along with the activities and the soft play at mealtimes (lifesaver for us parents too!) The hotel is in a perfect location with a few minutes walk to the beach and the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained by the incredible staff. Upon check in we were upgraded to a swim up room, which proved very helpful when my oldest developed an ear infection towards the end of the holiday. This meant he could still enjoy the water without the risk of his ear getting wet. The staff absolutely make this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and the fact we see the same faces year after year proves they enjoy their job. The food is great, one of the reasons we first picked this hotel is the good reviews from Coeliac customers. I have coeliac disease and in the four years we have been coming here I have not once been ill. Everything is well labelled and the chef has no issues taking you around to point out what you can and cant have. Great service! I have a very picky eater in one of my children and he always found plenty to eat. The ONLY thing that let it down this year was the sunbed situation. In the previous years a note was left on a sunbed with a time if no one was there. If they had not returned within 40 mins then the towels were removed. A great system that seems to have been forgotten about this year. During our stay there was a large group of around 12 people. Mostly adults. From around 6.30 the grandmother would take 12 sunbeds and remain there, however the rest of the party would not show up until after lunch. I saw families turn up at pool with nowhere for them or their children to sit. This seemed to have a knock on effect with others then reserving beds and by 7.30am there was nothing left. Zafiro, please re introduce the 40 minute rule and the enforcement as this does have an effect on a relaxing holiday! We will be back next year x
What fabulous hotel food was stunning the staff were so friendly and helpful super clean rooms and grounds positioned brilliant 5 mins walk to the beach so many pools to choose from with games keeping you busy and entertainment in the evenings was brilliant as well
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel and it's amazing! We normally book an adults only hotel but chose this one because of the rooms, we booked the suite with the upstairs terrace with Bali bed and hot tub so there's no need to go to the pool if you don't want to. The rooms are lovely and clean with a bedroom and comfy bed, small living room and kitchenette, the only thing missing is a washing up sponge but they supply washing up liquid and the cleaners don't wash up when they clean the rooms. We're happy to wash up if they supply a sponge. Big bathroom with a lovely waterfall shower and two sinks. When we went to the pool for a swim we normally used the side pools by the swim up rooms, it doesn't seem that they remove people's towels from sunbeds but we always found somewhere to sit. People reserve sunbeds early! The hotel is very family friendly and great for kids. There was some good evening entertainment. Great Michael Jackson performer one night. Location is great, 2 mins walk down some steps to son Matias beach or you can go the other way towards magaluf beach. We didn't eat here so can't comment on that. All staff super friendly and helpful and there is a courtesy room if you have a late check out. Hoping to go back next year!!
Lovely hotel, food lovely and in a good position. Our first time fully inclusive which we really enjoyed. The only thing that let the hotel down was the sunbed joggers. A reason for going to this hotel was because they advertised that they removed towels after 40 minutes which they don't so by 7.30 am almost all the beds were taken and some were there for hours before anyone used them. Don't advertise something that you're not going to enforce.
We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff are absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the reception team, who were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to assist with anything we needed – their excellent customer service made a real difference. The hotel is spotless, with high standards of cleanliness throughout. There is also a great choice of food with plenty of variety at every meal, so there was always something for everyone. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our family holiday so enjoyable! We did have the added advantage of having a swim up room which made so much difference to the toddlers!
We came here with our two daughters and booked a swim up suite where on the website it promised ‘exclusive access’ and private tranquillity to a private swim up pool, the only section you get is the small section at the front which unfortunately only gets the sun for a proportion of the day and is only large enough for two people, the larger section to the front is actually open up to any hotel guest and we had another large family in front of us every day for our entire stay, there was zero peace and privacy as the sunloungers looked directly into our room. Don’t bother booking a swim up suite as you are paying a lot of money for something anyone can have access to, we were all so disappointed and when we approached reception were met with little explanation or care to our query and even when my husband complained on a feedback email from the hotel we received no follow up. We also paid extra to ‘pick’ our room of which I now feel totally duped by, just another way to get money out of people, we would not stay again and certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want some relaxation and a peaceful family holiday.
What an amazing hotel! Location was great, Food was fantastic but most of all what a bunch of amazing staff who make this place what it really is! Rooms were amazing and so clean. You just couldnt fault anything. Well worth he money! A big shout out to Maria Jose and the team on reception who are just such a great front of house team! Nothing is an issue and they cant help enough. In the restaurant Elicio and Africa were just so welcoming and friendly. In all amazing. Having stayed at the Alcudia Palace hotel in prior years I did have my worries about how this other hotel would be but this surpassed by expectations. All in All - Excellent - 5*'s all the way
Perfect location. Great atmosphere. Beautiful rooms apart from grown ups playing on the park in the middle of the night right outside my room. Great value for money plenty of food really could do with more choice for kids. We have a very picky eater who will only eat basic food but we managed to feed her everyday. Kept very clean inside and out. Noise level was fine just people having a great time. Staff were great nothing was to much trouble. Waiting to rebook again for next year cant wait.
Excellent hotel in a great location, minutes from the beach and bars. Very family friendly and the food was outstanding. Lovely rooms too.
