The location was excellent and the staff very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and the decor was in keeping with Pompeii. Once we removed the waterproof sheet from the bed, we had very comfortable nights. Breakfast was adequate, apart from the orange juice. However freshly squeezed orange juice was available on request ( chargeable ) The restaurant attached was amazing!!

As above, waterproof sheets do not belong in a hotel like Hotel del sole. We also missed having bedside lights.

L’emplacement proche de l’entrée du site antique de Pompéi.

À notre avis cet hôtel n’a pas les caractéristiques d’un établissement 4 étoiles. Pas de café à disposition ( uniquement du thé), pas de bouteille d’eau gratuite, produit de douche de faible qualité, odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain, porte de douche cassée, traces de moisi. Petit déjeuner très moyen, loin d’un 4 étoiles. Personnel du bar très désagréable qu’on a l’impression de déranger à chaque commande. Nous avons demandé d’acheter 2 bouteilles d’eau qu’on nous a refusé !!! Sans commentaire…

The hotel is right by the gate to the excavations by the amphitheatre. We had pre booked tickets so were able to walk straight in when it opened and before it got crowded. The in house restaurant was good and we found some great eating places close by too (some incredibly cheap but still first class food)

We booked a Superior Suite and it was fantastic. It was Spacious and very comfortable, overlooking the Pompeii Archeology Site. The atmosphere of the room was reflective of the area, which we loved. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable, served in a dining room upstairs. And the staff were very helpful, with tips on what to do and booking us taxi's when needed. Highly recommend this property, right near the centre of town with lots of restaurants nearby. Thought it was great value for money.

A limpeza do quarto deixou a desejar. Na primeira noite minhas meias ficaram cheias de pelos de animais, sei que o hotel é pet friendly, então mais um motivo para cuidarem melhor da limpeza do quarto

Location was brilliant. Very clean

Breakfast had a good selection but the hot items were always freezing cold. Poor for a 4 star rated property. On arrival we only had 2 bottles of water in the mini bar. Despite going to reception we still couldn't get milk on arrival so couldn't even have a cup of tea. The real let down was that the breakfast room sits on the top floor so as as soon as it gets to 7am the noise from people moving their chairs above you is deafening. No chance of a lay in at all. When you are staying in the most expensive suite in the Hotel thats disappointing.

The location was outstanding for visiting the archeological site. The restaurant was excellent. In fact we ate there both nights of our stay.

Los trabajadores ,super amables,llegamos a las 23.00 y el señor que nos atendió,muy amable,nos ayudó con las maletas de la moto y todo lo que llevábamos.. Parking privado ,cerrado. El desayuno bastante completo y bueno . Lo único que me dejó un poco decepcionado ,el café,que era de estas máquinas que lo preparan solas. Lo demás, muy bien ,el restaurante,bastante bien. Habitaciones más modernas de lo que pensábamos ,muy cómodas y limpias

Loved the location, good spacious car parking, the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lovely lady who spoke with us during breakfast, genuinely interested to hear about our day, giving us recommendations of places to visit. Good selection of food for breakfast. Toller Ausblick und nettes Personal

Nos gustó mucho la ubicación del hotel y sobre todo la amabilidad de su personal. Te reciben con un ticket para reclamar un cóctel de bienvenida en el bar/restaurante que tienen internamente el cual es buenísimo, la comida es exquisita y la atención de los camareros es excelente. También nos gustó que tiene parking privado. Teníamos un tour por Pompeya y nos hicieron el favor de dejar el coche allí por una hora y media después del check out que era cuando terminaba el tour. En general, recomiendo hospedarse en este hotel.

A pesar de lo bonito que es el hotel en general, la habitación no nos dio esa impresión, creo podría ser mejor a lo ofrecido ya que los espacios son amplios. Las camas y las almohadas no eran muy cómodas pero por una noche o pocas más, es manejable.

