Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton

Location

Noise

Clean, renovated with very pleasant staff

All was great

Everything

No complaints

Clean and well stocked. Good pool and jaccuzi!

Only the price. Toilet papet could be better.

Clean and accessible

Elevators were extremely slow.

Everything was really good, especially the food and the restaurant staff.

There was a high level of chlorine in the pool room. My eyes started to sting and were still stinging when I went to bed. We wanted to sit in the hot tub for a bit, but it was unbearable.

My family and I travelled to Hamilton for our son’s lacrosse tournament. We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Large, clean, spacious rooms, updated. Keurig pod coffee maker in room was nice to have. The pool was small, but my kids loved it. The Courtyard was a nice shaded, private area for our families to gather and let the kids play. It was conveniently located just off the highway, with restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were friendly and there was lots of parking. The only suggestion I would have, is if the hotel provided a continental breakfast for their guests to enjoy, it means a lot for families to be able to have that. ( the hotel does have a restaurant you can sit and order to have breakfast, with Starbucks. We would highly recommend and stay again.

Convenient location. Did not have breakfast first day because I was told it was not included when in fact it was. Subsequent days did not have breakfast because it was served at 6:30. A little late for me.

Asked for ground level accommodations, was put in the second floor. Had to come back to reception 2x because keys to room 210 would not work. Subsequently put in room 202.

Nothing more to say

Limited breakfast food

Courteous staff , neat and clean

Lovely place

Unfortunately could not partake in breakfast as I was picked up at 6.00am to catch my flight back to Vancouver.

In the morning toilet did not flush.

Very friendly staff. The beds are extremely comfortable. The room was quiet, which is very important to me. I was able to get a room with a bathtub, which is rare these days. We were given a late checkout without having to pay, even though we offered to.

The sign at night is not lit up. It is hard to find the driveway at night.

Clean friendly staff and great location.

Nothing

they had a beautiful lounge area that was well used by people just talking and having a good time

the signage is easy to miss lots of trees seem to almost block it out

Location

Nothing

Near a lot of food places. Easy commute to highway

The vents were really dirty. And the ac kept going off which meant the dirt from the vents were blowing into the air and we were breathing it. Swimming pool had to much chlorine that it was burning our eyes and we weren’t swimming either.

Clean and quiet. Pool was small but not busy.

Room could have used more lighting.

Staff was courteous and professional

Easy to find, Parking available. Staff friendly. Over all very good b

Towels!! Very small.

location

bed very uncomfortable, hard. Pillows too soft and provide no support. Couldn't sleep the whole time during stay, had sore pressure points from firm bed. No duvet or extra layer of bedding for added comfort. Toilet role dispenser not screwed into wall, kept dislodging from wall.

The property was clean in a good location. The premises had a pool, gym and cafe that serves breakfast , lunch and dinner. Comfortable beds and large rooms

All good no real downsize except only 1 elevator

I liked that check out was at 12 without asking. The hot tub and pool were great. The courtyard in the back was so cute !

That I had to leave hahah

Breakfast too expensive...Dennigers down the road much better choice....

Nothing..I love this hotel...

The location. So close to the airport.

All went well.

Convenient location Clean, comfortable room Great amenities in dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) Free parking

Our room (#200) did not have hot water, only warm. It would have been nicer to have a warmer shower . Upon checkout, we didn't bother having showers.

very convenient

should have a microwave in the room. Wifi hookup was confusing,

Nice property

They are not very accommodating to wedding guests from out of town and their needs on the wedding day. Guests do not have the ability to ready themselves prior to the wedding without having to book the room the day prior. There should be be wedding packages for rooms so out of town guests can dress and be ready for a 3 pm wedding 5 km away. This service would relieve them of having to travel to the wedding with their travel bags. In doing so would give the guest the option to take alternate transportation and not drive after drinking. A lobby bathroom is not an appropriate alternative for such an occasion. This turned away some of my guests.

Cleanliness and very courteous staff.

