לקחנו הכל כלול והם שדרגו אותנו לחדר עם ג׳קוזי, המלון מהמם עם נוף מושלם, האוכל במסעדות טעים והחדרים נקיים ממש. הם שדרגו אותנו למתחם הcool living המתחם למעלה כולל בריכת אינפיניטי ומסעדה ממש שווה. הנוף הכי יפה במלון. גם השכרנו רכב ליום אחד דרך המלון והיה ממש נח.

צריך להזמין את כל המסעדות מראש, ממליצה לכתוב להם לפני שמגיעים למלון כי אחרת אומרים שאין מקום ועושים פרצופים על זה. החדרים למעלה הכי יפים אבל מעצבן כל פעם לחכות להסעה כשרוצים לרדת למטה זה יכול לקחת הרבה זמן. לי המים בבריכה היו קרים מידי גם באוגוסט וגם יש שם המון רוחות נפלנו על יום אחד שממש אי אפשר היה לשבת באזור למעלה.

Everything perfect!

The views are amazing! The food was fabulous, with lots of choices. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They have some night entertainment which I enjoyed, I wish the Disco would finish a little bit later, it was such fun!

As most buildings in Elounda, the hotel is located on a hill so people with mobility issues need to be aware of this.

La localisation est extraordinaire! La vue est superbe! Il est à 30minutes du village de Scisma Elounda, et la promenade est magique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et les dernières deux nuits on était surclassés. Je vais surtout souligner la gentillesse et professionnalisme des concierges à la réception. Chrystal, Maria et les autres filles ont écouté tout nos besoins et elles ont donné des solutions rapides et très efficace. On aimerait retourner à ce hôtel de haute qualité pour loger aux chambres en haut ou la vue depuis la piscine est encore plus belle! On a profité du spa, le massage était excellent, la salle de fitness a eu tous qu’on a eu besoin et la nourriture était très bonne. Les soirées animées de musique avec la danse sont originales(je suis grec, donc je sais quand c’est trop touristique, donc la on a trouvé la vraie musique avec la vraie danse à voir et participer également).

Ce seul point qui nécessite une amélioration est le house keeping. Les concierges ont fait les nécessaires pour améliorer notre séjour

שעות פתיחה של הבר/בופה. איכות המסעדות והטעם/מבחר של האוכל. החדרים מאד רחוקים ובעלייה והכל רחוק אחד מהשני ומחכים יחסית הרבה זמן להסעות. לא סיפרו לנו בהתחלה על הגישה לבריכה העליונה. לכלוך בבריכה המרכזית. המון צרעות בבופה בבריכה העליונה.

Die Aussicht war atemberaubend, Einrichtung und Ästhetik des Hotels sind top. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, nett und motiviert. Das all inclusive Angebot sehr gut! Zusätzlich möchten wir noch zwei besondere Mitarbeiter hervorheben: Michael in der Blue Bar und Maria mit dem Zöpfen beim Frühstück, beide sehr sympathisch, aufmerksam und sehr nett!

Der Strand war okay, aber kein Highlight, was bei der Lage aber auch nicht zu ändern ist. Man hat das Beste daraus gemacht. Mehr Abendprogramm mit DJ wäre schön gewesen und über den Tag, wenn die Restaurants Betrieb haben, gab es wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Pappbecher haben uns gestört, das ist Kritik auf hohem Niveau, aber ein Cocktail oder Kaffee am Pool in einem 5 sterne Haus könnte man schöner servieren, dass Glas am Pool gefährlich ist, ist völlig klar, aber es gibt schönere und ästhetischere Alternativen als Pappbecher. Was wirklich etwas enttäuschend war, waren die Cocktails selbst. Für Fertigmischung waren sie nicht schlecht, aber frisch gemixte wären top gewesen.

