Y être comme à la maison, l'hôte est attentive et sympathique. Jolie maison et équipements soignés de qualité. Sympathique petit déjeuner. Vraiment pas loin de l'aéroport et calme dans une zone résidentielle.

Se voir réclamer 20$ de frais de nettoyage "anti COVID" (cela pour tout le monde puisque c'est affiché dans la cuisine) alors que cela n'était pas écrit dans le contrat et que le prix de la chambre n'est pas remboursable ! Un peu de l'extorsion !

Convenient location for YVR. Vivian was a great host and kindly provided a shuttle to the airport for $20, which was much appreciated. The breakfast room was accessible at all times and offered a good variety of choices. Thanks for a good stay!

Dette stod ikke noen steder, hun (eier) valset rett inn på alle tre rom og viste på telefonen at det var informert om gebyret et eller annet sted, som må være hennes eget bestillingssystem) Ved ankomst kommanderte verten som en general: «ingen sko inne», «ingen kofferter på rommet» ingen mat på rommet» dette skulle plasseres i gangen. Hadde bestilt tre rom på 18 m3 med eget bad, et av rommene var 5-6 m3 med felles bad (verten voktet døren og sendte meg til tre forskjellige bad under en dags opphold). Når jeg nektet å betale gebyr cash fikk jeg beskjed om at da fikk vi heller ikke frokost. Dette er verste plassen vi har vært på gjennom booking.com. Hadde jeg lest vurderingene først hadde jeg ikke valgt dette stedet. Jeg ser eieren benekter og latterliggjør gjestene som vurderer, men det gjestene skriver er sant. Verten lyver deg rett om i fjeset.

Wo fange ich an? Die Inhaberin hat bei uns dieselbe Masche abgezogen wie bei allen anderen auch. Vor Ort sollte eine Reinigungsgebühr bezahlt werden. Bar, ohne Rechnung. Als wir uns weigerten diese zu entrichten wurden wir, wie kleine Kinder, auf unsere Zimmer geschickt. Wir waren zu Viert, es gibt also genügend Zeugen, dass es so passiert ist. 2 Minuten nachdem wir auf unsere Zimmer geschickt wurden, kam sie uns hinterher um uns des Hauses zu verweisen. Eine Erstattung vor Ort lehnte sie ab, Booking wird hier ebenfalls nicht tätig. Ein gutgemeinter Rat: Finger weg! Gebt lieber ein bisschen mehr Geld aus. Die Koffern mussten unten im Flur bleiben, Schuhe direkt ausgezogen werden (Hausschuhe gab es keine). Ich habe in Schottland in einigen B&Bs übernachtet und so etwas noch nie erlebt.

Un accueil exceptionnel à proximité de l’aéroport Nous avons passé une nuit chez Vivian, du 15 au 16 août, et tout s’est parfaitement bien déroulé. Vivian est une hôte adorable, chaleureuse et très accueillante. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié échanger avec elle et nous nous sommes immédiatement senties à l’aise. La proximité de l’aéroport est également un vrai avantage. Nous recommandons cet hébergement sans hésiter !

The B&B was promoted as: Rooms feature private bathrooms and breakfast My room was more like a closet space and the bathroom was downstairs. Breakfast was a muffin or croissant, Being gluten intolerant, which I indicated upon booking the hostess did agree to boil two eggs and left some fruit for me. At 7:00 am There was no-one available to provide directions or show us how to make the coffee etc.

The room is spacious enough and clean. The towels are clean and pretty new.

1. The owner didn't treat guests with respect. She didn't allow us to wear shoes into the room. She didn't allow us to take our big luggage into the room either and as such, it was so inconvenient for us to get out the things we need. 2. The owner didn't honor the 2pm check-in time. We arrived at 2.10 pm and she was not at the premises and she made us wait until 3.10pm and she was not apologetic whatsoever. When I asked her the reason why she was not at her house at the check-in time, she simply answered that she had her own life and had to do her own things. This behaviour was not acceptable because she run her B&B business, she had to follow the basic rule that guests have to be allowed in at the exact check-in time. It's also worth to mention that we arrived at her premises early in the morning, but she said we had to wait till the check-in time 2pm to be allowed into the room. Then, we left our luggage there, and went to have our lunch and didn't return until 2.10pm. She should not run her business if she answered me as mentioned above. 3. She forced us to pay an extra $20 in cash for cleaning her kitchen albeit we didn't eat her breakfast or use anything in the kitchen.

The Owner was very sweet, made us feel at home, and the room was super comfy. Room and Bathroom were clean. The decorations are beautiful, sort of romantic camp style, very unique and colorful. We had a lovely one-night stay. Breakfast was ok.

We couldn`t bring our checked bags into the room to prevent bringing in bedbugs, which is smart, but we would have packed differently and just brought in the carry-ons if we had known in advance.

