The room was clean and well setup nothing over the top, bed and pillows were comfortable.

We arrived at 9:10 starving, the dining room was closed for dining in when we got down. We could only order take out, which was good and the staff were great to deal with.

Bathroom smelled bad. Tub fills up when you shower. Overall, looks very used.

There were ONLY 2 paper cups in the room. None in the bathroom. REALLY? For what we paid - very poor facility. ALSO- for what we paid we did not get a chit for breakfast and we were not even at the hotel 12 hours. VERY POOR!

The staff at the front desk were awesome. Very accommodating. Restaurant staff were fantastic as well. Dinner was wonderful.

The price was high for a view of the roof with air conditioners. The morning staff didnt know where the closest restaurant for lunch was.

The bed was comfortable and the buffet breakfast. Loved it

Good place for a comfortable stay near the airport. Shuttle service to the airport was great, very reliable.

We had no hot water in our shower. The staff did give us another room to use to shower, and we made our flight on time. And they did give us a little discount for our trouble. We were late for breakfast because of this, and were treated a bit harshly by the staff at the restaurant as we arrived just as they were closing.

Not only is a convenient place to go and rest when you’ve had a long day of travel but the personnel, especially Ramam, is so welcoming with her great knowledge and personality, always there to help with whatever needs you need after your travel. The facilities are clean, uplifting, and relaxing. Ernie the Cook is especially great at meeting. Any dietary needs you need and always to smile on his face..

It was convenient and close to the airport with a shuttle service. Room was nice. It had a very small pool.

I had requested distilled water for a CPAP machine. I received a confirmation email saying that they could meet my request. Upon getting to the hotel, they told me they didn’t have the water and weren’t able to help me. Considering all the posted signage saying they will always make things right. It seemed like they didn’t care at all.

Not stayed here before. Had dinner - fish&chips that was somewhat below average. We had a very early morning flight which required us to get up around 2 am. We went to bed around 9 pm and around 10 pm we started hearing noise in adjacent room. Loud talking/almost yelling, loud tv, slamming doors and drawers. After about 30 minutes I called the front desk complaining-nothing improved. I waited another 15 to 20 minutes and recalled the front desk in frustration. They called the room again and the reprehensible noise finally stopped. By that time we were awake and got little sleep prior to our 2 am time to get up. You would think anyone staying in a Hilton airport hotel would behave, respect others not create bad situations as this. Of course the hotel cannot be held responsible-they eventually corrected the annoyance, apologized took 10% off my bill. I typically stay at Marriotts. They have a policy that the third strike you are out. Meaning if on the 3rd complaint the hotel will make you leave the property and no refund. Otherwise the hotel is just average. One positive aspect is that they serve dinner and offer 24 hour shuttle service to the airport.

The location and room is fine. That being said , it's the middle of nowhere. The front desk service is not good. But Even worse is the restaurant and so called bar. The service is absolutely atrocious and the food is mediocre at best. I had a cheeseburger without cheese.A mcdonald's burger would have been far better for a tenth of the price. The staff have zero concept of customer service

Checking in took too long. There was a long line and they only had one person at the desk. Someone from the office came out and joined him but she didn’t check people in. After 20 minutes she said the second desk was not working. The reason she even said something because people were getting frustrated in the line. My mother travels a lot and has gone through this hotel. Last year she lost her ring. She bought me a matching ring and wanted to know if there was a lost and found. The staff member at the desk said there was but they throw everything out after 3 months. She could have taken a picture, wrote my mother’s details down, just in case it shows up. It’s a very unique ring and has a lot of sentimental value. Perhaps, try and find the place where they throw it out? But she was very unhelpful.

Closeness to the airport as well as a shuttle to get there and back.

When I tried to check in, I was in line and turned my back for a second and the person behind me as well as the person checking people in skipped me. The manager gave us a free breakfast to help appease my displeasure. I also paid in cash however, the charge was put onto my Visa which took fixing. Also, I felt the price was extremely high. On the other end of our trip we stayed at a comparable place and location but they were not open that weekend. Their price was half of the Hilton Garden Inn and included breakfast.

I found this recently renovated Hilton Garden Inn to be better than the US versions I’ve stayed. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet. I very much enjoyed the Cannery Kitchen & Social (opened in 2023) restaurant attached to the hotel. Its new concept with updated menu was definitely a treat! And so was the indoor pool. Plus all of the hardworking employees that I met were very friendly, helpful & attentive to me.

We had to ask about a coupon for BNB breakfast. Early closing of restaurant/bar. Flying in from more remote airports in Canada, we were left with no options for someihing to eat or get a drink.

