Excellent staff ....very polite, informative, kind and helpful. Pampered us. Food was amazing, the chefs are surely doing a wonderful job.

Room cleaning could be improved. Found the lid of a Can, many strands of hair on the sofa as also on the floor corner when we checked in. Did not report it. Cleaned it myself. Sofa spring was broken ....Sofa was immediately changed when reported. The water kettle was not working on the second day....was immediately changed when reported. The room phone wasn't working and took some time to be repaired. We had to call for Guest services and in-room dining through our mobile phones.

The Taj exotica resort Goa is a beautiful & exquisite luxury resort with fantastic amenities, lush greenery, peaceful surroundings and the magnificent private beach which makes it a perfect holiday destination. However, what really sets the resort apart are its people, the staff are exceptionally warm, courteous, attentive and went out of their way to make us feel special. Further the numerous resort experiences like Golf-with the amazing coach Johnson, Spa- with Bipin & Soraj, cycling in the resort, cleanliness of the beach, ambience & delicious food in the Sala Da Pranzo restaurant with incredible service provided by Fecho, Stalin, Anisha, Shabinath, Alina, Sheelu, Macwin, Ambika, Vishal and Chefs Kalam, Alam & Naveen, taking genuine care to accommodate individual preferences like Halal food, spice levels, etc. Room booking services by Neola at customer care, Reception & welcome service by Abbas, buggy transportation service by Nilesh, airport welcome by Lourencinha and Conceirge services by Yvonne and excellent overall service by every staff member in the resort whose names I’m unfortunately unable to recollect.

The peaceful surroundings and 9 hole golf facilities made the experience even more special.The entire team delivered warm, gracious, and highly professional hospitality, with genuine attention to every detail. I would really like to appreciate the hospitality offered by the group , one if the best in class hospitality, comfort and definetly exotic as per the name. One more thing i would really like to mention is the warmth and sense of responsibilty towards the custimer and very sincere efforts taken by "Mr Raj from reservation team" to make the day very special with everything on time and being particular as mentioned. His sense of responsibily towards his duties has left me speechless, I have travelled across the globe and have been at nearly every class of hotels but the way he has understood the occassion , accordingly has suggested the best services that can be undertaken and also have made sure that everything was in place before time. We had gone to celebrate my mother’s birthday. It was an absolutely beautiful experience. The property is beautiful. Beach access and the pool are amazing. The service is superb! The staff is very welcoming. Special thanks to Sonali and Malvica from the Kids area for doing an amazing job with various activities got kids.

The beachfront location is gorgeous, as are the large lawns and the golf course. The staff is extremely welcoming and make you feel right at home!

Given the season, the choice of restaurants within the property was quite limited- the beachfront restaurant was closed and the kids outdoor area was under renovation. Otherwise, it was perfect!

The entire experience at 'Taj Exotica' is magnificent and very much relaxed. Location is one of THE BEST. Rooms are huge and lavishly designed. *None* in the industry can beat Taj in terms of cleanliness too !!! The calming effect of the place makes it so much exclusive. Being an avid traveller, always keen to explore new properties and revisit my favorites. This time the family decided to visit the Goa region during the quieter monsoon period for some well deserved R&R for a week. We experimented Sindhudurg and visited 2 luxury properties there - Araqila and Highland Sarovar Portico. Both knocked the ball out of the park and deserve dedicated reviews which I recommend you read. Taj Exotica is the old faithful where we expected impeccable service and stay. Reservation - Not sure why, but Taj has made Reservations very complicated and quite deceptive. Same rooms are priced differently and sold as different categories but offer nothing extra. Additionally, I as a practice, like booking early, but the hotel likes to penalize those who plan ahead. I was offer a rate under Bed and Breakfast, but more closer to arrival, they offered same rates for Bed + Breakfast + Dinner and hotel credits. Request made to consider us in the new promotion was categorically denied. Check-in - Probably one of the rudest front office staff I have seen in any luxury property. Cold, deceitful, no warm welcome or greetings. On the phone or constantly talking to a trainee with no eye contact with the guest. No welcome drinks or garland as is customary during check-in. I brought up the price difference between same type of rooms, none offered and almost a 'take it or leave it attitude'. Rooms - 2 rooms garden facing were booked, needed a twin in one, as mentioned during reservation, but both were double. The rooms were identical, despite me paying for 1 room of a higher category. Rooms were clean and well appointed, so no issues there. Breakfast - Its great to see a hotel almost filled to capacity during a low season, but the planning to stock up the food platters / dishes to cater to a capacity crowd was missing. We preferred eating major meals at Cavatina instead, which always is Michelin quality. The Holiday Inn experience at the Taj Exotica left a bad taste and we will not be returning here anytime soon and will continue to take our patronage to St. Regis just down the road.

i had a wonderful stay at this hotel.the rooms were clean ,comfortable,and well maintained the overall atmosphere was relaxing. i especially appreciate raj and krisna frin front desk.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Raj and Krishna were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. A special thanks to Himasho as well for keeping our room clean and well maintained. The service from the entire team made our stay very pleasant. Highly recommended! We would definitely love to stay here again.