Great family friendly hotel. We’ve just arrived home from a lovely family holiday . Grandparents, parents A 5 month old & a nearly 3 year old. Our rooms were large , comfortable & Clean . Both had good sized balconies & pool views & one had a jacuzzi. Always a good choice of food in restaurants to cater for most people’s needs . The staff in the restaurant were all helpful & friendly. Pool areas clean & we always managed to find sunbeds . Good choice of pools to suit the different ages of children . Entertainment in the evenings was what you’d expect in a good family hotel . Hotel is in an ideal location . Far enough not to hear the evening noise of the town but Close enough to walk to lovely beach & main shops , bars (5-10 minute stroll) There is a well stocked supermarket on site as well as an Aldi about 15 minutes walk away . Overall definitely a great hotel I’d come back to with our family.
We recently returned from a 7 night stay as a family of 4 and overall, we would say that the hotel provided everything we needed for the duration of our stay. In previous years, we have stayed in the same hotel in Majorca but this year decided to try somewhere different. We therefore would draw comparisons between the 2 and in most of it not all areas, the Zafiro was lacking. Firstly, we would have expected a better welcome on arrival. The check in seemed very rushed as the hotel was busy and staff seemed quick to rush through the process. Once checked in, the rooms were very nice and our room with a jacuzzi on the balcony was well received by all of us including our children. The pools were great and well geared around children. Our little boy would have chosen to spend hours and hours by the splash pool and the slides were a welcome activity to keep him occupied. The hotel should follow through more often with its 40 minute sunbed rule as whilst there are notices around the pool, I did not see it enforced once during our stay and it was noticeable that beds were reserved for hours on end at times. The buffet and food offering was really disappointing. There was no variation in the food helping even though I read online that there are themed nights - if there are, the differences must be very subtle. It really was boring and repetitive so much so that we went out to eat at times even though we were all inclusive. The à la carte restaurant isn’t a separate restaurant, rather a cordoned off area of the buffet and the food was not good. I would be of the opinion that the food offering was more a 3 star than 4 which severely lets the hotel down. The staff were good although at times, we felt they could have been a little more welcoming, especially with the kids. Perhaps we are comparing to other hotels here but this is an area that we feel there should be some improvements. The hotel is in a great area and the beach and prom are easily accessible from the hotel which is a huge bonus. Overall, the hotel was good and we had a lovely time but not sure we would be rushing back.
Would recommend & would go again. Very clean in all areas.Rooms spacious & modern. Plenty of choices with food & we had picky eaters in our family, tip lunch time you can eat of the al acarte menu on all inclusive.Bar menu was great with loads of choice, not just your usual. Didn’t use but the kids club girls seemed tobe a hit with the younger ones. Plenty of sunbeds,no 7am queuing. Location great not far from everything you need. Only things our family said it needed to give 5 stars would be an overhaul on the mini golf, very tired. And needs an entertainment team with daytime activities, energy & personalities as that is usually fun to watch or get involved with in the day by the pool.
The staff are lovely. Good choice of quality food. Shows were great.
Staff in restaurants too keen to collect empty plates and were always hovering over you which didn't make for a very relaxing expericience
This is a nice hotel for families. The staff are lovely and very efficient and helpful. There is an excellent choice of food in the restaurant. The shows in the evening were of good quality and enjoyed by the whole family. My granddaughter attended the kids club on a couple of occasions and enjoyed her time there . The children's team seem to love their job and are obviously well trained and safety conscious. We visited the nearby beach which has nice sand and was clean. The area down by the beach was a little run down with the shops very basic and dated which is a shame. The only feedback I would have for the hotel is that the restaurant staff are overly keen to clear away plates etc and tend to hover over the tables at meal times which doesn't make for a very relaxed meal .
Just returned from a 7 night stay, we had a great time. The hotel is spotless, and perfect for a family with young kids. The pool was amazing, it was slightly heated. Ice creams on tap from the bar during the day which was great. The food was brilliant, we had something nice to eat most nights and the soft play in the restaurant was a treat for the older kids. The only negative is the queuing for the buffet, I don't understand it when you are queuing behind people trying to get soup if you don't want soup. Then as a mum who had two young kids, and myself to get food for I had to stand in the queue twice and it could be very long at busy dinner times. The cocktails are so lovely from the main bar. The kids club - I went in here sometimes with my 4 year old as she liked to do the crafts. I would say I wouldn't personally put her in on her own as I found some of the women in the team a bit abrupt with the kids and not warm to the children. The mini disco was a little bit boring for my little girl, she normally loves them but this one lost her attention. The park here is brilliant for the kids. The shows at night are all terrible, they do some activities in doors for the children.
We had a great stay. We were 4 adults, a 3 year old and a 6 month old. We went self catering. The reception staff were excellent. The hotel was spotless. Our rooms were a good size with a bedroom kitchenette lounge and a large shower room. Also, a large blacony. The pools were also super clean. Plenty for the kids to do. It was only a 5 minute walk I to Palmanova where there is an abundance of restaurants and shops. Also the beaches were so clean. The entertainment in the hotel was good, we did find the mini disco was on a bit late at 8pm. But the Aquaerobics was great fun, and the bouncy dome and kids pool area was well used by our 3 year old. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families as it has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. The only gripe is the pool is only open 10-6, and the rush for sunbeds was also ridiculous because they cordon off the area at night, so in the mornings there is a huge queue ready for the rush.😡 but we loved the hotel❤️😎🏖
Excellent hotel would highly recommended
Just returned from 5 nights stay at ZafiroPalmanover hotel, our son & family were there for 10 nights with grandchildren. What a fabulous family friendly hotel, wonderful food, spotless clean, brilliant rooms & great pool area for children with slides, The staff are so friendly, helpful & welcoming, a Soecial mention to Elicio Barajas, our waiter in restaurant, who went above & beyond to be so helpful, always smiling & very friendly, would definitely recommend & return to this hotel
Great for the family, toddler and baby were both well accomdated food wise. Wife also being GF was well accomdated.
