Very comfortable bed. Great location just off the M1. Very close to a good shopping centre
Nothing
What really stood out to me was the wonderful team. Every member of staff seemed genuinely committed to making the hotel feel like a home away from home. It’s not just the service, but the warmth, kindness, and little touches that make you feel truly welcomed and looked after. You can tell when a team genuinely cares about the experience they create for their guests, and that certainly came across here. A big thank you to the whole team for making my stay feel so comfortable, personal, and memorable. It’s people like this who make you want to return.
We got a free room upgrade including the executive lounge which made it good value for money. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
On the expensive side (if we hadn't been given an upgrade) One of the bottles in the shower was totally empty - I think these should be checked daily with it being a 4 star hotel.
Very modern. Friendly staff. Confortable and clean.

Spacious, clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

I stayed in Leicester during a physically challenging and emotionally demanding week of hospital visits. The staff were welcoming, extremely helpful, attentive and caring. Everyone did all they could to ease my week. My accessible room made everything easier; my dietary needs were accommodated within Room Service and restaurant meals by cheerful, staff members who were willing to do whatever was needed to make my stay recuperative. The service and accommodation were excellent.
I paid daily for parking
Staff were all excellent.
Room was a little tired but clean
Dinner & Breakfast Good - large room lacks intimacy
Overcharged me and matter still in dispute
Clean and great staff at check in desk
The bar was not staffed at all and closed very early for a hotel
Front Desk staff were very professional. Check-in was smooth. Breakfast was fantastic, with variety to choose from Excellent room with all the needed facilities
None
Service at front desk - Karan was helpful Natalie in breakfast was exceptional Breakfast could have had more fresh items such as salad/fish
Coffee was poor - didnt like the vending option at all Needs more water in the exec rooms - just not enough in here
nice room, good bar & restaurant
we didn't have enough towels in our room. lots of plates from room service breakfast were still outside doors when we arrived at gone 4pm.
Location and Lobby area was good. Breakfast was good Staff were very friendly
Bedding was dirty and pillows smelled. Dinning floor was sticky which did in turn make you question cleanliness around the eating area. noise in the room during the night was not good. heard a bottle refuge collection at 3-4am which woke me followed by an early morning delivery which again woke me
Everything
Nothing
The tranquility of the room
Bath tub, it was difficult to get in and out of.
There were 3 of us and only 2 cups.l in the room. Needed more tea bags too.
I’ve stayed before and will stay again. Location and facilities are great
One of the lifts wasn’t working, that was the only downside
The Smart TV was good to connect phone
The bed sheets and towels had red stains on them
Really lovely
A touch expensive and the menu atvthe hotel wasn't good for vegetarians
It was clean, spacious and easily accessible.
Nothing I didn’t like.
My husband is coeliac and once the chef knew he was very good and cooked his breakfast separately.
Room not very clean. Lots of dark long hairs everywhere. I dont have long dark hair. Not much tea choice in room. Shower awkward to use and did not fit the shower fixing. Seems to be just a wedding venue. We had to unexpectedly stay at a hotel one night, quite late after a long drive. Staff on the reception desk were not able to book me a room - I had to go through a booking site which at 10pm after a stressful day was very tedious to say the least. Breakfast very average and luke warm. Awful tea and coffee machine. We stayed here about 10 years ago and it was very good. Not any longer.
The staff were excellent. Super helpful on reception. Also, the restaurant team were excellent. Full credit to them.
Nothing. Everything was good.
From the moment we stepped in, the staff were very attentive and we checked in very quickly. The room was a good size and location was ideal to everywhere that we needed to go to. Gym facility was good too! Breakfast was excellent, the choice, selection of vegetarian options was really good!
Being picky here but the mattress on the bed was too hard, the linen and sheets had a strange smell and it would have been nice if bottles of water could have been provided in the room instead of the cartons
Easy location
Parking charges
Bed mattress too hard. Breakfast convenient but over cooked. Room was ok.
Bed mattress and pillows and breakfast.
Bedding and rooms
Breakfast
Room was spacious and clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent but I think you’d have to eat a lot to get good value for money from it.
It was all good, I wouldn’t change anything.
Communication with the hotel was clear, informative and friendly, prior to and during my stay. Free slushies and popcorn ? Yes please 😆
A spoon in the room had tea stains on it, the kettle was a quarter full and that I found a dried contact lens in the bedding. Not a deal breaker but was disappointed to see these considering I’d only just entered the room. That aside I was happy with the room, hotel, staff and location.
Location
Nothing to fault
room size and ambience
the TV, fridge, water force in the shower, parking
The room was well-maintained and equipped with comfortable furnishings.
The hotel room included just one packet of water, which is insufficient given the expected guest amenities. I noticed that a small bottle of water was available for purchase at the tack shop for nearly £4, which seems excessive for such a basic item. This pricing highlights a potential mismatch between the services offered and their perceived value, suggesting that guests are only provided with the bare minimum. In addition, bath towels could be improved to slightly larger ones as opposed to the small towels provided.
The room was excellent, we had an upgrade to an executive suite which was very nice and the access to the memebers lounge was a very nice bonus.