Our experience at Taj Exotica Goa was absolutely amazing.The beautiful property, peaceful surroundings, and exceptional hospitality made our stay truly memorable. A special mention to Narmin, who was wonderful with the kids. She kept them happily engaged with her unique and creative games, and her warm, cheerful nature made the experience so enjoyable for them. She has a natural way of connecting with children and made sure they had a fantastic time. Sunil was equally amazing and made us feel so welcomed with his warm and attentive service. We had a great time at Taj Exotica. Narmin did a great job making sure we had an enjoyable cooking class. All the staff were very friendly and the buffet restaurant was excellent.

Spent a night at taj exotica, in what turned out to be a superb stay. The property is out of the world, The lawns, the sea facing rooms, that are well appointed and stocked. The idr service and food was great; so was the breakfast spread and quality if dishes. A great stay, highly recommended

I selected Taj Exotica , to give my wife a treat. It was one of the best decisions of my Life. The location and the ambiance of the property is simply superb . Add to this the tremendous warmth, involvement and care provided by the staff, was outstanding. Every little detail, to ensure our stay was comfortable, was looked into. The Seafacing room was fantastic. Very large and well appointed , comfortable bathroom and a cleverly designed seafacing balcony, having total privacy. The food was typically excellent Taj cuisine. An added bonus was the ability to use the dining facilities of the next door Taj Holiday Village, where, the Thai restaurant, Banyan, was outstanding and highly recommended. The facilities like the outdoor warm water jacuzzi, very large double swimming pools, bicycles to ride around the vast property, three putting holes , kept us busy when outdoors, alongwith , the very clean stretch of adjoining beach. Even during the monsoon, the beach is safe. Indoors, two pool tables and chess , kept us occupied. Easily available buggy service, facilitated going around the vast property. The constant caring by the staff , especially Joann D'souza , who was a marvel , made our stay very comfortable. Certainly a destination that must be experienced, at least once in a lifetime. The place is truly excellent value for the money spent. Thank you Taj , and a big thank you to the super efficient and warm Joann , for giving us such a memorable experience.

Taj Exotica Goa will always hold a very special place in our hearts because it was the first-ever trip for our son. What made that first holiday even more beautiful was being able to experience it at a property that combined the warmth of Taj hospitality with the relaxed charm of Goa. Looking back, it wasn’t simply a vacation for us, it was the beginning of our son’s travel story and the first of so many memories we hoped to create with him. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. The beautiful property, lush greenery, expansive spaces, and serene surroundings created the perfect environment for a family holiday with a little one. There was enough space for our family to explore, while we could also slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together. Travelling with a 3 month old baby comes with its own set of challenges, but the thoughtful service and genuine warmth of the Taj team made everything feel easier. From accommodating our little one’s needs to the small gestures that made us feel cared for, the experience gave us the confidence to take that first big trip as a family. The resort itself is stunning, with its beautiful gardens, Goan-inspired architecture, peaceful ambience, and wonderful views. There is something incredibly special about waking up surrounded by greenery and having nowhere you need to rush to. It was exactly the kind of first holiday we wanted for our family. The food and dining experience were equally enjoyable, with a wonderful variety of options and the flexibility that families with young children really appreciate. But what we remember most is the feeling of the stay, the warmth, the unhurried mornings, the little moments with our son, and the happiness of watching him experience something new for the very first time. Today, with our son growing up and having already travelled to so many beautiful places, we often look back at his first holiday at Taj Exotica Goa with a special kind of nostalgia. Those first photographs, those tiny expressions, and those early travel memories will always be priceless to us. Awesome experience once again at Taj Exotica Goa. Fantastic property in terms of scenic beauty, maintenance, access to beach. Staff was very courteous and professional. Chef catered to special food preferences, which was a huge plus.

