The restaurants at the hotel are of a very high standard, and the padel court was excellent.

there were power outages every day. It seemed to be part of their daily routine, as when we mentioned it to the staff, they didn’t seem particularly surprised. The “heated pool” is not actually heated - it was cold, just like all the other pools. The gym is currently under renovation, so the facilities are very basic at the moment.

Alle waren so freundlich und jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Es gibt genug Aktivitäten, Sport etc., dass einem nicht langweilig wird. Die Restaurants sind allesamt super. Besonders hat mit der Pool in der „Quiet Zone“ gefallen. Ein echtes Paradies

Chambre confortable avec une literie de qualité. Les services proposés, notamment les petites attentions pour les enfants. (coloriages au restaurant, assiettes et couverts adaptés). Le personnel était chaleureux et attentionné. L’eau est compris dans la formule demie pension, ce qui n’est pas le cas dans d’autres resorts.

Chambre un peu étroite. Un ménage plus approfondi ne serait pas de refus, mais reste correct.

The beach is breathtakingly gorgeous. So was the customer service. Malaury the massage therapist was AMAZING! She was friendly, professional and talented. The food was some of the best I have ever had in my entire life. The general manager of La Citronelle (restaurant) was so friendly and kind. As a soli traveller, the staff did their best to make me feel so welcome. The food in all the restaurants were special. Especially Blu Sushi. I couldn't get enough of it. The prestige beachfront room is perfectly located and I cannot wait to come back here again soon!

The FLIES in the room in winter?! Damn. But thats about it. Nothing bug spray can't get rid of.

Tout était parfait

The whole environment is very pleasant, secure, beautiful. Food is of high quality and well presented in all the catering options available. When presenting a problem to the appropriate department, action was quickly and efficiently taken to remedy the problem.

Cleanliness was not up to standard in the bedroom. When you looked deeply, the shower had mold on the ceiling, the WC were not properly cleaned. At one stage, we arrived at the SPA and were told the sauna and Hammam were not working without providing information on when it would work again. No alternative given.

The facilities are the best, great beach, nice restaurants and tranquility all over the place. Stagf very professional and helpful

We had such a lovely stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage. The resort is beautiful, the beach is amazing, and everything just felt easy and well looked after from start to finish. What really made the stay for us was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, including the many people whose names we unfortunately didn’t get. There was always someone around with a smile, ready to help, and it genuinely made a difference. A special mention to Chef Sanone — the steaks were honestly amazing and definitely one of the highlights of our stay! 🥩 Also a big thank you to Manager Sam for being so welcoming and attentive, and to Vinaye and Damree for taking such good care of us during our stay. We really appreciated all the little things. Thank you to the whole team at Constance Belle Mare Plage for making our time in Mauritius so enjoyable. We had a great time and would happily come back.

It’s a bit far from everything else like the airport and major attractions

Very nice property in Belle Mare, spacious rooms and friendly staff. They upgraded our rooms on the occasion of our first anniversary and recieved a complimentary champagne. Very nice touch thank you! 🙌 Good private beach with blue lagoon waters.

Food is good, but breakfast could have more variety than just the 90% same food everyday. Could have more indian or veg dishes. The main bar cafe doesn't serve food beyond 5pm. You'll need to book a restaurant for even small snacks after 5pm.

La propreté de la chambre est à revoir. Nous avons également trouvé le service peu réactif. Le complexe et notamment plusieurs espaces de l’hôtel nous ont semblé vieillissants et ne correspondant pas totalement au standing attendu d’un 5 étoiles.

I have traveled a lot but what I can say is that the level of service in this hotel is just perfect.

Die traumhafte Anlage, der erstklassige Service und die vielen Möglichkeiten für Sport und Erholung machen jeden Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Wir fühlen uns hier rundum wohl und kommen garantiert wieder!