Wir hatten einen unglaublich tollen Urlaub, es hat wirklich alles gepasst. Die Anlage ist traumhaft schön, wir mochten, dass es eher „verwinkelt“ und auf mehreren Etagen ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind wahnsinnig freundlich, aufmerksam und immer zur Stelle. Der Strand war toll mit klaren Wasser und der perfekten Temperatur. Es gibt eine kleine Beachbar und überall Kühlschränke, bei denen man sich unkompliziert bedienen kann (inklusive Snacks). Das Essen im Buffet-Restaurant war immer frisch und lecker. Einen Abend haben wir im Yellow Sea Restaurant gegessen und fanden insbesondere das Sushi extrem lecker. In unserem Aufenthalt hatten wir das besondere Glück, für die letzten 3 Nächte ein kostenloses Upgrade für die Cool Living Area zu bekommen. Das Zimmer war toll - groß und geräumig, wobei wir auch unser erstes Zimmer super fanden. Das Essen im Grevo Levante ist super lecker und er Infinity Pool natürlich ein absolutes Highlight. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt wirklich perfekt und können es jedem von Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist aus unserer Sicht, dass die Restaurants im Grunde direkt nach der Ankunft reserviert werden müssen, da sie sonst schnell ausgebucht sind. Ansonsten ist uns absolut nichts negatives aufgefallen.

The property was excellent. The food at he buffet and at the Greek/Italian restaurant was great. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.

The quality of food in the sushi restaurant was not good and the food at the Meze restaurant as lacking too.

W We stayed at Domes Aulus Elounda Resort hotel during a family vacation in Crete and enjoyed every moment. This adults-only hotel offers a peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and friendly welcome from the entire team, who made us feel completely at home. Special thanks to Chrisa, who looked after us throughout our stay with exceptional kindness and dedication. She was attentive to every request and always ensured that we received a prompt and professional response. A big thanks also to Dana, who welcomed us with a warm smile and patiently introduced us to the hotel, the beautiful surroundings, and all the wonderful experiences awaiting us. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The view from the rooms overlooking Mirabello Bay is simply stunning. The private beach reserved for hotel guests is wonderful, with excellent cocktails served throughout the day. The infinity pool in the upper part of the resort is also highly recommended, offering breathtaking views of the bay. The food at the hotel is excellent, and we recommend booking the hotel restaurants in advance. It is also well worth visiting Agios Nikolaos, located about 20 minutes from the hotel. Enjoy a cocktail at ARC Espresso Cocktail Bar, with its beautiful panoramic view, and finish the evening with dinner at one of the many restaurants surrounding the lake. The personal attention, outstanding service, spectacular views, and wonderful atmosphere made our family vacation truly unforgettable. We would be delighted to return in the future and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

We loved our spacious suite and balcony with sea views. The food was really great too. Beach was nice.

Beautiful view, facilities and great value for money. Everything was clean and comfortable in the room. The staff are amazing and super friendly and helpful.

The pool area is a bit too quiet, some music can make a great difference. Also there should be an outside bar so you can use it while in the pool or sunbeds. Also, the restaurants are almost always fully booked in advance so you don’t get to try them and they’re very good

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooie restaurants, zeker boven. Zeer ruim aanbod in de bars. Onze kamer met privé zwembad had een prachtig uitzicht op de zee.

Het hotel ligt op een berg, dus onze kamer was enkel bereikbaar met een shuttle. Maar dat bleek geen probleem, de shuttle reed stipt en tussendoor reden er nog auto’s en golfkarretjes op en af om ons op te pikken. Dus nooit langer dan 5 min.moeten wachten. Privé zwembad bleek niet voldoende gevuld waardoor pomp veel lawaai maakte maar dit werd de tweede dag opgelost.

We were very impressed with the hotel. The cool living area in particular was great. You get great views and the surroundings are very pretty with lots of wild flowers. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and patient, going above and beyond to help us get our preferred dinner reservations. Its a quiet and peaceful resort, its not close to a town but we much preferred this. There are grab and go fridges where you can help yourself to cold drinks which was really handy. . The Meze lunch was amazing, Greco Levande dinners were very high standard, and both buffets always had a great selection. We hired a car from Heraklion airport and it took us about an hour 15 to get to the hotel, we would recommend this because we heard bus transfers can take up to 3 hours. Parking is a bit limited at the hotel but the staff took care of parking for us which was great. We didn't mind the steep walks up and down, occasionally catching the shuttles/buggies if they passed us.