Basically did the job
Food was disappointing and little to no gluten free & dairy free options
The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff at reception and in the Exec lounge were excellent
Bathroom is a little dated
Easy to find and very light and welcoming. The breakfast was good but beware of covers on the food serving dishes.
The bed was so hard we had to pull back the sheet to check if it was wood or a mattress, barely slept and left with back ache. There was rubbish on the floor in the lift, glass bottles on the floor outside a number of rooms and shards of glass on the floor, which despite showing a member of staff, remained on the carpet throughout our stay.
Location was perfect for what we needed to attend a family party
The pillows were far too soft for my liking but that is a personal preference. Breakfast was very nice however coffee and tea machines could do with an upgrade when hotel is so busy. Only 1 tea bag in room for 2 of us. Rather large stain on carpet also. It actually looked like somebody may have been sick on it. This was an upgraded room. This is just my personal view would not stop me staying there again but I feel that this should be noted.
The response by Karan to a couple of issues experienced, the problem was handled professionally and courteously, making me feel valued as a customer. He was excellent.
Top notch ! Very contemporary
No swimming pool and boxing bag in the gym

Modern hotel. Goed isolerende ramen.
Alles was prima. Als ik toch iets moet noemen dan is het jammer dat ze geen high tea aanbieden.
Friendly staff Easy parking Nice rooms
Everything. From parking, first look. Very impressive entrance. Clean, friendly staff. Lovely spaceless rooms.
Coming off the M1, very confusing directions. There's no direct route, so very confusing when driving. Especially if you are new to the area.

