Perfect location walking distance to everything in the city center. Gorgeous property and we enjoyed our large terrace with a sea view. So many delicious breakfast options and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is extremely charming and very beautiful. The location is ideal. The staff were so lovely, and there was even a super convenient parking spot available from the hotel, directly in front, for a reasonable price. (Parking in Taormina is scarce, so we did not expect this.) The room was not big, but it was beautifully designed, with a very high ceiling, and a sweet balcony overlooking the sea.

The location is fantastic. It's very close to the bus stop for the train station and the bus station for the airport. The air conditioning was very new and worked perfectly. I was able to sleep very well. The breakfast was also delicious.

This well run hotel boasts beautiful sea views over the bay. Our bedroom was large, cool and tastefully decorated with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were very welcoming, professional and went out of their way to rearrange our booking after cancelled flights into Catania due to volcanic activity.

Hotel La Pensione Svizzera is beautiful hotel in a fantastic location to the main centre of Taormina. The breakfast is exceptional and has everything to offer with wonderful views of the sea. The staff were super friendly and the little extras like free daily beach towels and a jar of marmalade as a leaving gift made it even more special. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel's location is ideal, just a short walk from the town center and the cable car that goes to the beach. The service was excellent. I recommend booking parking in advance directly with the hotel. While the rooms were slightly old-fashioned, they were still pleasant and had a balcony. The breakfast was delicious.

We travelled to Sicily when Mount Etna was erupting and the airport was shut, so arrived at this lovely little hotel after an epic journey of trains and boats and buses across Italy! We had two twin rooms ‘without view’ but actually they had lovely little balconies and everything we needed, fridge, water, toiletries etc. The hotel is in the best possible location with gorgeous views over the bay at breakfast time. It was right by the bus terminal and the cable car and a minute from the Main Street. The staff were very kind and helpful, and sorted us with taxis and beach clubs etc. I would definitely stay again, we had a lovely time!

Nothing. There is no parking but there is a car park a short walk away - if you are lucky enough to get a space! We left our car for the entirety of our stay. The hotel is very convenient to walk anywhere and you can take the cable car to the beach.

The location was amazing, it was steps away from the funivia down to the beach, very close to town and bonus very close to the bus terminal, where we caught the bus up to Castelmola for the afternoon (don't miss this!).

Cudowny hotelik, który z zewnątrz nie odzwierciedla tego co zastaniemy w środku. Pokój z balkonikiem i widokiem na morze był idealny na romantyczne poranki i wieczory. Słońce wpadające przez okno o poranku tworzyło cudowny klimat. Śniadanie pyszne i bardzo dobrze podane.

Its not really the hotel’s fault that parking is not the greatest in Taormina but they pointed us in a great direction for safe and secure parking

The location is excellent—just a short walk to Corso Umberto, the Teatro Greco, wonderful restaurants, cafés and the cable car to Isola Bella. It made exploring the town effortless while still offering a quiet place to return to. Breakfast each morning was fresh and plentiful, with a great variety of choices to start the day. What made our stay especially memorable was the kindness of everyone at the hotel. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in creating a welcoming environment. The views of the water were amazing! The garden patio was a shady retreat from the sun. The staff were great, especially Antonella, who helped us with a lot of advice. The breakfast had an array of savory and sweet items to start your day. Our room was very comfortable and clean. It was in a great location—Corso Umberto was within a short walk, transport within steps—but in a less hectic spot so we could enjoy our stay.

Wspaniały widok na morze z pokoju, nawet bez balkonu było można go podziwiać ! Pokój duży i wygodny, łazienka także. Obsługa przemiła, zwłaszcza Pani w recepcji. Poleciła rejs i wszystko zorganizowała. Śniadania dobre, chociaż bez szału.

Jedyne co mi się nie podobało to hałas z ulicy pod oknami. Cały czas skutery, autobusy i lid. Od rana do nocy.

I will start by saying this hotel is underrated and it exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located near the cable cars and Corso Umberto. Rooms were updated and modern, pictures on website need to be updated because they dont do it justice. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, great breakfast. Would definitely book this one again when we come back!

