Drury Inn & Suites Amarillo

The room was clean and pool and hot tub were nice

No bar or restaurant

Welcoming and friendly staff. The lovely surprise of having dinner as well as breakfast included was a delight. Both meals were delicious. Being able to wash my clothes was a bonus.

Nothing

breakfast was great

lots of parking in front of the hotel good grass for the dog.

$60 pet fee - too high Poor quality pillows

Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful!

The staff and the great breakfast.

La ubicación para nuestra ruta era perfecta. Las chicas de recepción muy amables, habitaciones limpias y amplias.

Estaría bien si pusieran más variedad de comida en los desayunos.

Easy access off the highway as we were traveling cross country. Pets allowed. I did not like that we had to pay the pet fee for 2 dogs. There should be a lower rate for 1 dog.

The bathroom was really small. The room seemed small also. The restaurant offers only 1 option for food at dinner. They rotate their menus by the day. So the free dinner was pasta for the night we stayed, not anything I would eat. There should be at the very least 3 options for food at dinner service. Fortunately there are many restaurants close by.

Breakfast was delicious and there were many options. First time to stay at a Drury. Excellent stay. The staff were all very friendly and seemed genuinely glad to be there.

The room was large and comfortable. We especially like the Kick Start in the evening and buffet breakfast. It really helps save on meal costs and is so good.

Location is great. I like the variety. Something for everyone. Some foods I don't eat, but enough of what I do.

Great happy hour and breakfast

everything

Personnel très accueillant

Great location, very clean, great breakfast, courteous staff. I have stayed at this location 4 times. I will definitely be back

Probably a little more expensive than I would normally choose for a longer stay but I was just there for the night

A reasonably large parking area. Thank you

Le balcon La propreté La piscine.

Bed and pool

The dog small and carpet was nasty

At the hot meal and the breakfast, we visited with a total of 5 different couples who had amazing travel stories to share. The atmosphere for dining led to friendly conversations.

Nothing we could see.

Free drink tickets and dinner.Friendly staff.

La "hora feliz" por la tarde, alimentos variados y buenas bebidas. Cama comoda, habitacion limpia.

Que habia muchas mascotas.

Great breakfast & very clean

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean hotel, great food, and overall friendly guest. We are looking forward to visit Amarillo, Texas again and plan on staying here again.

breakfast was great and staff was perfect Emily was amazing at front desk

Close to I-40 to continue our trip

Dinner (buffet) was tasteless at best. Free drinks were the best part of it. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Clean, right off the freeway, lots of restaurants nearby

We love how friendly the staff are and how clean it is. This is our third time staying. The added benefit of the free buffets and free drinks is something you don’t see at other places.

Not crazy about carpet in rooms anymore

The staff was incredible. All of them!

Check in was great! Greeted by a friendly staff person who provided helpful information about all the amenities and she highlighted the "all you can eat" breakfast, which in my opinion, was delicious! Room was clean and beds comfy! We also liked how pet friendly this hotel happened to be. I've never seen so many dogs entering and leaving a hotel in my life!

The floors outside the elevator on the third floor were really sticky -- but other than that, great place to stay!

It was nice and close to lots of places to eat

The hallway we stayed in smelled like cigarettes

The "kick back" happy hour was fantastic! While the buffet choice wasn't extensive, it was certainly adequate for our evening meal, which meant we didn't have to go out looking for a restaurant.

No complaints from us! We would absolutely stay at Drury Inn again.

The breakfast was pretty good

My room had a balcony with a view of nothing. lol

Fantastic location!

It was terrific-no complaints!

We always try to book Drury Inn when we travel as a family with two kids. And this time was no exception. As always, great service, the room was clean, breakfast and kick off meal were great.

Great location and price. Great Staff they were very friendly and helpful. Place was well maintained Great breakfast and service

Food was awful. It used to be good. Must have changed vendors.

Everything was wonderful with the exception of the HVAC. We were on the 6th floor and our room just would not cool off. We borrowed a box fan from our friends we were visiting and it helped.

This is one of our all-time favorite places to stay.

Very clean, inviting property with friendly staff and excellent, albeit basic, breakfast included. For a quick overnight stop in Amarillo, it’s hard to beat this one.

Nothing.

Marquis was amazing. I left my charging block at home. He was able to find one that was left behind from a former guest that I was able to use until I checked out. He was amazing. polite helpfully and a joy to talk with.

The noise the ac made when it was running and the amount of of light coming through the door to the balcony. needs a curtain

The drinks and food was awesome! Great staff, clean rooms and very dog friendly!

Did not eat there!

