En general todo excelente sin embargo la regadera tenía poca presión de agua .

Die Lage war sehr gut, direkt an der Promenade. Man hat einen direkten Strandzugang mit eigenen Liegen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Der balkon ist äußerst groß und das Zimmer verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche.

Posizione centrale con beach club incluso (con zona pulita dal sargazo).

Beach club mal organizzato, troppi sdraio per il posto disponibile. L’acqua della doccia non ha abbastanza pressione e inoltre non ha né una tenda né un vetro, quindi si bagna tutto il bagno.

Habitaciones amplias y a un paso de la playa.

Sus instalaciones no son adecuadas para llevar a personas con poca movilidad.

Die Lage war super. Mit der Übernachtung im Hotel hat man Zugang zu den Liegestühlen inkl. Sonnenschirm auf der anderen Strassenseite. Das Essen im Restaurant war super. Das Hotel hat eigenen Parkplätze.

Bei der Übergabe fehlten wichtige Anweisungen, das Personal sprach kaum englisch und war unserer Meinung nach auch nicht bemüht, sich mit uns zu verständigen. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche reichte nicht, um meine Haare zu waschen. Der Abfall für das Toilettenpapier hatte keinen Deckel, was wir sehr unangenehm fanden.

Localizacao excelente, instalacoes bastante interessantes, apesar de pecarem um pouco na manutenção e limpeza, como as dos vidros.

nao se pode levar nem um suco proprio para consumir na praia em frente ao hotel. Restaurante é caro (todo mundo que nao ganha em dolar ou euro acaba se dando um pouco mal na cidade).

El personal muy atento todo el tiempo, la habitación estaba limpia, la ubicación es excelente justo frente al mar.

La habitación tiene buen tamaño y adaptada con refrigerador, parrilla eléctrica y horno, así como utensilios en caso de querer preparar algo en tu habitación o mantener alimentos frescos. Además de tener pantalla y acceso a WiFi, lo que hacía mas cómoda la habitación.

Se encuentra en la planta baja un restaurante (al parecer de otra administración) que suele generar mucho ruido por la mañana. El acceso a la playa es de fácil acceso, pero los días de crucero y visitas de extranjeros hay pocas palapas, camastros o sillas.

Great location in the very centre of Mahahual, very friendly and helpful staff even though we speak virtually zero Spanish ! Lovely room, clean comfortable bed, exactly as described. Beach lounger access included - but nab a bed early before the cruise passengers get them all !

Parking is very limited in and around the hotel, not the hotels fault at all, Mahahual is a VERY busy little town now due to the cruise terminal nearby.

Los controles de la televisión no funcionan bien y no tienen caja de seguridad

Goede ligging aan het strand. Voldoende vers water. Goed bed.

Het balkon konden we nauwelijks gebruiken omdat er bouwwerkzaamheden in het naastgelegen hotel plaats vonden, wat veel overlast gaf. Het douchscherm is te klein waardoor de badkamer deels nat wordt. De wifi is niet goed/sterk.

The apartment had everything we needed (apart from glasses) and was comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and looked after our bags when we checked out.

We had an apartment with a balcony on the street, which was noisy at night. We were not allowed to use a sun lounger with a sunshade, as we weren’t eating, despite staying at the resort, only the loungers without shade.

The kitchenette was a big plus. It was a bit busy during the day because of the cruise shipa and service providers but it was really calm in the evening and early on.

The hotel is very conveniently located with direct access to the main pedestrian street right in front of the beach. The room is, in fact, a complete apartment with living room, cooking facilities, independent sleeping room and private bathroom, and correctly furnished. Staff was exceptionally kind, Mahahual, a former fishers village, is an increasingly touristic spot (even cruises have a stop during high season), yet it is not at all overcrowded. On the contrary, it is silent, breezy, with fantastic beaches and great seafood, great opportunitis to sknorkel or dive, and it remains still a small town.

Breakfast is not included. (However the hotel has an appropriate restaurant where breakfast, drinks or lunch can be purchased at a very reasoable price).

Staff and restaurant were very good.

Hot water for showers was extremely limited. A minute or two and then cold water only.

Esta lleno de cucarachas, por las noches apenas apagas la luz y empiezan a salir unas tras otra, me dormí en el sofá que es incómodo y tambien estana subiendose las cucarachas, algo bastante desagradable tal vez para la gente del Hotel sea normal vivir entre tanta cucaracha pero para mi fue algo asqueroso, la limpieza que hacen es muy superficial, abres las alacenas y llenas de polvo y mugre, se les ocurrió destapar el drenaje cuando estábamos cenando en el restaurante y el olor era insoportable mejor hubieran cerrado el restaurante mientras hacía la reparación o hacerlo mas tarde ya que cerraran el restaurante, al despatar las tuberias dejaron toda la sucidad por los pasillos, no me volvería a hospedar aquí ni regalado

Einrichtung ziemlich alt und verbraucht. Das Bad ist sehr eng und die Dusche hat schwachen Wasserdruck. Nach 18:00 kehrt Ruhe ein, nachdem die tausenden von Kreuzfahrtschiff-Gäste wieder eingesammelt werden. Tagsüber wurden wir am schmalen Strand deswegen ständig von lästigen Strandhändler belästigt.