Have just returned from our Happy Place, Taj Exotica Goa and don’t know how year after year we love it more and more. Firstly, big shout out to Sheetal and whoever worked on that pool which is HEATED, hands down the best pool we have ever been in and being in the open, which was windy and cold and being in a heated pool with that view- absolute game changer. I am going to start with the guys who make this happen, Reagan (have been seeing him since my first trip to Exotica), Vincy, Noor and Clato. Siddarth, Akshodhay and Raj at the front desk and always making the entire process so easy for us. Once again, have gotten a few names of the team who made our stay super comfortable and with utmost care given to detail (the names are in no particular order)- At the restaurant, Aadiir’s favourites, Renuka, Vishal, Shabhinath and Ram, given to every whim and request of his and Rohan and Ravi Raj for feeding me all the deserts 😊A big thank you to Shubhangi, Juhi, Krishna, Rashmita, Rashmi, Ambika, Gladwyn, Vashon, Macvin, Ashita, Alina, Prasanjit, Shoheel, Michael, Grace, Anisha and Dhan. Gourang, didn’t get to see you much, but it is always good to see you. The chefs, Ganesh who has always been so graceful and kind to always check in on us. Subroto for the yummiest pasta, Kamal for the lovely desserts, Allam Sheikh for the chaats, Shreyas and Milind for the garlic breads, Vishnu for the best dosas and Abhishek. At the pool side, these guys just never said no- Parvesh, Johnson, Chandramani, Santosh, Kishan, Bipin and Jerry. Your security guys, Hemendra, Sovan, Sunil and Dharmendra. Nilesh, Filomena and Francesco for being so sweet to our son for the many rides around the resort (sometimes just for a joy ride) The ladies at the play area- Sonali, Narmin, Malvika, Niktia and Gaytri who were just exceptional with their care for the kids and the activities. Jomol and Sooraj for the most relaxing massages given to Mansi and me Bhim and Ravindra at House keeping for the lovely décor they did in our room and keeping the room always smelling amazing (one of the best parts about the Taj) Thank you once again for everything, cannot wait to be back to exotica

The service is commendable at this resort. All the front office staff - mentionable are Siddharth and Aksh, Geetika etc were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to ensure all guests were happy and their needs were accommodated. The lobby isn’t airconditioned but there’s a lovely skylight area which gets quite pleasant in the evening. The balcony offers a lovely view of the beach and sea. Their bars are well stocked and quite popular, they had menus from different parts of the country on different days so the feast was quite extensive and varied. They have a swimming pool, kids play area, gift shops, pool tables and different activities through the day. I would definitely recommend staying here and it is value for money

What a lovely property, it’s huge with amazing gardens and big rooms. Unfortunately it’s dated and old with the most useless service at the restaurants. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel was the food and the service was absent! I have attached a photo of the toaster at breakfast which says it all. The service staff at all the food outlets were trainees and had no idea what was going on - more like headless chickens. There was no senior staff that i could see for over 4 days - No duty manager nor GM of F&B head, it was like kids were running this place. Definitely a miss as there are many many more better options in Goa

The property is vast spread around 56 acres, Mr Ganesh and Mr Krishna has been great in providing good food options and served us just great to make our food experience good. We are from North India and requested for a bit spicy food options and they did everything to make our experience great. Thank you so much!

It was such a lovely and peaceful experience at this resort. The staff is really warm and helpful, food is also great. Overall, it is a great place to visit for people of all age groups. My husband and I also took a cooking class with Chef Subroto Mukherjee and loved every bit of it. He was so accommodating; as we are pure vegetarians and when one of the dishes out of the three we chose had egg, he quickly taught us another dish to make sure we do not miss out on anything. Would recommend it 100% and would be happy to visit again.

​Starting with the good: they went out of their way to celebrate my son’s birthday at the main entrance, and they even provided a complimentary pickup from our previous resort, which was a nice touch. The property is huge, and buggies are readily available to take you around. We were on the all-inclusive package, so all our meals were covered at the main all-day dining restaurant. That said, it would’ve been nice to have the option to dine at some of the other restaurants on-site. ​The Indulgence Pool Villa itself was lovely, but we were constantly dealing with mosquitoes inside the room. When we brought it up, the staff just brushed it off as a seasonal monsoon issue. However, we had just come from Caravela Beach Resort which has a very similar setup and didn't have this problem at all. ​The buffet food spread was good, but the service really lacked warmth. Food at times were left uncovered and this invited flies in the room to feast. And there was a service personnel carrying a racket to try and get rid of the flies. Customers ordering ala-carte were definitely preferred over buffet customers with strange responses like 'meat might be chewy because its on the buffet for long', 'food is cold because ac is on'. I guess what's hot plates doing there then! Indian hospitality is famous for being welcoming, but that just wasn't the vibe here. If you work in hospitality, basic friendliness and a smile should be the standard and that goes for the managers/ chefs walking around the lobby and dining rooms, too. ​It almost felt like the team was coasting on the Taj brand name rather than actually earning the reputation. I would fire a good few just for making faces when interacting with customers, you need to be told that you have a job because customers are paying a hefty amount to be at your resort. The one big exception was Mr. Krishna and Mr. Shibi at the dosa counter from the dining team, who truly stood out and gave great service. ​Honestly, the staff here could really use a refresher course on customer service from the ground up. Taj is a proud brand in India, but this particular resort has some work to do to live up to the name.