Everything nothing bad to say I'm a regular here

No complaints

The bed was comfortable

Front desk employee (elderly lady) was rude how she spoke to others, I guess she thought it was funny but it came off wrong! A/C weren’t working and this led to waiting for elevators longer time our room wasn’t attended to daily

We booked the Drury through Booking.com The price was better than offered by your hotel direct, Booking put us in a King, non smoking , no pets, room for 2 adults. As requested,BUT THE ROOM was for wheel. chair invalids- the shower was such that it flooded the bathroom. Though the hotel corrected the flooded bathroom problem. The king suite provided was on the freeway side and we did not get much sleep. Summary: for us- don’t use Booking com! for the Drury, take extra the hotel booking sites don’t ruin the Drury reputation, or provide a bad. experience at the Drury!!

The 2nd room provided to replace the wheelchair shower experience was a king suite, but it was freeway side and very. noisy. 1) don’t use Booking.com 2) Maybe not use Drury next time

Breakfast is good! Room is clean and bed is comfortable!

The room has paper thin walls so that you can hear every sound in the neighborhood!

Super hôtel, chambres top, super emplacement, grand parking, boutiques, restaurant autour de l'hotel

Conveniently located …excellent room…great staff

Though this hotel was full of guests, little time was spent waiting for anything. the staff in this Amarillo site were top-notch. They were efficient with the check in and out process. Everyone working there was constantly looking out for things to help us with, for areas that needed to be cleaned up, or for food/drinks that needed to be replenished. The room was comfortable and clean. This is our go to hotel whenever our trips take us through or near Amarillo

The facilities were very clean, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The room was located closer to the elevator but was still very quiet.. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was very convenient to the I-40 as well as shopping and restaurants. The complementary breakfast was good. There were luggage carts, if needed.

Clean

Pool & exercise

Very nice staff. Happy hour was nice and there was a little hot pasta to snack on. Breakfast was standard.

Bed was "spongy" - too soft for us

They had complimentary dinner with 3 free adult drinks. Along with a free complimentary breakfast that was a real breakfast and not powdered eggs.

Nice hotel

Noise from interstate traffic

The breakfast and KickStart dinners were very good and enjoyed. Location was excellent and plenty of parking.

The rooms are older, out-of-date, the television was small older model. It was sitting on a large TV cabinet above viewing sight of the couch (which was old and lumpy). In order to turn on/off and change channels on TV, you have to hold your arm above your head and shoulders when sitting on couch and TV was not viewable from the bed.

Front desk staff was welcoming to my dog and I.

Room was clean and a nice size. Well-equipped, and ready to get too.

We arrived, had to wait 15 minutes for a luggage cart. Waited 10 minutes to check in. Food at 6 pm was almost all gone.

Kathy in housekeeping is a gem. She brought me a plate from the dining room. Couldn't leave my vocal dog alone to get it myself.

Nothing

I booked the room, when I got there the kid behind the desk said they had no rooms , but could give me a king suite sense the 2 queens were sold out, then the manager said no I couldn’t have that room that they were sold out. Both were very rude!

The convenience of traveling with a pet and the welcoming atmosphere, The dinner buffet and drinks were a welcome touch after a long day of travel.

Nothing

It was clean and everyone was very friendly

We were treated so well!

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Everything!!!

Bacon for breakfast!!!

Location and room options

Older, in need of updating and some minor room repairs

It al went well but we got in late and went to bed.

It was comfortable. Needed more lighting for makeup in the bath.

Very clean and staff was very friendly

Elevators are really slow

Staff extremely helpful and room was very clean

Bed was too soft

Friendly

Noise from other rooms throughout the late hours

Excellent visit! I am returning 6/30!!!

Poor reservation skills. Booked king lady said you did not book our website so you get what we have. Queen second floor. I told her I paid for a king room online with hotels.com. Sorry you did not book with us. No trying to work the issue. Just take it or leave it. Booked a week ahead of time. Poor customer service. I have stayed numerous times and was always treated great. Same booking method. Very dissatisfied with check in.

I’ve stayed at this location 3 times over the years. I was very tired and the first room had some issues. The staff gave me a different room and all was well.

The ac took a while to get to a comfortable level and the cleaning staff missed cleaning out the fridge. The hotel was very understanding and made things right.

The staff was so nice and the rooms were nice

Kathy or Cathy as I don’t remember was exceptional. She greeted us as we approached check in, chatted with us appropriately and made us feel welcome. Drury could do no better when it comes to staff/guests interaction. She deserves a raise as she, and not the room, the wine or the food, made us want to return and to use Drury whenever we travel by car. You could have no better emissary than she is.

We really enjoyed the Kickback.

The location is great.

Price was way too high for the room we got. Room was small and facing the freeway. Lots of traffic noise. Food was under par. Price was way too high for sun evening and dogs in dining area.

Staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Elevator is slow . Need update showers .

Clean, quiet, large rooms.

Nothing

Clean facilities n happy hour

Well designed hotel with amenities that are actually useful to a traveler. In house reservations were a blessing and the staff is friendly and seem to enjoy the environment. Housekeeping and maintenance are top notch. Easy access to I40 and several good restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this place.
