Unfortunately, there are a lot of incorrect and exaggerated ratings for places in Vietnam. This can be confusing and misleading. Palm Beach is a truly legendary hotel that lives up to its rating. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly; their sense of calm rubs off on you. Throughout the few days we stayed there, we kept wishing we had set aside more time for it. For a hotel of this caliber, it is surprisingly reasonable with pricing—none of that price-gouging you often see. All the restaurants and the minibar are priced close to what you’d pay outside, even the magnificent spa. The beach and the sand are so beautiful, they look like something straight out of a Windows desktop wallpaper. Stay here; it’s worth it.

It’s hard to get a clear idea from the photos when choosing a room, so you’re left wondering whether to pick a garden unit, a second-floor room, or a villa. I’d recommend choosing a spot that overlooks the pool or the sea—though the other options are quite nice, too.

Well taken care of, gives vacation vibes and it’s not loud. The beach area is nice and the room was comfortable

Had a leaking air conditioner

We liked everything about the property; it has a private beach and is super clean, suitable for children to swim because the waves are calm. The staff are friendly and super helpful; we will remember Mr. Thi, who gave my son a small tour, taught him how to climb a coconut tree, and made him so excited that he will always remember it.

The breakfast could be better, but the coffee tastes good.

Location is perfect with a number of options on site and off site.Breakfast seems to cover most peoples needs.

Superb location on the coast. Sea was fantastic lovely sand quick drop off in the water. Resort itself is outstanding with wonderful facilities etc and staff are excellent. We booked a suite for our 30th wedding anniversary but unfortunately I didn't realise there were stairs no good for my wife. The suite was excellent beach front etc. After a quick chat with the staff they moved to a single level option also beach front and that was also excellent. We were so pleased and grateful for the swap and no fuss approach. Would highly recommend this resort. We will be back!!

Beautiful resort on the beach. Sea is lovely to swim in and clean. Breakfast is amazing. Room is huge! Staff are so friendly. A short taxi ride to Hoi A but the shuttle bus is there too. Spa is worth it. So relaxing. Great location and facilities.

Pool is very warm but that’s just part of being in a hot climate. But don’t expect a refreshing dip. Gym could do with some tlc but has all the stuff you need.

Breakfast was amazing..so many options! Spa facility great…had the best mud wrap experience I’ve ever had! Staff at beach bar for happy hour were so happy!

Perfect location on a nice beach and calm, warm sea... Beautiful outdoor area with big and beautiful swimming pool, a lot of grassy space, enough sunbeds for everybody, free bikes, wonderful breakfast, Super-fast and steady WIFI across the whole hotel-area incl. beach, few shopping, eating and massage possibilities across the street. Some tourist activities every day, free for everybody, kids club, gym, ping-pong etc.….

Posizione , spiaggia ,cura giardini e colazione .

La Piscina andrebbe sistemata,non sembra all’altezza della struttura. Alcune piastrelle fuori posto e acqua troppo calda . Un idromassaggio non funzionante . Porta del bagno camera a vetri non ideale perché arrivava luce nella notte.

Todo!! El complejo es increíble. Limpio no le falta detalle. Las personas que trabajan en el hotel agradables y se es esfuerzan por ayudarte. La playa en el mismo hotel con tumbonas. Buffet desayuno el mejor que he estado comida de todo tipo. A 12 minutos del centro. Con grab por 4 euros. Repetiría sin duda!!

Perfect stay for families. We thank the team a special thank to Mr. Thi, coconut man, who is kind and funny and made our stay special and lovely.

We loved our bungalow on the beachfront. Perfect location to relax. Had everything we needed to unwind. The sunrise from our bedroom was amazing!

The pool was a little tired and needed an upgrade

Hele fijne plek! Lieve mensen, goed onderhouden. Bijzonder goed ontbijt, heel uitgebreid en lekker. Mooi strand. Fijn dat de badmeester handdoeken gewoon weghaalt aan het zwembad als mensen er niet zitten. Ook als het druk is heerst er een rustige sfeer.

