The Hotel Saratoga, an Ascend Collection Hotel

They shuttled us to the concert venue and back for free. The bed was very comfortable which for me is priority number 1. Hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. Will be back every time we are in Saratoga Springs.

Stayed in a suite. 406 Much needed attention. All doors are scratched and missing paint. Toilet was loose on the floor and caulking around it was a mess. Electric box missing cover and wires just hanging everywhere.

The breakfast was good and provided a reasonable way to start the day. The female staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. The shuttle bus drivers are the best part about the hotel! The shuttle staff was friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful.

The room was not very clean, Our room had a kitchenette which was was woefully under appointed. The refrigerator door, which abuts the wall and a window frame, needs to be reversed in order to offer more effective access. There was an empty liquor bottle with the few dishes in the kitchen cabinets. There was no glassware or even a wine opener. When we opened the sofa bed there was still bedding on from the previous occupants. There is no recycling on the premises which is archaic in comparison to SPAC and elsewhere!

Many updates were needed. The door on my room would not open all the way. The bathroom had molding falling off and lots of mold stains in the tub and surrounding areas. It's sad because it could be a very nice hotel

The location is good, easy to get to SPAC and downtown Saratoga Springs. The front desk attendant was super helpful and friendly. A true gem of a person.

The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, the bathroom ceiling was flaking, the shower pan was dirty, the wall patches were slapped on without sanding and then painted over, and the shower door was difficult to open and close when in the shower. Food from a previous guest was left in the mini fridge.

Good breakfast, nice pool, and comfortable room.

I think the mattresses are getting to their life’s end.

Pricey though I know this time of year is high in Saratoga. The bathroom was also in a little less clean state (mold and broken tiles) than would have expected.

Property was lovely. Pool area was very nice. Rooms were spotless! Breakfast included was a plus. The hotel shuttle took you anywhere you wanted to go.

It’s far from downtown and the track but the shuttle picks you up and drops you off anywhere you need to go. Just call before midnight from wherever you are.

No room service for 2 day stay. Had to request towels. Very noisy from people above us. No carpeting in rooms and could hear people stomping on floor above us until late night and early morning again.

The rooms were outdated. My thermostat didn't even have a cover on it. Lighting was bad in the room also. Also during big events should have had multiple shuttles. The wait was long because everyone that stayed was at the concert. Only one shuttle running.

Didn't honor request for early check in. Location of room was not ideal as it was at the main intersection of the floor plan and right next to elevator so it was a bit noisy at times. Shower enclosure had molding coming off the bottom and along the sliding doors. General maintenance seemed to be lacking.

The room we stayed was right around the corner from the front desk, and we could clearly hear people drinking and talking loudly in the lobby after 11pm. I understood this is a place to have fun, but it doesn’t hurt to put a sign about quiet hours. Even worse, the room door did not shut properly. We ended up leaving the room door ajar most of the time. It was too much work to close the door from inside and outside. I had to ask for help at the front desk when I left the room. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.

Our room was a disappointment from the start. The room was minimally appointed; no luggage rack or a piece of furniture upon which to set luggage. I was able to see into a couple of other rooms and there was either a sofa or a chair; we had nothing. The bathroom had a leak resulting in a puddle on the floor which we soaked up with towels. We did report the issue. Our room needed a complete overhaul. Housekeeping never showed even though we requested the service, so we had to go to the desk for towels, TP and bags to empty trash. We didn’t need housekeeping every day, but at least once during our stay would have been nice. This was a mini vacation, but the accommodations left very much to be desired.

The staff was excellent friendly, courteous and helpful the breakfast area was the best stock in the cleanest kept of any hotel I've ever stayed in even though there were many people using it ,it stayed clean the entire morning and stocked the entire morning. They even quickly responded to a text question I had before my arrival. My friend was impressed that they had tea offerings in the pods in the room.

My only complaint was that my bed although comfortable had a giant roll to the middle dent. It was ok as I slept alone but would not have been any fun if I had a bed partner. The bed was also a bit soft for my liking but that is a personal choice. Otherwise no complaints.

When checking in I was given zero information what was avaliable at the hotel. I saw a shuttle but had no idea I could use it. Didn't know the times for breakfast, pool or anything else avaliable. Normally the check in person would give that information. Also, arrived after 4pm and room still wasn't clean and ready when check in is 3. I had to wait when I just wanted to go to my room to get ready for the event I was attending. I walked to the event, but if I knew anything about the shuttle schedule I would have used that. I just think it was unprofessional, the girl was young so its more understandable just a bit disappointing.

The breakfast and pool area or nice staff was not rude but not friendly either. Overall the property was a bit more run down and not as clean as I would have preferred. The toilets did not flush well. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room facing a busy road. We could hear the footfalls of our upstairs neighbors very loudly.

We didn't expect much bc we were just passing through for the night, so we picked one of the more cost effective hotels in the area. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was extremely clean and the location was great. The offered a free shuttle into town and the continental breakfast was so good! Above all else, the staff were incredibly kind! Rooms were comfortable and large.

Beds were slept in, towels were used, and the toilet was not flushed. Carpets were not vacuumed, food was left in the garbage, and the tip was not even collected, proving that nobody even came to clean the room in the first place. We found bugs in the shower, and the room had an odor to it.

I was rented a room that was covered in mold. I was told I would be issued a issued a refund on June 18. I have yet to be reimbursed for my stay in the absolute lack of cleanliness.

I could not have asked for a better hotel before a concert at SPAC. Although they offer a shuttle, I opted to walk and it was super convenient. The free breakfast was an added bonus as I did not know it was included. It was fresh and filling. My room was clean and spacious. I highly recommend the property.

We enjoyed the accessibility to our room from the parking lot, the pillows & beds were very comfortable & the breakfast was enjoyable & plenty of options. We did not get to utilize the pool however the pool area looked very tidy & well kept!

Nice hotel, convenient to state park and downtown Saratoga Springs. Very clean. Good breakfast in the morning. Pleasant staff. Dog friendly with a large grass area for walking around. They have a nice sized clean swimming pool also. I would definitely stay here again!
