Hotel Bel Soggiorno

The hotel feels incredible authentic and has one of the best views we could ask for in Taormina. Staff were incredibly welcoming and kind from the moment we checked in. The breakfast each morning was nothing short of exceptional, truly the best offering of any of the hotels we stayed in on our Sicily trip around the island. The waiters at breakfast were each so lovely, and it was always a really nice start to our mornings. The hotel is close enough to walk into the central town as well as very close to the beautiful walkway down to the beach

The stunning views were amazing! The old world charm, beautiful wrought iron and worldly feel was wonderful.

Localização maravilhosa e uma vista deslumbrante da cidade!! Além disso, o hotel preserva muito a história e o quarto era muito espaçoso (tinha até uma linda varanda com vista incrível para o mar). Por fim, também ganham destaque a cortesia, café da manhã variado (foram bastante atenciosos com minhas restrições alimentares em relação a glúten), excelente atendimento dos funcionários, sempre muito atenciosos, especialmente o Cláudio, brasileiro muito simpático e atencioso! Eu e meu marido adoramos e estadia!

We were here for five nights. Three of the five nights there were weddings at the villa that is part of the property. The music was extremely loud every night until after 1:00am. Unable to get any sleep it was just booming.

The decor is dated, room was very dark and bed uncomfortable. There is a wedding venue across the valley that plays loud music on a Fri- Sun until 1am.

Its a 15 minute uphill walk to the centre, pity they don't offer a shuttle service. If only this hotel had a pool and a much deseved refurbishment it would easily be a true luxury gem! What incredible potential.

La chambre qui nous a été attribuée était située au sous-sol, alors que j’avais demandé une chambre avec vue sur l’Etna. Le personnel a été très gentil et nous a proposé de changer de chambre dès le lendemain matin, mais comme nous ne restions que deux nuits, nous avons préféré éviter de déménager. Cela dit, la chambre correspondant à notre demande aurait dû nous être attribuée dès notre arrivée.

La vue est magnifique et irremplaçable. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est très bon. Le charme désuet de l'hôtel est très appréciable. La navette vers la plage est très bien organisée. Le centre ville est à 15min de l'hôtel à pieds.

Le bruit : Notre chambre donnait près de la réception. La porte laisse passer toute la lumière et tout le bruit. Nous avions l'impression de dormir dans le couloir. Les douches sont à refaire. Nous étions venus il y a deux ans et le parking était gratuit, il coute maintenant 25€ par jour ce qui est vraiment hors de prix. Nous avons l'impression d'être pris pour des pigeons. Le personnel est charmant mais la direction n'est pas aimable.

Charming rustic Italian hotel, with amazing views. Fabulous breakfast. Terrace off the room was beautiful. Breakfast room was stunning. Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel had a Brilliant deal with Lido La dolce Vida and shuttle bus to get there and back. A great stay in Taormina.

Not a place to stay if you have mobility issues, but you are getting the view instead. Sound from the adjacent event venue into the early hours each night was a bit excessive, but the charm of the hotel made up for it.

The location and staff. The breakfast is also excellent.

There was very loud doof doof music until very late and lots of slamming doors and noise from the hotel. Not Much sleep to be had. Also There seems to be no air conditioning or fans in use in the bar and breakfast areas making it extremely uncomfortable to relax in those areas for any length of time.

The hotel has exceptional views and a really charming old-school vibe. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond. I was slightly unwell when I checked into the hotel and the staff were very helpful in providing us with some lemon tea to help. The next day, the lovely manager at reception helped us with directions to pay our parking fine. We also really liked the food at the hotel!

The rooms are definitely very dated and more on the quiet side. The hotel does not have any amenities so the only activity you can do is walk around the grounds and enjoy the view. We stayed for a night so were not really bothered by this.

My wife and I stayed here in Taormina as one of our destinations on our honeymoon, firstly the location is amazing right in the middle of the town centre and the beach. We've never stayed in a hotel that had more helpful and courteous staff, nothing was ever a job too big or too small and they did everything they could to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has shuttle services down to beach clubs. The views from the hotel and the terraces off the rooms are amazing. The breakfast is beautiful, if you're lucky enough you'll be looked after by Sebastiono, he took such great care of us. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough

Location was good. Breakfast staff were very kind.

Our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. An hour after check-in, staff moved us out of our room to accommodate another couple checking in because they were staying for an extra night - they then moved us to a smaller corner room with a tiny balcony, nothing like what we’d paid for. The new room also smelled of mildew and had visible water damage on the ceiling, far from what the photos showed online. When we raised this with the manager, we were met with a hostile attitude and told “all rooms are the same” - which makes no sense, since that was the exact reason we’d been moved in the first place. Between the downgrade, the poor room condition, and the dismissive service, this stay fell well short of expectations.