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt im Constance Belle Mare Plage! Wir haben die Zeit mehr als genossen – es war einfach der Wahnsinn. Besonders toll war das riesige Sportangebot: Padel, Tennis, Golf und sogar Wasserski – für jeden etwas dabei. Dazu die wunderschöne Anlage und die tolle Atmosphäre. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Nichts

Es war ein entspannter, erholsamer und schöner Aufenthalt im Constance Belle Mare Plage. Das Personal war stets höflich, zuvorkommend und um den Gast bemüht. Hervorzuheben sind Lena (Guest Relation), Nayil (Golf) und das Personal in den Restaurants (besonders Deer Hunter und La Spiagga). Die Anlage ist weitläufig und gut in die Natur eingebettet. Es gab keine Engpässe bei Liegen, in den Restaurants, an der Bar.

Einzelne Zimmer könnten renoviert werden. Die vor/zu Corona durchgeführten Renovierungen waren eher in den zentralen Bereichen und bei den Villen, nicht allen Zimmern.

Everything was lovely and staff attentive

Nothing worth remembering especially after the theft of my skirt.

Very disappointing and concerning experience. A personal item I know I left in my room disappeared after checkout, with Housekeeping claiming it could not be located. This raises serious concerns about the security of guests’ belongings. I strongly caution future guests to be vigilant with their possessions. I have completely lost trust in this hotel and will never return.

L’hôtel dispose de plusieurs restaurants, d’une salle de sport avec des coachs très sympathiques et de nombreuses infrastructures. Le cadre est agréable et il y a beaucoup de choses à faire sur place, notamment les activités nautiques qui sont incluses, ce qui est vraiment appréciable.

l’expérience n’a pas été totalement à la hauteur de nos attentes pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que la chambre n’était pas très propre, et le ménage durant le séjour n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de ce que l’on peut attendre d’un établissement 5 étoiles. Nous avons également eu une invasion de fourmis dans la chambre. Je peux comprendre que dans un pays chaud ce type de problème puisse arriver, mais cela reste tout de même gênant et aurait mérité une meilleure prise en charge. L’insonorisation est également un véritable point faible. Nous étions dans une zone avec beaucoup de passage et nous entendions régulièrement du bruit, ce qui a parfois été assez dérangeant. Concernant les demandes effectuées auprès de l’hôtel, il arrivait qu’elles soient oubliées ou seulement partiellement prises en compte. Il fallait parfois rappeler ou redemander, ce qui est assez décevant pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Les chambres mériteraient également d’être rafraîchies et davantage entretenues afin d’être en adéquation avec le standing d’un hôtel 5 étoiles. En résumé, l’hôtel possède de belles infrastructures et un cadre agréable, mais il y a encore plusieurs points importants à retravailler, notamment la propreté, l’entretien des chambres, l’insonorisation et le suivi des demandes. Nous nous attendions à une expérience plus qualitative compte tenu du standing affiché.

This was an incredible trip and the best place that we have stayed at in Mauritius. The private villa was amazing and spacious with a beautiful private pool. The food was delicious. We especially loved my dad's birthday dinner at La Spiaggo. Our butler (Mustapha) went to a lot of trouble to make our stay extra special. Every day we came home from the beach to find a yummy treat to eat in our fridge. We also got a gorgeous birthday cake for my dad's birthday!l

The staff are attentive and kind. There is a Constance standard and they do their best to uphold it. They were very accommodating and tried to come up with solutions to any inconvenience we encountered. It’s family oriented. The food is very good.

The location is far from every location of interest (minimum 1hr drive), and the local beach is not great - not compared to the west side. There is NOTHING to do between 17:00 and 19:00. No food is served and the Kids’ Club is closed. Dinner starts only at 19:00 which is a little late for young children. The hotel is a little rundown and in need or renovation. A little basic and not so beautiful. The room standard is not as high as we’ve come to expect from Constance. The premier rooms are unacceptable in our opinion - the junior suites are more like entry-level resort rooms we’ve come to expect.

Nous avons tout aimé et avons passé une incroyable lune de miel au Constance Belle Mare. L’hôtel est magnifique et le personnel était particulièrement attentionné. Un grand merci notamment à Navish (manager), Cameron (sommelier du Blue Penny), Smithy (Deer Hunter), Robisen (manager Deer Hunter) et Julien (La Spiaggia) qui ont rendu notre séjour mémorable.

La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée est la qualité des desserts à la Citronnelle, nous sommes français et un peu difficiles à ce sujet

Un lugar ideal para desconectar con la familia, particularmente si tienes niños pequeños. Está especialmente preparado para acoger familias. Tiene un campamento de verano para niños.

