Our room was fantastic, lovely and clean, close to the pool

I have stayed at a lot of different resorts in Bali and this was the first time that staff were not particularly friendly.

Afgezien van de werkzaamheden aan het zwembad ( duurt tot eind september) verder niets

The pools were all very clean and centrally situated in relation to accommodation with the beach on the doorstep. the location is excellent on the boardwalk and close to the Icon Mall.

Maybe a bit stricter control with kids around the pools i.e. diving and bombing when there are signs not to do so.

Lovely Balinese feel, this property is beautiful and exceptionally clean Wonderful beach beds at front of hotel, and pools were clean. Breakfast was great and wonderful service, would definitely stay again

Renovations on front pool so no swim up bar however was minimal noise, will need to go back as it will certainly be impressive once completed

The front pool is lovely, however renovations were being undertaken so there was no pool bar. We knew this before we booked and really didnt impact our time around the pool. The location is great, walking distance to most things.

The room had a sewage smell at times. The location of our rooms was not great, right outside the temporary breakfast area. Most mornings we were woken to the cooking smells.

Loved our time at Griya Santrian. Rooms are lovely and the gardens are beautiful. Great location with lots of warungs, shops etc very close, and Icon Mall only a 5 minute walk. Although building works for the new beachside restaurant and pool bar were ongoing it didn't hinder our stay. We will be back!!

We didnt eat at the hotel other than breakfast which was sufficient. Drink prices were on the pricey side (for Bali) after adding taxes, but plenty of bars close by.

We always enjoy our stay at the Griya. Great location, good food and staff couldn’t do enough for you.

At the moment due to the renovations the main pool area feels quite small. As with most resorts you have the usual selfish guests that put their towels out on the chairs as soon as the sun’s up.

Zimmer sind nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, wer sein Handy laden will, muss das entweder im Bad tun oder dafür die Nachttischlampe abstecken, Personal beim Frühstück wirkte etwas überfordert, vielleicht war das aber nur der Kontrast zu dem exzellenten Service, den man sonst so in Bali bekommt. Teil des Gartens war eine Baustelle, aber so gut wie nur irgend möglich abgeschirmt und deshalb hinnehmbar

Es hat wirklich eine tolle Bepflanzung.

Teilweise waren immer noch Bauarbeiten zu hören.

Very balinese with lush gardens and three pools

At first they put me in an upstairs room facing a wall. I had booked a garden view room. I was upset, but they managed to put me in a lovely ground floor room opposite the pool

de kamer, het ontbijt, het strand, de ontvangst. Alles rustig en vriendelijk. Heerlijke bedden, moderne badkamer, lekker ligstoelen op het strand.

Niets. Het was jammer dat het restaurant verbouwd werd, want dat hadden we ook leuk gevonden.

The construction out the front, the noise was sometimes very annoying and we stayed 4 times in May and July and not even a free drink for compensation.

Great rooms , gardens, pools, location and staff!

People put towels on sunbeds at the start of the day for all day then hardly use them. Saw it all the time which makes it difficult for others. Food and drinks a little expensive with the surcharges.

It was calm and clean. The staff were very friendly. Our room was up to date and spacious

Die Anlage war abwechslungsreich angelegt. Beim Check-in gab es ein Upgrade in die nächst höhere Kategorie. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. 15 Minuten nach Betreten des Zimmers folgte der Anruf mit Nachfragen, ob alles zur Zufriedenheit sei.

I like everything about the Griya Santrian, The staff are friendly. The location is fantastic. They were doing renovations which we didn’t even hear and it didn’t stop us using anything at the resort. Would definitely stay there again.

Frühstücksbuffet hätte größer sein können. Beworbene Aktivitäten konnten nicht ausgeführt werden. Defekt im Zimmer sorgte für schlaflose Nacht, da er nicht behoben werden konnte.

C’est un bel hôtel, la chambre était moderne, propre et grande. Il y a 3 piscines et la plage est très belle et propre. Il y a plein de restaurants, boutiques, etc à côté, l’hôtel est bien placé ! Il y a aussi une grande promenade sur la plage à faire à pied ou à vélo où il y a des restaurants et des cafés très sympa.

La nourriture des restaurants de l’hôtel, y compris le petit déjeuner sont sans plus.

Friendly helpful staff, relaxing and peaceful surroundings, walk out to beach , along boardwalk or street. Private and safe location with amazing breakfast. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.

