Just off the motor way on a trip to Southampton for a cruise
Not good if you want to go for a walk
Stayed Sunday night brilliant nights sleep very clean Great staff happy days
N.A
Basic hotel room suitable for a one night stopover. The room was clean and large enough. Shower worked well.
It was fine.
Friendly staff, good food facilities nearby
Lack of table in room, bed frame all stained, power in shower poor, no air con and fan provided insufficient
Room was very bear bed Lock lost in there
Having to pay for parking at £5 when that normally is included with other travel lodges are the same sort of calibre and price
Everything..Location ideal because it was right on the motorway & it allowed me to zip down to Carlisle etc for the Hadrians Wall etc..Plenty on convenience stores near the hotel too. The staff were all extremely pleasant & polite…Plust l have used the hotel twice before.
Nothing.I was very happy with my stay.
Next to services so easy access for food etc. decent amount of car parking space and staff were very friendly and helpful on arrive al and leaving especially when needed more tea/milk sachets! Also gave us the extra pillows we requested as needed for health reasons so was grateful for that.
Room was at far end of a long corridor and was a struggle for husband with him being disabled/ mobility reduced. Noisy neighbours but that’s not the staffs fault - some people just like to bang doors!
Fabulous staff and really good for my dogs
staff helpful , clean rooms
the services food!
Clean and spacious.Comfotable.CoLose to shops and food outlets.
Plumbing on something required for the hotel made a annoying vibrating sound.Could not sleep because of that noise.Went quite about 3 am.
Clean and convenient just off the motorway in way to highlands
Would be nice for them to have twin rooms rather double with small bed , if they do never been able to book .
Convenient and friendly staff
Fridge in room would be a nice touch
Perfect stop over on our way to holiday
The bed was very comfortable & we did sleep well. It was a nice touch having a fan in the room but I had already brought my own
It was hard to find & not well signposted. We arrived when it was dark & drove past the entrance. Had to pay for parking which wasn’t mentioned. Paid for breakfast & had to walk over to the services to get it. Ok, the day we went was dry but it would’ve be awful in traditional Scottish weather. Would’ve cancelled breakfast had I known that. Breakfast was only a standard fry up & hot drink with no other healthier choices, cereal, fruit juice or continental selection offered.
Great location near the motorway
The £5 parking fee. When I booked there was no mention of a parking fee
Very convenient place to stay on route to the highlands. Comfortable, clean and good value for money. Staff very friendly.
Location was easy to find And a lot quieter than expected considering it was in the service station. Room was good size and very spacious
Nothing
Was expensive

There was nothing that dissatisfied. Another comfortable chair in the room would have been great great. - given that there were two of us.
It was reasonable value for money. Average hotel.
They charge you £5 extra for parking.
Pratique sur le trajet, accès direct depuis l'autoroute Accessible de plein pied
Chambres basiques
Conveniently situated
No complaints
comfy room. Convenient location. Good value. Food choice in service station adequate
Mix up over rooms but quickly sorted
Quiet comfortable and clean
All ok as expected
Good overnight stop .
Just what we expected.
Location was exvellent for a cheeky visit to Gretna shopping mall and tourist spots. Loved the walking areas behind the hotel that were very handy for taking the dog out. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff at both check in and departure were very friendly, so a lovely welcome.
Paid quite a high premium for travelling with my dog! Opted to pay for breakfast - frankly bogging! Dreary and dirty cafe. Everything either dry or undercooked, staff pretty disinterested and slow. Gave the dried out bacon to my dog (wouldn't have risked giving her the very undercooked sausage) and threw the rest away. Would have been far better to get a decent coffee and pastry at Costa. Wifi in hotel very poor...tried to catch up on Wimbledon match using iplayer on my laptop but hopeless!
