We loved the rooftop Plank patio. The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and friendly and the vibe at night was amazing.

There were 3 individuals talking very loudly in the hallway on the 4th floor and this woke me up at 3 am. Sound proofing from the hallway could be better potentially?

Kitchen utensils needed cleaned. Previous occupant had left a wash bag in bathroom and it was not removed.

It was very comfortable and well located. I was there to recover from surgery over several days and I could not have asked for a better place! There were pharmacies and good restaurants nearby.

Well, it's not their fault but the view from the room was pretty bad-dumpsters, parking lot and drug-using vagrants.

Excellent location, surprisingly quiet, bright with full balcony, modern kitchen, living quarters provided everything needed. High ceilings gave spacious feel.

Constant use of code, but appreciated the security. Someone’s washcloth/cleaning cloth left in our bathroom. Clever glass panel to provide some natural light in bedroom but someone needs to fix broken pull chord. Shower stall floor quite slippery.

The kitchen is equipped and everything seemed clean, the living room is OK, and so is the small bedroom.

The area around the building is full of homeless people and other strange characters. The garage is very dirty, and although you have to pay to use it, there’s no guarantee you’ll get a free spot. Directly below the living room windows is a restaurant terrace, so expect noise. Expect the same from the rest of the building — the room isn’t insulated in any way from the busy public areas (hallways and the elevator). The room has basic furnishings that are fairly OK. A bottle of water is standard everywhere these days, but not here. The bathroom is basic in both equipment and quality.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but the code that was needed to enter was needed so many times. I totally get it for security but it was a little tedious, but again that’s not necessarily a bad thing

I stayed in a pink room. It was such a great place and highly curated art pieces. Kitchen was COMPLETE of everything needed. Feel very much at home. Close to GO bus station which is ideal for me. I went to look around places where Heated Rivalry was shot and this is very much the ideal place to stay in. Staff (through phone texts) were very helpful and understanding.

0/5 stars. We are not the type of people who leave negative reviews or complain. In fact, we almost never do. We also intentionally waited nearly three months before posting this review because we genuinely hoped the hotel would make things right. Unfortunately, they have chosen not to. This experience has been handled so poorly that we feel obligated to warn others. This was, without question, the most despicable hotel experience we have ever had, not because another guest violated the hotel’s smoke free policy, but because of the way management handled the situation. We specifically booked this hotel because it advertises itself as a 100 percent smoke free property. From the moment we arrived, the elevator, hallway, and our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We reported the issue immediately. Instead of taking our concerns seriously, we were told that “no one is smoking in the building.” Minutes later, we overheard our neighbouring guest admit to management that they had, in fact, been smoking in their room. Rather than apologizing or immediately moving us, management gave the guest a light warning and then came back to tell us the issue was “resolved.” It was not. The smoke was still throughout the hallway and in our room. Nothing about our experience had changed. We have a health condition that is significantly affected by smoke exposure, which is exactly why we intentionally booked a smoke free hotel. Instead of showing compassion or taking immediate action, our concerns were repeatedly minimized. We were actually told that “it doesn’t smell that bad.” That is not for management to decide. If a guest says their room smells like smoke, especially after another guest admits to smoking, the appropriate response is empathy and action, not dismissal. What followed was nearly an hour of unnecessary stress and physical discomfort during what was supposed to be our vacation. Instead of enjoying our evening, we spent it trying to convince management that our concerns were legitimate. The manager, Amal D, was rude, dismissive, and confrontational throughout the interaction. His manner of speaking left me in tears. Rather than listening to our concerns or taking ownership of the situation, he repeatedly minimized them and made us feel as though we were the problem, despite another guest admitting they had violated the hotel’s smoke free policy. What is even more disappointing is what happened afterward. This incident occurred at the beginning of April 2026. We were eventually told that we would receive a partial refund. It is now the end of June 2026, and we have still not received it. We have received no follow-up, no explanation, and no apology. We deliberately waited to post this review because we wanted to give the hotel an opportunity to do the right thing. Instead, our emails have gone unanswered, our concerns have been ignored, and the refund we were promised has never been processed. We have retained screenshots of our text message exchanges with management that demonstrate the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which our concerns were handled, as well as our follow-up correspondence regarding the promised refund. A hotel cannot always prevent every guest from breaking the rules. What defines a hotel is how it responds when something goes wrong. In our experience, The Laundry Rooms failed at every opportunity. The lack of professionalism, empathy, accountability, and follow-through from management was shocking. We will never stay at this hotel again, nor would we recommend this property or this hotel brand to anyone. If you expect a genuinely smoke free environment and management that treats guests with professionalism, respect, and integrity, I strongly encourage you to stay elsewhere.

The location within Corktown made for convenient dining in a very cool and happening neighborhood. The communication via SMS with staff leading up to check in was very helpful, especially considering that this property operates exclusively via online contact and access codes. The kitchen and amenities were really excellent.

the bedrooms in a 2-room apartment were pretty small. in one room, the closet door couldn't fully open without hitting the bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped.

Not so thorough with cleaning utensils. The queen mattress was not comfortable at all. I didn’t have the best sleeping experience.

Great location for the Go Station and the lovely little bars and restaurants. Customer service and communication was excellent. Liked the quirky decor.

