I liked that it was very close to the airport, the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

They did not have rooms with showers, only bathtubs were available. I asked for a plastic mat to put inside of the bathtub and they didn't have one either. They gave me an extra towel to use in lieu of the mat. Bathtubs are not easy to get in when you are an older person with mobility issues.

Our room was in the basement. While there was signage that renovations were happening, it wasn’t in our area. Everything was clean, just very dated.

Hallways are being refurbished so will be improved but carpets are filthy. No recycling facilities- breakfast is available but it’s all paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery with no recycling bins.

Very close to Halifax airport, this hotel provides a wonderful locale for stays before or after flights. It has an understated food facility - the evening pub food and drink offerings are quite good and the pub interior is quirky, with a charming personality. Both the hotel staff and the pub staff were wonderful - outstanding actually - in terms of personality and professionalism. The included morning breakfast is 'self serve' in the pub space, and offers a great variety of Canadian standards: eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast. The beds and bedding were excellent, and the rooms were very quiet despite the hotel being quite full and close to aircraft.

Renovations were going on at the time - so I'm willing to make allowance for some of the aesthetic challenges. But some details need attention: our room entry door and the bathroom door were very squeaky, enough to be heard many rooms away, as were other room's doors. A little machine oil would return quiet to this otherwise well sound-proofed building.

Bedding was so creased, did not give a good impression of the hotel. A bar staff member was 'tired' and tried to charge us for 6 beers when we had 4 and when we questioned it, it went to 8???? We paid for 4. Breakfast was cold, the toaster was from the last century.

Little outdated. Toilet and sink being in separate rooms is awkward. Hallways under construction. Pub was understaffed.

Great to have the shuttle service to and from the airport and a place close to the airport after a long flight.

The included breakfast was adequate but not exciting.

Hotel is in the middle of a renovation (repainting). Most stairs were not accessible.

The lady that checked us in was wonderful. It was close to the airport, but not enough to get a higher score. The breakfast was not that great for the price of the room.

The cleaning could be better, but it could be that the hallways are disgusting and stink when you walk through. Removing those carpets might be an idea and put new ones down.

Vriendleijk personeel. We mochten onze koffers al vroeg in onze kamer zetten. Onze kinderen vlogen in de avond naar huis ( wij pas de volgende ochtend) zij mochten douchen op onze kamer, wij kregen extra handdoeken voor hun en ze mochten met de shuttlebus naar de luchthaven. Restuarant was leuk en we hebben daar nog lekker gegeten.

Weinig. We vonden het bed wat klein. We hebben liever een groot bed.

The tv could have worked. It didn’t. I had to keep my hand pressed down on the coffee maker for it to work, but hey, it worked!

Even with all facilities they offer for people travelling i still find it quite pricey. Breakfast could improve as well.

the hotel was very convenient and had a shuttle to airpoirt... the room was clean and neat with a king size bed, which we had missed having in other places on our travels! The hotel was dated with decor but good for the night before flying out. The breakfast was adequate with ?eggs and large link sausage.

The breakfast was really bad. The food was pretty bad and not refilled once empty. The garbages were overflowing and everything seemed dirty.

Das Frühstück war , bei rustikalen Ambiente, ausreichend und gut. Die Lage dicht am Flughafen war ideal.

Alles. Das Hotel ist abgenutzt und eigentlich eine Baustelle. Es ist alles abgewohnt, teilweise verrostet und kaputt. Wasserschäden an den Wänden. Das Frühstück ist eine Frechheit. Keine Auswahl & die wird nicht nachgefüllt.

Bathroom towels poorest quality I have ever had in a hotel, I have travelled extensively all over the world . Hotel is worn out, but I heard they are building a new one.

it's unfortunate that they use plastic cutlery at the Breakfast buffet there are so many better recyclable options

The room stunk

Sehr nettes Personal, gute Erreichbarkeit mit dem kostenfreien Shuttlebus vom Flughafen. Den konnten auch am nächsten Tag in Anspruch nehmen um am Flughafen unser Mietauto abzuholen. Nett war auch die Bar, um noch ein Bier zu trinken.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Ist zwar bestimmt wegen der Aircondition, aber so riecht es leider auch in dem Zimmer und in den Gängen. Toilettentür ließ sich nicht komplett schließen ( hat geklemmt) und das Frühstück war absolut unterstes Niveau… Pappteller, Plastikbesteck, Marmelade abgepackt, Becher für den schlechtesten Kaffee überhaupt; also Unmengen von Müll. Kein Käse, keine Wurst…

Couldn't shut the door to the room without slamming it shut or body checking waking the baby up every time. The staff probly could of atleast put rolls of tolite paper where they go had to steel some from somewhere else. It looks like my toddler did the drywall mudding in the room. I figured where it cost 303$ a night plus a 100$ damage deposit that no one said anything about intill check in so that was 400$ into one night at the worst hotel iv ever stayed at i was expecting much better quality for the price

The property is not bad considering where it is. The grounds have grass and it has an indoor and outdoor pool. There is also a cute little restaurant right in the hotel. The food was fine.