Eigenlijk niks. Wellicht kan de shuttle naar Hoi An vaker gaan. Verder niks op aan te merken.

Le cadre, son emplacement avec son jardin magnifique, son spa. Le prêt de vélo et le buffet du matin.

L’insonorisation des chambres. Nous étions dans la 837, avec une porte d’accès condamnée avec la chambre voisine. Menuiseries qui ferment mal et travaux juste à côté. Personnel de chambre bruyant par moment.

Low rise Bungalow apartments suited our style of holiday. Great happy hour drinks late afternoon at beach. Very friendly staff. Especially the assistant manager Mr Thien. Good size resort , large enough for plenty of room but still intimate. Shops and small restaurants across road if you decide not to eat at resort

The bar next to the restaurant was lovely, comfortable and relaxing. The pool bar area was also nice, we enjoyed having food and drinks there, comfy seating. Staff all very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good - good selection and well cooked, really enjoyed the egg station. Coffees were excellent.

First room we were allocated on arrival was not what we booked, overlooking a busy main road & building works - we'd booked 'garden view', it certainly wasn't! The rooms could do with an update & had to plug the kettle in under the desk as no other socket & bathroom privacy is non-existent, just a wooden screen that you can hear, see and smell everything through! Pool was biggest let down, very dirty, needs a lot of repairs, broken tiles, holes, weeds etc. Looked good from a distance, but up close was pretty grim.

Très bonne expérience dans cet hôtel. Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans la villa avec piscine privée vue sur la plage. La vue est magnifique et le calme garanti. Tout le confort y est et les enfants sont libres d’aller entre la piscine et la plage. Nous avons diné plusieurs fois au resto la carte est excellente et le service est vraiment aux petits soins. L’accès a la ville de hoi an est tres facile en « grab » l’equivalent du uber. L’acceuil du staff est lui aussi assez incroyable. Un clin d’oeil pour Mister THI qui est allé ceuillir la coconut et nous a ramené des mangues delicieuses. Enfin, le petit dejeuner etait top du choix mais aussi de la qualité de de tous les produits. On ne peut que conseiller pour votre sejour dans cette region superbe.

Franchement rien a redire

Belle et grande plage avec suffisamment de transats. Très beau resort avec un buffet de petit déjeuner fabuleux. Personnel très souriant et sympathiques !

La douche un peu mal conçue, sans porte donc l'eau déborde pas mal.

Tutto! Posizione, cura dei dettagli. Staff sempre Presente e cordiale. Qualità del cibo ottima se non di più. Camere sempre pulite e profumate.

L'emplacement proche de la mer et de cette belle plage de sable. Lea propreté et les aménagements ( piscine, logement, ect). Et le petit déjeuner, vraiment très bien achalandé, et de très nombreux choix ( sale ,sucré, européen et vietnamien)

Le rapport qualité prix des restaurants, et le personnel des restaurants qui, je trouve, n'est pas au niveau du standing voulu des restaurants. Attention déception des plats italien proposé ! Attention au mini bar!! L'eau de base en.boiteille plastique à l'intérieur est payante et ce n'est pas clairement expliqué. Mais celle en dehors, belle bouteille en verre est gratuite. Et comme il ne vous informe pas de jours en jours de se qu'ils pensent que vous avez consommé... mauvaise surprise au moment de régler la facture.

In het zwembad zat te veel koper waardoor een aantal mensen groen haar kregen. Dat is er in de spa wel weer uitgewassen, maar daardoor niet meer gezwommen. Aan de zuid kant wordt een Marriot Hotel gebouwd, daar kan je last hebben van bouw geluiden.

Très beau complexe hôtelier à la bonne taille, une esthétique très réussie ave un souci du détail, parc paysager très agréable. Petit-déjeuner gargantuesque, lits et draps vraiment très confortables. Accueil chaleureux.