I recently stayed at Taj Exotica Goa and, unfortunately, my experience regarding the Epicure membership benefits was disappointing. One of the key reasons for purchasing the Epicure membership is the expectation of added privileges, including room upgrades. However, despite holding an Epicure membership and visiting during the off-season, I was informed that upgrades were not available. This made the membership benefits feel limited and did not meet my expectations. Based on my personal experience, I did not find sufficient value in the Epicure program at this property. Guests considering the membership should clearly understand that upgrades are subject to availability and may not always be offered. In comparison, I have had much better experiences at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage and Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, where the service, recognition of membership benefits, and overall guest experience felt more rewarding and personalized.

Celebrating my 40th birthday at Taj Exotica with my husband and daughter was truly a memorable experience. From the exceptional hospitality and delicious food to the beautiful stay, everything was simply perfect. What made the celebration even more special was the opportunity to spend some uninterrupted quality time with my husband while our daughter had an equally wonderful experience at the Taj Kids' Club. She thoroughly enjoyed the engaging activities, made new friends, and looked forward to going there every day. A special thank you to Narmin and her wonderful team for taking such great care of our daughter. Narmin was incredibly warm, friendly, and encouraging, making her feel comfortable from the very beginning and motivating her to participate in all the activities. It was reassuring to know she was in such caring hands, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our celebration. Thank you, Taj Exotica, for making my milestone birthday so special. We left with beautiful memories and can't wait to visit again.

It was a lovely trip. Everything for the trip was perfect. The kids area was very thoughtful and the staff was always ready to engage them especially Narmin, she was very good and kind with kids. We will definitely visit again soon.

I had high expectations from Taj Exotica, Goa. unfortunately, my experience was far below what I have come to expect from the Taj brand. Right from the booking process to check-in and various service interactions during my stay, there were repeated disappointments. The issues began immediately after making the booking through my Taj InnerCircle account. I completed the payment using my credit card along with Tata NeuPoints through the payment link provided. However, after the transaction, the page displayed a "Link Expired" message, and I received neither a payment confirmation nor a booking acknowledgement. I contacted customer care, who transferred my call to the property, which in turn redirected me to the accounts department. Despite multiple attempts, no one answered. I eventually sent an email, and only after sharing my credit card transaction details, since no payment reference had been generated, did I receive payment confirmation and booking confirmation—almost two days later. The arrival experience was equally underwhelming. There was nothing memorable about the welcome. Guests were expected to pick up a glass of red color drink (???) that had been kept uncovered at the entrance, without anyone explaining what it was or offering it personally. Interestingly, not all members of my family were even offered the drink. A welcome gesture should feel warm and thoughtful, not impersonal and confusing. Even much smaller hotels present welcome drinks with courtesy and explain what is being served, does it contain sugar? is it suitable for everyone? Our check-in experience was also disappointing. Although we arrived at around 3:30 PM, the rooms were still not ready. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes, we received the key to only one room, while being informed that the second room would be ready later. The second key was finally handed over around 4:00 PM. We ourself dragged baggage from one room to other after receiving keys. We requested for inter-connected room but when the door between rooms was opened the space between was extremely dirty as it was not opened and cleaned for several days. Had to call housekeeping staff to clean it. The most frustrating experience was with the pre-booked Evening High Tea at Hora Do Cha. Before arrival, I had received several promotional emails encouraging advance bookings, so I booked the High Tea online. However, when we reached the venue at 5:00 PM, there was no staff present and no High Tea setup. We were sent from Hora Do Cha to the main restaurant and then to the bar before finally being told that there was no High Tea buffet at all and that we would instead have to order items from the menu, which would take another 30 minutes. To make matters worse, during billing I was charged both for the pre-booked High Tea—which effectively did not exist—and for the food we had separately ordered. This was completely unacceptable, on complaining it was removed. Overall, this stay was a series of avoidable service failures rather than isolated incidents. For a luxury property carrying the Taj name, I expected seamless service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Instead, I experienced poor coordination, ineffective communication, and operational lapses at multiple touchpoints. It was a highly disappointing experience and certainly not what one expects from the Taj Group.

