Lovely lady at the front desk, so friendly and kind. Loved how close we were to the lake. Loved the artistic bathroom tiles!!! Lovely big bed! Thank you for having English speaking T.V. channels! Easy to access room - great having a lift!!

The room was very dark, as there was only a small window (which is fine), but the lighting in the room was pretty poor, and didn't compensate for the lack of natrual light, so we felt like we were coming back to a cave. Two pillows each would of been great, and the towels were a bit used and thin.

A lovely little traditional hotel situated right along the lakefront. Walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants! Definitely recommend.

Great location. Delightful open patio area in front and back. Ate at the restaurant at the Hotel one night and it was excellent. Would go back without hesitation.

A couple of low doorways to go through, but I am almost 2 meters. And the property is several hundred years old.

Wonderful unique accommodation… excellent service from the staff…. Rooftop provided excellent view… short walking distance (10 minutes) from train station… FAVORITE PART was the restaurant on the property was our favorite, whether we opted to dine outside or inside

The shower/bathtub took a little time to adjust to but we figured it out

It was good until I asked for help and the gentleman seemed to be more concerned about the restaurant than the people staying at the hotel. I asked about the “ac unit” in the room and was upset I was asking about it and he told me when he had a chance he would come see it and mumble some words under his breath in his language. I felt very embarrassed about the tone and the way he looked at me, and so he sprinted up the stairs to my room and he gave us a two second Explanation of the “ac unit”. It just not a good time!

Saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück, auf Wunsch auch frisch zubereitetes Rührei/Spiegelei. Top: Zentrale Lage im Zentrum. Auto fußläufig in 3 Minuten in privatem Parkhaus abstellbar gegen akzeptablen Preisaufschlag.

Keine Klimaanlage, zu warm im Zimmer, Toilette und Waschbecken in Edelstahlausführung empfinde ich unangemessen in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie (Geschmacksache). Schranksafe zu klein für Tablet oder Laptop, kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer.

Breakfast was excellent, mattress was very comfortable, great location!

No mini-fridge or bottled water in the room.

We loved the property- perhaps a fridge in the room would have been cherry on top to keep water cool - but we didn’t need it

The location of this hotel is perfect, easy to walk to from the train station and to all the highlights of Lucerne! The hotel is very quaint, super friendly staff and our room was exactly what we wanted.

A unique hotel with a distinctive and interesting design. The single room is very  big, clean and cozy. Antique furniture creates the feel of a mountain lodge. There is a kettle, tea, and coffee. There is no fridge. There is no wall-mounted air conditioner; instead, there is a floor fan and a portable AC unit (which I didn't try). The bathroom is clean and tidy; soap, shampoo, and body lotion are provided. Comfortable bed with a soft mattress. T.V with local channels. There is a restaurant right under the window with music that was pleasant and I loved it, but the noise from the crowd is far less so. I slept with earplugs and the windows closed and it was fine

1. It was hard to find the hotel until I realized it was located within a restaurant entrance. 2. The room lighting is dim. The wooden floor creaks, making me feel like I’m disturbing the guests below.

Great location. We stayed in the apartment which was lovely, clean and comfortable and with views across the lake . Perfectly geared up for self catering which suited us. There is so much to see and do locally and this provided us with an excellent base

아파트먼트에서 묶었습니다. 숙소 뷰가 너무 멋있습니다. 엘레베이터가 작긴하지만 있는거 자체가 장점이구요. 청결 침대 모두 만족하며 지냈습니다.

Breakfast was very minimal, but staff was very nice.

The rooms were satisfactory, they didn't have traditional AC. To cool down the room you had to run a portable room chiller that was very loud, and required you to open a window and put an exhaust hose outside, which meant you heard outside noise. The portable chiller was also very loud.

De ligging van het hotel. Wij sliepen in het oude gedeelte sfeervolle kamer en goed ontbijt. Aardig personeel. En een parkeerplek voor €20 per dag.

Veel lawaai van de weg ernaast. Airco deed het niet. Uit het jaar blok. Kan echt niet meer in deze tijd. Ouderwetse sfeer in de rest van het hotel. Erg oubollig.

The room was beautiful and the location was perfect ! The room was clean. It was an incredibly hot day so the hotel did give us a room AC unit (which helped tremendously!)

Bath is a joke. Church bells ring constantly,even at night. Limited breakfast selection. Quite small room.

The staff were very friendly. Reception was closed by the time I got there, so, one of the servers from the restaurant took care of me. He was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. The location was excellent, close to the old town and the lake.

The restaurant was closed when i arrived, but it was approx 21:45 as my train was late. (I did get pizza around the corner which was fine).

L'hotel è piccolo ma in una bella posizione, vicina al lago e alla Hofkirche, colazione buona, prodotti tipici svizzeri. Personale alla reception molto gentile.

Il personale alle colazioni dovrebbe parlare un po' di inglese, è stata a volte difficile la comunicazione.