Clean comfortable bed and room. Exterior bit dated but it's a building. Great location for a stop off on longer travel routes. Gretna a mile away for various food options if don't wish to pay service prices. Great fish and chips and a local co-op also Grenta retail park for shipping l. Would definitely use again. £5 for parking but if register with welcome services get free parking and similar pr same hotel rates so worth registering
All was fine
Broke up the journey to Scotland same as a travelodge very quiet area of the services
Bar
The location and the team were nice. And the room had a fan 👍.
Very clean and comfortable.
Water pressure for baths not great.
Location and staff.
Our room was the accessible room and as it was downstairs at the front of the building it was very noisy, which meant a disturbed sleep.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel
De aanwezigheid van de vele honden en de vloerbekleding
Staff were lovely
Was hoping for a good nights sleep but didnt get it as the bedding sheets and duvet cover were very uncomfortable obviously had some sort of plastic protection which made things sweaty and uncomfortable. The room also needed a Deep clean, lots of dust cobwebs and grime around the bedside lights and the loo seat wasnt the cleanest either.Wasnt expecting the Hilton but did expect Clean.
Staff excellent
It was a stop over place
Location was ok as it was a stop over for one night
Very nice room in a good location
E£xcellent for the dog
Easily Accessible from Motorway. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything we needed for one night stopover.
Nothing.
It was handy for the event we were attending
Having to leave the property to get breakfast at another place. The standard of food was poor
The room was affordable and very clean and comfortable.
There was no socket by my bed. This meant I could use my CPAP machine to aid my sleep.
Clean room
We were disappointed with several aspects of our stay. We were given only one set of towels, and there was no extra space for seating in the room. The TV was very small and we were unable to connect any phone or device to it. The breakfast was also an unexpected disappointment. The portions were very small, and we had to go to the service area to get food. Nobody asked us what we would like, and I had to pay extra for toast because it was not included in the full English breakfast. Because the portions were so small. If I had known about these issues beforehand, I would never have booked breakfast at the hotel.
Lovely accessible room, convenient location for catching the coach to Southampton
Nothing
Staff were polite but not particularly friendly
£20 extra for dog and £5 extra for parking seemed excessive
Breakfast was served in a motorway service area.
Location, a good place to break my journey south. Modernised to a high standard e.g walk in showers.
Personal thing but bed not very comfortable. Paying extra for parking, a recent new charge, especially when the state of the road is terrible. HGVs using the caravan only parking bays next to bedrooms. Perhaps not in total control of Days Inn but within their powers to complain to site management to stop the practice. Services short on services for meals.
Nice and clean
Very friendly, helpful staff. Accommodation spotlessly clean.

I was issued a £60 fine having paid extra £5 for overnight parking
Convenient location, basic but serviceable.
Floorings in all areas quite grubby and the bathroom had mould around the bath.
The bed
No bar . No food no area for socialising
Staff were very helpful smiley Caroline was really excellent and witty :)

Some of the bedding looked dirty and the room looked dated and the whole hotel could do with a uplift
Bathroom dates
Location
Just could do with a chair or two.
Genuinely very clean and very friendly staff.
I was impressed by my stay. No negative points.
Very comfortable bed . So we had a very good nights sleep. We like the convenience of the site and for us we especially like that all the rooms are on the ground floor..
TV rather small, room sparse, no tourist leaflets re the area in Reception and woman in Reception wasn’t sure re direction to a local town ~ free pamphlets on a stand in the foyer for tourists?! After walking my dog for an hour a few miles away I returned, sat in the bed for an hour ~ decided to leave and head south!
Clean and comfortable. A good rest for tired travellers. The late checkout was very welcome.
The pillows were a little flimsy.
Very comfy. It sold snacks and some drinks. Taxi into town was not available as the area only has one taxi driver and he was busy doing an airport run. Use your own car.
Remote and unreliable taxi service. Only 1 taxi. You’ll need a car to go for an evening meal.
Excellent location, not far from where we needed to be & room was clean & comfortable
Only downside was that it was a little dated and would have been nice to maybe have a bottle of water in the room
Staff could have been a liyyle happier she just looked like she couldnt be bothered.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We checked in at 2am and it was good we could do that.