Enjoyed the vast property, the food and the offerings for my 12 and 8 year old grandchildren. Narmin particularly was very engaging, prompt and proactive. Appreciated her efforts.

Joann the desk manager was amazing and was able to help us with all out extra needs ! The stay was exceptional, nothing less than what you would expect from Taj ! Gald to have been stayed here.

I would like to share my rewiew on my dining experience i had visted it was too good.. a special mention to the wonderful lobby team for making us feel so welcome. From the moment we arrived..abigail , mishlyn, naman , RAJ were incredibly friendly and attentive…highly recommend this place for both delivious food and outstanding service

The stay was superb. We had been there to celebrate the1st Birthday of my grandson " Reyansh ". Sonali /Rupa Chakraborty helped a lot in the celebration and managed well. The chef Ganesh had been very good in taking great care in connection with diet of my grandson. The attendant Soufique had been very good in hospitality I wish them a bright future ahead.

We had a really lovely stay at Taj Exotica — the weather was beautiful and the resort lived up to its reputation in many ways. A big shoutout to Siddharth, who looked after us right from arrival. Travelling with a baby, we needed the room ready quickly, and he was completely on top of it — accommodative, proactive, and just made us feel very comfortable from the word go. Purna ji in housekeeping was outstanding. He was there whenever we needed anything, always willing to go the extra mile, and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Truly the kind of staff that elevates a stay. And then there's Mr. Sunil from the valet — an absolute gem of a person. We had a bit of trouble with our rented car, and he stepped in with such warmth and confidence. "Don't worry, everything will be taken care of" — and it genuinely was. His personality and calm attitude made what could have been a stressful situation completely stress-free. For the baby, the kitchen was very accommodating — Aloo Parantha, Dal Khichdi, whatever we asked for was sorted without any fuss. Appreciated that. One honest feedback: the kids' play zone and some of the recreational facilities do feel quite outdated. For a property of this standing — Taj Exotica, no less — one would expect these areas to be as polished as the rest of the resort. It is the one area that genuinely needs attention and investment. Overall a memorable stay, largely because of the people. The team here is what makes Taj Exotica special.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Taj exotica Goa as a family of four. We’d like to specifically endorse Ms. Narmin for her service entertaining both our girls with creative arts and crafts. She brought the activities to the breakfast table and entertained them while eating breakfast which helped us so much ! She showed so much love and care for the kids that the kids were excited to see her every time! We played carrom tournament and won some prizes. She also taught us new games and made creative artwork. She’s truly valuable to the organization. We endorse Mr. Chandramani who was a swim instructor for our 6yr old daughter. He trained her with patience and deeply pursued her understanding in swimming. At the end of 2 classes, she was able to successfully swim atleast 6 strokes underwater. Can’t be more proud! Thanks to his service I truly value the resorts housekeeping service for keeping us enjoying the stay throughout with different decor every night. I truly want to endorse the house keeping service person who came on July 2nd to service room 617. He got us a tent with balloons which the kids enjoyed so much. They cannot forget the stay! Overall, the stay was perfect and we enjoyed a lot!!! Thank you so much for the service.

We loved staying at Taj exotica. It was a pleasant stay with my 2 kids. They thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and the entertainment. I want to specifically endorse Narmin, who spent valuable time with both our girls doing craft works, engaging with them with love and care, playing with creating curiosity and passion. She kept them engaged while we fed them. Narmin is an amazing personality to engage with. Highly value Narmin’s energy! I endorse Chandramani who was my daughter’s swimming couch for two days. He was exceptional teaching her with so much patience making her understand the techniques. At the end of class she was able to hold her breath under water and swim continuously for at least six strokes! Truly valuable. We also enjoyed the stay with different decor after every housekeeping ! They made efforts to give us a warm welcome! I truly value the person who did housekeeping in the evening in room 617 on July 2nd,2026! They had a tent and balloons setup for the kids which the kids enjoyed and cannot forget! We are truly short of words to describe the magnificence of Taj Exotica Goa, visited on 14.06.2026 to 16.06.2026. A beautifully maintained beach resort of the highest order, it surpassed every expectation. We spent most of our time within the resort itself a testament to how complete and captivating this property truly is. The Taj Exotica Goa is a stunning, well-maintained beach resort that radiates elegance at every turn. The lush gardens, pristine beachfront and immaculate surroundings create an atmosphere of calm luxury that is hard to leave. A truly amazing resort property in South Goa. The food served at the Restaurant Sala Da Pranzo was simply mouth-watering. Every dish was crafted with care and presented with finesse. Tea Time in the evening stood out as a cherished ritual during our stay. The spread of delicious Samosas, Cookies, and Cakes served with warm hospitality made it a highlight of each day. What truly elevated our stay was the extraordinary warmth and professionalism of the team. We specially acknowledge Duty Managers Shri Krishna, and Ms. JoAnn Nisha D'Souza, Ms. Ashita (Cash Counter) Shri Gladwin and Shri Uttam (Restaurant) The Chef, Mr. Sunil (Security Officer) extended extensive and helpful assistance both at the time of our arrival and departure, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout. The housekeeping team at our rooms did their absolute best to keep our space comfortable, clean, and inviting throughout the stay. It was a magnificent visit to this esteemed resort. I have booked Ground Floor premium room and also mentioned in Special Request. They gave me 1st floor room then they shifted us to Ground Floor room. Room Interior is not good especially washroom is bit old.

