Reviewed Nov 17, 2025

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025Old school hotel with great facilities and a great vibe. Large, spacious hotel room with a massive comfy bed, a good shower and, crucially for Shanghai, good air conditioning. And an amazing breakfast buffet!
Expensive laundry service ($4 AUD per pair of underwear, so I just ended up going to a nearby laundromat instead) and expensive buffet breakfast. If you have the choice, choose the buffet breakfast when you book a room, because the buffet itself is great!

The breakfast was average, and the refills were not done on time. The English proficiency of the hotel staff was very poor and unacceptable. They only accepted Chinese banknotes for the deposit!!! Overall, the hotel was in very poor condition, and this was the last time I booked this hotel. Thank you.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Breakfast is reasonably priced, but it would be better if some more western food was added. The room design is very good, especially living area and bedroom separately, also have two toilets, we really liked. The location is awesome, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of food at reasonable prices. It's also close to the subway and bus stations. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.
For superior suite, the curtains are not automatic, and the storage room is a bit small.