Vivien was a very pleasant host and made us feel welcome. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Location was great for proximity to airport and walking distance to food options.

An early check-in had been confirmed by Royalty B and B but there was no one at the house when we arrived and we had to wait for someone to arrive and then wait some more for our room to be made ready. After an overnight flight of 8.5 hours, this wasn’t ideal.

Beautifully decorated, the winding staircase, bed was very comfortable, hostess was very welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, I felt safe and at ease

We could make coffee in the kitchen. There was an open carton of sour milk in the fridge, but we also found an unopened carton of milk that wasn't too old. The room and bathroom was clean.

The hostess was extremely rude. We weren't allowed to bring our suitcase into our room because there might be bedbugs in it. The suitcase had to be left at the entrance for at least an hour before we were allowed to bring it into the room. Our flight was delayed, and we had to pay a $30 late fee and a $20 cleaning fee. THe place was noisy with the kids screaming and then the TV blasting. The male resident with a Taliban like beard told me it was part of the B and B experience standard and I should leave immediately if I don't like it. Obnoxious person. Also charged $20 bogus sanitation fee and said I could just leave if I didn't want to pay it. Very aggressive.

Apparently this is just someone’s house that they are pretending is some kind of place to stay. I was in a rush for an overnight trip and didn’t see the multitude of 1 star reviews. I also didn’t realize only booking.com hosts this property and was removed from Expedia and other competitors. This isn’t even a place to stay. It’s just a scam. Booking.com needs to understand that this has lost my faith in their platform and I’ll be exclusively avoiding using this app and their cousins like Agoda due to this specific property even being listed here.

Comfortable room, quiet walkable neighbourhood, excellent access to the airport and bus transit. Vivian was responsive and helpful. Breakfast was available anytime we wanted to self-serve.

We didn't anticipate living in the family's home. This wasn't bad - we were simply surprised at the little one having dinner and roaming about while we're resting in the afternoon.

This is a quirky place! Reading the reviews was great fun. I guess you choose to get amused with this place or angry; we have chosen the former, life is too short! There is a20 dollar cleaning charge, no one told us about that! You have to remove shoes immediately after stepping in and wait &or luggage to detoxify before taking it to your room! 3 hours! But the bed was lovely, we slept like children and tea and coffee were available. Breakfast we skipped it wasn’t a great choice. Would we book again? No, we prefer something more conventional, but we won’t forget this place either and we will smile when we do.

Following my reservation, I was presented with a series of undisclosed charges: a $20 CAD COVID tax (cash), a $30 CAD late check-in fee (after 10:30 PM), and a full reservation charge for check-ins after midnight. None of these conditions were communicated prior to booking — they were only revealed after my non-refundable reservation had been confirmed. This constitutes a deliberately deceptive practice. For this reason, I cancelled my reservation and requested a full refund of the amount paid, which is still under discussion with the property and Booking.com.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, and everything was very clean. We had a very comfortable stay, and Vivian was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here for a good deal on a nice B&B near the airport.

The location was close enough to the airport to be the perfect stopover on our way over to Vancouver Island. Our host was welcoming with a late check in ( 10.30pm ) and the toast and cereal breakfast hit the spot.

The hostess Vivian was very pleasant and went out of her way to make sure I was well aware of all the features of the B&B as well as advice on places to eat in the local area.

Vivian is a lovely lady and really enjoyed our interaction. She allowed me an early check in and gave me good tips for food spot. I love the no outside shoes in the house policy The house was super clean. I felt home. I will definitely come back for a longer stay.

We arrived half hour late due to an accident on the highway. The host called us and said she would charge us extra for being late. When we arrived, she said accident was an excuse to be late. A car was upside down, we could do nothing about it. No empathy and simply rude. The host requested 20$ sanitizing fee due to Covid that happened 6 years ago. She pocketed the money we gave her. He asked where we came from and said she doesn’t allow suitcase in the room if we came from the airport. How absurd. She made us take our shoes off and leave them on a shoe rack. She said our shoes were dirty. She offered indoor slippers that were questionable to be clean. We chose to go barefoot. She asked what time we wanted breakfast, after dealing with her we wanted to leave as soon as we woke up. Reading others reviews about breakfast being a piece of bread with jam, we made a good choice not to stay. It is not bed and breakfast with a toast. Misleading and false advertising. We did not get key to our room. If we were to go for a walk anybody could have come to the room and take what they pleased. That was not safe. She did not show us emergency exit or anything like that. She was more concerned about the money. We stayed in other bbns in Canada and that was the worst host. Very weird vibe from her. Booking.com should admit place like this.

Loved the location! Planes can be a little loud but I personally loved them. The woman was so cute and sweet and if she were my landlord, I would be the luckiest renter. Highly recommend this place, it is gorgeous.