Beliggenheten er prima! Det å sitte og se ned på ruinene av Pompei og Vesuv når man spiser frokost er nesten surrealistisk. Du har også inngang til ruinene rett over gata - og for oss som kun var i Pompei for å se ruinene, var det helt supert. Bakevarene til frokost var fantastiske, men det er egentlig det eneste positive jeg har å si om frokosten, bortsett fra utsikten. Personalet er veldig behjelpelige og serviceinnstilte. Pluss for meget effektiv A/C på rommet.

Slitent hotell. Rommet hadde trengt en grundig oppdatering, det bærer preg av mange års bruk uten at det er gjort noe med det. Vi skulle bare sove der to netter, så vi gjorde det beste ut av det, men hadde vi skullet være der lenger hadde jeg begynt å grine av hvor utrivelig rommet var. Frokosten er i beste fall middelmådig. Bakevarene er supre, men ellers var det ikke noe å skrive hjem om.

La posizione è perfetta, a poche centinaia di metri dal cancello del parco archeologico. Molto gradito il parcheggio interno. La sala della colazione ch eaffaccia sugli scavi di pompei vale il viaggio

Plenty of room.

Měli jsme dva pokoje. Jeden ekonomy opravdu mini pokoj,sprcha i wc. Okna stará dřevěná nešla dovřít a byl z venku slyšet večerní i noční ruch, dole asi zahrádka u restaurace a bylo hodně veselo až do 3hod v noci. Druhý pokoj standard byl lepší. Příště raději připlatit pár stovek za pokoj standard. Snídaně dobré, myslím že v 5. patře, krásný výhled. Umístění hotelu TOP, 2min od vchodu do Pompejí. Parkoviště malé ale mají.

Na přespání při návštěvě Pompejí super, jinak velmi malé pokoje a starší zařízení. Raději připlaťte za pokoj Standard, Ekonomy nebrat.

Great location within walking distance from the train station and facing the archaeological park. The room was adequate for our needs although could not understand there being a kettle and 2 tea bags but no coffee or milk! The lady in charge of breakfast was extremely welcoming and helpful. There was a good choice of food made all the better by the view as the breakfast room is on the 4th floor. We stayed for 4 nights and as we had a packed agenda booked half board which was a huge disappointment. The restaurant is connected to the hotel but also open to the public and could be noisy as our room was situated above. The menu for half board was very limiting made worse by the fact that we had to pay service charge, of which we were unaware, every night !

La nostra camera economy era decisamente da rinnovare, d'accordo che era economy ma stiamo parlando sempre di un quattro stelle e basterebbe poco per fare delle migliorie. Non era assolutamente in linea con il prezzo pagato.

Almost directly opposite the gates to Pompeii ruins. Near a few restaurants. 10 mins walk to a supermarket Family room was a lobby and 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom. Lovely setup. Parking safe and secure. View at breakfast over Vesuvius and the ruins.

Room was basic. No double glazing and the road noise was endless all night. Looked like other rooms had been renovated when glancing in. Hopefully the family room will be soon!

L'hôtel est beau et confortable. La vue de la salle du petit déjeuner est incroyable. L'hôtel est situé en face de l'entrée du parc archéologique. On peut facilement garer la voiture. Nous nous sommes aussi régalées le soir au restaurant de l'hôtel. Un excellent séjour..

Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber von den Ruinen und bietet, besonders vom Frühstücksraum aus, einen schönen Ausblick. Zu dem Hotel gehört ein abgesperrter und kameraüberwachter Parkplatz. Außerdem gehört ein Restaurant zu dem Hotel. Das Essen dort ist sehr lecker, das Personal freundlich und man bekommt ein Willkommensgetränk. Man sollte vorher nur lieber einen Tisch reservieren. Ansonsten ist man zu Fuß schnell im Zentrum und in der Nähe des Hotels gibt es viele Restaurants.

Das Frühstück könnte deutlich reichhaltiger sein und vieles hat mir leider nicht geschmeckt, obwohl ich fast alles esse. Außerdem bräuchte die Dusche mal wieder eine Renovierung.

Emplacement à seulement quelques petits pas du site archéologique de Pompéi. Personnel parlant français, accueillant et compréhensif. Parking en cour intérieur. Belle vue du Vésuve depuis le 4e étage en salle de restauration.