It’s a bit messy outside. They are doing some upgrades inside and out but there is a problem with damp in the hotel and on our floor there was a dehumidifier running 24/7.

Pratique, bien pensé, répond au besoin d’un hôtel près de l’aéroport. Le restaurant du soir est de qualité. L’établissement est un peu dans son jus, mais cela reste très correct.

Le petit déjeuner, dont la qualité est très mauvaise. Même le café est meilleur dans la chambre.

While trying to sleep we heard an air conditioner that was very loud from another room. This made it very difficult to sleep. We will not go back to this hotel.

Close to the airport with shuttle to get us there and back. Rooms were clean and it was very quiet. The Restaurant was awesome and food was delicious. We had a very early flight and therefore had to miss breakfast.

Ein typisches Flughafenhotel mit nettem Personal, das aber die beste Zeit hinter sich hat.

Das Hotel hatte mit einer Email auf das besonders tolle Frühstück hingewiesen, das konnte allerdings nur ein Scherz sein.

Help full stuff, I broke my arm en I got a sling from the Front desk. Near the airport, free shuttle.

The material around the sink hides the fact that it hasn't been cleaned properly. The sheets on the bed are crumpled; I don't mind that, but it gives the impression that they have already been slept in. The hallways have not yet been renovated. We slept in a section where you had to take a flight of stairs after using the elevator. Not convenient with a broken wrist.

Rooms were clean & the bed was comfortable. Nice having the restaurant open for our later arrival. We both had salads which were very good! They fo offer a shuttle to & from the airport. We will be staying here again at the end when heading home.

It is an older hotel which is in the process of being renovated. So not bad or not great. Bathroom sink was a separate room with tge toilet & tub/shower were together.

Very poor breakfast. Ended up eating a bowl of lucky charms and cup of coffee. Very expensive stay in a dated hotel.

The hotel was falling apart... baseboards ripped off of hallways and decaying drywall in our room. The iron holder came right out of the wall when I tried to take the iron out and it was clear from the number of holes in the drywall it was not the first time. The room was musty and stinky, the shower was a trickle and the towels were threadbare. It was SEVERELY overpriced for the condition. Oh, and breakfast rolled out at 5:45 instead of the advertised 5:30.

The room was so dirty. No one vacuumed the floor, especially under the bed. Disgusting.

Proximity to the airport is fantastic, long-term parking was fairly priced and very convenient.

Rooms desperately need a renovation. Some fixtures didn’t work, bathroom faucet leaked, generally looks tired.

The stuff is great. Location excellent. Shattle very convenient and with good frequency. The restaurant was good with fair prices.

We arrived around 1:30, after a delay in our flight. We went to take a shower & there was brown rust coming out of the taps. We had to run the water for 30 min to be sure it was going to stay clear. The showerhead was broken, most of the water went out through one hole. The showerhead flopped around, it could not be repositioned. In the morning, after breakfast, we went to brush our teeth & discovered there was no water. Apparently, it was shut off from 10 - 3 for maintenance. We had no warning & were not offered bottled water. We had to buy bottled water to brush our teeth & take our suplements. We did not stay our second night & the hotel did approve us getting our money back from booking.com.

The airport shuttle came very quickly after we called it and also took us back to the airport on time in the morning. The hotel is just a 5 minute drive from the airport. The room was decent and the bathroom even had a bathtub.

The breakfast could be disappointing if you are more used to European hotel breakfasts. It would also be nice to have more lamps in the room as it was somewhat dark.

this hotel worked perfectly for a 18 hour stop over between flight flights. Their Shuttle system was good, they are very close to the airport. Rooms was very quiet and bedding was nice.

Hotel was old and needs updating, had a ceiling leak and smelt moldy.in the halls. Room was as far away as you could get in the basement. Could only take the luggage cart half way as stairs were mid way down hall. Complimentary breakfast was what you expect for being free. Room was dated and small with drywall patches all over the walls.