The checkin was quite unexpected as it got delayed and the staff kept saying 5-10 mins. This was when we were there to celebrate 35th anniversary for parents. Pretty turned into arguments but what followed was one of the best response I have seen. Joann, the duty manager, helped get the room and then in the lounge, planned for what was the the best personalised celebration for parents anniversary with lovely decor, cake cutting, renewing vows and really making it special. Wonder why Taj has the best hospitality. Clearly know how to make up if things haven't gone well. Thanks Joann and team. You guys were excellent!

Great property. Very clean with ample activities.

The Staff is rude, careless, ignorant. Specially those sitting at the front desk and the restaurant. You will not feel any warmth from the staff. The staff will ruin this property. I specifically remember Ms Lee at the check out desk, I haven’t faced such cold treatment even at the remote areas hotel, how can this be expected at Taj.

We recently spent 5 wonderful days at Taj Exotica and had an amazing experience overall. Exceptional service from the very beginning. The team made our arrival seamless and welcoming. We had a welcome drink ...a beer :) Great room service throughout our stay - always prompt and courteous and even ready for evening turndown service as well. The spa was wonderful - as a family all of us tried both their ayurveda and regular spa. We used their jaccuzi and saunanas well. The beach staff were wonderful and friendly, making our beach time enjoyable. I wish there was a complimentary evening snacks at the beach considering the season. The restaurant team was excellent - great food and wonderful service. One suggestion for improvement: The entertainment area (TT/table tennis) is kept in an awkward location. It would be better placed in a more accessible and central area for guests to enjoy. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Taj Exotica for a luxury beach experience in Goa. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation memorable!

My experience at Taj Exotica this time has been excellent. First, I want to especially commend the Taj Kids team. Their constant dedication to keeping all children safe, engaged, and entertained deserves recognition. A sincere thank you to Sonali Ma’am, Narmin Ma’am, Pallabi Ma’am, Sanvi Ma’am, Ryna Ma’am, and Malvica Ma’am — they were always there to support our activities, keep things fun, and make the overall experience memorable. The sports facilities were also very well maintained. The wide variety of activities on offer made the stay engaging and enjoyable. On the restaurant side, the service was good. While I felt the buffet quality had declined compared to earlier visits, the à la carte dishes were prepared exceptionally well. One area of concern was the uneven surface in the swimming pool, which could pose a slipping hazard. That said, I’d like to thank the lifeguards who were always attentive and quick to help with anything we needed. Aside from these minor points, the experience was fantastic. This ranks among my top stays at Taj, and I’ve been visiting for over 15 years

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa, with my wife and our 2 year old daughter, and it was nothing short of magical. After months of planning (and unfortunate cancellations earlier), this trip finally happened, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a true five-star experience. Even our cab driver was awestruck and remarked, “Sir, this is real five-star!” as we entered the resort.The welcome was warm and heartfelt. We were greeted beautifully at the entrance by Sunil, Shrikant, Bansi, Sovam, and Francisco. Jotham at the front desk, along with Raj and Pearl, made our check-in incredibly smooth and personal. Jotham made all efforts and checked on us for any requirements thereafter. What made it extra special was the lovely live musicians playing as we arrived and a delightful cake-cutting ceremony right at the lobby to celebrate our occasion. The breathtaking views of the gardens, lagoon, and sea instantly put us in vacation mode. Shrikant personally took us on a buggy tour of the resort, which was a lovely introduction to the property. Our room was an absolute stunner - elegantly designed, spacious, and with views that left us completely love-struck. It felt like a perfect sanctuary for our little family. I am missing it already. The dining experience was outstanding, thanks to the wonderful team at the restaurant: Anshika, Ambika, Lincoln, Galdwin, Vishal, Krishna, and Nidhi. In our three days of stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, offering excellent suggestions and customizing meals, especially keeping our toddler’s preferences in mind. After our earlier cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, he reassured us, coordinated everything beautifully, and ensured we experienced the authentic Taj luxury and warmth we had hoped for. The villas were spaced well and looked stunning. Even inside the villa, the rooms were tastefully decorated. The service is top notch and the staff is well-trained and courteous. The pools are big, there's an outdoor Jacuzzi. The beach is just stunning and peaceful.

