The heat pump wouldn’t work which was a bit poor seeing it’s a cold place and snowing at night
Facilities
It had a loud humming sound coming from an air conditioner unit which was hard to block out couldn’t sleep as a result
Room comfy and clean.
Cooked Breakfast was not up to scratch
Accessible to Queenstown. Good parking
A bit dated. Noisy some evenings.
Warm, cosy atmosphere at the bar and fireplace. Spa and gym facilities. Large rooms
Nothing.
Pequeno Almoço ao vivo divinal
Breakfast was great, beds and pillows comfortable, location was good 3 min drive into town, staff were all happy and willing to help.
Our room wasn’t serviced until 4-5pm everyday which was annoying as we were getting back from the ski fields wanting to get ready and go to dinner. We refused the service one afternoon as we just wanted the room.
Very comfortable, staff were goood and friendly.
Too far from central Queenstown. Had to navigate hill on the way back
Very nice room and close to city
The staff were awesome! No complaints- they were always super kind, helpful and lovely Really couldn't ask for better service Very picturesque
The rooms were cold, drafty, old and outdated The beds were super uncomfortable with lumpy springs felt on the bed and two sides of a bed being about 5cm different in height The staff came and did the rooms at 5pm when we asked for earlier attendance as we were there for a conference and needed to get changed for the evening events that time The carpet was warn and dirty The hair dryer was useless The spa was luke warm Everything there to make it appear nice but actually done on the cheap
Location and views
Spa and sauna
It is very dry air inside the room
Very comfy beds - nice quality linen, easy parking and good breakfast/bar area. Overall the hotel is starting to look a little tired BUT still feels premium with good-quality finishes. Would be transformed with a lick of paint!
Staff were fine but not great, especially at check-in. Very perfunctory, not very welcoming.
Great, affordable rooms. Cozy, quiet, comfortable.
We were not offered any support when we were not able to access our stay on the first night due to a weather event which almost washed us and our car away and wholly prohibited access to the hotel.
I loved how warm, welcoming and homely the property felt. The comfortable beds, beautiful views, spa, sauna, pool and gym were all amazing, and the little touches like complimentary water, chocolates and the welcome note made our stay feel extra special. The location and parking were also really convenient.

The view
No microwave. :(
Location and service
Parking
Service was on point. Great location, bus stop across the road to take you into town or to the airport. Breakfast was a great range. Dinner was fabulous with the beef cheek so tender!
Huge bed and clean room
Had booked an alpine view but was given a room with a bush view and had to put our head over the balcony to see the alpine. Not the view I was expecting. Was further away from town than expected and not a lot of onsite parking options but the staff were friendly and room was clean.

The sauna was the best part of the stay! It was a great treat for a winter visit to Queenstown. Great facilities, walking distance to town although we mostly took Uber (taxi is more expensive).
It would have been better if the cleaning of hot tub was scheduled at a time when the pool is closed, and not in the morning for the guests who like to enjoy it before leaving the hotel.
Breakfast was lovely, rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable
Complimentary umbrellas
Charging $15/night for car parking Beds way too soft
Nice cozy room and had some kind of a view. Lovely breakfast and staff were lovely and accommodating.
For the price I wish there were bathtub or something in the room. Outdoor spa wasnt as warm. Thats just my personal preferences I gues!!
The check in was easy, parking was good. Room was huge and a decent view over the lake
Probably a touch outdated with the interior
Excellent
Loved the heritage vibe of the hotel & its architecture, our room was spacious & peaceful, staff were pleasant to deal with!
Bed was very soft, some of the amenities were old, TV had no Netflix.
Stayed for 3 nights in a one bed room apartement in July. The apartment was very large and comfortable, was great to have own kitchen facilities, table and lounge chairs. During our stay we used the gym area including sauna. Gym room was small but had enough if one a couple of people were working out, which was the case for when we used it. Sauna was good and modern. The walk into town was easy enough, better than staying in the town centre which was always busy with foot and vehicle traffic.
For the apartments it would be great if a clothes washing machine could be in the room. There are coin laundry facilties available in the car parks but we did not use them.
architecture, parking
Wish the pool spa and sauna were indoors
Hotel is older but very well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. 20 minute walk into town but lovely views coming down the hill.