I booked 2 rooms here for a recent convention. The second room was not needed due to an emergency BUT the cancellation was not made 72 HOURS in advance so I was charged full price for the room! I politely explained to a manager in a subsequent phone call yet was told nothing could be done. I would understand if it were peak season but in mid November when the place was half empty!! I personally stay in different hotels 50-70 nights per year and am responsible for booking 300+ room nights per year for my staff. Ridiculous that no exception would be made, poor business practice.

I liked the fact that my breakfast was included in my stay. Sad they had no oatmeal but the yogurt, bagel & coffee did the job!

There was no fan in the bathroom which I thought was odd but we didn't use the shower so it didn't matter this visit.

Nothing. This booking was not advertised appropriately. There was no Jacuzzi and the staff was very rude about the booking and said it was the site‘s fault that the ad was wrong and that they haven’t had Jacuzzis at that property for a long time. They also said they only had two double bedswhen we had booked a king this was for A very important anniversary and it was ruined. We did not end up staying.

It was a great place to stay when a family member was at St. Joseph’s hospital for a few days. It was clean, quiet and in the midst of lots of restaurants. Good location! And only about 15 minutes to the hospital. The rooms are wonderful! They have a fridge and microwave and coffee/tea maker. The bathroom was lovely and had a walk in glass shower. The view was beautiful- looking onto the park/river out back. We used the pool and hot tub and on-site restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

As advertised. Clean and quiet. But the Starbucks for a very expensive breakfast was a bit of a surprise. The first day I was served breakfast by a very nice and polite wait staff. The second day…a surly rude adult male that still wears his pants half way down his underwear!

I do not like these surveys. If you want me to do your marketing research for you, then hire me, otherwise lower your prices.

The pool and hot tub were not in service. We booked this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. Very disappointed

Location near family. Hotel had been refurbished.

Passcard for hotel rooms stopped working before we checked out. Checkout was noon. We had 2 rooms. My daughter went to gym and passcard did not work upon her return. She went to reception to get it enabled. My room passcard did not work after walk. I went to reception 2x to get card enabled which still didn't work. Finally, housekeeping had to come as door lock was completely dead. Receptionist was not apologetic.for my inconvenience or concerned at all.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Very easy parking and super helpful staff.

Hi paid a security deposit and have not had it refunded - try contacting them through the app and had no response!

Excellent location on Upper James Hamilton. Great for our stay as we were visiting relatives who live nearby. Close to bars, restaurants and coffee shops and a short uber ride into downtown Hamilton. Ticked all the boxes for us. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. We had arrived from the airport after a cruise vacation and before heading back to the UK so we had lots of luggage. Large elevator therefore a huge bonus.

Breakfast could have been better. Very limited and served like fast food. Limited drinks available at the bar.

Nice convenient hotel.

Clean and tidy room. Very nice lobby area.

This is one of the cleanest hotels that I have been to in a long time. The room was absolutely spotless. The hotel smelled clean and the service was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

All was great

It was very nice and still seemed new

Clean and convenient

Fan was so loud, on and off all night.

Room clean and comgortable

I think this Marriott was a fantastic and refreshing experience in service and quality. Thank you.

We liked the cleanliness and everything being new. Loved the courtyard with the waterfall and quiet space.

ALL good!

Parking was free, check in was simple and quick, staff were friendly and efficient, room was impeccable!!

Only thing that was wrong was no shampoo

I found it very quiet. Nice clean and spacious room.

Only option for hot water in the room was the coffee machine. I’m not a fan of coffee flavoured hot water. Had to go to the lobby restaurant to get hot water. And for the coffee, there was only one strength of pod provided. I found it was actually pretty good, but others might prefer a choice of strengths.

Everything was ok

Clean rooms and quiet. Good for an overnight stay.

We had a great stay at this property! It was exactly what we needed and so close to the airport. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay. Quiet b

We love staying at courtyard hamilton once a year when we visit Canada, and the room was amazing! We will book a suite again for sure! The location is perfect and the staff are always friendly. Unfortunately, the hot tub and pool weren’t in service again during our stay which was a let down! Our house keeping staff only came one day (the second one) to clean our room (we had a five night 6 day stay) and had to go to the front desk with dirty towels to ask for some clean ones. That wasn’t very nice. We would say housekeeping needs to come more often than one day if we are there more than 3 days.

Awful check in experience, worst sleep ever