Just returned from an incredible week at this beautiful hotel! Can not stress enough how fantastic the staff and facilities are, the food was excellent and the location is perfect! We booked the accommodation directly with the hotel half board and we will definately be returning! Thank you Zafiro!
Once again another amazing holiday at Zafiro . Was so good the first time we went back again and was not disappointed. Very warm welcome from all the staff . Food is great with such a selection of choice which helped, as having a 6 and 8 year old it gave them many choices. Chocolate fountain and sweets being there favourite😂. Went over with family as told them how good it was the first time and they also loved it👍🏻. Thanks for making our holiday great and will be back again soon. Thanks Chris
We stayed for 5 nights in May half term, family of 4 with 2 children 7 and 11. Welcome at the hotel was good and the rooms were very nice (pool view suite on reception level). Nice beds and sofa bed with facilities and a huge wetroom bathroom. Lifeguards very attentive and polite aswell as majority of staff who were very good. No sunbed wars as pool opens at 10 and majority closed off until 945ish, could always get beds. The pools were very good and children loved the slides and park. Buffet I would say was OK but not great for a 4 star, repetitive and some of the variety of food and quality not as other 4 and 5 stars but still OK. The ala carte was extremely poor. Located next to buffet restaraunt outside in a small area, food took a very long time and I would say the buffet food was alot better anyway. Some of the childrens staff were not very animated at times, also activities etc wernt made clear alot of the time, seemed to be very lowkey compared to other resorts. Drinks were a bit of a let down, some basic cocktails like Aperol Spritz were not nice and some staff did not know how to make them properly. Cocktails were alot better at similar resorts. Table service at entertainment time was sparse and infrequent, queues and bar service were therefore slow if you had to go up yourself. Entertainment was good on some nights, but some nights the sound system wasnt working properly which impacted the performers. My wife also fell by one of the pools due to unlevel ground, we saw numerous other people falling at the same spot by the auiet pool, hotel needs to address this. Overall a good stay but we feel for a four star there is room for alot of improvement across the board.
My family had a wonderful holiday here, great location, hotel is amazing, fresh and has a nice atmosphere. We booked a one bedroom family room. My 2 children (9&12) had the sofa bed which splits in two, so they didn't have to share a bed and the main bed was spacious and comfy. Air con was available in the rooms, just remember to close the patio doors😉. There was lots of choice at meal times, no complaints and branded drinks . The wristbands where a great idea to order food, drinks and access your room. Three pools, one is heated which is good in the mornings. There is a nice playground, it could just do with a bit more shade. Lovely staff, very helpful and the hotel is very clean and of a high standard. Would recommend, definitely booking with Zafiro again...
Having previously stayed at two other Zafiro hotels in different locations, we were looking forward to our stay at Zafiro Palma and overall had a pleasant family holiday. The biggest positive was how child-friendly the hotel is. Our children absolutely loved the pools, especially the inflatable bouncy pillow in the water, which was a real highlight of the trip. The lifeguards also deserve special mention – they were always attentive, friendly, and appeared genuinely focused on keeping everyone safe around the pool areas. The rooms were comfortable enough and were cleaned regularly throughout our stay, which we appreciated. There were, however, a few areas where the experience fell short compared to other Zafiro properties we’ve visited. We found some of the entertainment staff were not particularly warm or welcoming and, on occasion, came across as quite sharp with children, which was disappointing given the hotel’s family focus. The buffet food was decent but became quite repetitive after a few days. We were also disappointed by the à la carte restaurant, which was simply a sectioned-off area within the main buffet restaurant rather than offering a genuinely different dining experience. One thing we particularly missed from other Zafiro hotels was having a dedicated lunch restaurant separate from the buffet, which helped provide more variety during the day. Given the cost of the holiday, we expected a higher standard and greater variety of food than was on offer. While there was always something to eat, the dining experience did not quite match the premium price point or the standards we had experienced at other Zafiro hotels. Overall, Zafiro Palma offers a good family-friendly holiday with excellent pool facilities and attentive lifeguards, but there are a few aspects that could be improved, particularly the food offering and some elements of the entertainment team, especially when compared with other Zafiro hotels.
I absolutely love this hotel, staff were helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble food and service were all great with a wide choice of food available to cater for everyone. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and lots to do for children of all ages. Would highly recommend, I will definitely be returning
The hotel was fabulous for our family. We went inclusive as we had a family with complex needs. Great variety of food wonderfully made and displayed by a great catering staff. Entertainment was great for all ages at various times if the year. All hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful at any time if the day. There was enough space for all to relax and enjoy. There was a short walk of about 200m to the beach if one preferred to take kids to the wonderful sandy beach and a dip in the Med. Overall a wonderful 7 day trip and I cannot fault this hotel in any way. Looking forward to another holiday there soon.
Overall we had a good time but a few things made it a 4 star review instead of a 5. Rooms nice and clean. Nice big balcony. Food was hit and miss not as much choice as some other hotels we've stayed in in majorca. I liked the omlettes at breakfast. The a la carte was a let down wouldn't recommend. Pools were nice and sun beds wasn't too hard to get. Only thing was by the quieter pool with beds there is uneven flooring, i fell, cut my knee and twisted my ankle, had a limp for a couple days. Someone else in our family almost fell at the same spot a few days later so be careful. Alcoholic drinks were hit and miss I ordered aperol spritz a few times and it tasted terrible so couldn't drink it. The cava was bad too! Entertainment not bad, our 7 year old liked the mini disco. The sound system was really bad one night I felt sorry for the singer! Overall we had a nice stay.