It appeared that the cool living area is not monitored, so people who have not paid are able to access the pool and buffet. This was slightly annoying on the days where there were no free sunbeds. Some of the cocktails were pre-made so don't taste quite as nice. We found the Asian restaurant was a bit disappointing (as it was positioned as 'high concept'). There were lots of bugs in our private pool but they did clean it on request. You cant turn off the pool lights - and they are bright - meaning at night lots of light comes into the room because the curtains do not fully shut.

From the receptionists and the Concierges, to the drivers, room service and the restaurant staff -> thank you! - The room with a private pool is an absolute must. Private pool with a view, what's more to ask? - Food quality and options in every restaurant, from Buffet to A-La-Carte. Our 2 favourites were the Buffet dinner as well as the Greco Levante restaurant. - The hotel's beach with crystal clear water and delicious snacks - How relaxed we were during this holiday

The pool area was well maintained, with enough comfortable sun beds for everyone. The beach was a delight, with a bar and a restroom conveniently located nearby. The staff were generally super welcoming, professional, and friendly. The Friday DJ set was amazing.

Overall, this is not a 5-star experience. The shower was extremely narrow, had no door, and left the entire bathroom soaked after each use. The room layout was poor; The door opened right next to the bed, and the closet was hard to access, squeezed between the bathroom door and the coffee/fridge stand. No smart TV. The resort is full of stairs and steep climbs, so getting around is tiring. To reach the bar or restroom from the pool, you have to walk through a restaurant/reception area, which feels awkward when you’re in a bathing suit. The beach had too few sun beds, and they were packed too close together because the area is small. Food quality was inconsistent; Some days great, some days like sloppy leftovers. The meat was often dry, and finding fruit worms in the orange juice was unacceptable. One of the reception staff was rude and dismissive.

The location in Elounda is fabulous

We paid a lot of money to upgrade to Cool Living which was a total waste of money. We were based in Rm 605, mid mountain and reliant on transport up and down the mountain. This wasted a lot of time. The room smelt, the interior needed refurb, the Cool Living sunbeds were reserved with towels by the people in 800’s rooms by 7am so we didn’t get any pool time. The restaurants were all booked up and we struggled to eat in any of the a la Carte restaurants. Everyone we met and spoke to were unhappy about the hotel. More 3/4* than 5* and the Cool Living experience and price was completely overpriced and under whelming. Overall a very disappointing holiday which spoilt our 30th wedding anniversary celebrations.

מאד נהנינו מהשהיה שלנו. הצוות היה מאיר פנים מהרגע הראשון ותמיד שמחו לעזור ואף מעבר לכך. החדר היה מרווח נוח ונקי אך בשל התקופה בה היינו ( סוף ספטמבר ) המים בבריכה שהייתה לנו בחדר היו קרים מאד. האוכל היה בסדר גמור הן בבוקר והן בערב, אם כי חזר על עצמו מדי יום, אבל כל אחד יכול למצוא את מה שהוא אוהב. נהנינו בעיקר מהשקט והשלווה של המקום שאיפשר לנו מנוחה מלאה. רצינו להודות שוב לכל הצוות הנפלא של המלון שאיפשרו לנו חופשה נהדרת.

Die Lage des Resort ist sehr schön mit einem schönen Blick auf die Insel gegenüber.

Das Zimmer Suite mit eigenem Pool entsprach in keiner Weise den Fotos. Der Pool war eiskalt, da nie Sonne hinkam. Aufgrund der sehr steilen Zufahrt, und in Ermangelung von Treppen, war es nicht möglich ohne Shuttle sich im Resort zu bewegen.

The views, the food (in comparison to other all inclusive options, the food at the buffet, pool bar and Asian restaurant were great), the beach, variety of alcoholic drinks and the speed of the service. Specially, Panos the bar man was super nice and hospitable, and made great drinks!