Les chambres, la toiletterie sont vieillottes, de grandes rénovations sont nécessaires. On voit parfois les fissures au plafond et on ressent la chaleur étouffante dans les couloirs. La notation 4 étoiles est un peu contradictoire malgré le bel emplacement.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Pompeï et personnel très agréable et accueillant.

Die Lage war fantastisch, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück sehr abwechslungsreich.

Hotel bardzo czysty, miła obsługa, śniadania smaczne. Bardzo pyszne jedzenie w hotelowej restauracji. Lodówka i klimatyzacja działające bez zarzutu. Ogromnym atutem jest lokalizacja hotelu - wejście do ruin ok. 100m od hotelu. Polecam🙃🙂

Location and breakfast. We can’t because of the concert and hotel was in front of entrance.

The Wi-Fi connection is terrible. We were on the 3rd floor, and the connection barely worked. We also had to ask the staff for toilet paper and slippers because they were missing. It is also quite strange that complimentary water is not provided- even in simple apartments, it is usually available for free.

L hotel n est pas digne d'un 4etoiles. La climatisation. Marche mal et est irrégulière dans tout l hotel! Le mélange dans la salle de bain n est pas fait en détail . Pas de renouvellement de produit d ' hygiène au quotidien et ceux ci sont bas de gamme aps digne d' un 4 étoiles Idem pour le petit déjeuner qui n' est pas qualitatif

Hotel situato al centro di Pompei proprio davanti l’entrata degli scavi, staff gentile , sala colazione con affaccio sugli scavi fantastica, camera pulita, la cosa che guardo prima di tutto quando soggiorno negli hotel è il parcheggio e in questo caso ottimo servizio, cancello automatico con apertura tramite citofono .

Lavandino del bagno troppo piccolo con la mensola appena sopra , la doccia grande walk in ma solo con il doccino senza soffione, letto comodo ma erano due singoli uniti..

Bardzo fajny hotel. Do dyspozycji bar, pizzeria, restauracja, kawiarnia. Położony na przeciwko parku archeologicznego w Pompejach. Śniadania w formie bufetu na najwyższym piętrze z widokiem na ruiny. Prawie w centrum. Po prostu bajka. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Szczególnie Pani (szefowa sali) witająca gości z uśmiechem podczas śniadań, znająca kilka języków, chętnie udzielała wskazówek dotyczących najlepszych możliwości zwiedzania, poruszania się po terenie, spędzenia czasu. Z pewnością tu wrócę, wam też polecam.

il personale è stato gentilissimo

il livello delle camere e dei bagni è molto lontano da un 4 stelle. tutto faceva odore di acido acetico usato per il lavaggio lenzuola/asciugamani. la stanza di ingresso, la finestra del bagno e della camera avevano infissi vecchi che non chiudevano e lasciavano entrare aria, suoni e luce, con conseguente fastidio notturno. il materasso mi ha causato una riacutizzazione di una lombalgia dopo 2 notti

A helyszín és a szálloda önmagában teljesen megfelelő, a reggeliző helységből nagyon szép kilátás nyílik a Pompei ásatásra és a Vezúvra. A félpanzió nagyon jó, igen kiadós adagokat adnak, előétel, főétel+kiegészítő fogás, sütemény. A reggeli svédasztalos. A tömegközlekedés nagyon jó (3 vasúti megálló, és a Vezúv busz is nagyon közel van). A közelben elérhető szupermarket is. Közel van a szép főtér, ill. ajándékos boltok. Az udvaron ketrecben elhelyezett hatalmas papagáj jópofa.

Sajnos a szoba elhelyezkedése jelentősen rosszabb volt, mint amire számítottunk. Gazdaságos szobát foglaltunk, ennek az erkélye egy belső udvarra nyílt, ahol a hotel légkondicionálóinak kültéri egységei működtek. A 2. szinten voltunk, onnan semmi kilátás nem volt, kivéve ez a belső zárt udvart. Lehet hogy a sima, fentebbi szobáknál jobb a helyzet. Kis szappan és sampon készletet adnak. Az étkezésnél a választék nem változik, de ez csak akkor tűnik fel, ha valaki hosszabb időre marad. A papagáj néha kotyog, ez zavarhat egyeseket. A félpanziós ellátásnál kötelezően 3 EUR/fő/vacsora szervízdíj van.