Les repas étaient excellents dans tous les restaurants, le personnel très aimable et disponible. On a particulièrement apprécié un des serveurs qui s'appelle Damree dont le service et le dévouement à bien faire les choses étaient exceptionnels. L'espace était globalement très propre et bien maintenu.

Un peu plus d'accompagnement et un briefing sur les activités disponibles aurait été apprécié. On a par exemple appris seulement quelques jours après notre arrivée que l'hôtel avait une application ou tout était résumé et expliqué.

יחס חם חייכני ואישי מכל איש צוות במלון כולם בלי יוצא מן הכלל חיפשנו פעילות (שיט) ובחורה בשם אסתר והעוזרת שלה( שכחתי את שמה) סידרו לנו יום בסירת מירוץ פרטית בין האיים עם סקיפר שהדריך גם והכל בנועם ובמקצועיות ( אחד הימים היותר טובים שלנו שם) ובכלל לכל שאלה היה מענה והכל בסבר פנים ממש וואו כמה פעמים מנקים מסדרים את החדר שואלים אם חסר משהו אפילו האחראית שולחנות בארוחת הבוקר זכרה איזה קפה כל אחד שותה וגם מתי הוא שותה אותו אין פשוט אין מילים חזרנו מרוצים עד השמיים

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at **Constance Belle Mare Plage**, and it is very easy to understand why this resort has such an excellent reputation. The setting is simply spectacular: beautiful tropical gardens, an exceptional stretch of white sandy beach and the turquoise lagoon of the east coast. Staying in one of the villas made the experience particularly special. The villa area offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity while still giving you access to everything the resort has to offer, including its excellent restaurants, pools, beach and activities. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the **people**. The level of service throughout the resort was outstanding—warm, attentive and genuinely personal without ever feeling intrusive. A very special thank you goes to **Atma, our Majeur d’Homme**, who deserves particular recognition. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive, professional and thoughtful. He took care of every detail with remarkable efficiency and, more importantly, with genuine warmth. He always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask. His kindness and dedication made a real difference to our stay and turned an already beautiful holiday into a truly memorable one. We would also like to give special thanks to **Vezora, the hostess**, whose warm welcome and attentive presence always made us feel very well looked after, and to **Vada, our waitress**, for her kindness, professionalism and consistently wonderful service. And a big thank you to **Kailash**, who drove us around the resort by caddy. He was always friendly, helpful and ready with a smile, making getting around the extensive resort effortless and enjoyable. While the beautiful location, villas, beach, restaurants and facilities are all impressive, it is ultimately the people who make Constance Belle Mare Plage stand out. The genuine Mauritian hospitality and the care shown by the staff are what we will remember most.

Every thing is perfect

Tout, c’est le plus bel établissement que j’ai fait, personnel au top, environnement magnifique, un service irréprochable, ils sont aux petits soins pour chaque moment de notre séjour.

J’ai fait deux remarques non négligeable : 1- les activités nautiques trop près de la plage ( moins de 100 mètres) ce qui trouble l’eau et fait fuir les poissons. Je leur ai conseillé d’aller plus loin car le lagon le permet, il est immense. 2- malgré des plages de carte postale, l’accès à la mer et compliqué, beaucoup de cailloux qui empêche de se baigner directement, il faut trouver deux ou trois endroits qui permettent d’accéder à l’eau!!! J’ai conseillé de placer des petites plateformes pour permettre de passer ses cailloux indésirables ( font très mal aux pieds), sinon se procurer des chaussures en caoutchouc.

The ocean and the beach was awesome! The exertions were good too, especially catamaran. The stuff was very helpful and friendly.

Lots of amenities, lots of available sun beds by the pools or on the beach, friendly staff.

Our rooms were in desperate need of refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. The rooms around us were being refurbished during our last day of stay, which meant hammering and drilling 9am to 3pm. On arrival one of our 3 rooms was lacking in soft furnishings/furniture compared to the other rooms (sofa cushions, bed cushion, bed runner, coffee table) which we had to request from housekeeping.
