One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius

The surroundings and the beach were stunning. Make sure to book your room facing the ocean (rather than the lagoon). Staff was generally wonderful and very service minded.

The resort was was too large and commercial and not particularly personal for our taste. We had booked half board but essentially this just means that a fixed amount is deducted from your bill at dinner, effectively leaving you with a minimum spend each day - I would not recommend this. In addition, not all staff was trained to explain the half board concept and this left us with a very unpleasant discussion at check out where we were required to pay for a meal which the staff had told us was included in the half board booking.

The hotel was absolutely lovely, beautiful views and location. beautiful amenities and entertainment facilities.

Our room often looked like it wasn't mopped. There were stains on the bathroom floor on multiple occasions. It didn't smell fresh on some days so i don't know if the room was cleaned thoroughly.

Because of the location

No covered walkways to the facilities. Kids play area not covered yet extreme weather conditions are experienced daily. The beach beds are also not covered because heavy rain falls are experienced suddenly

Comfortable facility . We had high end room on beach which was very nice . Breakfast and meals , especially Prime restaurant were excellent

Property felt somewhat dated and more in line with an inclusive Caribbean style property than a high end luxury resort

BEST RESORT IN MAURITIUS HANDS DOWN, from facilities to staff to food to room. Its luxury. The staff were very extremely friendly with my 1 year old lots of gifts and very understanding with cleaning our room multiple times without even having to ask. Very considerate. Helped us throughout the stay a lot. Definitely coming back. Worth the price.

Not that I didn’t like but, more restaurant options would be good.

We only got to stay one night but enjoyed every second of it. The staff is outstanding, the food is delicious and the services on the property were great! The hotel itself is beautiful but the service of the staff is unparalleled. We will definitely return for a longer period of time.

The One & Only Le Saint Geran was excellent. The location and design of the hotel is superb but what makes the place are the people working their and the service they provide.

Excellent staff, small complimentary services like late check out, Spa and Gym great. Italian Restaurant amazing. The shopping very good. Especially Antoines shop is great. Lot of choices. Great prices.

The Japanese restaurant ist really bad. The only downside of the hotel. The food is bad anf the wine list a joke.

We really enjoyed the food. The buffet was amazing: all the products were fresh, and there was a huge variety of dishes. We truly enjoyed every meal and looked forward to breakfast and dinner every day. Overall, the staff were also very polite and friendly. We would especially like to mention Basil. And Eric, who worked at the beach restaurant and made our stay even more memorable. We also appreciated the thoughtful gifts and surprises that the hotel left for us every evening. It was a lovely touch that made our stay even more special and is something we will truly remember. The Guerlain Spa pool is amazing, clean and calm place. The territory of the hotel is very green. Padel court we also enjoyed. We would also like to mention the wonderful staff at the Boat Station. Everyone was incredibly friendly, positive, and genuinely interested in teaching guests how to water-ski and guiding them during snorkeling activities. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm attitude made these experiences especially enjoyable and memorable for us.

However, we were quite disappointed with the housekeeping service. We had to go to the reception several times to ask for our bed linen to be changed, but even then it was often not replaced. The cleaning was very superficial: surfaces in the room were not wiped, the floors were not cleaned, and the towels were not always changed. On several occasions, dirty cups and plates were left in the room. Once, a mug was taken away during cleaning and was never returned, which forced us to contact the manager. The manager did her best to help us and called our room over the next two days to ask when housekeeping could come. After that, the situation improved: the floors were cleaned, the bed linen and towels were changed, and the overall service became much better. Nevertheless, compared to other properties of the same brand that we have visited, the housekeeping standards at this hotel were noticeably below our expectations. We were also not particularly impressed with the beach. The pool was also a bit dirty, since birds are swimming there. One of the biggest drawbacks for us was the large number of street vendors walking along the beach and offering scarves, bracelets, and other items. We understand that this is not something the hotel can fully control, but we found it quite intrusive. They constantly approached guests, asked the same questions, and walked around the beach looking for potential customers. There were a lot of them, and at times it felt as though our privacy and ability to relax were being disturbed. Unfortunately, this negatively affected our overall beach experience.

Our stay at One&Only Le Saint Géran was truly unforgettable. The resort is stunning, with beautiful beaches, lush surroundings, and an atmosphere of pure relaxation. What made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They went above and beyond to make our family feel comfortable throughout our stay, especially traveling with young children. The food was excellent, the facilities were immaculate, and the service was consistently professional. Every detail reflected the high standards expected from a luxury resort. Thank you to the entire One&Only team for making our holiday so special. We left with wonderful memories and would happily recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mauritius. We look forward to returning in the future.

Я всегда стараюсь поддерживать отели, которые независимые и не входят ни в один альянс/сеть. Это хороший образец такого отеля. Территория, все ухоженно. Отель старый. Номера больше похожи на каюты круизных лайнеров. Номера большие. Я не знаю как обычные, но Junior Suite 270 был ровно такой же как на картинке. На ресепшен мне сказали про какой-то апгрейд, хотя это был именно тот номер, что я бронировал. Прекрасные кабаны на на пляже. Хорошо что к моему типу номера они давались. Иначе Вас ждет зонтик из соломы и 2 лежака. Итальянский ресторан прям топ. Из плюсов все.

