The property was tidy but in need of an update.

Clean and tidy, but some reviews indicated issues like an unpleasant smell and a dripping noise in one room.

Breakfast options were praised, though some guests suggested improvements.

Several guests reported disappointing breakfast items (oily potato scone) and concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness and food quality; one pub across the road received positive mention, but overall F&B is an area needing improvement.

Multiple comments praise the price–performance and value; rooms often described as better than expected for the price, supporting a strong value score.
