Everything. Beautiful small hotel with nice rooms, comfortable bed and lovely pool and gardens. Close to Icon Bali Mall and the beach, but very quiet!! Loved this place. Highly recommended.

I can’t fault this property it’s beyond excellent. The most relaxing stay I’ve ever had. The grounds are stunning, it’s only small with a beautiful pool and a small temple onsite which I found very spiritual. I’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels and this beats them all

Hôtel magnifique, très propre et agréable. Le personnel est adorable, accueillant et vraiment attentionné. Je devais partir très tôt le matin pour prendre mon ferry et ils ont eu la gentillesse de me préparer un petit déjeuner à emporter. Une attention que j’ai énormément appréciée. J’y ai passé une très belle première nuit à Bali !

Staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was beautiful overlooking the pool and very clean. It has a fridge, water bottles, tea and coffees with a kettle. The place is very close to the icon mall and promenade... Very convenient.

This is our second stay at Kayu Sugih Palace. It's still great value for money with lovely staff in a quiet location while still being close to everything you need for a few days in Sanur. We were on the second floor this time and found it slightly smaller than the ground floor rooms. The room was clean, fresh water daily and plenty of options for breakfast

レンボンガン島のツアーに参加する際、朝食が7∶30からのため途中できり上げました。朝食ボックスもできないと言われました。

Lovely quiet boutique accommodation off the main road. Fabulous location. 4 min walk to Icon mall, lots of good eating places few minutes walk away. Part of the pool area was shaded which was perfect in the heat. Lovely friendly staff.

Жили в семейном номере, но по факту это оказались 2 соединённые внутренней дверью комнаты с разными входами. При входе сразу стоит кровать и нет зоны где можно снять обувь, повесить одежду. Шкаф для одежды очень маленький. Вероятно, отель первоначально был жилым домом, который переделали в отель. Поэтому расположение мебели и оборудования в комнате неудобны. В кухне нет кондиционера, висит вентилятор и душновато. Обстановка комнат требует обновления ( на стенах есть трещины, сломался кондиционер, который благодаря очень быстрой реакции персонала был занемен на новый, оборудование кухни старое). Завтраки заказывали ежедневно из определенных позиций, ничего нельзя поменять. В целом вкусно, но однообразно. В целом отель хороший, но не 4 звезды и стоимость семейного номера завышена.

We stayed one night at Kayu Sugih Palace with our family and were very pleased. The hotel is just a stone's throw from Icon Bali and the beautiful Sanur boulevard, yet wonderfully quiet — a great combination of accessibility and relaxation. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly maintained. You can tell great attention to detail goes into the cleaning and upkeep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was well taken care of, with plenty of choice to start the day right. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and quiet near Sanur, without being far from the boulevard and attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

Pool was a little bit cool

Hotel is small and friendly in beautiful grounds yet only 2 mins from the main road thru Sanur and 10 mins to the beach. Pool is small but very pretty.

Breakfast was just hopeless. There’s one person serving and everything came out literally one plate for one person at a time. That’s a plate for fruits, one for toast, and one for eggs. Plus coffee. We are a family of 6 and it took us over an hour to get served! Hotel is also quite expensive.

Perfect location near the top end of Sanur. The neatness, cleanliness and quietness was exceptional. The breakfast choices were not extensive but were certainly enough to satisfy most people. There is only a small number of rooms which adds to the peacefulness of the area. The staff were so courteous, friendly and helpful . This was our first stay at Kayu Sugih but we look forward to staying there again before too much longer.

You hear everything! The walls are so thin, you hear your neighbours talking very clearly. And it was very small, luggage I kept in the bathroom

The location was perfect- the guest house rooms , the garden, the pool - all were absolutely fabulous. The care to detail was amazing. Breakfast was lovely, choice of main meals accompanied by a fruit plate and juice , toast and tea or coffee. The setting perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Toiletries were provided. The shopping mall was a 3 minute walk away; walking through it led to the beach area. It couldn’t have been easier. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Kayu Sugih Palace was a beautiful stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. I had the omelette and the breakfast bowl. It’s not far to walk anywhere. The pool was clean and the grounds were kept clean.

It’s a quiet and peaceful place in a busy Sanur district. Walking distance from hotel to iconic Bali shopping mall and beach walk. Staff are exceptional and the room so comfortable and cozy, plus facing sunrise and you can just open the balcony door and watch sunrise. The manager and staff helped us to store our luggage and arranged ferry tickets for us as well. I stayed two nights but will definitely come back to this hotel.