Минусы отеля: Это персонал. На столько холодного персонала я нигде не встречал. Им просто все равно. Вы можете 300 раз поздороваться и лишь 10 раз услышать в ответ что то. И так во всем. Уборка номера. Они приходят в 16:00, хотя целуй день висел мешочек на ручке что б прибрались. Я попросил забронировать стол в японском отеле при заселении, про это забыли. Я начал писать на следующий день о брони мне сказали что с 21:00, потом нашли время и перенесли на 19:30. И это в полупустом ресторане. Самое главное. Я попросил бокал шампанского в азиатском ресторане. Мне принесли открытую бутылку, которая была полная. Но шампанское там было выдохшееся просекко или вино. На мое замечание что баблз в бокале нет и шампанское не соломенного цвета и это странно, принесли другую бутылку и открыли при мне ее. Жирный тунец в сашими и нигири не соответствует стандартам. Он просто резиновый и прожилки не соответствуют требованиям. Бассейны все с мутной водой. Бассейны маленькие и неудобные. Планировка отеля странная и нелогичная. Большинство людей набиты в ресторанах буфетах. Остальные рестораны пустые. Этот отель распиарили простикошечки инстаграмные, которые ничего кроме Дубаев не видели и подкупленные турагенты. На острове есть более приличные места. Сюда я больше не вернусь и не советую никому вестись. Это не тяжелый люкс.

Our stay at One&Only was Amazing Starting with a smooth check in process, even though we had arrived 2 hours early. The manager had assigned a staff member to assist us during our stay through WhatsApp, and they are connected with the concierge as well. The room was spacious, facing the beach giving us a magnificent view every single morning. Bathroom with a big bathtub was adding to the overall experience, especially with the sea salt and bath oil. Very outstanding restaurants within the resort, starting with Tapasaki Japanese cuisine I highly recommended, Prime Steakhouse has a yummy Mac and cheese, and lastly Riva for Italian cuisine.

Only one room for improvement, and I have told the manager about it before writing it here. The towels are worn-out , and don’t live up to luxurious standards this resort represents.

Everything was perfect. Qiao and Elodie from the team were very professional and made sure everything we needed was catered to.

An incredible resort, with exceptional staff. Absolutely phenomenal location, overall a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful and fun (bikes, games, pools, beach, gym, tennis, water sports ..) holiday. Our villa staff, especially Vishal kept the villa immaculate. The food was of excellent quality and varied.

Attraction was the villa with private heated pool for afternoon family time. Sadly the pool heating system didn’t work. Disappointing for a hotel of this calibre. Management offered to move but very difficult with three young kids to move. No hot water in first night. Seems like attention to detail is lacking

The location was secluded and very calm and safe, a beautiful beach with stunning views. All the facilities were clean and modern. My biggest compliments to the all the staff there for their superb hospitality and for going out of their way to make sure we all felt comfortable and had everything we needed. They helped a lot when I wasn’t feeling too well one day and went above and beyond to help me feel better faster and to be as comfy as possible. By far a fantastic experience and hotel/resort I would recommend to everyone

اطلالة الجناح جميلة

الفندق كان شبه فاضي ولا فيه حياة مثل باقي المنتجعات ولا فيه اي انشطة ترفيهية. كذلك المرافق بعيده عن بعض والمسبح صغير مقارنة بحجم المنتجع. المطاعم محدودة لا فيه تنوع بالاكل خصوصاً العشاء كذلك الفندق اللوبي حقه عباره عن ممر وتحس بالفارغ!

The property itself is so good, the room is clean and the staff were nice. However, the hotel is so quiet and I did not like the beach that much it is not the best beach in my opinion.

En çok deniz ve kumsalını begendim. Villa kısmında kaldık, çok konforluydu. Spa sı gayet güzeldi. Farklı restaurantların olması guzel bir opsiyon sunumuş oldu. Tesisdeki padle ve tenis sahaları çok iyiydi.

Açık büfesi böyle bir otel için vasatın altıydı. Sabah kahvalatolatında hergün aynı şeyi sunuyorlar birkaç gün sonra sıkıyor. Akşam açık büfeleride beklentilerimin altındaydı. Otelde buggy sorunuda var. Ara ara 10/15 dakika civarı buggy beklemek zorunda kaldık. Otelin bar kısmı ve eglencesi çok zayıftı.

В целом отличное место для отдыха, дружелюбный персонах, хорошие разнообразные завтраки, несколько ресторанов на территории отеля. Мясной ресторан вкусный, азиатский не понравился. Можно брать ужины - буфет, большое количество красивых и разнообразных десертов. Пилетес и йога понравились. Вертолетная экскурсия понравилась.

Пляж очень мелкий, личный ассистент переодически пропускал сообщения с вопросами об активностях из-за этого приходилось самим звонить и бронировать что-то не через вотсап. В номере пахло влажностью, можно установить осушители.