Ravissant hotel, absolument magnifique et plein de charme.

La vista è magnifica e la posizione è fantastica, trovandosi “a metà” altezza tra Taormina centro e la scalinata che porta a Isola bella. Esente dalla ztl. Colazione sublime su una splendida terrazza panoramica

La stanza era un po’ piccola. Peccato che l’hotel non fosse munito di una zona sdraio comune (c’era solo una zona tavolini con sedie) o una piscina

Vista stupenda sia dalla camera che da qualsiasi punto panoramico della struttura. Location tradizionale e molto immersiva. Ottima la colazione a buffet, ricco di piatti salati e dolci anche fatti in casa.

Il bagno è vetusto e scomodo (soprattutto la doccia in cui il piatto doccia è a livello del pavimento ed a protezione vi era soltanto una tenda di plastica che non evitava che l'acqua si disperdesse ovunque). Non assolutamente all'altezza della struttura. Appena arrivati in stanza abbiamo notato che il bagno non era stato pulito correttamente e nonostante lo abbiamo fatto immediatamente presente alla reception non è poi stato comunque pulito, il resto della stanza era ok. Al momento del check-out abbiamo fatto nuovamente presente il disagio relativo al bagno e abbiamo apprezzato le scuse da parte della reception.

We had an amazing stay. The views are spectacular, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is beautifully maintained. The location is perfect, very peaceful and quiet while still being close to everything. Everything was honestly excellent and we would definitely come back. The workers the bests!

The only thing we missed was a swimming pool, which would make the hotel absolutely perfect. Other than that, everything was excellent.

The views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved the hotel's location and peaceful atmosphere. Sitting on the terrace and taking in the scenery was a highlight of our stay.

The uphill walk to Corso Umberto was quite steep, so you need to be in reasonably good shape. The parking area was also very tight, and there was an additional charge for private parking.

En la zona del desayuno deberían de poner aire acondicionado, a finales de agosto a casi 40 grados se hace complicado aguantar el desayuno.

Von der Frühstücksterrasse tolle Aussicht auf den Ätna. Kurzer Fußweg ins Zentrum. Das Hotelpersonal hilft bzw. übernimmt das Einparken (sehr enge, steile Parkplatzsituation).

We had the suite which was a beautiful room. There is a balcony and this is what sold us. However the balcony is shared with the two rooms alongside. Each of the 3 rooms has its own “space” and loungers and table and chairs. Only a slight niggle though as in reality we was often on the terrace on our own. But it was a surprise that the balcony wasn’t solely for our suite. Again not a big criticism but that wasn’t clear on the booking. Didn’t really make a difference in the end. Don’t be put off by that. Just be aware.

Beautiful and true to its heritage hotel. We liked the vibe that this hotel had, view to the sea was to die for. Breakfast filled all our needs and people were polite and always helpful.

Not hotels fault but be careful on parking, not the most difficult one in Sicilly but be praper some sharp turns.

Amazing staff, amazing views, and a great breakfast!

Ein sehr außergewöhnlich schönes Hotel. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Wir konnten schon eher einchecken. Die kleine abgetrennte Terrasse bietet einen traumhaften Blick übers Meer und die Gartenanlage des Hotels. Das Hotel liegt perfekt um Taormina zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist riesig und bietet für jeden etwas. Frühstück hatten wir auf der Terasse mit traumhaftem Ausblick.

Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl aber das Gepäck wird auch zum Zimmer gebracht. Es gibt nur begrenzt Parkplätze und das rangieren ist schwierig aber das Personal ist geübt und hilft auch hier gerne weiter.

I love everything about the hotel. The whole hotel looks vintage and full of character, the staff is friendly, and the view from the restaurant and the garden is amazing!

The AC made a loud noise the whole time. I had no problem sleeping, but for other people, the noise may be disturbing.

Az ovarosi resz kb 15p setara van felfele,de egy reszet a “Villa Comunale di Taorminan” keresztul tehetjuk meg,ami csodalatos. A recepcio 0-24,azt hiszem este 10-ig lehet a lobbyba iszogatni,van menu nagyon boseges a kinalat.