Had a few meals from the restaurant and almost all were missing a component from the description (olives on the hummus plate, bread with the salad, etc.).
Staff went the extra mile for us. Breakfast was great value and much enjoyed
Good location can walk into town or uber. Pool & spa area is great. Bar with fireplace very nice and relaxing.
Restaurant menu limited and very long wait for meals. $15 a night for parking seemed steep on top of room price.
Clean
Lakeside view is truely unbeatable
Car park fee
location was nice , managed to get uncover parking, staff were helpful and polite
.Room was very outdated .Bathroom felt like stepping back 20 years .Kids running up and down the hallway echoed in room. .Room service had a $5.00 charge on every item (order 3 items cost to deliver $15.00). .Included breakfast was not nice food .Restaurant Food overpriced .Undercover parking was $15.00 per night on top of room and was not guaranteed. .Washroom was old machines running on coin system and cloths were not clean afterwards
Super friendly staff, we were upgraded to a lakeview room. They couldnt do enough for us! Sauna is great and breaky great too
Short walk to main center square.
Freezing rooms. Average service. Basic hotel room amenities were missing- no slippers, non functional hair dryer, poor check in process, reception desk doesn’t answer calls.. dirty outdated rooms. No room service at night.
清洁卫生,服务周到
这个价格不含早餐,有些不应该,桑拿房里没有加水的工具,温度升不上去
Nice quiet hotel, lovely staff and location. Beautiful breakfasts thank you!
Good location, quiet & clean
Parking is extra charge
Beautiful location, walking distance from Queenstown.
Nil
No frills, basic, does the job, at that price not good value for money
Room service was cold, some staff were not helpful and short, sharp and autonomous. Almost like reading from a script and not listening to the issues you raise.
Our meal in the restaurant was superb. Our room was upgraded with a terrific view. Warm and comfortable.
Most beautiful view I’ve ever had. Property was clean and kept clean and everything was perfect!
Loved it!had a beautiful sleep amazing views it was sensational that il be back to stay again! The staff were awesome very friendly and helpful 😀 Breakfast was amazing and i was really satisfied to start my day!
Very clean and quiet.
Nothing it was perfect
Good spacious rooms
We had a lakeside room. The view was spectacular. We were located on the 4th floor, up a small stair case, but well worth the room and the view.
We love walking onto Queenstown, but returning to Rendezvous, the last 600m up the steep hill was tiring (that's a me problem, bot related to the hotel.
Everything
Nothing
The rooms were very well appointed and big, as was the bathroom. Staff in dining and bar very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Breakfast staff efficient and friendly.
This isn't a 4 star facility because it's not centrally heated and we had to walk between buildings to get to the main dining room and common areas. This required umbrellas during rain and it was freezing. The dining area was completely closed one evening for a conference and guests had to get into town or hibernate in 'barracks' instead of having access to the common areas/open fire place. This was extraordinary and we've travelled a lot and never experienced anything like it before. We were cold most of the time in the hallways and the room didn't really heat up until after 8pm. Despite split system air-conditioning we felt there was a central controlling unit keeping the heating down (to save costs?). No, not good.
excellent and quiet location, close to CBD; professional and respectful staff
Nothing I did not like ... Keep up the good job !
Breakfast was amazing definitely worth the money if I can give any suggestion it would be maybe some more variety of fruit. Other than that it was perfect.
Pillow was a little hard but my fault for not asking for another one
Beautiful view from the balcony. Close enough to town to walk but out of the hustle and bustle.
The stove in our apartment was a bit hard to use, but we managed in the end.
The breakfast was delicious and excellent staff. We received great service here.
Unfortunately our room was situated next to the road so we could hear the traffic in the evening. We could also hear noises from the room on top of us, but this stopped after 1030pm and the reception were going to let them know to be quiet if it continued. The bed was way too plush. I wanted to order a coffee but the coffee machine wasn't working and they were going to charge an extra $5 for the tray (why?) So it would have cost in excess of $10 to get a coffee delivered to the room.