After paying for the accommodation with no further payments on my app I arrived at the residence and I was greeted by the host asking for 20 dollars in cash or e transfer. Upon further questioning she said it’s an extra cleaning charge they require from all tenants staying and that I had to pay her to stay at her place after I already paid for the night and she showed me some photos on her phone trying to claim that we are required to pay her because of the images she showed me. I was being pandered for more money after already paying for my stay and am very upset as I was confronted by the host upon arrival and found this to be very deceptive by the host and not forthcoming.

I love the owner of the property..she was kind,friendly.Further more she’s hospitable person. I love everything about the property especially my bedroom, it was cosy.

I definitely did NOT like arriving and finding no host nor any access to accommodations I had already paid for despite my having twice given my arrival as between 6pm and 7pm more than 10 days prior (I arrived at 6:30 pm). I had recieved no message in reply as to a self check-in so was completely unprepared to find an empty house after getting off of a 16 hour flight from Vietnam. I was beyond exhausted. I walked around the entire home knocking on 4 different doors, but nothing, there was no one. I borrowed a neighbors wifi to look up the booking and called the host, she replied "I won't be there for awhile, we have gone out to get something to eat". At that point she informed me one of the 4 doors was unlocked. How was I to know? I had recieved no message informing me of such.during that last 10 days, a few words could have prevented me a lot of frustration and inconvenience. It was very off-putting being told three times in that same phone conversation to take off my shoes before I was even in the house. When the host arrived there was no greeting, no conversation or concern that I had been standing outside for 30 minutes, just immediately "Come to your room because we want to eat". Apparently my presence was in the way of that. It states in the booking that there are lounges and shared kitchen area, I was sitting at the kitchen table when they arrived, but was clearly not welcome there. I was also told that my luggage was not permitted upstairs in my room with me, it must remain downstairs (with your valuables unmonitored and unprotected). I took my luggage upstairs into my room, it does not sleep separate from me. I had to carry each piece up very steep narrow stairs even though the booking states that the entire unit is on ground level. A man had come home with her, but there was no offer of help, and you will be ordered to not have your luggage come in touch the floor on the way, she will watch to make sure this does not

I was shown the room and bathroom and told "This is your space", she shut the door and that was that. I had already been made to feel unwelcome. She did not communicate any information as to the morning's "included breakfast" so I had no idea what was the process when I woke next morning, but it didnt matter because there was again no sign of the host nor any message on Booking.com, not even a note on the counter. You have to figure it all out yourself. Turns out "Breakfast included" is dry toast, jam and a banana. No problem, would have preferred to have been told this. I left at my check out time and left the house as I found it. Empty. It is VERY questionable as to being instructed to pay an additional fee for "Covid sanitizing" when all other accommodations stopped charging Covid charges after the whole world got vaccinated. The room areas have to be cleaned and sanitized after a guest anyway. If you are that uncomfortable with people coming into your home, then you are in the wrong business. Micro-managing is not welcoming, it is disturbing. I feel that the least amount of effort was put in making a guest in this place comfortable in every way as it is not just about a physical bed, a true B&B provides acceptance as well. If you like being treated as though you are a problem in being there and not a guest, you will like this place. I did not.

Read the poor reviews both here and on google. The house itself is fine and the rooms are nice. Upon arrival I was immediately hassled for a $20 COVID cleaning fee either via etransfer or cash (??? huge red flag. I never paid it). I informed her that COVID has been eradicated since 2022 and she replied with 'i don't know what diseases you're carrying'. This is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot support foreigners who immigrate to this country and begin scamming locals and tourists. I understand it's only $20 but the principle is what bothers me here. She is aggressive about the payment. While trying to have my dinner she repeatedly asked for the payment and refused to be quiet in the presence of one of her guests trying to have a quiet evening after a long few days of travel. I told her to contact booking.com for the payment which of course she will not do because she knows she is in the wrong here. Furthermore, there was a half dead wasp in the bathroom which makes me question how serious the 'covid sanitation' truly is. I'll be filing an official complaint through both booking.com, Airbnb and any other platform she is operating on. Do not support people like this. Do not book here. Spend a bit of extra cash and go support a Canadian business that isn't intent on ripping you off. Shame on you Vivian.

I was shocked that the owner charges $30 "SANITATION FEE" and $30 after 22.30 check in LATE FEE. If your flight comes in late, the $116.00 Booking. com price suddenly becomes $176.00. One is better off to book Comfort Inn.

The location is close to the airport, the bed was comfortable, there was a bowl of sweets and a jug of water set out on my nightstand. The owner is personable.