Nice hotel and good holiday but some bits are a let down. Pros; - Pools are excellent. Lots of fun to be had by the kids in the pirate splash pool and on the inflatable in the main pool. - Sunbeds - the hotel stop beds being reserved for more than 40 mins, placing a warning note on beds they find unattended. This prevents an early morning rush so everyone can sleep and enjoy their holiday. Also multiple lifeguards on duty throughout the day. - Very good drink selection including wine list for AI and even selection of kids cocktails. - Rooms nice and cleaned everyday other than Sunday and Wednesday. Cons; - No pool snacks during the day other than ice cream. For a 4 star was surprised you couldn’t order a poolside burger etc. - Food - generally good with a reasonable selection but often not hot and my partner found the fish fingers we had selected for our 18 month old were actually raw inside. - À la Carte - not as advertised. You sit in the same restaurant but just order off a menu and the food is average. - Hotel tries to play to its 4 star status by taking drink orders but is often really slow at taking them and delivering drinks which is just unnecessary where they could just add a jug of water on a table and a beer/wine tap in restaurant as most similar hotels do. It means meals were often completed before drinks arrived. - Only one public baby change toilet for the entire ‘family’ hotel which you also had to speak to the bar staff to access a key for which seemed absurd and unnecessary. - Lots of steps throughout hotel and hard work with a pram.
I've been to the same place for the last 11 years. So it was a real change for us to go somewhere different we are just set in our ways...it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we picked the Zafiro and what a lovely treat it was. I've never seen such a clean hotel our room was spotless the bathroom was amazing loved it and a plug too in it....we booked a penthouse suite and it was just lovely the jacuzzi was so nice and relaxing...the pools where all lovely very cold but there was one slightly heated which was nice..the wrist band was handy it done everything letting u into ur room and paying for stuff as wee where self catering....I'd say it was more geared for all inclusive but it wouldn't suit us...we did eat in the hotel one evening it was a buffer and they had lots to offer it's not 5* dining but definitely decent....the facilities for kids here is amazing so busy with kids that didn't bother us it was a nice buzz. The hotel is just across the road from a few steps that takes u to the beach plus a 10 min walk from Magaluf so u have the best of both worlds....if u are staying self catering there is an aldi a few mins walk away so it's very handy....the evening entertainment seemed to be good enough we could see it from our balcony and the kids seem to enjoy it....would definitely stay again if I got a good deal...palmanova is lovely
We visited with 2 children, 10 month old and 3 year old and it was perfect for them. We had the own bedroom penthouse suite which was plenty of space. The children’s pools were fantastic, plenty of sun loungers and entertainment in the evening. Mini disco every night was a treat for the toddler. There’s a soft play area next to the buffet restaurant which is fantastic to let kids play whilst you finish your meals. Outdoor play area was awesome as well plenty to do and the added bonus of a bouncy castle Plenty of food options for all inclusive! Only minor cons; the children’s pools were freezing and the heated pool was just a normal pool which meant it was full of kids. Can’t be managed as the air temperature wasn’t quite warm enough to heat the children’s pools but everyone was cold getting out. Pool bar was majority of the time long queues as only one member of staff serving and no self serve drinks areas. The à la carte restaurant being the same section as the buffet was a little odd indeed but we enjoyed our meal. Every single waiting staff/ lifeguard/ cleaner is SO FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. Make sure a fuss of the children and ourselves too. We met so many nice families and children and everyone said the same about returning. Zafiro you were a blast. Overall we had the best week and I’d say we will be returning. X
We had a really lovely stay at Zafiro Palmanova and overall had a great holiday. The hotel was very clean, the atmosphere was friendly, and the facilities were perfect for families. A special mention has to go to the pool lifeguards, especially Gustavo. He was absolutely amazing with our son and went above and beyond every single day. He always made such a fuss of him, was so friendly and kind, and would often bring him sweets and fruit whenever he saw him. Little touches like that really made our holiday extra special and are something we will always remember. A very special mention to Gustavo, one of the pool lifeguards. He was absolutely amazing with our son and truly went above and beyond every single day. He always made such a fuss of him, was incredibly friendly and kind, and would often bring him sweets and fruit whenever he saw him. He made our son feel so special and it genuinely made our holiday even more memorable. Staff like Gustavo are a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean overall, although the room cleaning could have been a little better at times. The only main thing we felt was missing was a snack bar. When you have children spending all day around the pool, it would have been really helpful to have somewhere to grab quick snacks or light bites without needing to go into the restaurant each time. Another point worth mentioning is that there was only one outside bar serving drinks. Even though we visited during a quieter period, there were still queues at times with only one member of staff serving. During busier holiday periods, I can imagine this becoming quite frustrating for guests. We feel the hotel would really benefit from having an additional outside bar or more staff serving during peak times. Overall though, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.
Lovely rooms ,really clean and practical, staff always friendly and helpful
All around great experience! The suites were large, modern, clean, & comfortable. The balcony was roomy, with space for drying. The jacuzzi on the balcony next door (grandkids) was a huge hit! While it seems a minor thing, the bracelet fob was a fantastic idea; no more searching for cards, or lost cards, etc. This was definitely a family-friendly hotel, with lots of kids. The pools were all a big hit & the kids loved the free ice cream feature! The buffet was good, with lots of choice. The service was exceptional, with Christina in Entertainment being a family favourite. She had us participating in things we'd never usually do & was fantastic with the kids! Also, her colleague Eliza, along with Maia at the front desk were also brilliant. We were there in May, so the value was good. Location was perfect; 5 mins walk to the exceptional beach/promenade.