The towel situation (two per room), size of pool and amount of seating which wasn’t enough (this isn’t in regard to the cool living exclusive pool which we could not access and was much nicer) - and generally, seating - during the day the rooftop bar is not open, so can’t sit there. Size of the room we had was kind of small, our shower needed maintenance because the doors wouldn’t seal shut so water would pour out. Staff-wise, some staff members weren’t very hospitable, some of the bartenders and front desk.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön! Auch Essen und Trinken war top. Die Anlage war zum Teil sehr steil, worauf man sich eventuell einstellen sollte und es war jetzt nicht super viel in näherer Umgebung. Trotzdem sehr zufrieden gewesen!

Obsazená lehátka u bazénu - personál neřešil, i když tam hodiny nikdo neležel. Na pokoji nefunkční trezor, klimatizace fungovala jen částečně, pokoj nešel vychladit, lehátka u moře značně špinavá

The staff was amazing! Best service!

The condition of the rooms. All of them are very tired looking. Also, the location of the rooms can cause a bit of wait for the transfer. Also, if you’ll walk, its quite steep, and a bit dangerous if not wearing the right shoes. And finally, the beach is far from pretty. The water is quite muddy, and in stead of sand on the beach its regular soil.

An sich ein gutes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Hügel sollte aber nicht unterschätzt werden und somit ist das Hotel für Leute mit Geh Problemen nicht geeignet. Essen ist gut nur leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreich.

Virkelig skønt hotel. Udsigten er magisk. Omgivelserne er stille, ingen larm fra gågader eller lignende. Vi var så heldige at blive opgraderet til et værelse med egen pool - så fornemt! Personalet er så søde, servicen helt i top. Vi nåede ikke at spise på a la carte restauranterne, men stranden og strandbaren var i top. Virkelig dejlige drinks! Og så er der shuttle bus der henter og bringer gæsterne fra deres værelser, da hotellet område er meget stejlt. Vi kommer klart igen!

Top Hotel gern wieder

We had a wonderful stay at Domes Aulus. We arrived late and were greeted and told to get some dinner while they did the check in process. Our room was so nice with a private pool (we booked) and had an amazing view. Most rooms in VIP are located on a very steep hill and you need a shuttle to get up and down. We never waited long for a shuttle. Food was very good and there is lots of selection. Very close to nearby towns and restaurants (car or taxi) we always felt very safe and enjoyed visit g the near by towns. We can’t wait to come back!

Having no toilet facilities near the pool, having to get dressed go through the bar, down stairs to the only toilet available, also staff were using the toilets to change into their uniforms etc and vice versa

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The buffet offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. If you book a room from the Cool Living Selection, you even get the chance to visit the nearest town in the evening with a complimentary cocktail in a local bar – such a nice touch! Upon arrival, everything was clearly explained, and the staff took their time to make sure I felt welcome. Everyone was friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. The beach was great too – it’s a stone beach, but the atmosphere and view more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Dirty pool with broken umbrellas, pretty old rooms with unpleasant smell and old equipment, spa is just one jacuzzi with a couple of sunbeds. Hotel offers 3 restaurants but you can’t book any of them if you stay just for couple of nights. We asked for extra blanket 2 times by the phone and no one bothered to bring it. Also check in was late for 40 mins, there was no coffee and even water in the room

When we arrived I was not so sure about the resort. The first room we were given was terrible and overlooked a fence and garden. This was then changed to a perfect room with an amazing view. Once we went up to the top bar/restaurant and pools... wow!!! the views were breathtaking! It was so nice up there that even though we had a pool room we went up there everyday. The sunrise is amazing. Nice buffet breakfast and lunch (not the biggest selection of food but more than adequate). Overall the staff were fantastic and really friendly and helpful. Please be aware though that it is a big ask to walk up to the top. The resort runs a shuttle service and cars which you really need to use if you are coming from the bottom right up to the top. It really is a steep walk and hard going if you have a bad knee like me. Everything was included for us as we had 'Cool Living' in our booking and this is a must as it allows the upstairs and booking the onsite restaurants rather than the buffet restaurant only.

The first room we got was awful and nothing like what we wanted. The buffet breakfast in the morning says 7.30am but was not really ready until 8am (no milk for tea, no juice out) but that is really nit picking as it was fine (we are just really early risers so ready to eat by 7.30am). The resort is set on a steep hillside so do not book if you have mobility issues or you will be waiting all the time for a car or the shuttle bus (both free of course).