Położony bezpośrednio przy plaży hotel, udostępnia leżaki i parasole. Blisko do kilku barów i restauracji.

Wyposażenie pokoju miało już swoje lata.

Excelentes servicios y atención, tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente pero gracias a la preocupación de Yuliana y Mariela se logró solucionar de excelente manera.

Llevo muchos años viniendo a este hotel y todo bien pero hon en día los meseros son muy muy altaneros y nada serviciales, jamás regresaré, hay lugares donde te sientes agusto, pero este ya no, hasta que cambien al personal (meseros), recepción todo bien

Personal muy amable, la limpieza de las habitaciones, la comida del restaurante muy bueno, servicio muy agradable. El club de playa es muy comodo.

El internet no es muy bueno y solo esta limitado a algunas areas de las habitaciones.

Gut, wir hatten Pech mit dem Wetter, Regen, mitten im Oktober kann das schon mal sein. Hotel aber super. Wohnung gut ausgestattet für kleines Kochen. TV mit YouTube. Strand schön. Viel Trubel am Strand, wenn die Passagiere der Kreuzfahrtschiffe unterwegs sind. Personal an der Rezeption SUPER freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Clean rooms, very nice and flexible Staff.

The staff at El Fuerte were definitely a highlight — very helpful, kind, and supportive throughout our stay. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they were clean and perfectly fine for what you’d expect at this level. There was a slight humid, musty smell at first, but it went away quickly once the AC was running. Overall, I’d rate it about 2.5 stars. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and pleasant — and I’d stay here again.

It can use a little upgrade, for the price was very good. The service was very good and food excellent .

Schoon appartement met prima keuken, met koelkast en 2 gaspitten. Direct aan het strand. Fijn balkon met 2 stoeltjes en tafeltje. Pal aan het strand met diverse restaurantjes op de looproute langs het strand.

Helaas geen kluis op de kamer aanwezig. Te weinig haakjes om kleding of handdoeken aan op te hangen. Een extra deken was fijn geweest als je slaapt met airco dan is 1 laken te koud.

Recepcionista muito eficiente e ajudou com todas as reservas e alteracoes.

Np es culpa del hotel pero fue mala experiencia por tema de sargazo, nos fuimos diariamente a Bacalar porque el olor era muy malo en la playa

Ruim appartement, goede bedden. Airco aanwezig.

Locatie was redelijk. Weinig te beleven. We zaten hier meerdere dagen ivm een duikcursus.. Keuken was aanwezig maar was matig uitgerust.

De ligging en prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Ook het personeel werkt hard en is erg vriendelijk.

Sommige kamers zijn verouderd en niet zo schoon.

Vue sur mer, mais les sargasses sont là. Les plages sont nettoyées mais ça ne suffit pas pour trouver une eau bleue très clair, il faut prendre le bateau

Free beach! After spending some time in Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Tulum, we were pleasantly surprised that you can actually go to the beach and use the beach beds without paying anything (granted you're a guest of the hotel). The beach is nice and calm with a clay-like bottom that almost feels like mud when you step on it. There is a long reef barrier that makes this "lagoon" with very warm water and no waves. Great for splashing around and paddleboarding but there is almost no visibility due to the clay on the bottom. You can venture about 100 meters to the reef and see some nice underwater life in the "actual" sea. It is quite sketchy getting there, though.

There was an issue with the gas stove not working the first day due to the gas tank being empty. This was promptly corrected the next day. Additionally, the wifi didn't work in our room, which was also promptly resolved. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator so get ready to climb some stairs.

The property is in front of the beach, the apartment had good space and a huge balcony. The restaurant below had great food and friendly staff.

The hotel and on-site staff are very nice. The beach with lounge chairs is just across the street. The hotel has a well-equipped kitchen, a great view (I stayed in the Lerici room), and a lovely balcony. In my opinion, the location doesn’t matter much since the village is small and very walkable. I also tried the restaurant downstairs—the food was excellent.

The following isn’t about the hotel, but Mahahual really needs to cut down on plastic use. It’s everywhere—plastic straws in most drinks, plastic wrapping around plates at street food stalls, and even plastic coffee cups when dining at restaurants. It’s bad. The plastic goes straight into the ocean and washes up on the beach just outside the village center.

The hotel is outdated and noisy, the rooms are very old with now recent touch, they just don’t make sense specially with the prices they charged. Not a good experience.

El hotel está frente a la playa, la cual está espectacular. El costo es un poco alto para las instalaciones que cuenta, ya que le hace falta Mantenimiento, sus blancos son viejos. La atención del personal que labora ahí es excelente, es lo que salva al hotel

The apartment is above a restaurant so it’s quite loud all day.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the entire experience. The photos online are extremely misleading and do not represent the actual state of the property. We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a three-star, but I can assure you, it couldn’t be further from the truth. To start with, nothing worked in our room. The TV was completely useless, and the internet was nonexistent. We reached out for assistance multiple times, but despite our efforts, no one was available to help us. It was incredibly frustrating to be ignored, especially when you're paying for a service that is clearly not being delivered. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. There are plenty of other options out there—do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.