Confort des chambres un peu désuet et petit déjeuner médiocre

Hotel stupendo, molto accogliente, con un profumo incredibile già all'entrata! Il personale è molto discreto, e ci son state portate le valigie direttamente in camera, nel frattempo di un nostro pranzo fuori.. Avendo avuto una camera in un piano sotto, si può passare nel corridoio dell'hotel e ammirare tanti begli arredi e finestre, con affaccio su paesaggi! Ci son tante cose da ammirare, anche i giardini esterni! C'è un ascensore per salire e scendere dai diversi piani, la stanza era molto pulita, dotata di aria condizionata, e dei giusti comfort. Tutto è andato ok, colazione dolce e salata, varia.. Spero di ritornarci! Grazie!

Il parcheggio, a pagamento, è custodito e tranquillo, solo che se non si sanno fare manovre o marcia indietro(perché non è stato facile girare l'auto per ripartire dato che la strada è stretta), lasciar perdere!

Amazing hotel with an incredible view and such a beautiful attentive staff. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Parking is available at the property which is a big plus in Taormina.

Le lieu et la chambre qui est bien équipée. On est à 15 min a pied du centre. La vue sur la mer est incroyable.

Lokalizacja blisko centrum i hotel bardzo zadbany. Śniadanie z pięknym widokiem.

Pokój był malutki i wizualnie niezachęcający jeśli chodzi o wyposażenie i układ. Piękny widok na wulkan, jednak miałem wrażenie że śpię w schowku zaadaptowanym na pokój. Mało prywatności ponieważ 'balkon' był tak na prawdę wejściem i nie dawał żadnej prywatności. Ok jeśli chcemy tylko przenocować, ale nie sprzyja romantyczności w żadnej kwestii. Zdjęcia zakłamują rzeczywistość jeśli chodzi o układ i kwestie powyżej.

Very good location and a wonderful view. The hotel is a bit old, but comfortable. The breakfast was good.. The staff were very helpful. Due to health reasons, we needed to cancel one of the reserved rooms, and the staff were extremely supportive in handling the process. The hotel refunded the cost of the room, which we greatly appreciated.

Beliggenheten er fantastisk, det er nok det hotellet vi har bodd på med best utsikt. I tillegg hadde rommet god aircondition og frokostsalen har et godt utvalg, med veldig behjelpelig personal.

La situation exceptionnelle de l'hôtel. Vue spectaculaire sur Taormina et la mer. Les objets anciens, très beaux, qu'on retrouve dans l'hôtel, couloirs, salle du buffet, etc. La chambre avec un petit balcon parfait pour prendre un prosecco avec vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner, très varié durant les trois jours de notre séjour, et délicieux. Le personnel très attentionné. Le service de ménage fait à tous les jours. Les valets de parking dont on ne saurait se passer.

Salle de bain à moderniser : La présence d'un rideau de douche n'est pas acceptable pour un établissement de ce standing.

Las vistas, la terraza, el personal

This was one of the most beautiful unique hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in a suite with the most amazing veranda and view. I couldn’t praise the staff enough, they were always extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a 10 minute walk to the main town and while it is up steps it’s totally manageable. We would highly recommend this hotel for a true Sicilian experience.

One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. It looks as if it was built and furnished around 1900 and since then nothing has changed - we loved it. Reception staff as well as staff for breakfast very polite and great fun to be around! Especially the breakfast room with its winter garden - which turns into a bar in the evening - and the terrace and garden are BEAUTIFUL. Probably ten minutes‘ walk until the historic city centre - so perfectly situated if you are good on foot (lots of stairs and steep streets).

Although not expensive for Taormina, it is still an expensive place - some breakfast items lacked freshness, especially the very stale cakes. We had quite a dark room which was fine for one night but one could see it was starting to visibly age and could use a bit of love.

Standarden på rummet var något gammalt.

The air conditioning was great in the room and room was clean. Good water pressure for toilet and shower and plenty of hot water. All staff we're great and helpful.

Harika manzarasıyla unutulmaz bir konaklama deneyimi yaşadık. Otelin konumu ve huzurlu atmosferi gerçekten mükemmeldi. Sabah gözümüzü açtığımız andan itibaren manzaranın keyfini çıkardık. Güzel ortamı ve keyifli ambiyansıyla tekrar tercih edeceğimiz bir otel.

As everyone says the views are stunning, having a car park (even though expensive) was really helpful and it’s decent location to walk into town and a free shuttle bus to beaches. Staff were lovely. But very reasonably priced for Taormina.

The rooms were really basic and so loud… unfort there was a wedding going on down below the hotel first night so we got zero sleep, then there’s also a road close by with lots of screeching brakes.