Everything! Booked without much thought based on some other reviews and it exceeding all expectations.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr gepflegte und schöne Gartenanlage. Alles sehr sauber. Coconut Man pflückt von den hoteleigenen Palmen frische Kokosnüsse. Angenehme Gästezusammensetzung (hierher kommt man nicht um Party zu machen - wenn einem danach ist, erreicht man Da Nang aber auch in 30min mit dem Taxi). Gute Lage - am Strand, aber trotzdem ist Hoi An City schnell erreicht. An der Straße vor dem Hotel gibt es kleinere Restaurants, Mini-Märkte für den Einkauf, SPA/Friseur, Rollerverleihe und der Hafen, um zu den Charm Islands zu fahren ist auch nur 10min Autofahrt entfernt.

Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe finden will: Aufgrund der vorgelagerten Wellenbrecher keine Wellen - für Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder zum Chillen auf der Luftmatratze aber natürlich besser. Die Anlage ist und wird gut gepflegt, aber man kann hier und da schon sehen, dass es sie schon länger gibt. Wir fanden es aber nicht störend, obwohl wir den Vergleich zu ganz neuen 5 Sterne Hotels in Vietnam haben.

Biggest bed ever slept in. Beautiful beach and great pool. Breakfast was delicious and staff so friendly. The outdoor restaurant near beach was great although would have preferred more local cuisine offerings. Close distance to old town by car. Free bicycles available. Super helpful organising a tour with private driver for us. Free tea and juice every afternoon

We came to Palm Garden last year with 20 ladies and loved it so much we came back this year with 16 ladies. Will definitely be back next year. Such a beautiful and peaceful resort and so close to Hoi An The staff are beautiful and so helpful

Top hotel and ver friendly staff

We enjoyed a brilliant 6 night stay with teenage kids. Breakfast was excellent and the evening beach front bar and restaurant were fantastic for Happy Hour cocktails and relaxed evening dining. The beach front was nice (despite construction on both sides) and the sea was lovely & safe for swimming. The pool area is a little tired in places but the gardens are lovely and the overall resort vibe is very relaxed. The staff were great, particularly Mr Thian who served us with a warm smile most days and Mr Thi - the famous Coconut Man- who taught the kids how to climb coconut trees and pull fresh coconuts from the trees…as well as bringing us plates of fresh mango to enjoy! It’s rare to find a resort this lovely and affordable for families.

We spent three wonderful days at Palm Garden in Hoi An, taking a relaxing break during our journey from northern to southern Vietnam. The resort is beautiful and absolutely worth recommending. Everything was spotless (being in Vietnam), and the staff were hardworking, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. But above all, the true “six-star” of the resort is Mr. Thi. Energetic, cheerful, and welcoming from the very first day, he made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. My three kids adored him and his positive attitude — he truly made our experience unforgettable.

We had a beautiful large family suite which was even better than the website photos! A pleasant surprise when we arrived. The facilities, pool, beach and restaurants were all incredible. Wonderful buffet breakfast with every option you could imagine. Mr Trung was a really good bellman!! Excellent service.

Had such a wonderful stay at the Palm Garden beach resort. There was plenty of time to rest by the beautiful beach and get involved in activities around Hoi An. Our family especially loved the bike tour that was taken by Mr Vy and cooking class at a local home. Mr Vy was very welcoming and made our stay exceptional. We even learned to play pickleball with him! Thank you Mr Vy!

What a wonderful holiday we have had in Hoi A staying at Palm Garden Reaort. Mr VY has been brilliant. So welcoming and so much fun. We loved having him as our tour guide on our bicycling tour to our cooking class. Great humor and knowledge. My sons (28 and 25) really enjoyed playing pickleball with B and their father. I watched and it was fun but competitive and lots of laughs. Score 1 all. 🤗 V is n awesome person to have at your resort. Our stay was so much more fun having him a part of it. Thankyou BY. 🙌

Staff were not very friendly compared with the rest of Vietnam

I stayed in vila 109 with good amenities. Breakfast was amazing and great service by mr. THI aka the coconut man

Loved our experience at Palm Garden Resorts. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Seaview villa with private pool. Stunning and spacious rooms with lounge and kitchen. The staff were fantastic, especially Mr Thi who provided us with fresh coconut water straight from the coconut and plentiful supply of mango. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation and facilities were excellent. Exceeded expectations. In particular the beach access with lifeguard and cordoned swimming area was amazing. As a family with teens we also enjoyed the fitness centre, pool, pickle ball courts etc. Staff were also exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return if we get back to Hoi An in the future. Previous reviews are very accurate.