Fabulous hotel and staff. The entertainment was great every day and there was always activites and events for the kids. Cleanliness was a huge priority and the facilities were constantly being cleaned and maintained.
Nice hotel, short walk to the beach and shops. Food is nice, rooms are good with everything you need. It’s a family hotel and we appreciate that but it’s missing having any adults only area. Every pool including the indoor has kids in. Oh and there is no decaf options anywhere so bring your own if needed.
We visited Zafiro Palmanova early May, and while the weather was a little hit and miss, when it was sunny it was warm and just perfect. We had a fab stay, all inclusive with Jet2, and stayed in the penthouse suite with a hot tub on the top floor. The room was brilliant, more than enough space for our family (2 adults, 4 y/o and 10 month old) and very clean. The bed was super comfy and a queen. The pirate splash pool was great, but not very warm! The only warm one was only just bearable enough in the warm sun, so bring wetsuit style cossies for kids just in case. The food was brilliant, can’t fault any of it. Loads of selection at every meal time, and different themes. Really good at catering for fussy kids! There is a little softplay just outside of the dining room- a blessing and a curse! We couldn’t get our little boy out of there BUT that was helpful to give his tired parents some time to eat in semi-peace! The evening entertainment was great, my little ones were engrossed every evening! The beach was super close, less than a 10 min walk with a buggy! Clean water and beach! The staff were especially brilliant! Really accommodating, and all very kind and patient (especially with a young family like us!) and a special mention to the wonderful Rosealba who we came across in the restaurant, sweeping up the mess our baby made!! She couldn’t speak English but we managed to understand that she was a big lover of children and she took a shine to our baby daughter! She was lovely, and so so sweet to us! We gave her a cheeky tip in the end as she made us feel so welcome! So if you happen to come across her, lucky you!! I’ve said to my husband at least 4/5 times that we need to come back next year and would recommend to everyone! Pros: - brilliant food options (all inclusive) - very family centred, super helpful and kind staff - great drinks options - good rooms and very clean, along with all public areas - good kids playground - super close to the beach! Cons: - chilly pools, but understandably they don’t usually need to heat them in peak season! - chaotic dining room with loads of families! We are one of those families but I do not recommend this hotel to couples / people travelling without kids if you’re not a patient person! It’s wild and I felt for those that clearly disliked the amount of children there
Recently returned from a 9 night stay with my husband. This hotel deserves the 5 star rating and its staff go out of their way to make your holiday special. Excellent location, just a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Hotel staff work tirelessly to keep the place beautifully clean and the bedroom suites are spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The balcony on our room created a relaxing place to chill out with a book or a drink. The main Dining Room served a beautiful selection of food and we really enjoyed the outdoor space for dining. A quiet hotel with very little noise from the surrounding roads at night. It’s a pricey hotel but well worth the expense. We will definitely return at a later date and have no hesitation to recommend to family and friends. Particularly enjoyed relaxing in the adult only area on the comfortable beds and a swim in the oasis pool.
This is the 2nd time we have visited the hotel and it also goes above and beyond, the rooms are spotless the facilities are fab! We go self catering so can’t comment on the food but the location is a few minutes from the beach and some amazing restaurants! We have booked to come back next year for our 3rd visit and are now counting the days down! Amazing for families
We had the most amazing first family holiday with our baby in the Zafiro Palmanova. We had an issue with our baby’s passport so ended up arriving five days later than planned. We were treated to a surprise upgrade which just made our trip so special. The reception staff, lifeguards were all so friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning soon.
Nothing
Stayed at the Zafiro Palmanova for 1 week for my wedding in Mallorca. Stayed here with a lot of my family & friends think we had about 15 rooms so they upgraded my family for free! The hotel is excellent, rooms are lovely, we had a swim up pool, lifeguards are great - saw them dive in the pool twice to help kids which was great to see they were actually working! Drinks good - cocktails were OK, think they were pre-made. Food was ok. My kids loved the variety of food, I preferred to go out for meals as there are so many lovely restaurants nearby. Kids loved the pasta/ice cream, pancakes etc. The staff were lovely, gave us an extra room to get ready in on the morning of our wedding. Great location as well just across the road from steps which lead you to the beach. Overall great holiday - full family was happy, no1 had a complaint which is suprising in a group of 30+ and looking forward to returning!
