Warm clean & dry
Nothing
Service, comfort, food, views everything about the place was comforting
Pool not being heated. Would be an awesome fearure in a cold place like Queenstown
The staff were very helpful, friendly, and courteous, The rooms were very clean and comfortable, Breakfast selection was outstanding
There was nothing to dislike at all except for the $15 per night parking fee.
The view! Spectacular!
The view of lake very nice.
That we were on the far end of motel
We had a Great Lake view
We paid for the breakfast buffet but the breakfast was absolutely disgusting any worst and I’d believe it wouldn’t be safe for human consumption so we had to uber in town and pay for breakfast every day as the hotel’s breakfast was disgustingly bad also on the list of things in our room it was said smart tv once we arrived the tv wasn’t working couldn’t connect or do anything and we mentioned it to reception and they stated it’s just the way it is
Gorgeous views and very hospitable for a couple with a toddler

Warm and reasonably comfortable
Value for money. Having to pay for parking.
Some of the staff were lovely, and helpful.
The food was expensive, poor quality and tastless.
The location and views were perfect! The staff were fantastic.
The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable.
Location was amazing! Friendly staff, great size rooms!
fantastic location and view
Location of the hotel
Very upsetting that we had to pay the parking The time we came back to hotel there was no street parking available plus at the top of that location its very hard to walk that long. That was so upsetting paying for the hotel so much and than we had to pay for the parking.
There’s a nice view from the restaurants
Still pretty close to the town centre however the hotel is high up a hill so not an easy walk.
Big hotel with normal facilities associated with it's size.
You pay a premium price in Queenstown and Mecure is probably more on the budget size. The hotel is tired and worn. Beds are good and room adequate for the money, but tired. If you were wanting to impress your significant other this is not the choice. Essentially you get what you pay for. My room was next to lift and very noisy due to that. Views however are faultless.
Food at both restaurant and breakfast was awesome
Wifi was very slow and dropped a lot
Our room with lake view was really good. The breakfast was good. The property is maintained to a good standard.
The lift feels a bit old and tired. The carpet flooring and the wallpaper coverings on the walls in the room also look old and tired. Paying for parking each day was disappointing.
Room was comfy
Noisy - we can clearly hear people in the corridor, I guess when they walking outside they can hear us too. Bathroom looks outdated
Excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff, clean, warm and safe. Great base for exploring Queenstown and surroundings. Everything was as hoped for or more. Definitely recommend.
The room service menu could use a bit more variety, sanitary bins were not present in our bathroom.
The view from this place is amazing
The heater wasn't working, and toilet was not flushing and the sink was filling up to top and the water was getting stuck which was very annoying
Fast and easy to check in. Very friendly staff.
Only View was ok and we paid $300 for view
Carpet was really Dirty, Washroom doesn't have lock, Washroom glass was not screw from bottom
Amazing location and views. Comfortable rooms and good facilities to utilise within hotel itself
The photos of the room showed clean, modern, and well-maintained facilities. However, the room we were allocated was quite dated, and the carpet was not clean. The actual condition of the room did not match the standard presented in the advertised photos.
Lake view and room was spacious for family of four.
You have to pay for parking even if you are stay at the hotel.
Lovely view Nice breakfast
Rooms very dated Bird poo all over the window Shower very average Having to pay to park in hotel car park
The view
Old elevator and old bathroom
The restaurant food and downstairs lounge and fire
Room was out dated, lamp stained and damaged, bathroom door old, service no towels on one day, no soap on arrival, noisy in hallway no keep quiet signs. No shuttle to town and had to pay for out door for parking on site and then again in town each time
It was a stunning hotel in a great location, room was huge, had an incredible view, cocktails and food were exceptional, wish we could have stayed longer
Nothing
Close to town and restaurant food was very good!
The bathroom was aged! The bathroom looked horrible! The grout between the tiles had black mould!
The amazing staff worked with my partner and organized a beautiful proposal. Could not be more grateful!!!