We stayed here for a week. We were a family of 4. My main criticsm was that the hotel was on steep slope. We were first in rooms 511/512. We always had to call reception for a golf buggy/ car to take us to the main hotel and back. was ok at first but got tiring so we requested a change of rooms and got 211/212. I did try walking back to our room on 5th floor one day and my legs were on fire!! Most people wore trainers and only the brave wore heels! Our shower was a bit disappointing because it was not enclosed. It had a 3 foot fixed screen so water everywhere and the shower head you had to hold because the bracket was hip height. So you couldn't have a long shower. The rooms were a high standard though. We enjoyed the food even though others have said negative. The restaurants you had to prebook so do this asap when you check in because the food is excellent. The toaster is very very slow. The T bags were very weak so take Yorkshire Tea bags if your from UK. Get to the island restaurant when it opens for lunch/dinner early because some of the food does dry out under the heat lamps. The greek deserts were delicious! The beach was a let down because it wasn't a sandy beach. When you walk into the water, there were smalls rocks and pebbles so wear beach shoes or teva style sandals. They had good cocktails in the beach bar but only cold cheese rolls and other snacks from the fridge. Would have loved a toasted sandwich or chips or something hot. Overall 8/10.

Stunningly beautiful property. However, I was not impressed by the inability to get a reservation at the restaurants, which made us eat at the buffet all except for one night. Was also upset by the cleanliness of the main pool. It turned my white swimsuit green and ruined it. Not worth the price in my opinion

We booked the Sapphire Zen Queen Suite with Shared Pool which is part of the Cool Living program that grants you access to the A-La-Carte restaurants and the infinity pool at the top of the cliff (Greco Levante). You should defentiley book the suites to be part of the program. The hotel is very peacful and quite, not crowded (especially in the cool living program area). The staff is super nice and friendly, the facilities are great with Grab N' Go drinks around the compund and all included alchoholic bevarges all day long. The hotel also offers a very cute private beach with a bar and other facilities just ~100 meters from the reception.

The hotel is built on a mountain cliff which is super stip, therefore, in order to move around (especially for the suites) you need to use the shuttles/buggies which can sometimes make you wait. The food is good, nothing out of the ordinary. I would prefer if the hotel had more traditional greek cuisine.

Food was awful. For a 5 star hotel we were really disappointed. The booking system for the restaurants was a challenge. As soon as we arrived, you could not book before, we were given options for two of 3 restaurants but my husband was so Limited due to a gluten allergy he ended up with chips lettuce cucumber and other bits of salad each meal. Every dish with a sauce was said to be containing gluten and even if we asked if the staff could check with the chef they just said it was best not to try it. Most food was cold and dry. Simply not of the standard you would expect. Fried eggs were all covered in oil and cold. If something ran out it was not always replaced. Desert choice often limited to a cake a pudding and some poor quality sorbet or icecream.

Strongest point: staff. Location is amazing, hotel facilities too. I do suggest booking asap restaurants, they do make a difference. All-inclusive menu/drinks are ok, sticking to classic cocktails and even the wine options are decent. In overall I did like the hotel.

The hotel location is amazing, but I strongly recommend using the main road to get there. GPS might suggest alternative routes (as it did with us) and we ended up on a rocky, difficult road. Thankfully, we had rented an SUV and managed to make it, but it could be a real issue, especially since getting back to the main road the same way is tricky. The layout of the hotel stretches from the very top of a hill down to the beach. Guests staying in the VIP area are at the top, where there’s a beautiful bar and upscale facilities..but every single time you want to go to the beach, you need to call for a hotel car. While there are many available and they usually arrive in minutes, it still creates an annoying dependency. The restaurant booking system is unnecessarily stressful. Even after arriving, we found many restaurants already fully booked, which made the experience frustrating. The beach itself is average not quite the paradise we were expecting. I clarified above that staff is a strong point because they helped us, but no point of having this methodology if then it does not work.