Full of noisy kids. Running up and down the corridors screaming. The restaurant is like a noisy cafeteria. Again - noisy kids. Everywhere is nicely presented. Sunbeds very close together. Rooms are spacious. Shower is good. Toiletries - poor selection. Just shower gel and shampoo and soap. Bathroom towels were very poor - rotten and many frayed and with holes in. Not what I expect at a good quality hotel. Pool towels good. The breakfasts were excellent. A lot of choice of fresh fruits and cooked foods. Something for everyone. I certainly enjoyed the poached eggs, smoked salmon and fresh fruits. Reception told us breakfast opened at 715 but it didn’t open until 730. This is too late for early morning people. There is no coffee machine in the room. We were playing tennis at 8am - it was too much of a rush. The TV was poor - “snowy” poor reception and very limited English channels. Kitchenette was well-equipped Balcony was overlooking the car park and bins. Very noisy early mornings with bin collections and beer deliveries. No cleaning service in rooms on Wednesday or Sunday Receptionists all lovely and helpful. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we were telephoned as soon as it was. The Spa massage prices are very expensive €100 for an hour. Tip - if you need a taxi back to the airport, book it in advance - we couldn’t get one and had to take an uber which was double the cost. The receptionist also tried for us by phone and online and got no response. Only a 7 minute walk to the beach and a nice resort. Umbrellas were available for guests’ use - situated by the front door to help yourself. Bicycle hire was available at €6 per day. Would I stay here again? I would visit for the tennis holiday but would not stay at this hotel. I need an adults-only hotel which is quieter. I did not get sufficiently good sleep quality due to noisy neighbouring rooms and early deliveries.
Absolutely unbelievable hotel, staff are brill, hotel is spotless, even went to the extent of putting a bottle of champagne im the room for my mums birthday! The penthouse suite is defo one to try! Food was brill as well! Overall quality hotel defo be back
Rooms are clean, the hall can be noisy, but we didnt experience much noise. Great all in service, cocktails with A labels. Good food, everyday different food, not a lot of choice but what they serve is good! Fine location close to the sea and boulevard. Beds were saggy, but we havent complained about it. We were very happy 2 swimming pools were warmed. So kids could swim even when it was cloudy.
Great location with easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel is not too big and the staff are all wonderful, shout out to Emma who greeted us in the dining room with such a lovely smile emery day and to Africa who was so warm and friendly. Ali in the bar always made us laugh. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. We were AI and the food was lovely and enjoyed the option of ordering from the menu at lunch time rather than eating from the buffet. We had an apartment with a hot tub on the roof terrace and this was bliss there was a Balinese bed, table and chairs and a sofa also. We visited the spa area which had a steam room, sauna and spa pool which was a lovely area to treat your self and relax. This is a family hotel and the entertainment was centred round the children but this did not bother us travelling as a couple. I would definitely return again and would like to thank all the staff that dealt with us for making our stay so enjoyable.
The staff are all friendly, funny and welcoming. Check-in was a breeze due to online check-in was around 2 minutes tops. It's currently our 25th wedding anniversary, which the hotel knew. We've been put into a room with a pretty bad view (a palm tree and a hotel) But the hotel is loud, constantly air hockey pinging away, and late night drunken karaoke. This made it difficult to unwind and relax. This was made more difficult due to the weather being bad and us being in the room for extended times. We where offered a room change but was warned the noise would probably be the same. We could upgrade to a hot tub/jacuzzi for an extra €90 a night. Food is very good, as are the drinks. Outside area is amazing and the hotel is fantastic for children, though our children are older, we travelled as a couple and can't see how much they are enjoying themselves. I think I would come back but I would be refusing these kind of rooms.
Just home from a wonderful stay at Zifiro Palmanova. From the moment we arrived we couldn’t believe the friendly and efficient service we experienced 👏 We booked half board and the food/drinks far exceeded our expectations… The three of us have travelled quite a lot and we all agreed it was up there with the best! Thanks again 🙏
We had a brilliant stay at Zafiro Palmanova Hotel and would happily return. The food was excellent throughout our stay, always fresh with a varied menu that changed daily. The cocktails and drinks were also very good quality. The playground and evening entertainment were a hit with our son and kept him happy throughout our stay. It was great to see staff cleaning the playground every morning, small detail that shows good attention to cleanliness and care. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. The Hotel had a functioning air con system despite the Hotel manager from our previous Hotel informing me that no Hotel in Majorca has their air con system turned on with the current temperatures (refer to my previous review of Hiphotels Mediterraneo Club). There were two minor areas that could be improved. The bedroom cleaning times could be a little earlier, as one day it clashed with our toddler’s nap and we had to skip our room being cleaned. Also, I requested an iron on two separate occasions but unfortunately never received one. All in all, a brilliant stay and we’d love to come back.
An excellent hotel for what we needed, the room had all the facilities we needed, a pool view room, self catering, excellent shower room with double sink, housekeeping was excellent with bed made and towels changed 5 out of our 7 days there. Only ate in the hotel once as we food the food choices not to our liking but within a 5 min walk you have a great choice of pavement restaurants and cafes, too many to choose from, the beach was a short 5 min walk away.. Directly opposite the front door of the hotel and across the street there are steps that take you down to the promenade/beach. There are a great selection of pools at the hotel to cater for young and not so young although we found in April the water was quite cold in them all except for one, no shortage of sunbeds and with the pools not opening until 10am there was no mad rush unlike some resorts. Entertainment for the kids was not bad at night and the pirate ship in the pool was busy all day as was the wee playpark beside it, a good family hotel, we enjoyed.
Fantastic hotel with great facilities and spotlessly clean. Spacious rooms, pool areas had ample sunbeds. Restaurant had lots of choice and food was always delicious and fresh. Location of hotel is great as it is a short stroll to beach and nearby restaurants and bars.