Absolutely love this hotel - it was my second stay. The location is fab - two mins from the cable car, two mins from the main bus and coach station, and five mins from the town centre. This hotel is in the most amazing location of Taormina. It’s right by the cable car and bus station and is only a 10 minute walk to the downtown. Happy hour and breakfast are delicious, special shout out to Mario for making us feel welcomed and giving us recommendations for our stay. The outside patio has incredible views of the water. They helped us book a beach club with pickup and drop off via taxi for cheap. Absolutely would recommend!

We had a wonderful room with a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The hotel was nice and clean. The team was so nice to us, and they arranged a parking for our car. The breakfast was generous, and we could sit outside and enjoy the view on the breakfast room's terrace.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful! Our luggage was lost by the airport and we mentioned it when we arrived. When we came back to the front desk about an hour later they gave us a few transportation options back to the airport. This is just one example of their kindness. Our room and the common areas were wonderful. Great location. Highly recommend!!

They gave us a warm welcome complete with an overview of the area and great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety and was served on a beautiful patio.

Super helpful and friendly staff particularly Antonella with initial contact and help with booking airport transfers etc. Also Mario gave us brilliant recommendations for where to eat out which we really appreciated and also gave us lots of delicious drinks during happy hour!

The location was perfect. The breakfast room had a lovely ocean view. They served both hot and cold breakfast items which were good. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in booking tours and suggesting restaurants. The room was comfortable and had a large balcony. They even had a couple of close by parking spaces.

Very well positioned near the bus station, cable car and easy walking to the main area. The view from our room was amazing. Everywhere very clean. Everyone was very helpful and we were particularly well looked after by the breakfast staff. A great choice at breakfast.

A very nice stay. It's definitely a pensione, as opposed to a boutique hotel, so no water or coffee maker or toiletries. But we loved the location and the outside terrace. A cheap price point for Taormina which was great.

I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews of breakfast - we struggled with it. Nothing fresh in terms of fruit or juice. Packaged yogurts, many different pastries etc. If you don't eat processed food, you will be a bit stuck.

Loved the view, excellent breakfast, super-friendly staff, perfectly located for the ancient theatre, restaurants, shopping etc and very close to the funicular if you want to go to the beach.

Bedroom seemed a little than smaller than it looked in the photographs but still very adequate for a 3-night stay.

Taormina is an expensive high upmarket tourist town but this modest pensione sits only minutes from the Main Street and the chairlift down to the beach. Lovely views from the back windows and a see through glass scenic lift! Nice views from a nice breakfast spread. Not ‘posh’ - nicely homely.

The location, staff, especially Mario, and the view from our room were outstanding. When we ever return to Taormina this will be our place to stay.

Little cosy and nicely decorated hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed the gorgeous view over the sea from our balcony and during breakfast. Very near to the center and to the cable car to go down to the beach.

A beautiful boutique hotel just off the downtown. The rooms were well maintained and provided all of the amenities. The courtyard which is located down a few steps from the street is a haven of tranquility and contains the outdoor dining area for breakfast. Breakfast was a treat every day and the daily Happy Hour was a nice way to socialize with other guests. Staff and service were impeccable. We enjoyed every minute there over our three days. Several very good restaurants are also within easy walking distance on the same street as the hotel.

Our room on the 4th floor had an absolutely spectacular view of the Mediterranean sunrise. It was mesmerising. The location is excellent - very close to the Corso Umberto. Mr Pietro and all the staff were friendly and had helpful recommendations and great suggestions for activities and restaurants. The breakfasts were abundant - with delicious, quality food selections, coffee every morning and even champagne on offer if desired.

Petit déjeuner incroyable dans le jardin avec vue sur la mer, avec de très bons produits et un grand choix. Chambre calme et très confortable avec vue sur la mer. Tout proche de la station de bus et du centre, ainsi que de téléphérique qui descend à Isola Bella. Petit plus : le chat de l'hôtel :) Tout était parfait!

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely, as were the rooms and amenities. The location was the highlight! Just quiet enough but still right near the main pedestrian walk and cable car to the beach. Breakfast was also great. Would be back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic place to call home in the heart of Taormina. You immediately feel like family and are treated as such. Every staff member is exceptional - takes time to get to you know you - but also knows when to leave you to enjoy your own time. I'd consider it a hidden gem. Genuine 3 Star Italian Hotel, with 10 Star staff and a 10 Star hotel cat.

While I found Taormina overrun with loud, naive tourists in many areas (thanks White Lotus) - the hotel is faultless and a haven from the mindless hoards.