The owner charged an extra $20 cleaning fee in cash and an extra $30 in cash for late arrival. The cleaning fee was not mentioned up front. The late arrival fee was basically for the owner having to get up later, which I feel wasn't really fair to charge since this is her home. In addition, I was only informed of this charge the day before my arrival. The bathroom wasn't especially clean and there was no lock on it. The breakfast was sparse (self-serve bread and sweet spreads, instant coffee, yoghurt).

The rooms were to cold. I felt like sleeping at the antartic, and there was no temperature control or AC on the room. The host are extremely invasive, asking my background, and what did we bring in our bags. They charge extra money for everything, hidden charges. You get a 20 dollars sanitizing fee at arrival. We reject to pay it for sure. They don’t allow you to take your bags to the room, what??!! Be prepared to leave your bags at lobby, because is prohibited to take the big ones up. No food or drinks allowed on rooms. This is some kind of military controlled hotel. I’m glad we stayed a single night. Oh, for the breakfast included is cereal, coffee, bread. No eggs or sausages. So only sugar to your mainstream.

The only good things about this property is its location close to the Vancouver International Airport and a nice neighborhood.

The hostess was very unwelcoming, right as we entered the property - she told us in commanding manner to remove our shoes though we were wearing clean city shoes, not to roll our bags to our room but to carry them and that we have to pay her cleaning fee of 20$ in cash though it was not in the description for what we paid for as Bed&Breakfast. When we asked about the breakfast for next morning, she pointed to the counter in her kitchen were there was a jar with a bit of jam on the very bottom, and 2 jars with instant coffee and sugar. There was also an unwashed tea kettle with used tea bags in it. And then she pointed to her family fridge and said that we can use milk, showed a plastic bag with three remaining pieces of bread and 3 small tubs of yogurt. We were taken aback as all these looks like someone’s leftovers in an AirBnB not a B&B. We stayed in many B&B in many countries including Canada and always the hosts either served hot breakfast themselves using nice plates etc. or they provided a separate fridge filled with different food for guests to use themselves. This is why such accommodations are called B&B, breakfast was always something special. But it even got worth afterwards, when we went to our room and were trying to rest after the transpacific flights - the hostess’s small grandchildren who live in the same house were running around, yelling and screaming with no respect for the guests. When we went out for dinner, we were told to take all our valuables with us as the door is not locked and were not given a key. In the morning instead of inviting us to breakfast the hostess again asked about the cleaning fee which we refused to pay and left as it was unbearable to stay in such unwelcoming environment.

Breakfast, told you serve yourself. we found two loads of breads which expired almost two months. No restaurants and public transportation this aira. Room clean,space larger.

I had an extremely unpleasant and deeply frustrating experience with the person in charge, whose name is Vivian. The day before my stay, we spoke, and I clearly informed her that I would be arriving early. She told me to arrive before 8:30 a.m. or after 10 a.m. I arrived at 7 a.m., notified her by message, and repeatedly called her. She finally answered at 9 a.m., and she was clearly asleep. She did not show up until 11:00 a.m. By that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying. Because of this negligence, I lost a fully paid tour to Victoria since I had nowhere safe to leave my luggage. This caused not only financial loss but also emotional distress during what was supposed to be a pleasant trip. On top of that, the place itself looked extremely neglected—filled with cobwebs, loose electrical outlets hanging from the walls, and an excessive amount of dust everywhere. I can only imagine that breakfast is either not served at all or is closer to a late lunch, given the lack of professionalism and care. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I will be filing an official complaint with PROFECO to request a full refund. I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially if your arrival is early in the morning or late at night, because you will most likely be left outside with no assistance and no one answering the phone—exactly what happened to me.

Thank you for having me. It was the perfect little stay before my flight home to Melbourne, Victoria, AUS. You have a beautiful and welcoming home. Just a short walk to the bus stop to catch the 401 to Richmond Centre for a little wander around and shop to grab some snacks for a 20+ hour flight! Location was perfect – only a 10 minute drive to the airport.

When we checked in, she said it was a deep cleaning fee with alcohol and vinegar!! She went on to say that we are educated people and it was only 10$ each! I REFUSED to pay. And we found used towels hanging behind the door - not so detailed a clean!Guess the next guests will not have clean rooms since I did not pay the extra 20$!? Everyone should REFUSE to pay this. *Breakfast was sooo disappointing - Cheerios, and bread in the fridge. She charges for fruit! Booking.com advertises this place as ‘ very good breakfast’ ?? Absolutely NOT! *shower pressure is disappointing * she was very rude when I was on the phone a few days before our check in as we were flying in and there was a possibility that our flight was going to be delayed and she wanted to charge 30$ for check ins after 11:30 pm or 100$ for after midnight check ins. This is in the Legal section of booking.com. This should be made very clear in the check in times and not in the legal section. She said she could lock the door and not let me in after midnight check ins, she was doing me a favour by charging me 100$, in a very rude tone. As it was our flight was early and we arrived just after 10.