3 women looking for pure relaxation in a beautiful hotel. Location was excellent, 5 minutes walk to a stunning white sandy beach and the local shops. Hotel was immaculate, possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in.. and very beautiful too. We booked half board and the food was amazing. Delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Downside was the noise in the dining room with babies crying, and excited/tired children shouting. I have children myself (now adults) so I understand the dynamics of taking kids on holiday, but honestly it was verrry loud and the noise echoed because the dining area is very big. Needless to say the hotel is ideal for young families.... lots to do. Pool areas are expansive so it wasn't difficult to find a quiet area to relax and read. The hotel is massive with 4 different blocks and over 200 rooms so we had problems finding our room on day one which wasn't fun, especially when you're hauling suitcases in and out of lifts and helping your 83 year old mother who isn't great on her feet. It would have been helpful if we had been taken to the room by staff on arrival and perhaps offered some help with our luggage. I highly recommend this hotel for young families, but if you're looking for a quiet more ambient atmosphere its not the one!

Dit hotel geeft de ‘full package’. Alles scoort een ruim voldoende!
Sehr nettes Personal, gute Cocktails an der Bar, saubere schöne Zimmer, viele Pools, Professionelle Massage Anwendung
Spa etwas teuer,
Top, heerlijke ontbijt, verwarmde zwembaden, dichtbij strand
Good hotel. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were spacious and very functionally furnished. Good and diverse cuisine.
Fantastic stay here, we had a 2 bedroom suite on self catering, the hotel is in an excellent position only a few mins walk from shops, restaurants and the beach. The kids pool and one of the other pools was heated so wasn’t freezing cold like the others my son stayed in them for hours playing. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms had the comfiest beds I’ve slept in at a hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and always plenty of them around if you needed any help. The cleaning ladies are fantastic and coming to clean the room later in the day if you didn’t want it done in the morning.WIFI was amazing! A very relaxing holiday and the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long time. Will definitely be back.
Incredible hotel! The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pools were amazing and they even had a bouncy thing in the water to entertain older kids (and adults who are kids at heart) The location was perfect, very close to the beach and there was an Aldi close by. The hotel staff were very nice and we never felt uncomfortable bringing in food from outside of the hotel - even to eat by the pool! We would definitely go back again, the value for money is amazing!
Absolutely great great hotel spacious rooms. Friendly staff reception great. Hotel is clean. Pools are great the big sun loungersnare free to use. Loads of kids pool area. Good location. Supermarket next to the shop is very expensive that's the only negative, spar down the road half the price. Food in the hotel is good . Hotel wristband is unique and allows you to access your room, pay in the bars and the shop. Great hotel
We had a fabulous time at this amazing hotel, and when we arrived we found that we had been upgraded to a swim up room with a huge terrace which was just amazing. There were 6 swimming areas including a heated indoor and out door pool and splash areas just great for kids.It could be quite noisy in the corridors at night but it didn’t bother us too much. We were self catering so can’t comment on the food. The location was great near shops and beaches, and was only 40 euros in a taxi for 4 of us to and from the airport. The reception staff were very helpful and provided pool towels, and a courtesy room for a shower if need before you returned. We would never have been able to afford the upgraded room we were in but if you could afford it would definitely recommend it, or at least pay for a room overlooking the swimming pool .
We booked a penthouse suite with hot tub. Room - block 1 - lovely , sofa bed in the lounge pulls out to bed but we moved this into the bedroom so we could all sleep together. Hot tub isn’t very hot but does the job. We did have an issue with ants but it was resolved. Main pool with bouncing pillow is freeezing and didn’t open to after 10am. Kids pool was nice temp with pirate ship and slides. Pool with Bali beds is lovely and warm and allows inflatables. Nearest beach is lovely . Island is very easy to get around by car or bus , we visited Port Andratx , Andratx town , Camp De Mar and Portal Nous. Kids club was open 10.30- 12.45 then they done games 2-3.30pm. We done half board food was good 👍 but lots of nice local Restaraunts. Hotel has a pool table and its own small shop . Entertainment - depends on what you want we’re not night time people prefer to bed early and get up early . Mornings were quiet but night no chance you could sleep before 11pm soooo noisy from the outdoor theatre singing music etc and we were in block 1 furthest away from it. Would struggle for a quiet night with a young baby.