Excellent service. Spaceous room and gym. Executive lounge was very well managed as well.
Room was very comfortable and a nice added bonus was the bath, Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, Breakfast was a good selection, Good location for Fosse park
Didn't like having to pay for car parking when you're staying at the hotel
location and very courteous staff
The weddings are not very clean. The cleaners didn't clean the rooms well. I noticed dust on furniture after supposed cleaning of the room. Pieces of paper or dirt on the floor the previous day remained after cleaning in the morning
The location was perfect the staff were very friendly and helpful just everything about this hotel was excellent
The property was clean and the early breakfast was great.
The property was far from the city centre and I had to pay for parking.
Location, clean spacious room
Nothing
Room was lovely and big, and clean, air con was great, nice big TV. Breakfast was lovely and I ate far too much!
Cooler didn't cool, shampoo was empty, it was a deluxe family room with 2 double beds, yet only one robe, one wine glass and a very overly complicated check in process
Everything. Set out to a High standard.
Wish we had stayed longer
Staff were friendly and it was clean
There was lots of confusion regarding payment when checking in. They tried to charge me again but even more money for the duration of my stay even though I had already paid through booking!
Marriot hotel Leicester, clean hotel, accessible from motorway. I forgot my wallet at the hotel, member of staff Karan promptly contacted me to inform. Thank you
The best hotel in Leicester with amazing staff, particularly Karan who is always super helpful in reception. I thoroughly recommend staying here, I’m a regular visitor
Karan was incredibly helpful and genuinely thoughtful. When we mentioned we were heading to the QPR game and our boys would be mascots, he kindly gave us a Sharpie for the players to sign their jerseys — such a lovely gesture. An amazing guy and a real asset to the Leicester Marriott. Great service all round!
Classy, stylish and clean.
Pillows in hotel rooms were shocking. Not comfortable at all. Tried to buy two separate drinks from the bar and both I couldn’t order due to no stock or missing ingredients from the drinks.
Good accomodation and facilities
All ok
Very clean and tidy, friendly staff and good internet connection. The gym was small but had everything you need for a short stay and the cooler/fridge in the room was decently cold for its size
We had breakfast in the Executive Club Lounge a it was perfect. The lady serving also went and got us vegetarian sausages.
Would have liked a swimming pool.
Breakfast buffet was a bit tired and poor quality sausages!
Everything was perfect
Location was fine - handy for Fosse Park retail park
For the money charged, I expected more. The fitness centre was tiny; the in-room facilities were sufficient but nothing special. Paying for parking in a non-city centre location seemed excessive.
Nice location- convenient as we were attending a wedding reception
It was ok not excellent staff weren’t very helpful
The location was great for easy access to the Motorway. We were travelling to Silverstone for the Grand Prix and it was a great stop before heading to the park and ride. The Hotel was reasonably priced compared to others closer to Northampton Parking was good and there’s a local business park close where you can eat and grab supplies. There’s also a large Sainsbury’s with electric charging points if you need to ‘refuel’. There’s a nice bar area and the bedroom was well equipped with great black out blinds. We didn’t eat in the hotel so I can’t comment on the range of food available. I would happily stay at this hotel again and am happy to recommend.
The only issue I had was that we booked the room for 4 ppl but it was only set up for two. Would have been nice to have 4 cups for coffee and 4 sets of towels x
Friendly staff, great service, any questions were answered on the spot. Easy instructions to find room. Hotel really nice and clean . Would recommend 👌🏻
The fact that the toilet was ridiculously far away from the bar on the first floor. Really odd layout there! 😆
Extremely well presented and spotless
Nice big bedroom. Reception and room staff very good.
No atmosphere in public areas. Very expensive. Small shop £4.99 for biscuits 99p in shop. Limited menu. Claustrophobic in bedroom because you can't open the window. Shortage of plugs in the bedroom.
Excellent for overnight stop over as very close to M1. Good facilities. Comfortable clean bedroom and bathroom. Air conditioning which was nice to have in the hot weather. Good amount of parking. Got a good rate with booking.com. Excellent breakfast, free access to executive lounge for snacks in the evening was nice. Staff all very professional and helpful.
Bath on a plinth so quite high to get in and out of
Quiet hotel, great location, good air con
Lack of plugs in room
Clean room. Good size bathroom.
Not very generous with tea/coffee/sugar and biscuits. Ill fitting shower head and glass door
the hotel was lovely and nice decor and comfy rooms, nice for anniversary, however...
we arranged to have our evening meal whilst watching the football, i called down to reception at 9.15 and asked what time food could be ordered, i was told that we could walk in without booking and food can be oredered until 10.15, we got downstairs at 930 menus were given to us and we browsed and waitied for waitress, we requested our order fish n chips and calamari as we were ordering she interupted and said the gas was off and wasnt working we could only have grilled food, none of that was non meat and we only eat fish and veg, this was annoying as we wasnt told ahead so we had to get a taxi to get food-very disapointing. i did mention it to the reception by stating you could have told us when i called and he said you should be able tio get the whole menu and he didnt know anything about it.
Room was spacious and clean - perfect for a family stay. Breakfast buffet great.
Expected to pay for wifi - I am a member, but because booking.com had much better value for our family stay, I was not able to use wifi without being asked to pay for it. should be inclusive as a guest irrelavnt of rewards programme status
Stayed here the weekend of Silverstone F1. The hotel and rooms were nice, clean and tidy. Stayed in a executive room, so had access to the executive lounge, which was a nice touch. My only complaint was the bed, pillows nice and soft, but the mattress was rock solid, couldn't get comfy, and woke up with a really bad back.
Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean
The power outlets are in a silly place close to the floor, the room was dusty and it was difficult to enter and exit the bath if taking a shower
Not great for a marriot,
A lot, check in and rudeness of staff, cost of things in bar, location not great sterile generic feeling to hotel
Altijd top bij Marriott. Heerlijk bed. Lekker gegeten, ook al kwam ik pas laat aan. Prima service.
De wegen in de buurt van het hotel zijn erg slecht. Veel gaten en kuilen. Kan hotel niks aan doen, maar zou opgelost moeten worden door de gemeente.
Excellent facilities, great environment and friendly staff.
There needs to be a section in the restaurant for guests with dogs 🐕
Original booking was one nightstand and then had to book another night and had to swap keys in the morning. Checking out was longer than expected
Long check out as two bookings confused staff and refunds
Clean room, quiet and good facilities
They took two security deposits of £50 when only one is supposed to be taken. One refunded the other is still sitting in my account as pending. It's proving difficult to get refunded.
The room.had srains on carpet and furnature My car vit damaged in the car park i complained never git a call back even though receptionist took.pictures
Stain furnature and carpets Car got damaged in the car park Reception took.pictures i called twice ever got a call back damge £300 to repair my bumper and i paid for parking
We had adjoining rooms, one of which had accessible facilities for two members of our party, this worked very well. Aircon worked perfectly, and everything was generally very smooth. As we had a blue badge holder travelling with use, we got free parking!
The price of breakfast is ~£18 which is not great if you just want a piece of toast and some tea (for those of us that were hungry, it was excellent!).