There were no negatives about this property.

This was the fourth time we’ve been to Hoi An and we have often stayed previously at the Victoria but thought we’d try something different this time. Absolutely delighted with our choice of the Palm Garden. Rooms were very nice - especially the three bedroom beach villa we had for the last couple of nights - and everything just worked very well. Pools were lovely, beach area is clean and fun with a very popular bar, breakfast was a great spread and the bar (with pool table) built the entrance was a fun place to round off an evening. Spa was lovely too. What made it better for us than the Victoria was the location. At the Victoria there is nothing else on your doorstep whereas here you have across the road a load of mini marts, laundries and restaurants which are nice for a wander. Location is perfectly situated out of Hoi An centre (15 min grab ride) so you’re out of the mayhem in a very chilled beach area. The only negative we had was the noise from construction next door which wasn’t the hotel’s fault but they moved our room when we raised.

Rien. D’ailleurs nous ne sommes pas restés. Hôtel qui ressemble plus à un club bas de gamme qu’à un hôtel quatre étoiles. Et je ne parle pas de la chambre qui donne sur le chantier d’à côté avec les bulldozer toute la journée

Aucun charme dans les chambres et pourtant j’avais pris la plus cher. La terrasse donne sur le chantier du marriott à côté avec tractopelles toute la journée. Nous ne sommes pas restés il a fallu trouver un autre hôtel dans l’heure.

Nơi này thực sự là 1 trong những resort tuyệt vời. Không gian xanh mướt, bãi biển tuyệt đẹp cùng rất nhiều ghế tắm nắng. Những bãi cỏ bồn hoa đều được nhân viên chăm sóc kĩ lưỡng. Nhân viên tiếp đón rất niềm nở đến tận lúc về cùng đồ ăn sáng đa dạng. Mình đến còn được up hạng phòng free. Thực sự rất đáng tiền!

Chỉ có 1 điều nhỏ đó là phòng tắm ko có vòi sen linh động nên khá bất tiện nhưng bù lại có bồn tắm rất to. Không có gờ ngăn cách giữa sàn phòng tắm và phòng khách nên sàn thường bị ướt khá trơn

Lovely hotel with immaculate grounds. Pool was nice and big with loads of chairs for guests. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could think of. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

The grounds here are absolutely beautifully kept! Getting a Grab into Old Town was super fast and easy, and we also loved using the free rental bikes to head over to the Duck Stop. ​The pool gave proper resort vibes—it was so nice being able to order drinks right to our loungers, and there were always plenty of chairs available. As someone with pale skin, I do wish there had been a shaded spot in the pool itself, though that probably wouldn't bother most people! ​While we didn't eat at the main restaurant for dinner, the included breakfast was fantastic with options galore. They also have multiple bars, including one right on the beach, which made for perfect afternoon vibes. The beach area was very clean and well-equipped with plenty of sun loungers as well.

There was active construction throughout our stay, and we woke up to noise from tools and workers each morning. I’m not letting this impact my overall rating because it’s beyond the control of the front-line staff, but if you’re booking in the next couple of months, I’d suggest avoiding the 'Town 8' section of the resort. The hotel was completely booked during our stay, so moving rooms wasn't an option for us.

Beautiful resort, pool is amazing, staff are so friendly, overall a wonderful experience. We even had a very, very noisy gecko (lizard) in our room & had the funniest moment with the staff who came to remove it, they were brilliant!