We arrive early morning and first impression was good, we had already checked in online which made check in so much easier, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Are room wasn’t ready but we got towels and headed towards the pool for drinks and a browse round, we were greeted by 5 different life guards wow! And bar staff. It was long before we received a email to say are room was ready.. the room allocated was quite a distance and has we has one with disability I felt it was to far, but not a problem the reception staff quickly changed us rooms much closer, they were more than happy to help. The room was spacious well equipped and lovely balcony, water was in the fridge for us . The room had skidding doors for privacy and tv which work in English in both rooms. The bathroom was lovely spacious and provide soap, shampoo and shower gel, they were plentiful fresh towels on hand. I have to say the room was spotless, fresh and smelt beautiful. There was one big wardrobe but no draws .. it’s very modern up to date with everything you need . The restaurant you was greeted by a lovely blonde lady and shown to your seats, the food was plentiful with lots of variety and a kids sweetie corner. The staff are the friendless I have ever come across, such a delight and they were plenty of them to assist you, what is great there is a play area for children at the side which can be fully viewed from the seating area. Now in my own opinion the only thing that lets the hotel down was the entertainment team. I thought they were rude, never spoke to us, didn’t really get the children or adults invoked, they were young silly girls who seemed more interested in how they looked and not the hotel guest. They past us quite a few times and never said hello. Morning or anything and when queuing for breakfast they just barge past and went stright in.. unfortunatly they let the hotel down. The pools are great and the heated pool was perfect for the chilly mornings, they were life guards everywhere who were so lovely alway spoke and took there jobs seriously. The pool towels were plentiful no queuing you just went and exchanged them with any hassle. The grounds are beautiful there is a park with everything very clean and safe, the water slides are great as is the children’s pool. You can hire bike, do excursion all from the hotel. The beach is so close, walk out the front of the hotel cross the road by gobbles hotel you find some steps walk down to the bottom where you find the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. The beaches are beautiful with crystal clear blue water. On the grounds is a super market where you can purchase everything but it is cheaper to shop near the beach.. if you want to do some shopping book a taxi and go into Palma it’s beautiful cost 25euros but make a day of it as there is beautiful little coffee bars, lots to see and plenty of shops. If you get fed up of hotel and want to centre out of the evening go to monroes there’s live bands and singing.. they also do beautiful food. The hotel was amazing the management hotel deputy was lovely the 2 boys on reception plus the ladies are fantastic And the hotel itself was amazing! Perfect in everyway. In fact we enjoyed so much we are returning very soon. Apart from the silly entertainment team it was a perfect holiday and perfect hotel. X
This holiday was absolutely incredible! The hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and very clean. Loads of space for all your clothes in a build in fully mirrored wardrobe. And we had the most basic of the rooms. The bathroom was huge! And the towels were very soft. Our view was out over some palm trees and to another hotel. The sun got to our balcony in the evening but we weren’t really home much anyway. They have loads of pools and many of them heated which was great for being there in April. The weather was lovely the whole time we were away so very lucky but still the heated pool made it much more comfortable. The staff were all lovely and helpful. They would all say good morning or hello to you every time you passed. We didn’t do all inclusive so we just bought some cereal and coffee and fruit to have our breakfast in the room which had a great wee set up for it. The coffee machine was a bit dated but it worked just fine! The evening entertainment was wonderful the kids were well looked after. We didn’t try the daytime kids club. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach if that, perfect location for us. And all of the amenities you would expect very close by. Nice shops to look around. Good places to eat. I couldn’t fault it at all. We will all be going back soon. We loved it. Thank you so much Zafiro!
A fantastic hotel in amazing seafront location, & 20 min taxi ride from airport. Aonia in reception gave us a wonderful welcome & Maria in reception was amazing also. Staff everywhere are helpful, happy , & add joy to this beautiful hotel. We upgraded to penthouse suite & it was well worth the extra cost. The space & hot tub adds luxury. The food in buffet was consistently delicious, fresh & varied every day. The terrace a la carte restaurant, is a beautiful space for lunch on a hot day, & delicious menu. Great cocktails & entertainment nightly. The outdoor pools & garden area are beautiful. Zafiro ticks all the boxes & more. We can't wait to return.Thank you for an amazing family break away. 10/10 for us .

Beautiful, clean hotel in a great location. Definitely recommend the penthouse hot tub rooms, we had a fantastic time. Pools are fab, great family hotel. Will definitely be back.
Nemt og bekvemt for familier. Maden var frisk og betjeningen god. Styr på pool-området med mange livreddere.
Forældre der ikke havde styr på deres børn i poolen. Børn skubbede andre børn i vandet.
The pool was great with the bouncy ball for the kids
There were not a lot of snacks available
Skvělý hotel pro rodiny s dětmi! Moc milý personál, pohodlné pokoje, bazény a program pro děti.
We stayed here the last week of October and had a fantastic holiday. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially Fernando and Christina on reception they will go out of there way to try and accommodate you. We enquired about a room upgrade for the last few nights of our stay and they very kindly offered us a free penthouse upgrade. Which really did make our stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend the penthouse our children loved it as the jacuzzi was alot warmer than the cold pools. Staff did an incredible job of keeping the rooms and around the hotel clean they work incredibly hard. Pools were freezing cold but we did use the pool that was heated which made it more bearable and the indoor pool was lovely too. Brilliant entertainment for children and adults in the evening. Also do a Kahoot quiz. Can't comment on the food as we were self catering but lots of restaurants outside the hotel and towards the beach also not far from magaluf. It was a perfect location. The beach is beautifully clear with little fish swimming around you. We wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Had a great stay here Suited our family's needs . Rooms spacious and clean large comfortable bed. Adequate kitchenette Kids club and pool we're great. Evening kahoots quiz was a hit with our children. All staff we encountered were friendly and great with the children. These are the small things that make a difference to your Holiday. Indoor bar gad a great selection of drinks mocktails, frappe and milkshakes as well as coffees and cocktails 🍸 👌🏾 Self catering worked well for us as you are surrounded by so many eateries your are spoiled for choice . Aldi is also only 7 mins walk away so easy to stock up on breakfast and lunch items. Overall a lovely holiday to Palmanova we would return
Average hotel. Hotel rooms are spacious and we had a separate living area and bedroom which is great if you have small goods. The hotel is in a good location as you can easily walk to restaurants and the beach. The rooms are in need of a refresh as many things are falling apart. Our towel rail outside fell off the wall, our bath towels had holes in them and our kitchen sink leaked. The hotel night entertainment is very loud. We struggled to get our toddler to bed before 10:30 as you could hear the entertainment in our room. We actually moved rooms because of this but it made no difference. The hotel has a soft play and playground for the kids. The former needs to be cleaned regularly as the floor was quite dirty. The playground needs some fixing as there were some potentially dangerous bits. Our toddler loved the mini disco and the hotel mascot yzzy. What we didn’t love is that a smelly drain runs the length of the stage and dance floor. This means young kids are directly next to, touching and smelling a drain. Very unhygienic and disgusting. Please move your stage dance floor.