We chose the Hilton Garden Inn for our meetings due to the location close to the airport for participants flying in. We had a great experience. Sales and Events Coordinator Jai Sahni went above and beyond to look after us.

Location is great for the airport and it has a shuttle which is great. Rooms very comfortable and clean. All you need for a stay on the way to or from the airport.

Breakfast was very overpriced. We opted for buffet but the lady that was in charge of breakfast didn't replenish any food. So people that came later hardly had any choice at all. Also only that lady was in charge of the coffee. As the result we managed to have one but then when more people showed up - we never could catch her for the refill and part of our party didn't manage to get any coffee at all. She was making a lot of movements arround but witout particular outcome.

The breakfast was terrible, the tub wouldn’t drain properly and the pillows were flat. The room was clean though.

Chose this place as we were arriving in Halifax past midnight and Hilton was the closest to the airport. Shuttle arrived and departed on time, although I might be looking for a less expensive option as the shuttle services other hotels as well. Overall, a very comfortable stay but it was quite pricey considering the standard room amenities, and breakfast wasn't included.

A reasonable choice in the vicinity of the airport. Front desk staff were friendly and engaged. Routine customer satisfaction checks were conducted via text. The location seems oddly far from the airport for an airport location. Driving to Halifax is a 20min commitment on reasonable highways. Room condition was well kept but the pillow variety could have been better. I asked for firmer pillows and received more of the same soft collapsing pillows. The shower diverter leaked badly when filling the tub. Noise travels easily between rooms. The pool has no hottub. Breakfast buffet is reasonable for $25 but the competition across the parking lot has a nicer selection. Overall, a comfortable experience. Large parking lot.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly, and I liked that it’s close to the airport. The shuttle service to and from the airport was really convenient, and the attached restaurant was also very good. A special shoutout to Abhay at the front desk he was very friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely stay here again.

I had to assign a numberand that is the only reason it's a one star review, they should have a zero choice available. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Halifax Airport on April 20th 2026 to catch a 6 am flight to Punta Cana......I have never had an experience like this before !!! I've stayed in $5 a night hostels while traveling around the world and never had blood / semen stained sheets on my bed. Hilton Garden Inn should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen, perhaps they should look at training their staff properly so this will never happen again. I was totally disgusted as I slept on these sheets because I had turned the lights out before I got into bed !! I advised the front desk clerk at 3 am checkout and when I called the Manager upon my return from my vacation he told me he was never informed or sent the photos that I have attached. The Manager of this hotel should not be in Management he has absolutely no skills in how to handle customer complaints.....very unprofessional !! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!

This hotel is ok. The pool is small, the bar and restaurant are also small. Next door there’s another Hilton (literally steps away) that has free breakfast with a much bigger dining area. The pros about this hotel is that the rooms are comfortable and modern. You can stream tv from a variety of apps if you have log ins and the wifi is fast and reliable. The check out time of 12:00 is also great. The main reason I can’t give more than a 3 out of 5 is on a previous stay with co workers attending for business one of them was woken up past midnight by someone trying to get into her room. They banged and shouted and were able to open the door but were stopped from entering by the engaged secondary lock. When she finally was able to call the front desk to report it there was no answer and within minutes someone tried to get into again. She was screaming and called us for help as we were all on the same floor. We discovered that they had double booked the room and they had given another person arriving late a key for her room. Thankfully nothing happened to her and she had the secondary lock engaged but it could have been a very dangerous situation to give someone access to an already occupied room while that person slept. The next day she got nothing more than and “oh sorry that was a mistake” they really didn’t take any accountability for how scared she was and that she wasn’t able to fully rest for the remainder of the night.

Bathroom was old. Low toilet, bath with un adjustable shower head aimed at wall. One very hard armchair and a rolling desk chair. Room was smal,l reserved a king bed and got 2 queen beds. And fire alarm going off at midnight for 45 minutes one night.

I stayed 13 nights at your hotel and loved it. The one girl at the front desk I forgot her name ( eat Indian a bit short, sorry)but she was working the afternoon till 11 pm on may 7, she really made my stay amazing; she was kind, very helpful, her customer service is excellent. The shuttle drives Greg and Yousef were amazing, their customer service goes above and beyond they are so attentive and helpful and kind, older fellow with hat is a crazy driver and very impatient sane goes for younger fellow with turban

Our team was stuck in YHZ for an extra evening. Amarpreet handled all our check-ins with ease and the best service! We really felt taken care of after a very hard day! She’s awesome!

Fire alarm going off just before midnight, and having to go outside for 45 min not great. Seemed to be no reason,and no explanation. It took hours to go back to sleep.
