Great hotel and nicely situated. Close to the railway station, and just off the mall.

The location is not in the best part of town with rubbish strewn outside.

This time it was a great stay as I didn't hear neighbours. The room is big with nice bathroom. Well designed.

Lovely hotel in a very good central location, shopping centre and restaurants/bars all within easy walking distance. The discount at a nearby car park is helpful. The bar area is good fun with the games available. The breakfast selection is outstanding and late checkout is also a bonus.

we booked 2 rooms and were given 2 next to each other. We paid for 2 nights. I find it very odd that only one of the rooms was cleaned and the beds made and coffees restocked and the other ignored. We told reception and they said one requested and one did not, which was a lie as I checked in both and that was never mentioned.

They had a mandatory electric outage for several hours on Monday, with ne advance warning when I booked. I may have found a different place to stay.

Unfortunately my air con didn't work and the hotel was full. However I was moved the next day and had a small refund to it was attended to

The hotel is central to Reading railway station., shops etc ( London. by train is 20 mins away ) The hotel was quiet during our stay (Monday to Thursday). room was clean , good heating system. Good security by the fact that without room pass card you cannot access the lift to any floor, Recommend staying on the top floor.

This is a really friendly hotel with a great vibe in the foyer/bar area. The staff were helpful. We ordered food which came quickly and was delicious even though it was late in the evening. The rooms were comfortable and clean with amazing showers. They were decorated well with chairs and art, and the curtains did a great job of blocking the sunlight.

The beds creaked a lot which didn't help sleep. It was the hottest day of the year and the air con didn't quite get up to speed but I'm not sure any would. The rooms were dog friendly rooms (we had dogs with us) but I found myself suffering from allergies from other dogs who have been in the rooms.

The dart board lights weren't working and the throw seemed very long so we didn't play! The breakfast was very tasty but the sausages, bacon and beans were cold! The body wash in the shower was empty so we had to wash with the shampoo!

Couldn't connect to hdmi or mirror the phone wouldn't let us even though there was options for this. Parking also said has parking and actually does not so spend 60 for 2 cars for 2 night which is crazy. So just on that note properly wouldn't stay there again

Room located on the second floor at the front of the building, drunk people shouting outside all night. Curtains don’t fit the windows. Didn’t get much sleep with all the shouting at night and sunlight flooding into the room in the morning. Staff asked me how was my stay, I told them it was terrible. Their response is quite funny, I didn’t think they know what to say so they just said oh that’s good. Another asked me why, after explained to them they didn’t respond with anything other than oh okay.

L'unico "neo" era il fatto che la stanza non veniva pulita in automatico, ma che bisognava far sapere la mattina alla reception che bisognava rifarla.

The location is very good and easy to access everything...shops, station, restaurants etc. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked.

The entire hotel is very dark. Room was dingy and a refurb is definitely required. New windows needed as mouldy and all cracked paintwork. TV went off every couple of minutes which is frustrating. The whole fun/come as a stranger leave as a friend vibe was non-existent

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the hotel staff. I urgently needed a Type-C charging cable as I had a train to catch and all my booking details were stored on my phone. When I approached reception for assistance, I was simply told, “Sorry, I forgot my charger at home today.” I genuinely fail to understand how a hotel staff member can manage throughout the day without a charging cable, but more importantly, how can a reputed hotel be so unprepared to assist a guest with such a basic requirement? It would hardly have cost the hotel anything to let me charge my phone for even 30 minutes, just enough to ensure it survived my journey. Instead, I had to go out for breakfast and request the restaurant staff to charge my phone. This was extremely inconvenient and left me feeling completely unsupported as a guest. For a reputed hotel, I expected a much better standard of service and basic guest assistance. Unfortunately, the attitude and lack of willingness to help from the reception staff made this a very poor experience for me. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed for 10 days, room was only cleaned twice (?!). Shocking as we kept telling reception that we need the room cleaned. Not even toilet rolls or picking up rubbish

Room showing a bit of wear. Bathroom a tiny bit small. Neither of which are a huge worry at this price point. No water in the room or safe though. Should be basics and easy to provide.

It’s a great location, and staff are super friendly. The hotel lobby/bar/restaurant area is really fun, with pool tables and darts. The cocktails were tasty. The rooms look a little knackered, there a quite a few chips off the paint, and it would have been good to have a fridge in the room. Showers were good. We’d stay there again, staff were lovely

i didn't have any food and all i was bothered about was a quiet room and air con so it delivered. I do find the room decor didn't match the entrance / other areas. My room was very dated with flowery wallpaper which wasn't very calming for a good nights sleep etc.

Room was a bit smelly, window wasn't closing properly so it was very noisy from the traffic, partially blocked drain in the shower, we had no shower gel at all and I could keep going. Needs a bit more attention to details. It has the potential to be a great hotel.

Oh the food was absolutely amazing. I wasn’t happy about the £5 service charge just to put my steak on the table. All the salt pots were empty so I had to wait five minutes before I’ve got salt. She bought a table which I don’t use cause he’s got too much chemicals in it. I only use sea salt the downstairs the gym and everything was absolutely fantastic. Very lovely. Brilliant place and the Blonde light on the front desk while she was amazing she needs get a pay rise!

Room was absolutely filthy. The carpet tiles with disgustingly dirty which are easy to be changed hadn’t been cleaned dust wise for a long time I have asthma so I had no sleep at all. Very disappointed the blonde lady on the front desk I can’t remember her name was absolutely amazing actually helped me with stuff that she didn’t need to help me with on my phone! She made the stay bearable due to helping me!

Interesting and quirky, we liked this hotel, the food was good and the staff friendly. I'm not sure that the rooms were actually air-conditioned, we rang to check and were assured that they were, but they weren't as cool as expected. Some aspects were a bit tired looking. The beds are huge! Loved them. They have late check out availability which is nice, though we didn't need it and the breakfast was okay.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the city centre. It has a great social area with free games to play such as pool, shuffle board, foosball, table tennis, darts, pinball machine, space invaders game and play station. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lifts could only be used by guests using their key card. The room was spacious. 40% parking discount was helpful at Q-parking.

There were a couple of dirty spots in my room, on the furniture. The bed was comfortable but creaky. There was no shower gel in the bottle provided. My room was next to the lift so it was a bit noisy. At the bar, 2 small packets of crisps cost me £5.63!!!

Great value for money. The hotel has seen better days but it is presented well and the current management clearly have a focus. The beds were comfortable and the air con worked, essential as you can't open the windows.

The air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy. Luckily I had ear plugs with me. I would have liked a USB charging port somewhere in the room as I did not have a uk plug with me having just returned from abroad.

Clean and reasonable

The games (pool, darts, shuffleboard) were are included, just had to pay service charge for drinks, great idea! Gym was pretty good (especially pelaton bike). Staff were friendly. Great location if you want access into reading. Bed was comfy, nice having air conditioning too!

Corridors were a bit dark. A bit of a maze at times to find gym and main toilets