The location was great! The staff were excellent; friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We were there during unseasonably hot weather and they provided the room with a portable air conditioner. Our room had a balcony which we really enjoyed. The bed was good. The breakfast was very good and included eggs and bacon, which is always nice on vacation!

Location and view

No in-built aircon available due to the old building. They supplied the room with a water cooler that requires the window to remain open so its external compartment can operate. But the street noise made it impractical to keep the window open.

L'emplacement, le parking et le personnel étaient très agréable.

Nous logions dans la partie historique de l'hôtel, la vue sur l'église et le lac étaient magnifiques mais l'absence d'isolation sonore (chambre du dessus et couloir) et l'absence de rideau au niveau de la tour ont rendu la nuit moins appréciable.

Super emplacement. Très bon petit déjeuner. Personnel accueillant et agréable.

Chambre sous les toits, pas de climatisation, très chaud, un appareil de climatisation externe avec tuyau à sortir par la fenêtre, très bruyant et obligé de laisser la fenêtre ouverte... Il a été arrêté lors du ménage. La porte de la chambre n’a pas été fermée après le ménage, donc la chambre est restée ouverte toute la journée avec mes affaires dedans. Plus de 30 minutes pour servir un œuf au petit déjeuner et il n’est jamais arrivé le 2e jour… 420 chf pour 2 nuits pour cet hôtel, vraiment abusés…ça ne les vaut pas

Het appartement was zeer ruim, alles wat we eventueel nodig hadden, was aanwezig.

Was gelegen aan een zeer druk kruispunt, en het was zeer warm, dit werd opgelost door een mobiele airco en ventilatoren.

The location of this hotel is excellent. We were walking distance from the train station, old town, and lots of great restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly.

Like other reviews mention, it was HOT (We were there in late July). That's probably a shared characteristic with other hotels in this area, but we really struggled with the heat. The in-room AC unit provided wasn't much help. The bed was not the most comfortable, but we made it work.

The staff were not welcoming or respectful towards guests. Their facial expressions and attitude often made us feel as though our presence was an inconvenience. They showed little interest in interacting or communicating with us, which made the overall experience feel unwelcoming. The breakfast was very ordinary and did not meet our expectations. The hotel rooms also lacked some basic modern, such as a fridge and USB charging ports. Overall, the hotel feels quite old and could benefit from significant updates and improvements.

Central location, right by the lake. The room was beautiful and it had portable air con - a lifesaver when 34 degrees. It’s also helpful that they have a restaurant so we ate there during our stay and the food was great. We also decided to include breakfast and it was a fab choice with a continental buffet. They were also truly dog friendly providing bed, water and food bowls in the room, and allowing us to take our dog with us to the room where breakfast is served (many places don’t allow that!). You can also park right in front of the hotel to off load the luggage and the private parking is very close!

Excellent location and a very pleasant stay. The room had portable air conditioners, which worked very well and were especially appreciated during the hot weather. The beds were comfortable, the showers were good, and the breakfast was tasty with a nice selection. Room 135 has a lovely balcony with a stunning view of Mount Pilatus, which was a real highlight of our stay. The hotel itself is very charming and looks beautiful from the outside, with its café and restaurant adding to the atmosphere. Another big advantage is the excellent public transport nearby, with many buses and other connections passing close to the hotel, making it very easy to get around Lucerne. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

The lighting in rooms 135 and 136 was insufficient, especially around the wardrobe — we actually needed a flashlight to put clothes away or take them out. There were not enough power outlets, and the available ones were not conveniently located for charging phones and other devices. For guests who have difficulty with stairs, it is important to know that the elevator stops between floors, so some stairs are still required. In addition, the stair handrail did not feel very stable. A minibar or small refrigerator in the room was definitely missing and would have been very useful.

Location was really good! Once you get the hang of the place, you'll realised that it's a good location. Breakfast is amazing! Even as I moved on and checked into other hotels, I find myself missing the breakfast here. The front office staff is friendly and even allowed us to check-in early so we're able to freshen up and rest after a long 14-hour flight - very appreciative of that!

The room itself is a little dated and furniture kinda old, but the location and breakfast make up for that. And we spend very little hours in the room, so that's fine.

El hotel por fuera tiene un encanto histórico, solo eso me gustó. Está cerca del centro y se pueden visitar muchos sitios pero no se caracteriza por ser céntrico.

Las habitaciones no cuentan con el encanto que tiene la imagen del hotel por fuera, en principio para llegar a mi habitación tenía que subir por 2 escaleras diferentes, un laberinto. Segundo, la habitación que me dieron era muy calurosa pero tenía aire acondicionado portátil que hacía un ruido infernal, imposible lograr descansar. Tercero, el desayuno es muy básico, ni siquiera tiene tostadora. No es un hotel funcional y no lo recomendaría.

Non c’è aria condizionata ma hanno messo un condizionatore portatile molto rumoroso. Lasciandolo acceso durante il giorno la camera si raffresca sufficientemente per poi spegnerlo di notte.