No usb charging ports or plugs near the bed. The fittings in the baths room were a bit basic.

Excellent self sufficient apartments. Location is perfect. Self check in was a breeze. Great restaurants in this neighborhood. Wifi can be a little sketchy but that's the only negative and it really wasn't a big deal. I had my own data plan.

My friends and I were hiking the Bruce Trail and then in town to see a musical. We had booked an Airbnb which fell through at the last minute and I had remembered seeing The Laundry Rooms ms the last time I was in Hamilton. Luckily they had two rooms that fit all 6 of us and we were blown away by how amazing and comfortable the rooms were. Much more than a hotel room they were more like small apartments and they were airy, bright and super comfy beds etc. We all were so grateful and we only ended up paying another $25 each from what we would have spent on the Airbnb and it was in a terrible location. This is right downtown on a cute little street and attached to a great restaurant. Super impressed and I’d highly recommend them. It’s all online so easy to book.

Excellent location, incredibly spacious unit with full kitchen, large and spotless bathroom and 2 separate bedrooms. Automated check-in & check out process made things very smooth and easy. Stayed with my friend & when we walked in we thought we were being pranked because of how huge the room was. For the price, 10/10

Excellent accommodation. The location was also great, a short walk to the T D Coliseum. We loved the bar/restaurant on the ground floor. There are also excellent bars, restaurants and coffee shops near by.

Not having a single person to welcome us was a little odd. Made me feel that if there was a problem we’d be stuck.

This was my first stay at The Laundry Rooms - Hamilton and I was unsure of what to expect. My stay was absolutely amazing. My room was in the 5th floor, it had a beautiful view and spacious layout. The check in/checkout process was quick and easy, and all done via for system which I found very progressive. I will be staying there again in future and would highly recommend!

There were a little too many rouge hairs for my liking as I am bald, the shower head made a very high pitched whining sound, and the staff were a little harder to get in contact with than I would like

Very spacious suite with separate bedroom(s). Well equipped kitchen for light meal preparation or full cooking if you wanted. Very modern layout with large living room.

Minor noise within from other suites. We rented a one bedroom and was given a two bedroom. No privacey door on second bedroom if you're looking for 4 adult stay would be a bit awkward.

Enjoyed our stay. They were very accommodating to our needs and parking needs. Had a hard time with the key pads but it was a poor vision issue on my part. Very modern and clean unit. Stayed in unit 208. Would recommend and will stay there again when I’m back in Hamilton. Lots of near by places to eat..shop and just walk around .

Location Kitchen

Booked reservation but no attendant, red tape policy and lack of our signature prevented our stay here. The hotel seems to believe they can keep our money even though we did not stay at the location due to spoken irregularities with “their invented contract and stipulation”. The previous and immediate is not how contracts work and booking.com will also be named in the litigation process if help eludes us in this one singular booking. Regards 905-537-1183

Everyone should stay here. Such a gem in the Hamilton city. Beautiful, spacious apartment with everything you will need during your stay and a perfect location for exploring the city. Walking distance to the markets, GO station and downtown core, directly above a gorgeous little street of restaurants and bars to enjoy. We loved it.

Need a code to get in every door which can be slightly cumbersome, but does mean it’s extra secure so hardly a negative - just make sure you remember it!

The layout of the room and amenities were superb. So clean and it felt like home away from home.

I think the instructions for the code/entry could be better explained. Example: for the parking garage you will see two key pads, put room number in this one, and this code in the other. Once inside the facility you will need jst this code for the door out of garage, the elevator, to move between floors and for access to your room....something like this. When traveling long days, and getting into a new city, new hotel....everything should be overly simplified for ease.

The location of the property was great! I always stay here when I'm visiting in Hamilton and will continue to do so. The rooms are spacious and well designed. the checkin process is easy and efficient. Overall I do recommend this hotel.

The toilet in my room did not work. I had to switch rooms mid-morning. Sadly the 26th is not a holiday in the States, and the trouble of finding a working restroom and transitioning to a new suite required me to reschedule a few important calls. I reached out to see if my second night could be discounted for my trouble and my message was ignored.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants, with a nice small grocery store just around the corner. It provides underground parking which is much appreciated, though expensive. Our room was advertised as having two bedrooms, which it had. However the bed in the second bedroom was very narrow and very uncomfortable. The mattress on the daybed was very hard. A proper single bed would easily fit in that room. They need to put something comfortable to sleep on there. They allow pets but charged us a $100 extra cleaning fee. We have a lot of experience travelling with our dog. That cleaning fee is very high in our experience and not advertised in advance of check in. I am 74 years old and not a very accomplished user of my cell phone. The entire registration and check in process is conducted remotely, only via cell phone - not a human to be seen or heard. I have used several hotels in that area of Hamilton recently. I am there for a day or two almost weekly. This place is at the bottom of my list of hotels that I would use in downtown Hamilton. Buyer beware!

Clean! Well laid out right in the mix of things.

I love the uniqueness of the property and how clean it was. Had everything we needed and a great Resturant on the main floor

I hated the check in process it was complicated and there was no staff. $250 for deposit which I still haven’t seen yet.

The patio door would not open. I paid extra for that and the television kept buffering