Near by town
No water and tv entertainment is not good
Great Lake and mountain views, large room with a really comfortable bed
Poor wifi.
Very nice view from my window

Love the views from the dinning room, also enjoyed the fireplace near the bar.
We didn’t like the Smell of Curry around the restaurant bar and reception for the 2 days of our stay. It was very strong.
Location and view
Quite
Clean room, comfortable bed & the views were amazing.
Not the best soundproofing, could hear chairs scraping in the morning during the breakfast rush on ground level beneath us. And there was a loud noise coming from the lift a few doors down that we would hear every now & then but it was all day & night long. Could also hear the voices in the room next door through the walls. But our biggest let down was that the tv’s are only compatible with android phones which meant we couldn’t watch tv to watch a movie when we wanted to relax after a long day out.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning views overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains. The location was convenient and close enough to Queenstown to easily explore the area, while still being away from the busy town centre. We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning, which offered a good variety of food and was a great way to start the day.
I recently stayed at Mercure Resort Queenstown and unfortunately there were several aspects of the stay that were disappointing. The bedding provided was very thin, which made it difficult to stay warm and comfortable during the colder Queenstown weather. The lighting in the room was also quite dim, making the space feel dark and making it difficult to read or get ready in the evenings. The TV options were limited, with no suitable channels available for children to watch. In addition, both the Wi-Fi and mobile phone reception were very poor throughout our stay, which made it difficult to stay connected. Housekeeping was also below expectations. While used towels were removed, the rubbish bins were not emptied and the room was not vacuumed during servicing. The location and views were great, but improvements to room comfort, connectivity, entertainment options, and housekeeping would make a significant difference to the guest experience.
The location is convenient
It is cold in the room despite using the air conditioner at night. The duvet is very thin, see through thin. I had to ask for hot water bottle. Things were not topped up (sanitary bags, tea bags after the room cleaning). I understand that we need to save the planet, but some were running out and not replaced.
I loved it
Nothing
Location was perfect - just out of the town center so close to uber , clean tidy all you could ask for :)
The only thing was that the tv didnt have much chanel selection and only had screen mirroring options. Would be great to log into netflix or something. But not a major !
Beds were comfortable. They were able to provide fresh milk instead of UHT. Staff were polite.
Overall the resort seems tired, could do a revamp. Bathroom was very small. Cleaners lacked attention to detail.
It was clean and comfortable. Great view from our room
It’s a bit aged ,The carpet is old and dirty
Awesome view
Great location and good value for money. The complimentary sauna facility was a nice bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable.
The ocean view is very good. Quite spacious.
Lighting in the room isn't adequate. Needs to pay for parking. The shower gel runs out in the bottle and I realised during the shower so needs to ask my husband to run to reception but they couldn't provide us immediately. But when I spoke to manager in the morning, they provided us the wine bar vouchers and apology letter for the inconvenience.
The view was good , but far from the town .
Had to pay for parking in the hotel , even after paying so much for the room .
Everything was fine except the bathroom and bedsheets
Bedsheets had blood on them, the bath had scum on it, the non slip mat was old and discolored, and there wa rubbish from the previous guest. Also had to pay for parking
The views
The lifts
The breakfast buffet was nothing wow. Bit pricey for what you get. The view of our room was spectacular.
The shower leaked on both sides so our floors were wet and needed to have towels as bath mats to soak it up.
Location and staff
Breakfast buffet
Location, food
Rooms need refurb. Not the cleanest. Bathroom shower awful
The room is well organized, clean and comfortable.
Once there I was told those beautiful tables around the bar was not available simply because we were guests in the hotel, they were actually part of a separate service, so we could not use them. Also told that I could drink water from the bathroom sink, which does not sound like a "resort" experience at all (in my own house I have filtered water, so I would of course expect something better in a "resort"). There is no parking spots for quests, so we needed to park in the street.
Loved the view from bar & dining room and the food. Loved the great service.
Room was a long way from lift exit.
One of the staffs not so accommodating, not friendly that makes me feel intimidated.