The bed was very lumpy abd in comfortable and the room was clean but shabby
Ontbijt was bij nabijgelegen snelwegeestaurant. Redelijk van kwaliteit, maar lang moeten wachten
Staff were very knowledgeable and polite especially Neil who has an auntie June Myles, same name as me !! 😆
Nothing
It was clean ,friendly staff,
Breakfast not included, parking not included in price, but not expensive.
Breakfast was very limited for a full, no toast etc on offer or cereal, no refil tea or coffee unless you payed again for it, very disappointing.
Easy access clean room
Having to pay to park
Great for everything
Nothing
I liked everything. Clean, comfortable, lots of amenities to hand. Friendly staff. Great value for money and so reasonably priced.
There was nothing I didn't like
Room was comfortable and spacious. Fan provided in case room was too hot but was fine. Staff member on the desk was very friendly and helpful.
Child’s bed was really quite hard.
has its own car park, still charges extra for it upon arrival
Very convenient for onward travel
All fine
Convenient and reasonable price
No aircon
Shower Room Location Price
Having to pay for car park
bed was comfortable
Helpful staff and good facilities nearby.
Nothing
convienient
no bath
Ideal half way point for us traveling from Morayshire to Essex. Dogs are always welcome
All was good, not so clean as our previous visits. Now pay for parking this must be new.
It was very quiet and so I had a good nights sleep. Good stop off location
Didn't have breakfast so cant comment. Person on check in was professional but no smiles, if I remember rightly. Person at desk on check out was on the other hand smiling and friendly. Our room was very quiet, as requested. Great, practical location for travelling further up north.Very good price. Excellent comfortable bed.
Signage off motorway and around services could be more visible, motel could easily be missed. Maybe needs a little extra colour along corridors and rooms to add welcoming feel. We would have booked on our return down south but the price was around £100, approx £40 more.
Location was ideal, ample room with comfortable bed, reception 24h with little shop, quiet and clean,
I would have liked to know that breakfast was at the services because I wouldn't have booked somewhere else
Location
Tired and no facilities on site
Great for pets - easy to walk them. Staff were lovely
Bed was ok
Parking charges
No on site restaurant
Checking in was ok
Room smelt, there were stains on the wall by bed. Bed was uncomfortable pillows were not comfortable Overall cleanliness was poor, booked one night with breakfast and this was the first time I left most of it on my plate. Sausages were cheap rubbish eggs were ok but not much flavour could not eat bacon as it was rubbery. Only good thing was the tea which was hot.
Nothing stood out.
Receptionist rude and didn't even look up to greet us. Just mumbled have you booked a room. I also think it disgusting to have paid nearly £100 for the night then on arrival be charged a further £5 for the privilege of parking at the hotel! Even though booking confirmation said no further charges were needed. I booked a family room because I was told I would get a bath in it. The room I was allocated had only a shower. After an 9 hour journey I was very disappointed overall with the stay. I will probably use Travelodge next time.
Nice n clean, smelt clean fresh not musty like a lot of hotels
£97 for the room yeep that's ok,then had to pay for parking,,that's a bit of a cheek
Easy to get to off the motorway. Comfortable bed.
Strange strong smell wafting around the corridor outside room, like someone had left a takeaway to rot. Informed staff just in case somebody had left something awful for staff to clean up.
Very clean & comfortable. Great pit stop for us on our journey north from Manchester Airport. Would stay again.
Nothing.
Staff were friendly and polite. Room was clean and comfortable.
Nothing although the charge for parking on our booking was included, it when we arrived we had to pay, this is very misleading .
Very friendly
Nothing perfect stay from start to finish
comfortable as expected
Convenient location for my trip.
Nice layout, coffee, tea, milk and there's was a fan left in the room which was a bonus . It was comfortable and clean .
Not enough pillows !
It was surprisingly quiet, which was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean and everything was in good shape. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful - from the receptionist I called to say I’d be later than planned to the night receptionist and the housekeeper the next morning with my case as the drive had left me with an aching back and knee!