Stunning place, so cozy, so peaceful surrounded by an amazing garden. Very clean with all comfort. 2 mins walk and you are at Icon mall Bali on the beautiful promenade. I would go back to this place immediately!!!

They don’t have their restaurant but you can easily order food from grab or eat at any nice place litellay outside the property.

Wunderschönes Zimmer, zauberhafter, tropischer Garten und Pool. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück in einem Pavillon im balinesischen Stil. Wir haben uns gefühlt, als seien wir bei lieben Freunden zu Besuch. Zum Strand ging es nur über eine Straße und durch eine Hotelanlage. Wir wohnten gar nicht weit entfernt von der lärmenden Szraße, hatten aber die totale Ruhe.

Der Ausblick auf die Invest-Ruine neben dem Icon Bali.

Breakfast was OK. Would have liked some Balinese coffee, in preference to instant.

The room was too small - no place to open the 2 suitcases we had.

What a great location!! Kayu Sugih is down a short driveway, and is so quiet and peaceful. The staff are so friendly and helpful especially Yoga! Room is clean and fresh. Pool is wonderful and water fresh after a long walk. Gardens are beautiful and well kept. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was adequate to start the day.

Only thing missing was a smart tv.

Think breakfast could be a little bit better

It's a small resort very close to Icon mall. So in terms of location, if you want beach access but don't want the crowd and noises of the beach, this is the right place to be. The staff is very kind and helpful

In terms of maintenance and cleanliness, there is potential to improve but the management is friendly and always available to help as much as possible

Small boutique hotel in good location. Just 5 minutes to Icon mall and beach. There's a small, well maintained pool with deck chairs and pool towels are provided. Rooms are very clean and air-conditioned with a good sized bathroom. Fresh fluffy bath towels are provided each day.

The breakfast is adequate but could be improved. Tip .. the quickest way to the beach is through the Icon Mall.

We hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad. Het personeel is uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en staat altijd klaar om te helpen; als je iets nodig hebt, doen ze echt hun best om het voor je te regelen. Het is een kleinschalig en verzorgd complex met mooie, nette kamers waar eigenlijk niets aan ontbreekt. De tuin met zwembad is prachtig en voelt als een rustige oase, terwijl je toch midden in het centrum zit en alles op loopafstand is. Ook de minibar bij de receptie, de gratis te gebruiken badhanddoeken en de snelle wasservice (met 6 uur klaar) zijn fijne extra’s.

Er was weinig tot geen persoonlijk contact dan een enkel knikje of een ‘goedemorgen’. Het ontbijt kan beter. De ontbijtruimte is buiten, waardoor het heel erg warm is en de airco die er staat nauwelijks effect heeft. Daarnaast duurde het ontbijt vrij lang en was niet efficiënt. De bediening lijkt onderbezet in dit onderdeel. Het bed was voor mij aan de harde kant, al sliep mijn man er juist prima op. De wifi werkt goed, maar hapert af en toe. Tot slot zouden wat extra haakjes aan de muur in de kamer en badkamer handig zijn.

Mooie schone kamer met een grote badkamer. Kleinschalig en de omgeving enn de rust.

Tucked away and quiet yet close to everything. Clean, balinese gardens and pool is nice. The rooms are refreshingly modern. Nice breakfast.

One negative: When checking out, I asked the young lady at reception for her to call me a Bluebird taxi. She said it would be 15 minutes(no issue). Then a private driver arrived and she said it was my taxi. I said I want a bluebird taxi. Her and the driver basically insisted i take it. After negotiating the inflated price down. Had it not been raining I would’ve walked to the main road. Very disappointing experience to finish my holiday.

The location was perfect. We walked out the land and left to explore the street or right to go through icon mall to access the beach and lots of places to eat. We hired a bike to explore along the beach for the full length of Sanur. The pool was small but a really nice area. The gardens were beautiful. The area for breakfast was lovely. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The day we left to go to Ubud, my daughter realised that evening that she left a bunch of shopping items in out of the cupboards. She was very upset. I messaged the staff who confirmed the items were found by the staff that cleaned the rooms and had been left at reception. They held onto the items for us until we came back to Dempasar to collect on our way home. We were very grateful.

The rooms were not very large so not a lot of room for luggage, but we spent so little time in the rooms it didn't matter.

A beautiful small hotel hidden in a small laneway in Sanur. So very quiet and peaceful away the hustle and bustle of local streets. Very close to The Icon shopping mall and walking distance to the beach. The hotel is set in a beautiful garden with a small pool. A lovely dining area for breakfast and even a small temple within the complex. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I would definitely return for another stay.