Food was below average
Location was great and we loved the hotel. Two things disappointed us at breakfast. I had to find a member of staff and ask them if they could refill the yoghurt as the bowl was empty. Also the coffee machine wasn’t working. We bought two from reception. When the manager realised this he did get us two further coffees at no charge. Both things should have been picked up by the staff and remedied without my intervention

A great hotel on the outskirts of Leicester. Pros 1. Clean spacious room; super comfortable bed and chill air con. 2. Professional staff, warm and welcoming. 3. Speedy check in. 4. The free slushies and popcorn in the lobby is a nice touch. 5. As a Gold Elite member, I was upgraded to use the Executive Lounge, and since it is not open on the weekend, offered free breakfast in the restaurant. 6. Conveniently located next to Fosse Park - with lots of shops and restaurants. 7. You get a free water on check out!
The staff who dealt with the situation at check-in were polite and made an effort to resolve the issue once it became apparent my room was not accounted for. Thank you Andre for sorting this out, its appreciated. The hotel itself was clean and in a good location.
I was extremely disappointed to discover at check-in that the hotel had been overbooked and that I was offered a room with a temporary put-up bed instead of the two king-size beds I had reserved. This was particularly frustrating because I had messaged the hotel that morning to advise I would be arriving after 9pm, and the hotel acknowledged my message and thanked me for the update. Despite knowing I was a late arrival, my confirmed booking was not honoured upon arrival. I do appreciate that the staff (Andre) found a suitable solution. Given the hotel this situation should never have arisen.
Room was as advertised, liked having a fridge for own items,
Working wifi and tv in the room would have been a bonus
Goed ontbijt, stille kamers. Harde bedden! :-(

Whilst limited options for Gluten free options, there were a couple, so more thought needed there. Breakfast wsa fine and the service excellent.
Like I say you need to think more about how you brief your team for those suffering with coeliac disease
Charging for parking for hotel guests
Property was impressive and lovely entrance hall
I had a terrible sleep, pillows looked impressive but they were way to soft with them having feathers in. No other pillows in the room to choose from. The staff at reception did offer me different ones in the morning at checkout 🙄🫤 I also didn’t like the service charge added to my food bill. I had paid to stay in a hotel. I paid good money for the food we got and I’m normally happy to tip but to have a surcharge added without warning was poor.