Close to everyone

Food was overpriced and not as good as other nearby restaurants. Drinks were too expensive and cocktails were poor. Sun lounges need to be monitored around the pool . People leaving towels on them all day and not allowing others to use them .

Es war ein überaus freundlicher Empfang. Es wurde alles für uns arrangiert (Fahrer und Ausflug). Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmer Upgrade und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Buffet am morgen lässt keine wünsche offen. Top. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir würden wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Das einzige Problem sind die Gäste. Es werden liegen an mehreren Pools von den gleichen Gästen reserviert. Nachdem 2 mal 2 Plätze über mehr als eine Stunde mit Tüchern reserviert waren kam zwei Damen und überlegten sich für welchen Platz sie sich jetzt entscheiden. Da müsste das Hotel einfach durchgreifen und alle reservierten unbelegten Plätze nach 50 Minuten räumen.

Great place & location, beautiful setting, amazing comfort in large bed, food- we only had breakfast, was wonderful & pools absolutely beautiful. Man cooking eggs at breakfast works very hard to please guests, gardeners , pool cleaners and room cleaners all polite friendly & smiling-great

Trip hazards - so dark to see entry steps outside room, I tripped several times on uneven floor at bathroom entry but only slight graze to arm so ok, & only one power point to access in room ( which was in bathroom) Staff are polite- but reception & dining staff are a little more aloof & distant.

Mooi hotel, prima ligging, de 2 zwembaden waren prima. Voldoende keus bij ontbijt buffet. Wel werkzaamheden naast het hotel en zwembad maar daar hebben we niet veel last van gehad. Lekker restaurant. Fijne ligbedden bij zwembad en op strand.

Eigenlijk viel niks ons tegen.

Resort set in traditional way, lush gardens. 3 pools, staff wonderful, nothing to much trouble. Free room water daily, breakfast good for us , plenty og options, eggs anyway fresh. Room deluxe near middle pool, spacious, clean king bed comfortable, Location perfect in the middle of boardwalk between south & north end, 5 min walk to Icon shopping mall. Overall happy with resort.

Tv is not great kept freezing up , netflix subscription needs to be without ads to work in that region.

We had a wonderful stay at Griya Santrian and would happily come back. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely gardens and a relaxing atmosphere. Its beachfront location is perfect – it was so convenient to walk straight to the beach in our swimwear. The breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved our room's large terrace with a comfortable sofa, which was perfect for relaxing. The hotel is also located directly on the beachfront promenade, with many great restaurants within easy walking distance. Although we only booked breakfast, we also had lunch several times at the hotel's poolside restaurant, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!

Location is good, close to all our favorite restaurants & Sanur is more relaxed with less bogans & drunks. Staff always very pleasant & helpful. Comfy beds & clean rooms. Fridge could have been larger to keep our drinks chilled.

At the time of booking there was no reference to any building works being carried out. We have stayed several times before & always was more than happy with our room & breakfast. This trip the make-do breakfast area was crowded with less choice & long queues. The fishponds outside our room were also being refurbed, noisy & hazardous. The blinds on our room let every outside light in at night, shining on our faces as we tried to sleep. Maintenance came & nailed up a large sheet so we could sleep. A note for smokers, you are no longer able to smoke outside your rooms only in designated areas, totally understand, however a note on their site would allow people to make an informed choice.

Sometimes I felt the staff could be rude when ordering drinks. One particular woman. Cocktails small and they didn’t taste nice. Man was lovely

We enjoy the central Sanur location and beachfront. The resort has amazing gardens, and 3 beautiful pool areas to enjoy. Lovely staff, it will be great once the new restaurant and pool bar reopen .

The pools and facilities were great, the quality of rooms excellent and great to have beach access/loungers. Location excellent and staff great. Buffet breakfast was also excellent.

That the front pool is under construction which we didn't know about. No swim up pool bar as advertised etc.

We spent 5 days and we were extremely happy with our choice. Griya Santrian is a typical  Balinese style resort with absolutely beautiful gardens and statues. The ground staff did an excellent job maintaining the garden on a daily basis. The location was perfect, right on the beach and walking distance to several restaurants bars and shops. Icon mall is located 5 minutes walk away!!The room was spacious, clean and well presented. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom had a large walk in shower recess. The gardens well absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff were polite and always greeted us with a smile. They were always efficient and attentive. The breakfast provided, currently served around the art gallery was wonderful with a great variety of western and indonesian dishes. There is currently a new dining room being built right in front of the beach. We loved our stay at Griya Santrian and look forward to coming back .
