Premier hotel Great location, breakfast and facilities

The staff at reception and waitors/waitresses at the Lacuna restaurant were absolutely wonderful! They are professional, friendly, helpful - to the extent of even printing my presentation notes. The restaurant is very aesthetic, comfortable and a really good spot to get work done. There are multiple power plug points positioned at or near tables, which is super convenient.

The cleaning staff are letting the hotel down. The cleaning if the rooms, room carpets, carpets in the corridors, bathrooms, tea station and kettle in the room needs improvement. The lighting in the room needs attention - it is actually quite dull.

The lawn, flowers, pool looked lovely even though we did not swim. Nice and central. Breakfasts were good and the one dinner we had there.

The service at dinner was a little slow, the coffee machine needed a service, didn’t work great. The blind going to the balcony, didn’t roll up. The drain in the basin needs to be cleaned.

There was a water pipe in the room that ran the entire night and I couldn’t sleep it really disturbed us.

Some of the restaurant staff were slow and even unhelpful ( eg person at the Cappuccino machine). Also one of reception staff was a bit stand offish.

It is a beautiful luxury hotel. And the fact that it is in Sandton makes it even more luxurious

I had to go downstairs for breakfast there’s no room service and I ended up leaving without eating because I didn’t want to subject myself to the cold weather

The shower didn’t work properly. I am local and was could see that the staff wanted to wait on international guests.

Excellent location, great ambience. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Loved the shuttle every 30 minutes to & from Sandton mall. Staff were friendly, always welcoming, ready to assist.

Breakfast was hit & miss; sometimes served cold & wish they had more variety daily. After 3 days it became monotonous.

The reception was terrible. I booked a suite and was not happy at all - not even fruits or sweets to welcome us in the room. we carried our own luggage to the room while porters were standing at the door. Even after reporting and informing the reception that we would cut our stay and check out the following morning still no apology was extended.

everything was on point except i had to pay for early check in

The ambience was excellent, and the staff were super-friendly. Food was great in variety and. Taste. The hotel compound is clean and green.

I like using stairs, rather than lifts. Many times in early morning when I want to take a walk starting with the stairs, they were locked. The absence of ironing board and iron in the room. Although a number was provided to call for them.

Did room service, lovely person who served us and it was fresh from the pan. Breakfast was lovely too, love the setup.

Room plugs was not working properly and the room wall was under construction by the tv.

Great Location. Great Facilities. Restaurant was good and staff helpful. Their conference Center is really good. Rooms were clean. I especially like that the keep filling the water bottles in every room cleaning session :)

All was. Good. Minor hiccup in Lounge area, where it took some time to get new towels and clean the shower area but it didn't affect a overall good impression.
