We have stayed at a Hampton Inn & Suites before, and what makes these hotels a reliably good choice for our family are the breakfast self-service, along with the pool. This place was great for both.

The pool did not always have towels available, but the staff was always doing their best to stock the rack.

The double pavement when checking in, reported it right away but took almost a week and several calls to get it back ⁰

Everything was lovely, but the thing that stood out the most was that this location had numerous places to hang towels inside and outside of the bathroom. More hotels need to do this.

Great experience with everything. Location wax good facilities were great. Pool and hot tub awesome. Breakfast had everything you needed to get your day started. Staff were professional efficient and pleasant

A bit expensive for the three nights we spent there. The shower stalls could use some sprucing up. There were spots of mold in the caulking and shower door tracks.

The bed was very uncomfortable, shower was not good, need new shower heads, very disappointed with the breakfast.

Staff were cagey about cost for booking online, cost to wedding guests accomodated in the hotel when we were there and cost if I was to just call the hotel and aske for a room. Also not pleased that I could not get points because I booked on line. still not sure if it was of value to book on line since staff would not give me relative costs.

The bathroom door broke off on day 2, but a staff member immediately came up to fix it. It may have missed inspection before we moved into the room because the door was flimsy from the start.

Lobby and rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast consistently replenished.

TVs in room and lobby didn’t have sports channels to watch jays games. Come one. At least provide sport channels.

Short on towels in the pool area, the room had stuff smeared on the wall and stains on the comforter. But otherwise it was good.

Great breakfast. Everything was clean. Great location, close to almost everything you could need on vacation!

Our last night, there was a group of kids running and yelling through the halls. You could hear them above us, then on our floor.

The hot tub was sub par. The whole reason I booked at this location was because it had a hot tub. The jets were lame at best.

Shower faucet was broken

This is a clean hotel with friendly front desk staff. It is exactly what you expect to get for what you pay for with a Hampton. It meets the standard of a solid chain hotel. We have stayed here many times.

We would like better Gluten-Free options at the breakfast please!

The hotel was beautiful and had a lot of amenities. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

I couldn't turn the temperature lower than 20 so I felt it was too hot to sleep. Breakfast wasn't served until 7 and we had to leave before that so we missed our included breakfast

Pretty much everything from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, room was excellent and overall, just a great stay for us with our fur babies.

The room was great, super comfortable. The breakfast was pretty decent, simple but with choices and the quality was excellent.

The staff in the front desk was great, at least the ones I interacted with. I needed to make a phone call before my arrival for a request and the person I spoke with wasn’t professional at all.

The room was lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was nice.

I had asked for early check-in because we wanted to check in before a wedding in Elora. I called the number given as noted on the morning to confirm but it went to an individual’s voicemail 1-519-829-5745. I then was contacted by the hotel and asked what time we would be there and I said 12:30pm. A male called back from the voicemail then, and I told him the hotel already called and asked when we are arriving. I told him 12:30pm and he said “that’s interesting” and said he would call me back, which he didn’t. Then we were delayed, so I called the hotel and said that we wouldn’t be there until 1:00pm. And they said they would put that in the notes. Bottom line, when we got there, the room was not ready. We were told it was sold out the night before, and checkout was noon, so they couldn’t have it ready. The senior staff was very good, and reassured us and got it ready by 1:30pm. However, we were hoping to leave by 1:30pm to find parking and get to the wedding ceremony in Elora well before 2:30pm. I wish they would have told us in the morning the 3 times we were in touch that it wasn’t possible to get the room ready early. We would have got dressed at home if we’d known. My daughter dropped me off at the wedding ceremony, and by the time she found parking, she missed most of the ceremony. It was disappointing. And there were broken chips on the pull out bed’s sheets. We replaced the sheets with the second beds sheets. We understand that we were rushing them to clean the room. Just wanted to point it out though. And I thought from talking to the reception that the tuck store was open all the time, but when we arrived back after the wedding at 12:30pm no one was around.

Requested scent-free room and the room was scent-free down to the soaps and shampoos provided.

The breakfast sausage patty and (powdered?) scrambled eggs were unappetizing.

Breakfast was below expectations The rooms MUST be renovated. Old bath stalls, furniture, room style, small closet. Not at all what you expect at that price. No value in room.

The size of the room was nice, everything was very clean and it was quiet.

We did not have the breakfast but there was an issue with our room. We got the room with a in suite jet tub and the jets didn’t work. The next morning the staff turned the jets on and it was terribly noisy and made a terrible smell. When I called the front desk we were told that they should not have given us the room and it was their mistake. Fortunately they turned it off after around 15 min but we had to leave the room because of the smell.

Nice space, good breakfast. A but farther from the centre of Guelph than we would have liked.

I extremely upset when I received my bill to find I had been charged $10.00 for a can of ginger ale . I wanted to pay for it but it was placed on room tab . I would not have purchased it had I been told the price. If that is what you charge for a soft drink I will reconsider staying or purchasing any items in the future. You are obviously one of the more expensive hotels in the area but that was a ridiculous price.

Good value for the money. Hallways were quiet and offered a good nights sleep.