Nothing really. But if I had to point out something I think the variety of food at the buffet restaurant was mostly North Indian and that could be made better. There was hardly any local Goan items listed.

Our two-night stay at Taj Exotica was nothing short of fabulous. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and hospitality that continued throughout our stay. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a private pool that made the experience even more special. The property itself is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. We were traveling with our two-year-old daughter, and she had the most wonderful time. A special mention to the kitchen staff, who were incredibly kind and thoughtful. They happily prepared food according to our little one's taste and preferences, making us feel completely at home. The Taj Kids program deserves special appreciation. There were so many engaging activities for children, ensuring that our daughter was entertained and happy throughout the trip. A heartfelt thank you to Narmin—kids simply adore her! Her warmth, energy, and genuine affection for children make her truly special. We honestly felt she is the heart and soul of the kids' activities. An highly overrated resort with zero or minimal service where you are treated as an liability than a guest , with staff treating as you are some trespasser wasting their time We had booked for premium villa and taken an offer for room upgrade to indulgence pool villa , we had already paid for room only upgrade had to be paid ,during check in , I told them that I will clear all my bills during checkout but was rudely told to settle room bills , come on I have paid so much already , and u have my credit card details and my one crore car is in your possession ( valet parking ) , u think I will run away without settling my bills , anyway paid it , Room was not ready so went to restaurant for lunch , sala de pranzo, took Buffet and it was horrible , who serves chicken peri peri as starters ??? Spread was mediocre, so was taste , no local foods were there, pasta and spaghetti were under cooked , desserts had no soul , soups were bland ( 3 star hotels serve better buffet ) staff were inadequate and they treated as if we had come for free food , attitude is horrible , taj has lost its warmth to be replaced by corporate mind set and attitude , room was good but ageing showing ( toilet lock wasn’t working) amenities were ok ( coffee machine was leaking ) on arrival there was a cake and fruit bowl, that’s it , we stayed for 5 days and nothing else afterwards, why is that most hotels give you bowl of fruits and cake only on day of arrival ?? Don’t we pay the same for everyday, why can’t everyday be made special ?(evolve back and serai does that and they even pack fruits and sandwiches for on road travel )We had come for wedding anniversary and intimated the same , no courtesy cake ( maybe we need to pay for that too ) , bath salts provided only twice ( again cost cutting ) , resort property is good , really good , swimming pool is huge and amazing , we had dinner at Miguel arcanzo restaurant, it was disappointing, no veggie option at all literally, breakfast was disappointing, same food were repeated daily and no local flavour and nothing to harp on food ( limited items in live counter ) again staff were arrogant and bringing a coffee to table , they acted as if they were doing a favour , no smile in cooks face , was I paying 60k/ day for this attitude ??? , Checkout was horrible, had already paid for room and upgrade too , only activity and food bills were supposed to be settled , bill was posted at my door and it showed that upgrade bill was yet to be paid , took 30 mins to solve it , during checkout, no bye , no token gifts , no interaction , it was like being in airport , taj is loosing its warmth and it’s time i check else where from next time where you are treated as guest and not as trespassers

Worst ever experience.. Will never suggest to any1, sitting near the pool from last 45 mins waiting for buggy to come..Writing this review while waiting for the buggy.. We have 4 month and 1 year old infants with us.. We got our rooms late, saying its not available, which we booked 1 month prior.. We have 3 rooms in 1 room ac is not working.. Not changing the room.. Many staff came to us saying ek min ek min.. On asking the name of the the person who handles the buggy, they didnt tell us the name.. Bad food, bad service, bad staff.. Kids are getting cranky.. paid 38 k per rooms per day for 3 days, came here to relax and have fun but got so troubled with the service.. Its like punishment for us.. Our holiday got wasted..

It was a great experience, especially my kids had a wonderful learning and gaming time with Narmin at the Taj Kids. She is wonderful with teaching magic tricks to kids. We went for the 2nd time and my kids were excited to meet her.