Sur les deux chambres, une était rénovée mais pas l'autre. La chambre non rénovée ne devrait pas être mis à la disposition de la clientèle car pas digne du standing de l'hôtel.

Tre camere prenotate nello stesso hotel: due Standard e, per mio errore, una Economy. Le Standard sono nettamente migliori, ma comunque non all’altezza di un 4 stelle. L’Economy, al secondo piano, sembra invece appartenere a una struttura diversa. Capisco perfettamente che una camera Economy possa essere più semplice, più piccola o meno panoramica. Ma “Economy” non può significare abbassare lo standard dell’hotel di due categorie. Ho prenotato una Economy in un hotel 4 stelle, non una camera da ristrutturare all’interno di un 4 stelle( e si, ho chiesto un cambio ma non c’era disponibilità). Ho sempre odiato il campeggio. Evidentemente bastava prenotare una Economy in un 4 stelle per riscoprirne l’atmosfera.

Abbiamo soggiornato in tre dal 9 al 11 agosto Personale molto gentile è disponibile. La vista su al quarto piano nella sala colazione è impagabile. La signora Ornella è gentilissima, è molto preparata sulla storia della città.Ritorneremo sicuramente

Posizione perfetta davanti agli scavi di Pompei, per chi ha figli vicino c’è un parco giochi molto fornito e divertente. Lo staff gentile disponibile e accogliente, un saluto particolare al gruppo “colazione “ molto simpatiche! Colazione abbondante e internazionale, tutto buono. Gradito il cocktail di benvenuto offerto dal hotel. Le camere ampie e ben pulite e moderne. Parcheggio privato .

For visiting the site of Pompeii, the location is perfect. It is a short walk to the main piazza and shopping centre as well. It is an easy walk to the train station. One outstanding feature is the breakfast - fabulous- both the view of Vesuvius, the food, and the staff. The reception staff were also great, and there 24 hours a day.

The room itself was a little bare. The TV was small, but I was not there to watch TV (this might be a factor to consider in rainy weather). The bidet is a separate wand style. This worked fine, although mine leaked a bit and made a small puddle on the floor.

The location of the Hotel del Sole was amazing. We booked a suite which overlooked the Roman ruins. Secure free parking was great. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

The only things that detracted from our stay was the lift wasn't working on the day we arrived due to a thunderstorm earlier in the day, but this was sorted by the next day when we left. Also, the refrigerator in our suite wasn't very cold and the toilet didn't flush very well. The shower wasnt very good either. If these little things were fixed would be a massive improvement.

Hôtel très bien placé pour visiter les ruines de Pompei. Il dispose d'un parking gratuit. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et la salle du petit déjeuner est au 4ème étage et donne sur les ruines.

Ci è stato chiesto un contributo di 25 EURO per il nostro cagnolino di 9 kg...e ci tengo a dire che in cambio non ci è stato dato nulla, nemmeno un biscottino. Cosa vergognosa che andrebbe quantomeno SPECIFICATA.

Sicuramente la posizione, praticamente davanti l’ingresso agli scavi.

Il bagno era estremamente piccolo. Aprendo la porta dei servizi ti trovi davanti la tazza del wc dopo nemmeno 50cm. Nel lavandino e bidet, aprendo i rubinetti si sentiva un sibilo fastidioso. Ho trovato la tv inclinata verso il soffitto ed è stato necessario usare particolare forza per inclinarla verso il letto come dovrebbe essere.

Infrastrutture vetuste, pulizia camere da rivedere, al livello di un 3 stelle a voler essere magnanimi.

O apartamento familiar não tinha o mesmo cuidado e conforto em relação aos outros quartos do hotel. Paredes riscadas e sujas.