Our stay at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Goa was exceptional. The resort is beautifully maintained with lush landscaped gardens, spacious rooms, and direct access to the pristine Benaulim Beach. The hospitality was truly outstanding—every staff member was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our family feel special. The food was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful, luxurious, and perfect for relaxation. Traveling with an infant was very comfortable thanks to the thoughtful service and family-friendly facilities.

Very little to dislike. The resort is spread across a large area, so walking between certain facilities can take some time, especially with a young child. However, the buggy service was prompt and helpful. Other than that, the experience was excellent.

Stayed at Taj Exotica and it was flawless. Beautiful property, spotless rooms, and the staff truly make it special. Huge shoutout to Narmin from the activities team — she had us laughing through every game and made the whole trip feel like home. An amazing experience as always

Very hospitable as usual! Enjoyed the stay thoroughly ! Special mention for Juhi at the restaurant who was very kind and smiling all the time. A special mention for Sunil at the security car valet, Sunil is absolutely exemplary, always smiling, proactive and excited. He seems to love his work!

It was lovely stay experience especially with the little one. Narmin was helpful in engaging the kid. The entire staff was very welcoming for the entire stay.

The food was good and the rooms were lovely and clean. It is very close to a long beach, so good for walking. The sea can be a bit rough to swim in at high tide.

There was a corporate event at the hotel, so on several days we were blasted with music from morning til night. This was totally unacceptable and ruined out stay. I think it is quite common for there to be events/weddings here, so do check before you book. When we complained about the loud music and noise we were told that 'that is how it is here'. We will not be coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at Taj Exotica Goa this week, which was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, a beautiful property with excellent food, warm hospitality, and a very relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return.

We stayed at Taj Exotica Goa for a one-night break, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were traveling as a couple with a toddler and were still given a twin-bed room. After reaching the room, it took multiple calls and long wait times just to get through to guest services—and even then, no resolution. Calls to the duty manager went unanswered despite repeated attempts. We eventually had to settle in because our child needed to sleep, but housekeeping took over an hour to simply join the beds. By then, our toddler had missed his nap window and was completely unsettled. Room service took about an hour, and getting a buggy around the property was nearly impossible—with wait times of 20–25 minutes every single time. We ended up walking everywhere in the heat. The explanation for everything was that there was a wedding and the hotel was busy. But if service cannot be maintained during events, guests should not have to bear the consequences. For a property that markets itself as family-friendly and premium, this was far from acceptable. The only redeeming part of the stay was the beach, which is beautiful—but that has nothing to do with the hotel’s service. Overall, a very poor experience and not what you would expect from the Taj brand.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa. Despite multiple emails prior to arrival and timely payment of 50% of the booking amount as requested, the overall experience fell far below the standards expected from a Taj property. To begin with, early check-in was not accommodated, resulting in a wait of over two hours in the lobby during peak summer heat, without adequate cooling arrangements. This was highly uncomfortable and poorly managed. The buggy/cart service was extremely inefficient and service is very poor in this regard. In particular, the conduct of Mr. Sunil on duty was unprofessional and discourteous when assistance was requested. Such behavior is unacceptable in a hospitality environment. Although the property claims to be pet-friendly and charged over ₹2000 plus taxes for the same, basic amenities for pets were not provided especiallyfor the cat and staff were also not aware. This reflects a lack of commitment to the services being advertised and billed. What was most disappointing was the general attitude of the staff. There appeared to be an indifferent and rigid approach, as if guest concerns were of little importance. The overall impression conveyed was dismissive—almost as if guests had no option but to accept the situation. The checkout experience further compounded the issue. The billing was incorrectly calculated, including unexplained STD charges, and took more than an hour to resolve—again in uncomfortable conditions with inadequate cooling. It was only after the intervention of the Director that the matter was corrected. Additionally, while I did meet the General Manager to share feedback, the response felt rushed and procedural rather than sincere or solution-oriented. This experience has been extremely disappointing and not at all reflective of the standards associated with Taj properties. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that necessary steps are implemented to prevent such occurrences in the future. I would appreciate a detailed response addressing these concerns.

The location was very good and access to beach which was clean and there were sports activities were available for example Para-Sailing. Spa was good and professional

No welcome on arrival and welcome drink or water was offered as we arrived for early checkin at 8 AM in the morning. There was issues with buggy for pickup and one of the staff was very rude when we asked how much time for buggy to come to reach our rooms. Very unprofessional

The Taj is a lovely hotel but spoilt by lazy unmotivated staff especially in the pool area. They give out a service button to press when you want drinks or food but totally ignore it when you request service. In the restaurant you have to wait 40 minutes or more to receive your order which put us off going there at lunchtime and for evening meals. I had such great expectations for this trip but sadly I will not be returning to this hotel.
